Rio Abhainn grinned a little at the kiss, entirely sure of who it was. Of course, if he was wrong, it would have been quite strange. "Hey babe." He all but sighed, pulling a cigarette out of his cutaway, seeming to bypass the pack completely. Leaning back a little, he cocked his head up, letting the cancer stick rest in between his lips as he gazed at the woman's face. "I missed you." Rio pouted jokingly bringing the lighter to the tip of the cigarette, lighting it promptly.

Rio Abhainn took another, quick drag of the cigarette, holding the smoke in his lungs until Esma took her seat, almost like it was a game. After the elf was resting across from him, Rio let the recently burned nicotine drift lazily from his lips before responding. "Causing hell in a lot of second string hotels, did you know they charged people for using the mini bar?" The man had nearly killed the room service when they came to investigate the frequency at which he'd opened and closed the small fridge's door. "Other than that, nothing too special." Rio let a small grin toy at his lips as he continued. "And what about you love?"

Rio Abhainn bit his lower lip, the cigarette now resting in his right hand. "There's a certain sort of entertainment that rests in tearing up second rate resting establishments." A small grin seemed to form, although it appeared the man had a small deal of sanguine liquid dribbling down his chin. "As much as I'd love to live with you, I wouldn't want to risk us getting all bitter towards eachother too soon." The grin seemingly disappeared momentarily, being replaced with a nearly stoic glance as he brought the cigarette to his lips, staining the filter with his blood. "Although, I'd love to stay there tonight." With that a wolfish smile began to tug at the corners of his mouth once again.

Rio Abhainn let one of his hands drift idly to his lip, he always tended to bite slightly too hard, but maybe that was the point. "I wouldn't say I'm a slob." He quirked his brow a bit, dragging at the cigarette once again. "But I haven't lived in a stable environment for a while. It would probably be like releasing a bunch of wild cats in an apartment or something." It was an awful analogy, but Rio never claimed to be a professional linguist. Sighing softly, he contemplated what the woman had said before that, sure she was teasing, but he did feel awful. It'd been days since he'd talked to Esma and the first thing his mind went to was sex.

"They're not particularly nice arms though." Rio let out a laugh as his eyes shifted from one of his biceps to the other, pretending to seem self conscious. " Although I have to admit, your bed is eons more comfortable than most hotels and the like." The grin remained on his now particularly red lips as he crushed his now dead cigarette in the nearest ashtray, deciding to wait a few moments before lighting another. "What sort of drama? Plenty of violence and infidelity I'm assuming?" Rio cracked his neck, his eyes still resting on the Elf's figure, attempting keep his gaze from lingering below Esma's neck.

Rio Abhainn allowed one of his eyebrows to raise slightly. "Just because you haven't seen them doesn't mean they didn't happen." He'd managed to irritate some people during his little hiatus, but most of them were just disgruntled hotel employees with mops and the sort. Of course, he hadn't killed any of them, that would have been quite rude. "I have to agree, this place is pretty damn dramatic. I mean, there's always something going on, whether it's violent, sexual or even just social." The only strange part was that Rio had no idea how to properly involve himself in the aforementioned action.

Rio Abhainn returned the kiss with similar vigor, letting out a small sigh before he eventually pulled away. "Frankly, I'd be embarrassed if they'd left a mark, they weren't exactly intimidating people." A little smile still gracing his lips. "Hell, I think I've done more damage to myself in the last half hour than any of them could have in ages." Rio's glance shot downwards, as if attempting motion towards his recently cut lip for a second before he leaned forwards for another kiss. This time the man brought his left hand to rest in Esma's sea of platinum hair, tugging at the locks ever so softly.

Rio Abhainn shrugged, his eyes raising to meet the woman's. "If you keep the door open. I think I'm far from retiring." His left hand still rested on the back of the Elf's head lightly. A tiny look of disappointment seemed to usurp his visage at the Elf's words, he was hoping she'd have been willing to linger longer, yet it disappeared almost instantaneously. "I think most of the places with beds around here have my face on a poster." A small, nervous laugh left Rio's lips as he continued to gaze into the Elf's eyes, doing his best to contain the pent up testosterone that suddenly seemed to make itself irritatingly noticeable.

Rio Abhainn suddenly found himself quite alone, and bored. So with a small grunt, he hurdled the bar, his feet just barely crossing the counter itself. Once he was staring at the various array of liquors, the man found himself in emotional disarray, having far too much trouble deciding what he wanted. When Rio was alone he usually preferred whiskey, but that was a depressing drink, but he was happy which would mean he'd want some sort of rum. In a moment of crazed indecisiveness, he simply grabbed the highest proofs he could find, pouring them erratically into the nearest pint glass. The man hoped the ensuing mixture would act as effectively as it should have. Once the cup was all but overflowing, Rio set it on the counter, hopping over the bar and taking a seat, simple staring at his Frankenstein concoction before casually lighting another cigarette.

Rio Abhainn entered the bar with a strange arrogance. Both of the man's hands rested at his side as he strode towards the counter, all but demanding a drink upon arrival. After a few seconds of awkward standing, Rio would take a seat, his head bowing in defeat as he realized there was no bartender to harass.

Rio Abhainn found himself entering the bar as casually as usual, hands lingering in pant pockets. There were a few moments of hesitation before he made his way to the bar, taking a seat next to no one in particular.

Rio Abhainn sighed, pulling a rather worn pack of cigarettes out of his cutaway, hastily bringing one of the cancersticks to his mouth, whilst throwing the now half empty contained on the counter. Grunting a little bit, the man searched his pants for a lighter, shifting awkwardly on the stool he currently occupied. After a moment or two, he managed to find a plain, black bic. Wasting no time, he set fire to the tip of his cigarette, taking a deep first drag, savoring it ever so slightly before eying the bottles of booze that lingered behind the bar.
