Jess Star's Story
Jess Star quickly pushed the door to the bar open checking over her shoulder as if she was being chased, she breathed a sigh of relief and walking towards the counter, she didn't have sheath's for her blades as she never had put them down, she blinked as she realised she was in a bar, a place she was never seen dead in, "Is there a Barkeep?" she asked to the other patrons within the establishment.
Jess Star smiled coldly to Astaroth, "Your voice is somewhat Amusing Might I say." she mocked him, she simply shook her head at the lunatic jumping through the window, "You can't use a Door I presume." she stated coldly to VIII, "Or are you just incapable?" she glared before swinging herself over the counter and grabbing a small glass of Apple Juice.
Jess Star "But if the window was Boarded up and the roof was brick what would your point of entry be then hm?" she asked VIII knowing he would most probably say the door, she simply sipped her juice and looked him over, he seemed like the kind of man who was built for military purposes only, "May I offer yourself a Drink?" she asked him.
Jess Star "I see you are not of a Human Basis am I right?" she asked questioning the NanoSoldier, "Your answer isn't quite correct, if the use of Remote explosives were to be used what would you do if they did not happen to work or you did not seem to have any on your Person?" she asked him walking over with her Juice in hand, "Star." she smiled coldly offering the same temperature hand.
Jess Star shook her head, "You do not think Logically like an Assassin should, I will give you a Logic Puzzle solve it and I wont ask any more questions." she smiled seating herself opposite the 'Mechanical Man'.
Jess Star "Two planes take off at the same exact moment. They are flying across the Atlantic. One leaves New York and is flying to Paris at 500 miles per hour. The other leaves Paris and is flying to New York at only 450 miles per hour, because of a strong head wind. Which one will be closer to Paris when they meet?" she quizzed him smiling at him.
Jess Star "H..How did you know I..I wanted that answer?" she said looking stunned at him, "I need to work on my logic questions.." she mumbled before realising he asked for a prize, "Your prize is that I wont kill you." she smile coldly before standing and walking back over to the bar. 'How could he have known I was talking about the targets also..' she thought her face didn't show it but she was quite confused at his reply.
Jess Star sighed, she had never been beaten in a logic test not ever, "You may believe that to be true but I have never failed a mission to kill a target no matter their age or gender." she explained to the man before standing and downing her juice, "I feel like grabbing one for the road." she smiled backing away from the bar and vaulting over it as she vaulted she grabbed her blades incase they were taken. As she landed she took the bottle of Apple juice and lay twelve gold coins under the bar as payment for the bottle, she climbed back over the bar and walked out of the bar bottle and blades in hand.
Jess Star pushed the door open quietly as not to grab anyone's attention, her swords were both lowered as not to pose a threat to anyone who deemed her so, her black hair was simply slung over her right shoulder and her pale blue eyes scanned the bar for a person to converse with when she found nobody she sighed and walked to the bar looking at the person who was sat upon it, "Are you the Barkeep?" she asked the man her eyes scanning him for weapons.
Jess Star "A Simple Apple juice will Suffice." she smiled coldly, she never knew how to smile without the coldness of her heart, "This doesn't seem like the kind of place someone like you would come to.." she said observing his white hair, "You seem to be out of place within this establishment." she observed not smiling at him.
Jess Star "Oh." she said not really interested in what brought him here, "I'm sorry I can't say it's a business matter." she stated as she took the drink and sipped it the coldness not really affecting her already cold hands.
Jess Star "Fine by me." she glared at him her pale blue eyes piercing through him, "Mind you most men are the same." she whispered coldly, she had never liked men since a bad encounter with one who claimed to be her brother, she simply shot him down and walked away, "You should think before you act." she stated not even laughing at the man's failed attempt.
Jess Star "there is one thing I like to read and that is my paycheck." she smirked evilly, "May I enquire as to you name?" she asked him wondering if he was her target, "I seem to have seen your face before but I can't quite put a name to it.." she lied to him, she put a finger to her mouth as if in thought.
Jess Star "Place in life?" she frowned not understanding him, "No, Your definitely not who I thought you were sorry to waste your time." she shook her head smiling coldly at him as she went to sit at a table away from him.
Jess Star "What?" she asked him her face showing she didn't know what he was on about, "I'm a girl with a Business meeting not a Killer!" she gasped putting her swords ont he table, "They are for defence as my Client is prone to violence." she explained lying through her teeth.
Jess Star "Will you kindly lay your hands off it please." she asked him calmly, she a hand on her other sword in case he turned on her, "I would like it back as I can't leave this establsihment without them as they are not mine but my boss'." she stated softly.
Jess Star "no Please I can't l;eave here without it." she panicked she had never been threatened by a mystical being before, "Please can I have my blade back?" she asked him politely, she stood up trying to find a way to grab her sword without cutting herself.
Jess Star "Well, I may let you in a small secret." she mumbled happily taking he blade back, "I'm an Assasin and My Target, I began to think, was you." she whispered into his ear before seating herself back at the bar.
Jess Star "Well, Sorry but I can't waste my time with people like you." she said referring to Tex, "I apologise for anything I've said wrong but I must leave now." she stated picking her swords up and walking to the bar, "Can I have a bottle of Apple Juice Please." she asked HellShine.
