Description

The Angel of Deceit

Name:....
Aliases:Pawn, Scott Mitchellson, The Multiversal Sociopath
Race:Fallen Angel of Knowledge
Height:6'4"
Weight:235lbs
Sign: Libra

Character-Type: Critical
Tier-Level: High

Description: It doesn't take a genius to know that Pawn has been through his fair share of battles. He is covered in scars, and hasn't a single hair on his otherwise well-toned body. His teeth are razor-sharp, and his eyes are nothing but blood-red, vertical slits. Not slitted eyes. Just slits. As in no pupil, no sclera, no iris, no nothing but two slits, and a nose that's so flat it resembles a snakes. His casual wear consists of nothing but hospital-scrub pants, enjoying the comfort they provide during his 'alone time'.

When embarking on a mission however, Pawn wears a black, full-body suit, leaving nothing but the hostile glow of his slitted, red eyes. Though the suit appears to be skin-tight it is capable of 'unfolding' into a thick armor that fits just neatly enough around his body as to avoid clunkiness. In addition, the suit is filled with multiple slots that contain the vast majority of small weapons, kunai, shuriken, needles, and various other items of a miscellaneous nature. The suit is capable of utilizing a type of EM-camouflague, bending the light around his body to hide him from view. It also dampens any energy he may be emitting to avoid detection from anyone attempting to look for him.

Personality: Pawn is a father-rapin', ass-smashin', uncough son of a bitch, whose schadenfreude is only the beginning of his bludgeoning upon those he deems inferior. To put it bluntly: he's a multiversal sociopath who doesn't have any qualms about leveling a few cities, or using a buddy as a human-shield, if that's what it takes to get what he wants. He's beaten, mamed, captured and tortured his former brethren that were stupid enough to and try following him out of Heaven--deciding to keep them alive, if only because they would simply be revived by the big man and come after him again.

He doesn't believe in humanity, he doesn't believe in his brothers and sisters, and he sure as shit doesn't believe in just sitting around bitching about it. Everything around him seems all too fake; humans, demons, other deities, and various other entities throughout the multiverse. He remains loyal to one person, who is ironically a human, simply because he doesn't try to hide what he truly is, but rather embraces it.

History: In Heaven Pawn was depicted as an Angel of Knowledge, a race of angels created by God that were created for the sole purpose of governing human-thought and development, as well as any and all information that would lay stored in Heaven's records. After deciding he didn't like the way God was running things, he sided with Lucifer, which was -- in reality -- a deception in and of itself. Biding his time, Pawn waited for the right moment to make his escape, slaying countless angels along the way before ultimately taking a plunge out of Heaven and onto Earth where he would wait. However, his landing was not a pleasant one. He was nearly obliterated from existence by the tidal forces of the still-developing planet, and so chose to send his body into a comatose state, surrounded by a powerful field of raw energy to protect himself with.

It was only after thousands of years of slumber that Pawn was discovered wandering helplessly throughout the mines of what was currently feudal Japan, his body an emaciated husk of what it once was, and his memory lost along with his identity and who he used to be. For reasons unknown, Pawn was brought to a temple hidden high up in the mountains where he was gradually nursed back to health. As it turned out, it was the scars littering his body that proved to be of great interest to the master of this land, and so he found use in fallen angel.

He was to be trained rigorously in the art of the ninja, acquiring knowledge on how to fight, how to disguise oneself, and how to deceive all around him. As a former Angel of Knowledge it didn't take much for him to learn the many skills they possessed, for gathering information and then utilizing that info for the betterment of humanity and his brethren, which was his original task, so it was only natural that the role fit him perfectly. He learned how to master supernatural abilities known as jutsus, and gradually, albeit subconsciously integrated them into the vast arsenal of power he already possessed.

After twenty years of training, Pawn had already mastered his newfound abilities, and was worshipped like a deity--something that angered the Father and his children. As such hundreds of angels were dispatched to hunt down the fallen one and kill him in cold blood for the sins he had supposedly committed. They failed horribly. While at first Pawn merely killed them, eventually his memories began to flood back, and that's when he truly began put his skills to the test.

Ninjas are brutally efficient in creating traps, torture and interrogation, and that's exactly what he began doing to his kin. As was his former role, he was smarter than they and easily succeeded in slaughtering them entirely; slaughter as in annihilate from existence altogether so that the Father would not be stupid enough to revive them. Yet... despite the brutal slaughter of countless kin, Pawn was still hell-beant on completing his original task.

