PHYSICALITY

Description This dragon’s head is a moss of thick, short horns in irregular rings around its snout, jaws, and neck, giving its entire head a distinct appearance reminiscent of a lamprey. Its large scales ore a dark graybrown, and a crest of broad, short spines runs from its head to the tip of its toil. A membranous frill runs between these spines down the length of the dragon’s body, allowing it to undulate through the air rather than flop like other dragons. The dragon smells of dust and dirt.

Appearance The massive beast that has appeared before you can only look down at you hungrily for so long just to pick you for a rather specific query it has, “What is it that makes you look so delicious? Could it be the fine meat that sits upon those delectable bones? Bones which I must mind you I will use to flavor a stew I am preparing for a grand feast in my honor. What is that you say? Of course you’re the guest of honor otherwise who else would I dine on?

NameInikhethadaternock is the shortest and easiest for your human tongue to comprehend or pronounce. I say this as I do not wish to waste your own my own time with your failure of using your tongue.

Title I have been given many of those in the past. Some have called me a Dilettante of Cuisine and even the Critic in some realms or company. Rarely have I been called a Virtuoso of Food though I have written several books on fine dining and cooking with such a pin name before.

Race Sand Dragon.

GenderMale

MENTALITY

Personality

QuirksI am no mere brute that will destroy my enemies and devour their remains! The accusation is almost absurd if you think that. Of course I am not about eating someone on our first acquaintance just let it be known that I would rather have you for dinner with a fine meal and drink before I sully my fine pallet with an excuse like yourself.

MotivationFine dining and collecting ancient tomes on lore and magic was not enough of an answer it seemed. I suppose if I have to choose something else it would be the collection of fine cooking utensils to help continue my craft in the culinary arts.

FearsTasting something so horrible I lose all sense of what is right and wrong for my pallet.

Goal To be able to taste every single thing in the entire multiverse without anyone getting in my way.

LikesFine dining of course but I also enjoy works of ar and the occasional other goodies that Dragons love to get their hands on.

DislikesI want you to take my likes and think of their opposites.

StrengthsBesides blending in with the world around me and not drawing attention to the fact that I am a dragon who assumes the form of an elderly man? I suppose I also forgot to mention that I am a master chief in my own regards.

WeaknessesGood food. Did you honestly expect me to say that a sword to my eye would do the trick?

The Brown dragon only brought his tongue out a bit just to then lower his head to the tiefling woman more amazed that she remained where she was instead of running like most of the sane intelligent beings he had eaten in the past. "You do not understand the tongue of the dragons girl? tenpiswo si siofmea si tepoha ocuirtor froneel." The dragon spoke only to take in a deep breath allowing the taste of the desert air fill his mouth just to let a satisfied yawn escape his toothy maw. "Child do you speak of the arcane school of magic of knowing the future and seeking knowledge? I have not heard of any of those spells backfiring in such a way before and I might spare you if you interest me a bit more."

"tir wux ti vucot rionib suiaerl vur ithquant tijai fanol?" The rather large sand dragon spoke only to shake his head and rest upon the sand before the tiefling woman knowing full well that he would devour her before she even tried to strike against him. "Forgive my tongue then. What you are speaking of are divine spells girl, not the arcane, and most certainly not anything I have heard of from the school of divination. You smell of old inks and musty tomes so I assumed you where a spellcaster of some kind whose claim over the arcane is powerful indeed. Now I assume that you are some kind of failed priest who has fallen upon madness and does not seem to know her way home."

The dragon did not think such things about the tiefling people where entirely true as he had once found a way to pillage an entire village of their food and water only to come across several clerics of Pelor and Hieronius who where tieflings, the key word there was where after all sense they did not live long enough to put an end to the sand dragon who sat before the tiefling woman now. "The path of the divines only wields those kind of spells and very few people can master both at once sense the art for each of these two spell casting classes take long years of study." It was all that the dragon spoke of as he looked at Tieglis only to breathe out through his nose as he waited for a response.

"Girl that kind of magic is granted by the gods to men and beast alike and is not like the arcane." The sand dragon spoke only to look down at the tiefling with a bit of curiosity. "Eating you would prove quite the story I am sure but I have other more important things in mind for you girl. I am not lonely but maybe you can do me a favor sense my presence within your academy is not welcomed nor is it known."

"I require specific things from the academy itself, tomes of lost histories written and kept secured within those walls. You would not need to worry yourself with getting caught as who would question what one does academically on their spare time when not learning the more vital parts of their trade." The sand dragon brought a single clawed hand up towards its toothy maw only to laugh sending aa gust of sand in every direction. "For every tome you bring me I will show you something that cannot be learned within those walls and you will benefit from it greatly."

