Description

Image
Hair color: Black
Eyes color: Green
Height: Five foot one
Weight: 110
Age: Twenty

Personality

Stubborn and childish, Jacey will most likely stick her tongue out at you/punch you in the shoulder when she is commanded. A sarcastic sense of humor leaves her seeming bitter and rather angry inside. She enjoys sticking her nose in other people's business and offering advice, even when it isn't wanted. If you are looking for a pity party, get the hell away. She isn't your therapist and she damn well doesn't want to be.

Equipment

Weapons: Whatever she can steal from your pockets.

History

Jacey was abandon in an Ally-way at the age of four in Chicago, Illinois. A group of thugs attempted to beat and kill the little girl, but hardly got past raising their fists when mob boss Tommy Dizzario stumbled upon them. After scaring away the thugs, he brought the child ‘home’ with him. His fellow mob members didn’t understand why he’d saved her, but Tommy had a plan. He’d train the kid on the ways of the mob and leave someone to take his place after he died. Tommy taught Jacey how to defend herself, how to survive, and most importantly: never trust anyone. Jacey’s first kill was when she was ten years old and from there on she killed constantly. She craved her father’s approval more than anything in the world.

Growing up, Jacey was respected in the mob circle because of her father's position. However, when Tommy died when Jacey was 15, the people she’d seen as family suddenly turned against her because she was officially the new Mob Boss. Rumor around the streets is that the mob is still looking for her all these years later for reasons unknown.

So begins...

Jacey Dizzario opened her mouth to speak, but shut it just as quickly. She wanted to say something about Anja, but didn’t want to anger him. “Why haven’t you been around?” Jacey asked with wide eyes. “I’ve been alright. That guy I think I told you about, Jimmie, has been around looking for me. He almost caught me the other day but a random guy knocked him out with a glass.” She shrugged as if this was an everyday occurrence. “So I’ve been laying low.”

At Phinx Munroe’s words, Jacey offered her a slightly shaky smile. “I’m Jacey, nice to meet you.”

Jacey Dizzario nodded slowly. "I saw Anja... What happened, Kazen? She wasn’t right…" She frowned worriedly, remembering Anja’s bruised and beaten body. “You told her you weren’t friends? Because she suddenly didn’t believe I was her friend either. I spent the better part of an hour convincing her I cared for her.”

Jacey grinned at Phinx, shaking her head. “Mm, nope. I’m not scared of black people. I just don’t know you.” She shrugged. “But let’s grab a booth.” She spun on her heel and walked over to a booth, sliding in on one side.

Jacey Dizzario frowned. "I'm sorry to hear that... I haven't seen her around lately. I'm kind of worried. She wasn't..." Jacey fought to find the correct word. "She wasn't really right. What started the fight anyways? I couldn’t get real things out of her…” She shook her head, shaking away the memories. “Are you okay?”

Jacey Dizzario stumbled down the stairs leading from Gambit's Hotel, eyes trained on the bar. Her long black hair was mussed and messy like she had just woken up... Which she had, mind you. Her eyes were still rather sleepy, but she'd woken up and just had a feeling she needed to come down. It became obvious why when she saw Mason -- Her Mason sitting there at the bar. A loud cry escaped her lips as she launched herself across the room towards him.

Jacey Dizzario ignored the sound of the glass breaking, a huge grin breaking out across her face. “You’re home,” she squealed, throwing herself at him. The logical part of her brain wondered if he could hold her weight but she didn’t really care. Her arms wrapped tightly around his neck as she buried her face in his shoulder. “You’re home…” A happy sigh escaped her lips as she hugged him tightly.

Jacey Dizzario pulled back, finally noticing how tired he looked. “Oh Mason…” she murmured, plopping down in the seat next to him. “I don’t matter, how are you?” Her green eyes worriedly ran over his body, looking for obvious injuries. “Did I hurt you? Oh I’m such an idiot! I should have been thinking about how - ” she paused her ramblings, sending him a small grin. “I’m sorry, I’ve just missed you so much.”

"It sure doesn't look like nothing..." she muttered, eyes still tracing over his body. She raised her gaze to meet his; that same grin from earlier spreading across her face. “You are here…” she bit her lip, fighting the urge to throw herself into his arms and kiss him senseless. He wasn’t well enough for her enthusiastic kisses today, that much was obvious. “What do we do now? We could get outta here if you want… Or I could buy you some coffee because you look like you’re going to pass out.”