As humanity progressed, so too did Pawn's weapons, and way of thinking. He began to observe the way society functioned, taking notes of the way they chose to govern themselves, as well as how they treated their fellow man. And frankly... he was disgusted by it; mindless bickering over subtle differences in ideas, which lead to mindless destruction and mindless war. They made movies to depict the history of war, they created video-games about war; they waged war on a local and international scale; from the slums of the Middle-East, to jungles of South America; from dropping bombshells on Pearl Harbor to dropping Atomic ones on Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

They created parodies of it, made fun of it, they mocked the slow, and agonizing decay of their world, and worshipped the ones who gave a shit enough to actually get up and do something about it. In every sense of the word, he saw them as nothing more than parasites: people that fed off whatever was given them, and couldn't care less about the repercussions of piling their plates too high up. They said they cared, but did they ever stop to actually do anything? Not once. Instead, they simply ignored it and went about their daily lives, leaving it to the next generation after them to clean up the mess.

What the fuck was God working on for fourteen billion years?! To his brothers and sisters, everything was just fine and dandy, because for them, it was like looking under a microscope at all the tiny, insignificant creatures. But, how could one ever truly sympathize, let alone empathize with what it was like to live among them--what it was like to actually be one of them? It was impossible to do so, unless they chose to go down there, and experience the life for themselves, and that was very real possibility. It was something they tried on occasion, but inevitably failed at due to history of being control-freaks: a perfect image of their King.

This left Pawn with a very bitter taste in his mouth, but rather than try to fix it by force, he decided on doing the next best thing: join them--find someone that he could use as a way of gathering information until the time was right. He would act as the proverbial computer-virus, drifting harmlessly through cyberspace, until just the right person came browsing along, clicked, and downloaded all that he had to offer. Of course, this wouldn't last forever, nor did it until he came across a man by the name of Ron Jackson. A man who would one day, earn the respect of the hostile sociopath: a smooth-talking, silver-tongued, well-buillt southern gent who was as tough as nails, and ten times craftier than The Prince of Darkness, himself.

Instead of cracking open Ron, Ron cracked open Pawn, and figured him out faster than a hound sniffing out drugs, and made it painfully clear that he knew it the whole time. Rather than trying to kill him however, he uttered out a few short sentences. "Ah'm a bad man Pawn--a bad man workin' wit' whatever bullshit gets tossed in mah direction. Don't try t' change the world, 'cause the world won't change, and nor will anythin' else for that matter. All y'can do is rearrange the position of yer chess pieces." "Pawns in a game, eh?" "Yes, indeedy. Pawns in a game that y'better hope y'don't lose."

Equipment Chameleon-Suit:When Pawn decided that producing avatars of himself would only serve to weaken him, he resorted to inventing this technological masterpiece that keeps his true identity hidden without the needed effort of magic, greatly reducing any chance of detection.

The chameleon suit is composed of a black, synthetic nano-structure that mimics the outline of his physiognomy, and folds over itself enough times to act as an extremely durable armor. As the name implies, it can mimic the color, texture, and overall external appearance of anything Pawn could possibly imagine. It is also equipped with a type of EM-stealth that bends the light around him, and also serves to dampen his energy signature by smothering it with constant interference, leaving him moderately vulnerable to enemy assaults. On the flip-side, when stealth is deactivated, the sigil embedded deep within the suit's core acts as an amplifier to his already existing power.

The suit is also filled with various slots holding the vast majority of Pawn's weapons, ranging from small-arms, to explosives capable of leveling whole city blocks. (7)

H.F.N&T Altogether, Pawn has three high-frequency blades, two of them being ninjatos magnetically clung to his back, and a tanto behind his waist. They're designed to produce a frequency so intense, that it quite literally shakes apart the molecules of whatever its cutting through. This can range from powerful armor to beam-weaponry, making it just that much more lethal. In addition, Pawn has engraved several runes onto their surface as to channel his power through them. (7)

Egg-Shell Bombs: Unlike your traditional egg-shells that were filled with metal dust, and varying spices, Pawn's are filled with a variety of things. They could range from a swarm of nanites designed to jam communication signals, to micro-cameras that he may use to spy on a surrounding area with. In addition they are equipped with microbombs designed for strategic demolition and will go off at Pawn's mental whim, so be sure to hold your breath when fighting him, 'less you want to watch yourself slowly fall apart. (7)

Shurikens, Wires, Needles: Pawn carries an assortment of needles and shurikens in various slots located all over his suit. Pawn has engraved every last one of them with runes that will cause the weapons to detonate with enough force to level half a city block. Wires on the other hand are actually interlaced into the fabric of his suit, and can be used to set up complex traps for unsuspecting foes, as well as to channel his energy throughout them should they make an attempt at escaping. (6)

