Regina Barker snapped back a bit at the man's sudden anger towards her litter sister and was about to say a thing or two at him when up and left. She turned back to Joan and waved her hand at General Vladimir Kalashnikov's retreating form. "You see?! Do you see what I mean?"

Regina Barker sulked by the counter and waved over at Jamie. "Got a glass for this bottle of wine?" she asked, still looking rather angry. She didn't know why she took the offered drink... it could be laced with cyanide. "Maybe I want to be poisoned," she muttered under her breath, too low for anyone to really hear her.

nodded thanks to Jamie and waved her hand, dismissively. "If you have a gun on you... that would be lovely," she said, thinking of a certain man to point the barrel of a gun at.

Regina Barker had thanked Jamie for the glass and was now pouring her second glass of the wine. "Pretty good stuff... I suppose," she mumbled. She just wanted to sit at this bar and not go back home. Not worry about the trials in the future. Not worry about...

Her cell rang and she groaned as she looked down to see who was calling. "Mother." Flipping the phone open, she spoke in hushed words as her anger fell and was replaced silent dread.

was in mid-sentence in her conversation on her cell when a chill ran up her spine and she shivered at the sudden change in the bar. She turned her head and her eyes nearly popped out at the sight of the ghostly apparition. "Yeah... mom? I'm gonna... call you back." Her attention turned back to Joan as she instinctively went for her gun at her side. If it was there. 'I left it at home... didn't I,' she scolded herself. She was an awesome cop, wasn't she?

Regina Barker could only watch the ghostly soldier in... awe? Horror? Maybe a mix of the two. She looked around and realize that no one was really affected by what was going on. "Seriously? Is this real or am I seeing things?" she said to herself. "Damn... was it the wine?"

Regina Barker 's body was in alert mode as she backed away from the ghost and was going to exit right out of the bar with Joan when a voice sudden invaded her mind. "What the--?!" she yelled in a panic and hit her back against one of the stools, almost falling down to the ground.

Regina Barker was trying to figure out what she should do as she watched the ghost move around. He was in pain. That much she understood. "H-hey..." she called out but felt stupid doing so. "I think... I can help? Maybe?"

"Gahhh!" Regina twitched a bit and pointed at the ghost, eyes wide in disbelief. "Uh... yes... maybe... I think?" she stuttered and kept a healthy distance away from him but was still somewhat close.

Regina Barker was not expecting the shattering sound and clamped her hands over her ears. It was all in her head but it still hurt like hell! "Arrrgh! Ok ok! Enough of that! I'll help you!" she shouted and glared at the ghost. "This day is just getting better and better," she sighed.

Regina Barker was shocked at the sudden change and her body visibly twitched. "......... what just..." she started to say and stopped, staring at the remains of the ghost. "Did I hurt his feelings?"

Regina Barker 's eyes snapped back to her younger sister's scream and bolted from her seat. Coming to Joan's side, she stared down at Vladimir and steeled herself. No need for two women to panic. "Joanā€¦ honey, you need to move. Let me see him." She tried pulling her sister away to examine if the man was alive or not. With her fingers against his neck, she could feel a pulseā€¦ barely.

Regina Barker was staring at the man who was shot from behind and was amazed that he actually had the will to get right back up. Obviously, he was no ordinary man as it seemed that a small army came rushing to his aid from out of nowhere. "Listen up you," she told Vladimir as she stared at him. "I told you to treat my sister like a princess and you are doing a horrible job at it." She looked at the blood flowing freely before returning her gaze at him. "Look... you need help. Tell me what to do so Joan can stop crying, ok?"

Regina Barker raised a delicate eyebrow at the sudden burst of Russian thrown at her. Vladimir was clearly stressed out from before and she wondered why she had not picked up on itā€¦ at least to keep Joan from seeing this mess. "Listen hereā€¦" she said, her voice dangerously low so that Joan could not hear her. "I am not leaving this place until you go to Joan and at least quell her fears," she hissed at him. "She is going to have a hard time handling this later on and, trust me, it's going to be hell for herā€¦ so justā€¦ got talk to her." She stepped aside and called back to Joan. "I'll be waiting outsideā€¦" With that, Regina left her sister alone with the bloodied man.

Regina Barker pushed the door of the bar with her eyes already scanning across the room. 'Huh... it's quiet today...' she said to herself. Pulling her hair back, the rookie cop strolled over to the bar while rolling her shoulders a bit to work out the kinks from a day of hard work. 'Alright. Just get a drink and then be on your way. Let's hope nothing strange happens today...'

Regina Barker reached the bar and slumped down on the seat, suddenly realizing how tired she really was. "Oh man..." she sighed and folded her arms on the bar counter, leaning her head down on them. Closing her eyes, Regina was grateful that the bar was quiet, for now, and took the time to rest a little.

Regina Barker lifted her head and stared over at Alexandra Black, looking rather annoyed at the way she treated Tyar. 'Demanding little witch,' she said mentally. She hated it when other people think they can just treat others like trash but... she knew better than to interfere. All those lessons in the police academy were drilled into her head: 'Never interfere unless the need arises.' Since the girl wasn't exactly causing a big scene, Regina let it be. For now.

Regina Barker was now watching the other patrons with a tired gaze. Her brown eyes happen to fall upon the old man who just sat down at the bar. He looked like the grandfatherly type and that made her smile from some reason. 'Reminds me Pops,' she laughed inwardly, thinking of her own grandfather.

Regina Barker didn't react at first as she was caught by surprise that the old man would actually acknowledge her. Finally responding, Regina lifted a hand and gave him a small wave with a smile. 'Nice guy. Good to see people like that still around...'

Just as she was about to lean back down on the counter, Regina jumped visibly at the sound of the bar door that was busted down. Her hand instinctively went to her holstered gun but she froze and took a deep breath before turning around to see who had disturbed the peace. She watched as the man stormed in and sat down, clearly not happy about something.

Regina Barker lifted an eyebrow at the rage that was emitting from the cursing man and chuckled at the girl who was speaking to the old man. "Ah, he must have had a bad day. Everyone gets one of those every now and then," she said, replaying to the girl.