Jacey Dizzario sipped slowly at her coke, her eyes not leaving Mason. She couldn’t believe he was here. Finally, after waiting for almost two months, he was here. Her hand reached out slowly to grab his, entwining their fingers if he’d let her. “Is.. Is this okay?” Jacey bit her lip, staring up at him. Moving on, she laughed. “Well, that’s true. It is pretty late… Where are you staying tonight, honey? You look dead tired and you could crash in my room. I’ll take the floor to protect your innocence,” she laughed, winking cheekily at him.

Jacey Dizzario sighed. "I'm sorry I wasn't here sooner to give you a place to stay. You're obviously not well and sleeping on those damn booths won't help at all…” She ran her free hand through her tangled locks, wincing slightly. “Oh I look fabulous,” Jacey remarked with a wry grin.

Jacey Dizzario smiled at his grin, happy to see a bit of the old Mason. "Well thank you. And you can take a hot shower and relax." She frowned over at him. "I send you away in perfect condition and you come back bruised and beaten," she joked hollowly, eyes sweeping over his frame again. Even the way he held himself seemed tired and pained.

Jacey Dizzario 's eyes widened at the tattoo. Her fingers reached out to trace the butterfly gently as she gazed down at it. “When’d you get this?” she breathed, “It’s beautiful!” She laughed, smiling up at him.

Jacey Dizzario giggled. "A... Cat? That's uh... Manly." She snickered again, her fingers still exploring the tattoo. "And I don't believe it's a word but we can pretend it is for your sake. I’ve always wanted a tattoo but…” Jacey shrugged. “I just never did it. Too scared I guess.”

Jacey Dizzario squeezed his hand. "We should head up to bed. You can take your shower and pass out afterwards." She waited for his response, eyes trained on his. “If you’re ready, that is. You sure look tired though, honey.”

Jacey Dizzario stood up, pulling him behind her as she crossed the crowded room and approached the stairs. She shot him a look over her shoulder, making sure he hadn’t found a way to pass out while standing. “You’ll have to handle the stairs yourself, honey, I can’t carry you.” She laughed, continuing up the stairs until they disappeared around the turn of the wall.

Jacey Dizzario threw open the door to her room, green eyes dazed. It’d been a long time since she’d been able to sleep without worry and she was looking forward to curling up in bed and sleeping for at least ten hours. Maybe more. Because in the last few weeks she’d gotten about that much time altogether.

She slammed the door shut behind her, eyes closing for a moment. A rustle in the corner of the room caused her eyes to snap open. Had Jimmie found her room? If so, Jacey was in trouble. She wasn’t in any condition to be fighting.

The familiar shape of Mason Giles was lit up by a lamp in the corner of her room and suddenly Jacey wanted to just throw herself into his arms and burry her face into his chest forever. But, she decided to not be impulsive this once.

Plus her body really hurt. So, she limped further into the room, throwing Mason a small smile. “Hey there.”

Jacey Dizzario laughed quietly, shaking her head slightly. "Some of Jimmie's men came after me down this side alley. They blocked me in and I had to fight them." She sat down on the edge of her bed slowly, eyes focused on Mason’s handsome face. “One of ‘em kicked me pretty good in the leg but I managed to get away.”

She sighed, running a hand through her hair. “I lost them somewhere. That’s why I came home. I figured I’d be safer here where I have other people to watch my back.”

Jacey Dizzario stared up at him for a minute before breaking out into a wide smile. "Alright. No more running for me." She laughed, enjoying the warmth of his hands on her shoulders. She hadn't realized how cold she'd been. Sighing, Jacey nodded. “Yeah. That might be best… But… I don’t want to let them get that close again. But if they do…” she grimaced. “I should know how too.”

Her eyes widened at his words and she suddenly looked less tired. “Oh? What are those plans?” She winced slightly as he stared at her arms, sure they were scratched up badly. She should've killed the guy with the knife first. Now she was left with tons of cuts along her pale arms.

Jacey Dizzario scooted closer towards Mason, resting her head on his shoulder. She shut her eyes, relishing in his warmth. She’d been extremely lonely while on the run and being back with Mason was very nice. It was… Easy.

Jacey listened to him speak, the smile growing on her face as he finished. “Mason that’s amazing!” She leaned up and pressed a small kiss onto his cheek, resting her head back on his shoulder when she was done. “Mmm tell me your plans.”

Jacey Dizzario snuggled closer towards Mason. "I think it sounds fabulous. Being able to see you every day?" She laughed quietly. "Amazing. But uh…” She thought about what she wanted to say, wording it carefully. “So… I don’t know if you know Dom, but he practically runs Gambit’s. He and I are friends and he gives me this room for free to keep me out of trouble. If you want you uh…” She coughed, tensing slightly. “You could always just stay here.” Her cheeks turned a light shade of pink as she avoided his eyes.
