Description

Image
Hair color: Black
Eyes color: Green
Height: Five foot one
Weight: 110
Age: Twenty

Personality

Stubborn and childish, Jacey will most likely stick her tongue out at you/punch you in the shoulder when she is commanded. A sarcastic sense of humor leaves her seeming bitter and rather angry inside. She enjoys sticking her nose in other people's business and offering advice, even when it isn't wanted. If you are looking for a pity party, get the hell away. She isn't your therapist and she damn well doesn't want to be.

Equipment

Weapons: Whatever she can steal from your pockets.

History

Jacey was abandon in an Ally-way at the age of four in Chicago, Illinois. A group of thugs attempted to beat and kill the little girl, but hardly got past raising their fists when mob boss Tommy Dizzario stumbled upon them. After scaring away the thugs, he brought the child ‘home’ with him. His fellow mob members didn’t understand why he’d saved her, but Tommy had a plan. He’d train the kid on the ways of the mob and leave someone to take his place after he died. Tommy taught Jacey how to defend herself, how to survive, and most importantly: never trust anyone. Jacey’s first kill was when she was ten years old and from there on she killed constantly. She craved her father’s approval more than anything in the world.

Growing up, Jacey was respected in the mob circle because of her father's position. However, when Tommy died when Jacey was 15, the people she’d seen as family suddenly turned against her because she was officially the new Mob Boss. Rumor around the streets is that the mob is still looking for her all these years later for reasons unknown.

So begins...

Jacey Dizzario sighed, frowning at Anja. "I'm sorry for making you feel guilty. I just… I just want to help.” Jacey fought the urge to lean down and smoother Anja in a big hug, knowing she’d only end up hurting her. “What are you going to do? Where… Where are you going to go?”

Jacey Dizzario smiled at Anja, the expression looking foreign after frowning for so long. "I hate to just leave, but I need to have to bolt.” She let her eyes sweep across the room for a moment, finding no problems. “I’ll see you around, okay?” She touched Anja’s head gently for a minute before smiling at the woman and the child. “It was lovely to meet you. Hopefully I’ll see you on better terms.” Jacey gave a tired chuckle before strolling out the doors.

Jacey Dizzario stumbled into the bar, eyes sweeping around the room. She frowned at the fact that no one she was close with was around, but made her way to the bar counter anyways. Plopping down with a sigh, she cast her eyes around once more. "Good lord, where is everyone?"

Jacey Dizzario glared at Vampiric-Lust. "I find using the term 'faggots' offensive in that way." HEr lips curled down into a frown as she spun to face the girl.

Jacey Dizzario raised an eyebrow. "Well, still. It's derogatory and just plain rude!" She sniffed and turned back to the bar counter. People these days! Wasn’t there a time where faggot meant a cigarette? What a society they lived in.

Jacey Dizzario glanced at Cory Lovejoy, shooting a grin her way. “Oh? I didn’t know that.” A chuckle escaped her grinning lips as she turned to face Cory fully. “You think children would know how to respect that word or at least use it properly. She just called those people a bunch of sticks,” Jacey murmured to her new neighbor. “Anywho, m’name is Jacey no-last-name. Pleasure to meet you.” The twenty-year-old shoved her hand towards Cory in the universal sign of a handshake.

Jacey Dizzario smiled, not really caring at the confusion of her name. At Cory’s next words, Jacey burst into a fit of giggles. After a few moments of trying to get herself together, Jacey replied, “Yeah. Almost every bloke who walks in wants to take over the world, Cory. I’ve only met one guy with World Domination not on the brain and he kept hitting on me.” She shrugged but stared curiously at the girl next to her. “Why?”

"Are you now? Can I ask why you plan on taking over the world? Not that I'm opposed or anything -- the world's already gone to shit anyways - but why? You seem like such a…” Jacey glanced up and down the girl’s body. “Seem too nice. But then again, evil things come in nice packages.” When Cory had a random fit, Jacey leaned forward, eyes worried. “You alright? That looked like an intense coughing fit.”

Jacey Dizzario raised her eyebrows. "Your terminal I - ” she was cut off as the bubbly girl kept going. When the girl was finished, Jacey frowned. “Suicide? Why would you want to kill yourself? And why would you want to destroy the world if you love it so much? Wouldn’t letting it thrive be a smarter plan?” Her tone wasn’t condescending or sarcastic, simply curious. “I mean, if the Earth is so amazing, you should want it to keep going on long after your…” she searched for a kinder word for death. “Your passing.”

Jacey Dizzario stared at Cory, dumbstruck. This girl had an interesting view on the world. It wasn’t a bad view, per say, but a rather naive one. “I’d like to believe the world is a good place but I’ve seen too much hatred and death. The world might be an okay place, but it is nowhere near the haven you make it sound like.” She smiled sadly, but raised an eyebrow at the girl’s mention of a man. “Who is Sage? He sounds like an interesting fellow. And you’re only nineteen? But you seem so… wise.” She shrugged.