Inikhethadaternock lowered his face to gaze upon the tiefling only to have a rather large toothy dragon grin. It was apparent that this one had spunk to her, Inikhethadaternock could agree to that, but what she did not take into account was what was stopping him now. "You are right to assume such things but my question to you in turn would be as to why would I show you things that would make you a far more threatening adversary and more knowledgeable in the arcane if I was planning on eating you later?"

"Why waste time with words with an old dragon like me. Your Azure Citadel is being run by a rather old blue dragon from my knowledge and I find it quite interesting to see how a bunch of wizards and sorcerers who claim to have such powers sit under such a figure." The sand dragon began to scratch his chin and laugh a bit. "No but for the utmost respect for that blue I find it rather interesting that you are not taking an offer as mine and wishing for a roundabout way of payment. If I wanted to devour you I could have done it from the start of your walk out this far and found another who could use the guidance."

"Tieglis? An interesting name for a Tiefling, very defined, but I suppose it could not be helped." The sand dragon spoke only to then slowly lift himself off from the warm sand bellow just to take in a deep breath. "Inikhethadaternock is the shortest and easiest possible name for your human tongue to comprehend or pronounce. If that will not do it for you then some have called me a Dilettante of Cuisine, and even the Critic, rarely have I been called a Virtuoso of Food though I...... never mind I had just realized these things are not important as of right now."

Inikhethadaternock slightly annoyed at this point only simply nodded as he supposed it could not be helped. "I suppose 'Inik' will be fine for now." The dragon spoke only to then take in the air with one quick sniff. "And as to a fine meal I would be most intrigued to see if you have any skills around the kitchen at all. But enough of this I do beleive our agreement was tomes secured within the Azure Citadel."

"I wish for you to procure old tomes written by House Cannith, this house is not important as it is more academic in nature for my own interests. Besides that I wish for you to procure every tome ever written by Oberion Ishtar." The dragon began to laugh a bit. "Regardless of who it is written by I am sure you can find tomes that are held securely by the Citadel."

"Then I see we have a deal." The dragon began to stretch a bit before allowing its wings to stretch to their full length. "You will bring the tomes to the old ruins of Izaleth here within the desert one you have procured me enough materials and in turn I will teach you something that is practical and useful."

Good food!? Something that was a definite loss in a realm such as this. However have no fear as a man with sun kissed skin and long dark hair stepped in with only a light jacket and a outfit that was more suited to some exotic land far off from the realm of Terra. "What do we have here?" The man spoke in a rather heavy elvish accent as he stepped up towards the bar counter only to admire the establishment once again. For those who did not know of this man he was known by many names and the dishes he prepared for royalty and the common folk alike. "Now were was your kitchen again?

Inikhethadaternock looked down at the cat only to smile and nod a bit. "I am a gourmet by trade and one who has traveled far." The sun kissed man spoke only to make his way out of the bar and into the kitchen were he would begin to prepare meals worthy of the divines themselves. Unknowingly to the patrons of the bar though the Elvish man was taking more than his time when making his finest dishes.

It was a miracle that such a kitchen even existed and any dragon who had any taste would take from this place and add it to their growing hoard. The sun kissed man continued to prepare the unknowing patrons a meal so fine that their souls would cry for heaven and with a few beats of his whisk and a bit of this and that and with the inspiration of Chef François Massialot who wrote Le Cuisinier roïal et bourgeois. Within a matter of seconds The elvish man stepped out with several dishes in hand only to place them before the patrons at the bar and with a devilish smile and simply bowed and offered the patrons a taste. From roasted chickens to the finest Tarte Flambee presented in such a fashion that even the most stingiest of people would be impressed, if not watering at the mouth.

"Please enjoy as I procure a fine wine to go with this slowly growing feast." The sun kissed man spoke as he turned to the wines that were present now only to frown a bit. "A good silveroak blend would do wonders for the soul but I do not see such a bottle." The man began to ponder aloud as his mind began to fill with other things he could create for his guest.

Inikhethadaternock marveled that the cat brought him the wine and with two shakes to the beat of a fine bit of music as he poured several glasses for the patrons while waiting for someone to take a gander and try a bit of the meal set out before them. "A truck doctor? No serjo I do not know of such a thing but I do thank you for this find." The sun kissed man spoke in his heavy elvish accent only to then turn to look at the suddenly dwindling patrons.

"I have been to such a place yes but my people are not of mortal man." The sun kissed man spoke as he began to ponder what to make next for the fine people. After all he was preparing a meal for all who walked into the establishment.

Inikhethadaternock stopped to ponder this very question only to shake his head. "No I am sorry but I know not of this Lord you speak of." The man spoke only to then seeming to vanish from sight but leaving the feast for all.
