Lokran's Story

Boom...

Boom...Boom...Boom...

A steady, pacing rhythm that heralding heretofore unknown drama. A doom-driven Titan, advancing slowly from the west, trailing a cloud of smoke and fire in its wake. Slowly, achingly it advanced towards Wing City, its terrible footfalls breaking glass and shattering streets with every step.

He could smell his opponent near, an acrid, biting scent that preceded this age-old ritual that mortals dared not comprehend. The proper authorities were notified, and armies were mobilized, but it was too late. The scene was set.

Lokran was upon the city, and amidst the smoke and haze that followed his step, the giant, moving mountain reared up on and bellowed to the sky, a roar that evoked the power of a volcano erupting...

Lokran's fiery eyes blasted out immense heat as Jianto finally revealed itself. With a thundering explosion, it brought its immense fists down onto the ground, leveling two city blocks instantly. It began to charge, slow at first but then gaining startling momentum as its massive strides carried it careening towards the icy behemoth.

Reaching out with two flaming, mountainous fists, it would begin to try and grapple with Jianto, trying to wrap its stony hands around the other Titan's snapping jaws.

Boulders the size of cars fell from Lokran's gaping mouth as Jianto slashed and tore at his monolithic jaw. The stone titan reeled from the attack and shoved Jianto away from him with a mighty heave, fracturing countless roads underfoot and causing water jets from fire hydrants everywhere to surge up.

At that moment, a pair of fighter jets screamed into the fray and launched a series of cluster bombs at Lokran's back causing the mountain to spin around and smack the encroaching planes with frightening speed. Using its circular momentum, it snapped the top half of a nearby skyscraper asunder and chucked the building towards Jianto...

From the explosions and casualties dying a lone figure entered the fray. He ignored the icey reptile and instead leaping to the roof with a metal rope he ascended the giant building and then made he way toward Lokran. He jumped from boulder to boulder that fell and made his way up the giant beast. He had a smile on his face. This beast was made of rock. Using his metalbending he flicked his wrists toward the giant stone Titan and ascended toward the massive beast.

The stone giant's face twisted into a cruel sneer as it saw Jianto collapse into the landscape. It was in the middle of unleashing a challenging roar to the other Titan to get back on its feet when it was suddenly blasted with an explosion of ice to the face.

It sent the towering colossus tumbling back almost nine blocks, its granite feet clawing up the pavement and roads as it skidded to a halt. With a searing hiss as steam rose from its half-frozen face, it drove its monumental fists into the ground, causing a long fiery fissure to split open and rocket towards the debris flung by Jianto.

The resulting explosion flattened four sky scrapers and three medium neighborhoods. Smoke and dust filled an area almost a mile in diameter, and there was silence for a moment.

Then, one would hear a faint howling and look up to see Lokran plummeting towards earth, seeking to pile drive its full weight in Jianto, having used the smoke as a cover for a skyrocketing leap...

Lokran himself was not unharmed by the all-or-nothing attack. Slowly, heavingly, it dragged itself back onto its massive feet, clutching its fractured head that was bleeding magma.

In its disoriented state, it didn't see Jianto's tail whipping under its leg, tripping the behemoth once more onto its back side. The military capitalized on this to unleash a direct artillery barrage into its shoulder, rock and magma flying in every direction as Lokran's howls, akin to an earthquake, shattered the smokey sky.

Lokran itself was not without its own terrible breath weapon. Regaining its wind as the military was scattered like so many pebbles, it lurched back onto its feet with a thundering boom.

Hunkering down on all fours, Lokran inhaled deeply, the rives of magma on its back flaring up into a veritable eruption before the beast exhaled a cacophonous river of molten rock and fire at The Jianto, the earth around it trembling with the might of the blast.

Amidst the glacial fallout of Jianto's own powerful ice-beam, giant, fiery fissures would crack open in the earth, causing a landscape of absolute chaos and beauty as the mortal battle raged.

Now it was a war of endurance...

Lokran seemed surprised by his foe's sudden retreat, the gout of burning hot magma dwindling to a slow dribble from its gaping jaw. It stood up tall and widened its stance, stretching its arms wide and letting out another loud roar.

A moment passed where there was almost peace between the two megalithic monstrosities.

It was soon broken by the thunderous sound of charging mountains as Lokran once more barreled towards his icy foe, regardless of whatever traps or trickery may have awaited...

And head on Lokran came, barreling straight into the ice blasts fired forth by Jianto. The attack hit Lokran straight in the face, and though the damage was not immediately apparent, the effect was. Blinded, Lokran tripped over an elevated monorail track and skidded face first into the river just short of the Wing City gardens.

Its mountainous form sizzled and rumbled as Lokran tried to reorient itself. After a painstaking minute that felt like an eternity, the Stone Giant cleared its eyes and glowered at the Glacial Dragon.

Then, with a low, rumbling growl, it turned and trudged off in the direction it had come. The battle was over...the result...who knows how such things are decided in the minds of the Titans?

A small child watched in terror at the two mega-behemoths fighting before her very eyes. She held a small teddy bear in hand and her grip tightened around its waste as she held it close to her only to sob and cry loudly wishing her parents were still with her. It was a miracle that the girl had even survived for as long as she did while in the midst of all this chaos created by the two creatures. She was however not alone and as a pair of arms rapped themselves around the girl a calm mechanical voice that soon followed behind those actions. "Relax kid. I'm going to get you out of this mess." Adair simply gripped her tightly and jumped out of the mess beneath him leaping up to a few buildings still standing and landing just on the 23rd floor of a corporate building only to launch himself again a bit higher as to get to a roof near by.

Adair brought up his free hand to the side of his helm, accessing the holo-computer in his visor, and began calling on all channels to any available law enforcement and military that was still around.

"My name is Adair Foux and I require assistance! Wing City is under threat of total destruction and an evacutation must be put into action now along with the assistance of any and all military personal. I require all emergency organizations to get their asses moving!"

With that said the armored figure leaped once again only to land just a few blocks away from all of the destruction just to set the child down next to an ambulance that had stopped. "Get her to safety and get your asses moving." It was all he could do as he reached his heavy blaster repeater and switched it on only to smile as he heard the hum of the power conduits charge past their safety limits. The sound of the ambulance taking off with the child was also reassuring and maybe soon some backup would arrive in order to help clean up this mess.

Gabriel Ereb, aboard a private jet, skimmed through several files on his tablet. There were numerous schematics depicting everything from weapons to spaceship parts.
