Indigo Toyota
His name is Indigo Toyota. He's probably not who you were expecting.

Description
Indigo is a little over 6' tall, and slender, well-built for the use of weapons of finesse and agility, like his trusty rapier. He has flaxen hair and dark green eyes, his face slim without being pointed. His arms hang down just a little past what would be perfectly proportioned with the rest of his body, giving hi an almost monkey-like appearance in the right light.
Personality
Indigo, or "Indie", for short, is a light-hearted swashbuckler, out for fun and profit, travelling the world and generally having a laugh. He's not hard to get along with, often falling into deep friendships over the cost of a beer and not a lot else.
Equipment
He has a hat. Or had, rather; now he has a Backup Hat.
The original hat (stolen by Neko Saken) was a pleasant forest brown, the sort of colour of a pale tree bark, adorned with a speckled quail feather...
The new hat is somewhat less pleasant, being merely the dull average brown, and having no attached feathers.
Indigo is, as you can tell, rather fixated on his hat.
So begins...
Indigo Toyota's Story

Indigo Toyota sauntered through the gate, on into the city, his cloak drawn around him in a crude imitation of some kind of musketeer, his hat perched jauntily atop his head as he gazed around the entrance to the city.
The setting changes from Outside Eastern Wing City to Wing City Eastern Gate
Indigo Toyota sauntered in through the east gate of the city, his cloak pulled around him to make him look like some kind of musketeer, a feathered hat perched jauntily atop his head as he gazed around at the city outskirts.
Indigo Toyota spun, flourishing his rapier dramatically as he threw his cloak back. "Good day, fine sir!" he called out to Lahorn. "Could you, perchance, direct me to a drinking establishent?"
Indigo Toyota stood, grinning broadly. "My name is Indigo Toyota. You probably weren't expecting me." he replied, using his favourite catchphrase.
Ah-ha! One might as well ask what brings me in to the East Gate. And in answer - the same thing that brings me everywhere - wanderlust, a sense of adventure!
Indigo Toyota drew himself up to his full height, striking a dramatic pose. "Then let us venture forth, on a mighty quest!"
Indigo Toyota rubbed his chin, lost in thought. "Hmm. Well, we could find a damsel to rescue, or a dragon to slay...a tyrant to overthrow, maybe?"
Indigo Toyota blinked in surprise. It wasn't usually this hard to find adventure. "Umm...well, we could go to the tavern and ask around, or just wander about, I suppose?"
The setting changes from Wing City Eastern Gate to Gambit's Bar
Indigo Toyota strolled into the bar, the feather on his hat catching the doorframe as he entered, a light clunk emanating from his rapier hitting the doorframe. He grumbled slightly, adjusting his hat and hoping nobody had noticed before adjusting his scabbard and moving on into the room beyond, noting as he did the creature by the stairs struggling to walk. His instinct to help taking over, he moved towards her, one hand extended. "Excuse me, miss, are you okay?" he asked, his other hand sweeping back to take the hat from his head.
Indigo Toyota winced a little, the claws digging into his hand as he held the little creature's weight. "You seem to be struggling a little...would you like some help?" he asked, not believing her for a moment. He threw the hat to one side to free his other hand, using it to hold her up gently.
Indigo Toyota looked around for a moment, almost daring someone to say something, then steeled himself and lifted the feline carefully, helping her to a seat near the wall, taking the seat across from her, pursing his lips thoughtfully. This was going to be harder than he'd thought...
Indigo Toyota frowned, looking at her in silence for a few moments, trying to formulate his thoughts. It was beginning to dawn on him that an almost reckless impulsiveness wasn't going to serve him so well here as it had in the past. He licked his lips before continuing, speaking slowly. "Can you understand me?" he asked, his voice kept low in the crowded bar.
Indigo Toyota furrowed his brow, deep in thought. Deep for Indigo, anyway, which wasn't saying much...evidently, the small feline creature in front of him didn't speak the same language, and was trying to pick it up from him, to work out what he was trying to say. He left it for a bit, the creases on his brow becoming more evident as they started to glisten from the effort, then decided to try a different tack. He pointed to himself and said "My name is Indigo," then gestured towards Neko Saken, inviting her to respond.
Indigo Toyota smiled, relaxing slightly as he felt a wave of accomplishment. "Saken." He repeated the name, to show he understood. "That's a nice name," he added, forgetting momentarily, his usual approach coming to the fore once again.
Indigo Toyota slapped himself in the forehead, cursing his inability to follow a moderately complex train of thought through to the end without making a mistake. "Where are you from, Saken?" he asked carefully, trying to start with simple questions.
Indigo Toyota raised his hands to his temples, rubbing them slightly, his head spinning from the exertion. He cast his eyes around the bar, looking for anyone who could help him talk to the lady, yet not wanting to admit he had failed on his own.
Indigo Toyota heard the purring, subconsciously reaching out and patting the little feline on the head, trying to avoid the mayhem in the rest of the bar.