The Glutton: The Glutton is a silver .50 caliber handgun that fires bullets baring the symbol of two tongues on each side. When fired, the two tongues begin to glow a bright white, sucking matter, energy, and physical material into a concentrated point, before violently exploding. (8)

Wrist-Mounted Double-Barreled Coil-Guns: The weapon 2x6 rectangular box is connected to a sub-space repository holding all of Pawn's .60 caliber ammunition's rnanging from your standard run-of-the-mill bullets to slugs, incendiary rounds, magic-depleting runes for when he doesn't feel like engaging a mage in the traditional sense. If you get hit by one of these, your body is going all over the place, and if a tank gets hit it's going to explode. And that's very easy to do when the person aiming at you is a supernatural entity. (7)

Tiger-Claws: Retractable claws composed of an extremely dense metal. They can fit around Pawn's fingers and have combustible tips, should Pawn ever feel the need to become outright cruel to whoever he's fighting. They are also used as hook-shots, launching out and embedding themselves in whatever surface they strike, allowing Pawn to pull a Batman, provided the combustion tool is turned off. He also uses them as a method of climbing difficult to reach surfaces. (7)

[A]rtificial [D]ynamically [O]bjective [L]ife[F]orm: Or Adolf as Pawn has grown to call the creature is actually a member of the Agronians: earthen shape-shifters from the planet Soran. After successfully defeating the rock-golem, Pawn shattered its conscience with his own, and enslaved it, forcing it to bend to his every whim. He also cut off its mineral-absorption capabilities; leaving it no larger than a medium-sized dog. Its abilities are as follows:

Mimic: Normally Agronians are able to absorb any known mineral they come into contact with, but Pawn isn't willing to take the risk of it absorbing too much, and then breaking free of its enslavement. Thus -- it is only allowed to mimic whatever metal it comes into contact with, upon which it can recall that metal from past experience and change into it at any time.

Shape-Shifting: No real need to explain this, but liquid can take on any shape, and liquid metal is no different in the case of ADOLF. ADOLF may craft any part of its amorphous body into a weapon, ranging from blunt to sharp objects, and even expelling small fragments of itself in the form of needles, spears, what-have you.

Armor: When Pawn finds himself being overwhelmed, he can call upon ADOLF to wrap its liquid-metal form around his body, acting as a make-shift armor, fully capable of withstanding energy-based assaults, heavy artillery, and various other forms of attack on his person.

Communications-Jammer: Every member of the species are born with runes, that for unknown reasons seem to conduct all known energy-types, meaning they take in energy involuntarily. Unable to expel the energy in large doses however, ADOLF instead exerts just enough of said energy (electricity as an example) to overload any communications device it may come into contact with.

Hacking: Much of today's communication is done through electronic devices, ether-comms, and various other energy-types. Due to ADOLF's ability to latch onto any machine, it can use it runes to absorb any incoming packets of data, whether they be stored in electronic or ether-format, the runes do not discriminate. The only drawback to this, is that ADOLF is left defenseless in this state, and it cannot simply snatch data floating through the air. It HAS to be connected to a machine in some way or another, which means it has to somehow find out which machine to target, locate it, THEN begin to hack it. (8)

Techno-Assimilation: ADOLF can leak into any machine be it mech, tank ship or otherwise by spilling itself over onto the various wires, power-nodes etc that allow the weapon in question to receive the information that gives it its orders. ADOLF simply uses the runes it possesses to intercept whatever energy is being used to run the machine, then re-route it to the machine's other command centers, thereby exerting control over what orders it is given, and thus controlling what it does.Abilities

Genjutsu: A Genjutsu is an art that can involve moderate to intense concentration, utilizing the eyes and other various symbols. Should anyone look at these for long enough they will be trapped within an illusion that plays tricks on the senses, though completely unreal and cannot manifest themselves into the real world, some would mistake them for being just that: real. For Pawn it requires low-to-moderate concentration to execute this ability. No Genjutsu is ever the same, for Pawn prefers to gather information on whoever he may be facing in combat then, proceed to create an illusion based off whatever personality quirks, or abilities they may have exhibited. More or less, Pawn uses these illusions to project a feeling of insecurity into his opponent's mind. (8)

Ninjutsu: Ninjutsu is the art of utilizing chakra, or life-force to produce artificial constructs, or energy-constructs that can be used for a variety of purposes, ranging from offense to defense, to healing and beyond. Pawn is an expert practitioner in this field of energy-usage and can very easily halt the flow of energy within a person's body simply by striking the right pressure-points, or smothering them with his own. If done too much, this can lead to the accelerated growth of plants, and other living organisms within the surrounding area, which includes, but is not limited to the four basic elements, which Pawn has learned to control through trial and error, as well as having to deal with countless other elementals throughout the multiverse--Arachi being the most notable. (8)

