Personas
-David Trapspringer, the leader of this large band of thieves and cutthroats. David is intelligent and always considers the obstacles that are sitting in his path to be just minor details. 'Opportunities insufficiently guarded. Victimless crimes.' is just one of the many things that David might say when coming across the perfect heist and of course it is true. David stands roughly around 6'2" with dark hair and wears an eye patch his attire is always dark in color and yet very fitting of a noble at times.
-Elio the Wise is a female wood elf who works within the guild halls as historian and lore keeper. Elio can be said to be a tad tall for her race by only a few inches but she has never any room to complain as her outlook on life is simple; "if it is in the way, remove it. If it happens to be useful and you destroyed it then repair it."
-John Stalwart is a half-ork male that stands roughly around 7'2" and always seems to be in a rather foul mood.
-Cardinia Shipwrite is a female hill dwarf that has found wealth in the markets above to be rather nice considering she always seems to make some kind of profit. For those who are not apart of the guild of theives they will find that Cardinia is a good source of information if they can meet her prices.
Education: Houpetorlivaij is very well educated and when he was younger he always seemed to escape from his swampy home in search of knowledge and the coin to bring himself up higher in the world. Houpetorlivaij attended a general college under the guise of a young man with great ambitions for a city and then moved on to take up another role to help his understanding of the world around him.

David did not look all to pleased by this as this pawn of his was trying to become something more than what he was. "You will work regardless of the noise. Watch what you say to me or I will make sure you suffer for such insolence. Like I said you are valuable but replaceable and easily disposed of." The master thief just looked at his Captain he had appointed some time ago just to point to the artificer. "I want you to make sure there is always four men watching him. Do I make myself clear Jeanella." David had just about enough of the mouth on the Artificer but needed him to forge weapons for a hopeful war that could have its strings tugged to go either way. Hell this Artificer gave David a better option then using his enchanting abilities to make weapons as these were cheaper and still at this point more easily distributed in mass.

"Then we will just have to silence this portion of the room. A simply spell but one that is costly and time consuming." David responded rather quickly just to look at the artificer and shake his head. "There will be a war and with that profit. So long as you work you eventual payout will increase."

The stout was as it had always been, busy to say the least. Filled to the brink with elves, gnomes, halflings and mostly dwarves this establishment truly served to almost everyone who was a fan of fine drinks and strong spirits. Hfahn the dwarven barkeep kept his Dwarven urgrosh hanging up behind the Obsidian counter while the elf who was a co-owner with that very same bartender stood and watched over the patrons from above while eating an apple slice. However the real man in charge of this establishment was a single human with dark hair and an eye patch. It was this very human who kept to the roaring hearth that was in the center of the room going over some scrolls and partaking in some brandy now and again.

Hfahn simply took the gold and counted them out only to shake his head. "a fine selection." He commented only to huff a little bit and make his way over to one of the casks sitting bellow just to raise it up and place it high up as if on display only to fill a stone drinking glass for the elf. David who was sitting at the hearth had spotted the elven woman way before she had even made it up to the counter but continued to read his scrolls as if not noticing a thing for now. Something about this elf reminded him of some work he had seen done not to recently.

Hfahn simply looked at the tiefling who appeared to have suffered a couple of singes to her hair. "Damn it girl." The dwarf shook his head. "I thought we discussed that you take your spellcasting out behind the tavern as to not scare away potential customers. Last thing I need is for some random arcane bolt of lightning to be thrown in this place." Hfahn scolded her just to then suddenly note that Melthandon, the elf and co-owner of the taver, was snickering a little bit. David keep to his seat however only to glance one more time at the elven woman who had come to this place just to then wave down the tiefling barmaid. "I require more Ishlivien Brandy!" David shouted over the crowd to get the barmaids attention. It did not take long for David to suddenly note the presence of the Artificer within the establishment but he remained calm as he was sure this one was not looking for the one he and his seconds had captured.

David looked at the Tiefling serving girl and began to laugh a little to himself as he was digging through his coin purse and pulled out a single gold coin and handed it to her. "You do best to just bring the bottle next time lass." David spoke just to let his single green eye gaze upon this girl for some time before taking the cup and then looking back down at the scrolls written down in Draconic and a little bit of elvish, along with a few stranger bits of text that almost seemed to be infernal. David after awhile took note of the elven woman once again and began to smile slightly as she came over to sit around the massive hearth. David simply went over the scroll before him just to then glance back over to the Artificer in the room once more wondering as to what reason one of those subterranean bastards would be doing up above ground. "Capital." Was all the master spy and thief could mutter to himself as he simply went back over the notes he was reading.

David Trapspringer simply continued to look over his documents just barely catching the gaze from the elven woman who was looking upon the documents. A slight smile creeped up the master spies face as his single green eye now remanded fully upon the scroll. Within moments of the serving girl bringing him the light elvish brandy he simply took up his cup and downed half of it just to put roll the scroll up and place it within a small chest that was to his right only to close it up while he waited for the elf to make her proper move.

"So the elf can speak." David spoke plainly in return as he began to lean back a little in his chair looking far to relaxed only to wave her over. "Yes the documents that I was going over had some elvish in them but nothing more than a mixed bit of words here and there." David spoke once again just to take up his cup and began to stare into the open fire in the center of the room that he sat in front of.

One of the barmaids would bring another cup for the elven woman to drink only to bow slightly and whisper ever so slightly. "M'lady please do care for yourself as you only need to pay 2 silver for a bottle and so every cup you receive is around 10 copper." The Barmaid spoke just to bow and make her way back to work to tend to the other customers. David however during this time could only smile. "You clearly do not know much of what I have seen then but I trust your right on this. They can be a bit chatty." David began to chuckle a little only to shake his head. "And I know a variety of languages as it is needed for a man in the position I sit."

