Isiah Timber

Blind son of James Timber and Miray.

0 · 215 views · located in Seeker's Ranch

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Scorpion01

Description

Name: Isiah Timber

Age: 16

Species/Race: Half Werewolf, Half Preta-human.

Notable features: Pale eyes, strange birthmarks on his face that look like scars.

Physical Description: Isiah very much resembles his father, James Timber in looks. However the slenderness of his body is from his mother. He has black hair with streaks of Chestnut Brown, light skin, pale eyes, and his face has birthmarks that appear to look like scars running over his eyes and down his cheeks. He wears primarily black clothing, knowing that it is one of the few things he can wear and still match while not looking crazy. He stands at 5'7, and isn't done growing yet.

He retains the strength of both his parents, and the senses of his father, which allows him to navigate the world without the need of any outside help due to his being blind. The unstable mixture of the Werewolf and Preta-Human genes of his parents left him blind from birth, with no hope of repairing them or curing the blindness.

Some days after Mr. Niac's visit....

Isiah strolled down the stairs, humming to himself, wearing his usual black or darkly colored clothing, his shaggy black hair unkept and scraggy, leaving him looking sloppy. He didn't care, or know however - kid was blind after all. Snow barked in greeting at the bottom of the stairs, and Isiah clicked his tongue at her, acknowledging her presence and giving her a greeting in return. The smell of breakfast wafted past his nose and he stumbled momentarily before refocusing on keeping his balance, and walking down the stairs. "Morning!" He called out to his parents, James and Miray.

James replied with a grunt, hunched over the stove, doing his ample best not to burn the bacon this time. Isiah only smiled, and found his way to the living room where his Mother was, a gentle, exploratory hand feeling around her chair before coming to rest on her shoulder. "Mornin' Ma." He said, stooping over to give her a hug and a peck on the cheek. "Papa's actually cooking today?" He asked, a little surprised. James wasn't the best at cooking - admittedly neither of them were, but James seemed more preoccupied with the chores around the Ranch rather than cooking, leaving it to Miray most days. He made his way to his spot on the couch, and settled into it with a content sigh. He kept his head turned away from Miray; his ear in stead of his eyes pointing towards her so he could hear her and keep track of her movements in place of his eyes.

Miray smiled as her son took his normal spot on the sofa "Better your father attempting to cook so we dont have to order carry out or have left over pizza for breakfast" Or a midnight snack, or something. It of course made Miray smile anew. She was still shocked she could have children, two boys, Isiah, her oldest, was a equal mix but had enough gentics from James in order to transform once a month properly

her second son was Ethan, the boy had more of her traits in him which allowed him to see. Ethan of course had insiswted on the nural link for him and Isah one year not too long ago, the only real way for the brothers to stay in contact with each other. As much as Miray hated to admit it, these boys were having the childhood she never had. Somehow she felt a little jealous. But honestly for once she was happy, and with two wonderful sons she knew she could relax

Finally Miray after a brief moment of watching her son turn an ear towards her said simply "Good morning sweetie, did you sleep well ?" She was going to ask him later if he had heard from Ethan yet, every morning there was a bit of news from Ethan, half a galaxy away exploring with his classmates a world called Originand a really nice academy dorms, the works.

Isiah nodded at his mother's question. "Yes I slept quite well. Had a good conversation with Ethan before I knocked out. He says they're having a great time - just landed in a new city to explore." he said, tilting his head slightly. One couldn't deny it was a little unnerving talking to someone who didn't look directly at you, but Miray and James had quickly learned to deal with it as Isiah grew and matured, and began to talk more. He had learned the nonverbal communication first - the grunts and growls and other bestial noises that normally made no sense to anyone else. When he started speaking English, he learned quickly. He and Ethan both were extremely smart boys, and made their parents proud each day.

"How about you, Ma? Sleep good?" he asked, crossing one leg over the other and leaning back into the seat. James and Miray's master bedroom was at the very end of the hall upstairs, and was huge, with a king sized bed, spacious walk in closets for both of them, a luxurious bathroom with a full bath and walk-in shower. It was beautiful, and James built it all himself, with the help of some old friends who were contractors of course. All of it for them. For her. Isiah was almost sad he couldn't seat it. Regardless, he remembered how comfortable the bed James and Miray shared, having slept in it during his young child hood to soothe bad dreams and the like. The smell of the bacon having been cooked just right wafted through the room, as well as the sound of James chuckling to himself in pride.
