Personality
Pandora is always of a curious nature, exploring strange new things, and being friendly with people of a curious nature like herself. She knows not everybody accepts her, but she doesn't need everyone to. She is a proud panda woman!
History
Pandora does not remember alot of her childhood, only knowing that she was born in a remote jungle village in japan, before she was captured and sold as a side show attraction. That lasted only until she was one, then she was rescued by activists who took her to an orphanage, and raised there until the legal age. Her life has been hard, but she has come out the bright and happy woman she is today.
So begins...
Pandora Panda's Story
Pandora Panda walked into Gambits, the bottoms of her wooden sandals clacking against the floor as she stashed her brush away in her bag. She wore khaki short shorts, and a white, midrif baring t-shirt, showing off her athletic form very nicely. The panda girl blinked large, sparkling blue green eyes, adjusting one of the bands of dried grass with fresh tropical flowers weaved into the design the ringed around her black rounded ears... She had not been here before, she must have made a wrong turn. She had been going to the spa... Hmm, should she leave or just enjoy this place? It was empty, for now... was it usually like this? So many questions, but that was what Pandora did best!
Pandora had seated herself at the bar comfortably, filed nails narrowly avoiding tapping the screen as she ordered herself some milk, and a simple garden salad. Her head turned as soon as she heard the door open, oh! Another person! Her eyes blinked several times at the sight of Abe, blue green orbs widening slightly. What... the heck was he?! He had... weird things on his head! She stared, unashamed. Curious... She was a strange sight herself in these parts. She was a panda girl, in a city with likely no others of her kind... she was a rarety as the creature itself these days. Out of common curtosy she waved, waving a black hand at him.
Pandora had a feeling he was in great thought at the sight of her, certain small gestures... she had come to read them well, and it was important to do so. One signalled possible trouble at encountering her, another meant nothing too drastic. You wouldn't believe the different reactions people had sometimes towards her. Once, she had actually been tackle hugged by a couple of five years olds who assumed she was some sort of living toy... She watched as Abe headed for the restroom, noting the paleness and she looked concerned, leaning a little out of her seat. Was he okay? Just seeing the palness made her feel like placing a black hand to her bare white stomach. She watched him go, before turning back to the counter, deciding to slip out a small shoot of bamboo, to nibble on. She was content then, faint coloring touching her cheeks under her fur as she munched. Oh a small snack wouldn't hurt before she had her salad~ And until that stranger returned.
Pandora glanced over as Abe returned, face turning a little redder under the faint coat of black and white fur. She slid the bamboo shoot back into her carrier bag out of mild emberassment, then fetched out her wallet as her meal arrived. She paid for the milk and salad, eyes glancing at Abe again... The way he stared at her like she was such a curious thing, and, considering she was a panda girl, she was indeed strange... out of the norm for this place. She looked around, but her eyes seemed to work their way back to him every so often. Her curiousity was clear, the way her eyes looked over certain things, like his arms, his tentacles, oh the tentacles. They were so very strange...
Pandora smiled kindly again, she seemed very friendly and sweet, her voice a bit song song as she spoke. ¨Good evening~! What brings you here? What are you? O-Oops, sorry, that is rude of me!¨ Questions, questions, questions! He was just so... interesting looking! She didn't know what to ask when, there were so many jostling through her brain trying to reach the surface to be asked! Her ears bent slightly, causing the rings of dried grass to move a little, the heady scent of the flowers wafting a little towards Abe. They were bright and orange, a touch yellow towards the center... surely an exotic flower, but not quite as exotic as Pandora herself.
Pandora was ordering her food to go as he spoke, feeling terribly guilty as she did so. ¨Well, I think you are stange. I know I am! I have never seen someone like you before! And I do hope I can meet you again sometime, I feel bad that I have to rush off!¨ She gathered her bag, waiting for her boxed food to arrive.
Pandora Panda made her way into Gambit's for what felt like the first time. She had come here once before, and the place seemed so lively this time! The panda girl looked around with wide blue-green eyes, mouth open in an O of surprise. Her wooden sandals clacked against the floor as she moved to a bar stool, the busty young woman dressed in a v-neck t-shirt that ended above her mid-rif, and short shorts with her tail sticking out through a slot in the back. She looked like a girl ready to party, but in truth, Pandora was a good girl.
Pandora sat down and looked at Zekil, smiling brightly at him as her ears wiggled a little, the woven wreathes with flowers in them around her ears moving a little, letting off a small perfumed scent of the exotic flower... ¨Hmmm... water please?¨ she asked, before reaching into her purse and pulling out a bamboo shoot, chewing on it cutely.
Pandora Panda, after an unexplained disappearance from the bar last night, came walking into the bar as if she had not been there the night before. She wore flip flops, a short skirt, and a form fitting t-shirt that bared her midriff. She always seemed to dress to catch the eye, though honestly it was just because she disliked clothes. The less, the better~ Not like she needed those clothes to gather attention, how often did you see a panda girl in any corner of this city?
Pandora smiled innocently at the bartender known as Zekil, ears tuning towards his words. "Water please, and oh, sorry about leaving last night without paying! Here's the money for it~" She took out the money for the drink she had ordered, her blue green eyes were always so descriptive, it was clear she was REALLY sorry.
Pandora saw the man thrown through the window and instantly looked worried. She wasn't acting like what some would assume a girl like she appeared to would. She didn't scream and run, she didn't hide from the sight. She was genuinely worried for someone she didn't even know! "Oh goodness! Is he going to be okay, should I call an ambulance?"
Pandora nodded, getting out of her seat and heading over to the bleeding stranger, grabbing a nearby cloth off the shelf and began to tear strips. She used her teeth, very well cared for and sharp enough to be useful....
Pandora wrapped the injury, she was so worried. She never saw someone hurt like this... Well, she had, but it had been too horrible she had repressed it... "Please stay with us, it will be okay, okay?" she said, touching Ryuu's cheek, as if trying to let him know someone was there. Why did people hurt each other so...?
Pandora snapped out of her thoughts at Zekil's words, and with a small nod she picked Ryuu up in her arms, and carefully set him down on Chaun, trying not to shake. "I-I hope he'll be okay..." she said, stepping back.
Pandora watched them go, still in shock by it all, her clothes covered with blood from picking him up. Once they were gone, and she came back to reality, she moved out of the bar to clean up....
Pandora returned in a fresh change of clothes, her fur a bit frizzy from her shower. She wore a tube top and a pair of short shorts, glad to be changed... She had her head down, she didn't want to look up, she didn't want to see anything else like that.
Pandora jerked as if he had screamed at her, stopping dead in her tracks. "A-Ah, sorry, sorry~!" She saw the blood and looked away, once again worrying if the kid would be okay. Too many people hurt children, too many...
Pandora sat down, reaching into her purse to pull out some bamboo to munch. She was awefully quiet then, something inside was bothering her... There was something familiar about that scene, but so very different at the same time...