"That is a very bold question from one stranger to another." David spoke only to catch on to the presence of one of his captains being within the tavern right at this moment. It did not matter much if Jeanella was pleased to be here or if she found it a duty that she needed to follow it was simply pleasurable to know that there was loyalty behind that half elf. "My name is David, David Tasselhoff Trapspringer, and as to what I do. Well let us just say that I am a business man of sorts. Considering that would be the closest definition as to what my job describes anyway." David went to take up his cup and shake his head. "Court life of the higher nobles intrigues me and even lords and ladies come to see what I have to offer."

"My services are of such a wide variety that normally I only deal with those who I can see a profit from." David quickly replied only to smile devilishly at the elvish woman before him. "You see the business I run is more or less based on the fundamentals of profit in the form of acquiring information or goods at less than cost effective prices and then making double on them, you could just say I am a merchant in some ways." David took up his cup of elvish brandy just to take a few sips of it before setting it down on the stone of the hearth beside him. "I try to keep only the best of the best around at all times."

Houpetorlivaij made note of the gnome that entered and felt slightly peeved that one of his future captains, or possible a second depending on how things panned out was not on time. David wanted this elven assassin to be under his flag as he did not like the idea of free roaming thieves and cutthroats running around while his territory was still growing and expanding in every way possible. "I can only say that it takes more patience then what I have at times." David spoke before the elfs attention was diverted to the gnome. The spy master simply pulled back his sleeves slightly to reveal his two copper bracelets with their charms still attached and on his right hand a couple of the charms appeared to be wands or rods of some sort along with a sword and a couple of books. At the gnomes request David just began to shake his head.

"My allies are the ones who should learn something from me. I take what I can get but from how I run things I have to look that 12 steps ahead otherwise I will loose everything." David spoke rather casually just to then lift the small chest from the ground and place it between them only to then raise his hand slightly and place it over his personal container he had brought with him. "How would you like to have a rather nice job in a rather lucrative business. I assure you that I do not offer this to many people." David began to smile devilishly once again as this was the look he always had when he was about to bring in what he wanted. "You see this very lucrative business must first require one of my very proud members to show themselves before I can even begin. Actually let me just test something." David spoke and gave a flick of his wrist on his left hand only to suddenly produce a small saphire that he quickly placed on the low sitting table before them all. "If one of my 'friends' are present right now I would wish for them to take this normal looking gem from the table before me but I could just be wrong that the presence of such a person is not available."

With the gem already invisible and with the unneeded aid of a blast of smoke sure enough the sapphire was actually gone and without a trace. "That was overly unwelcome." David spoke just to frown slightly. He had known this entire time that Jeanella was there and he knew full well that the day would come when he would show her what he truly was just to devour her deep in the dark murky waters of his home. David who was about to speak began to cough a little and shake his head. "I am so pleased to see that my 'friends' did not over due it as much as I thought. To be honest I thought something might have caught on fire for a second." David spoke trying to make himself laugh a little but was failing at it. "I am also glad to see that the tavern is not filled with the usual outsiders anymore. I am wanting to extend my hand to you to join me. I wish to extend an invitation from a guild of thieves and assassins who control a good portion of what this city claims to have in power." David continued to smile only to stand up and wave the elf to follow him. "I first require you to pass a small test of wit so that you may have access to such a place. If you pass you will be inducted into the guild hall and have access to the best prices of the black market that we control down bellow."

David simply stopped in mid stride and turned to look at the elven woman. "When I first came to be I was taight a very valuable lesson. Everyone wears masks ,Molael Moraes, and some of us are much better and finding out who is behind them more so than others." David has his ways with information but it did also help to pay a diviner or two to get information about people who he would meet either for the next day or so on. "Come we have many things to discuss and not much time to do so as I have far more taxing situations to deal with. A wonderful example would be if my favorite mason does not show himself soon then there will be a rather eventful night ahead of him." David began to chuckle slightly and made his way into the kitchen and down into the cellar.

David made his way down into the cellar only to give a flick of his left wrist to produce a small candle which he quickly began to light just to then fill the oil lamps that were down here. Suddenly the room was bright and casks and bottles of wine could be spotted sitting every place in nice neat location would on the southern wall sat a strange seal and a riddle. "I require you to answer the riddle on the wall. Do this and you will be allowed to join and I would only hope that you would think about the future capital that you and I are going to be making."

David began to smirk as he simply looked over the busy market stalls of illegal goods and services. "Welcome my elvish assassin to The Obsidian Halls. My creation and very profitable 'business center' that everyone is very proud of. Higher ranking officials of the city who wish me stopped do not know of this and I wish to keep it this way least I find new replacements." David began to walk away slightly only to turn and look at them. "You can take any of the rooms in this hall and claim one as your own personal quarters. There is much here so do not get lost."

"Think of it more as a unification of all 'factions' on such a lovely world that we all call home. Why should I have to fight with other groups if we all achieve the same feel of satisfaction in what we do." David seemed to respond to only one of her queries as he began to see a couple of mindfalyers walk in from the tunnels bellow that connected right into the market itself only to set up shop with various mushrooms and other goods from the underdark. Moving back to the elvish assassin to answer her other questions David just simply shrugged. "Would it be wrong of me to say that everyone loves gold and that the victimless crimes we commit are nothing more that my reach extending over the world. I just wish to live comfortable is all. I hope that we have an understanding."