Jacey Dizzario stared at the strangely shaped glass object, confusion clear on her features. “You mean he… Died? And you talk to him through…” Jacey glanced up at Cory. “You talk to him through a glass boxy thingy? That can’t be very enjoyable.”

She returned her gaze back to the tetrahedron. It was a strange little thing, indeed. She was tempted to reach out and touch it, but she wasn’t stupid. The thing could be deadly to anyone but it’s creator or something. A sudden thought struck her. “How the hell did you make that thing anyways?”

Jacey Dizzario noted the blush spreading across Cory's cheeks but didn't comment on it. She nodded slowly as the younger girl explained what the box was. “I… I kind of get it.” She stared down at the box with a puzzled frown. “That’s weird. How does it help with the illness?” Jacey supposed there was some sort of magical healing power in the thing, but wasn’t completely sure.

Jacey Dizzario stared blankly at Cory. "He - He gave you his spirit?" She didn't know this was possible, but this was Gambit's. She'd seen stranger things after all. “It’s killing and saving you at the same time? Jesus.” Jacey didn’t really know what to say. What do you say to someone who is dying? ‘Oh that sucks. So how about the weather today?’ You just couldn’t do that kind of shit.

Following Cory’s glance, Jacey connected eyes with William Rhodes. She felt irritation sweep through her. What the hell was she, an animal at the petting zoo? Who just stared at people? “Can I help you?” she remarked smoothly; one dark eyebrow raising.

Jacey Dizzario nodded, a small smile spreading across her face. “Sure. If Cory doesn’t mind, that is.” She glanced over to the girl in question. “I’m Jacey.” She held her small hand out in the universal sign of a handshake. “Sorry for being a bitch, but I kind of freaked when I saw someone staring at me.” Jacey’s lips tugged up into a wide smile, showing she really was sorry.

She turned back to Cory. “So tell me… What are your plans for taking over the world? It sounds like you have this pretty well thought out.”

Jacey Dizzario nodded. "Sounds like a good plan. I mean, eventually you'll meet people looking to take over the world too. Are you going to go around asking people if they want to destroy the Earth or just wing it?” Jacey yawned quietly, realizing she was kind of tired. She shoved the sleepy feelings away and turned to William.

“She plans to take over the world if you didn’t guess already. She also loves the world, which is why she is going to take over the world. Good luck getting that logic.” Jacey chuckled before facing Cory again.

Jacey Dizzario smirked, green eyes dancing. "Ah, see? I'm a mystery. It takes a lot of work to uncover my many secrets and hidden past. I lure you in with my secrecy.” Jacey laughed to herself, leaning back in her chair as another yawn escaped her lips. She could feel the exhaustion in her bones and her eyelids drooping.

“It was lovely to meet you both but I’m extremely tired… I think I might head to bed.” She smiled at Cory. “I hope to see you again soon so we can discuss your plans more in depth! Maybe I could help you out.” She turned to William. “I didn’t get to know you very well, but maybe I’ll see you around?” Jacey then turned on her heel and headed up the stairs leading to Gambit’s Hotel room floor, her dark hair flying behind her.

Jacey Dizzario stumbled down the stairs leading from Gambit’s Hotel, eyes focused on the ground below her feet in order to stop herself from completely tripping and eating it down the stairs. A moment later she was hurrying across the room to plop down onto her favorite bar stool.

“Oi, what can I getcha?” asked one of the ‘tenders.

Jacey glanced up at him and shot him a small smile. “Just a coke, please.” He nodded and ran off to get the ordered drink. While he was fetching the coke, she took the opportunity to glance around the crowded bar for anyone she might know.

Jacey Dizzario smiled up at Baxter Cornelius, sipping at her coke. "Thank you." She handed over the correct amount of money. Her eyes went back to roaming around the bar. Still, no one she knew. She had been hoping she would see Anja to know how she was doing… But apparently not.

Jacey Dizzario shrugged at his words, a smile still on her face. "I suppose not. Well I mean - " An Irish voice carried across the room and Jacey froze, eyes spinning to stare at Kazen. Her heart gave the normal flutter it always did around him, but anger soon squashed any happy feelings she’d felt at seeing him. Her mind jumped back to a broken Anja sitting by the fireplace in a wheelchair, eyes haunted. Jacey shuddered at the image. She didn’t want to see anyone like that again.

Turning back to Baxter Cornelius, Jacey offered him an apologetic smile. “Sorry buddy, I have something I need to do…” She stood up and hurried over to Kazen’s side, eyes wide. “Where have you been? I haven’t seen you in ages…” Jacey trailed off, her eyes drifting over to the girl in all purple currently on Kazen’s back. “Uh hey,” she murmured quietly to the girl before focusing back on Kazen.