EM-Control In order to maintain such potent control over his chakra, as well as ADOLF, Pawn needed to learn how to properly manipulate the electromagnetic spectrum. This does not grant him any complex abilities such as honing in on an electron or proton and moving their positions around, but rather it allows him to properly manipulate the flow of chakra within his own body, as well as to interfere with the energy of others by producing artificial ley-lines. The other effect to this is simply being able to lash out violently with bursts of electricity, super-heated plasma, protons, or neutrons. (8)

Martial-Arts: It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Pawn knows how to throw down, but he is extremely skilled in Ninjutsu, Muay Thai, Karate, and Tae Kwon Do. (8)

Dimensional Travel: Due to being so well-acquainted with the physical and spiritual planes, this makes it incredibly easy for him to simply create a portal just by thinking about it, step into it, and be on his way to his destination.

Angel: Despite no longer being allowed within Heaven, Pawn is still fully capable of utilizing light-based magic to get him through any sticky situations that involve dealing with your run-of-the-mill punkass demons as he likes to call them. He will often times combine his knowledge of chakra with these innate abilities to perform incredibly complex procedures.(8)

Demon: Pawn is an intensely bitter entity, and as such is fully capable of utilizing dark-based magic. This power was realized when he made the descent into Hell to discover what had happened to all of the other fallen Angels, along with discovering the circle that he narrowly escaped being sent to as a result: Heresy. It produces the opposite effects of his chakra, causing quick decay in the natural, as well as the supernatural.(8)

Flight: He's a Fallen Angel. He can do it. (7)

Monster: As stated before, Pawn is an intensely bitter entity and as such, it's not a very good idea to piss him off. When his rage finally hits breaking point, his body starts to melt and he becomes an amorphous black mass, capable of shrugging off just about any attack and lunges back with equal or greater tenacity than ever before. In this state, his offense and defense isn't just stronger, he will actually make repeated attempts at consuming his foe in a purely physical sense. He's not out to steal any abilities -- he's out for blood and it’s as simple as that. (8)

Master of Disguise: Pawn is an expert at concealing his identity, and that's where Scott Mitchellson comes into the equation.

Scott is the big, bad man in the black suit and tie. He carries out whatever big business plans Ron may have for have in store for all the other crime syndicates, families, what-have you.

Description: He's tall, muscular, rugged-looking and handsome. He carries himself with the gait of a man who's got a lot of confidence and can easily back it up, which he's more than capable of doing. He has straight, black hair that extends just passed his forehead, baring a strong jaw, dark brown eyes, and a smile that hides every care in the world.

Personality: Scott is a smooth-talker through and through. He can convince anyone of anything, get any girl on any surface, and put a hole in your head if that's what's requested him. He's an expert at interrogation techniques, and will whoop your ass, if you start to get mouthy or try to act tougher than you really are. But, for the most part, he's a pretty nice guy. :)

Weapons:

Cash The Dead Rebel:[b] Probably the most deadly weapon in Pawn's arsenal, because it severely fucks with an opponent's ability to form any sort of strategy. Cash The Dead Rebel: a black, double-barreled, sawed off shotgun enchanted with a polarity spell. Every time its bullets hit something, the object is morphed into its polar opposite. This means if Scott were to take aim at a lake, and fire off Cash, the bullets' polarity spell would activate, causing the entire lake to go up in a blazing inferno and vice versa. Pawn once fired this weapon off in space-triggering a soundwave so intense, and wide-spread that he actually had to retreat into a sub-pocket of space in order to avoid having his body be shaken apart, by Cash's devastating polarity effect.(8)

[b]Desert-Eagle:
.50 calibers of mage-killing anti-magic. The bullets are embedded with the same runes that ADOLF carries, sucking out the magical energy that surrounds a mage when attacking or defending. The real magic to this bullet is that it contains the energy stored within and plows it right back into the mage with the same devastating power. (8)

Gold Watch: Scott's watch is capable of firing out a high-yield laser beam, used for cutting through whatever it comes into contact with. It's also equipped with a nice wire for choking people, a mini-cam, and even tells the time! (8)

Military Training: Pawn is a warrior through and through, and after observing the wars that humanity chose to engage themselves in, he began practicing the art of CQC, though not using it himself, he saves that quirk for Scott. (8)

Transfer: Scott is still capable of using all of the abilities that Pawn is, as well as his weapons. He just hides them well with the help of ADOLF, that and his suit was just sewed together by some very crafty South Asians. He does try to keep them hidden through for the most part, preferring to use chakra-manipulation to temporarily stun or disable his opponents. (8)

So begins...
