Robert Tarosi's Story

"Generally people take care of themselves mostly, or everyone takes care of each other in a family. Often it is the mother who does take care of things at home, but not always. However, generally both mothers and fathers work together to raise children, just not always in the same ways. As for soldiers, not sure what you would need them for. I know things are tense, but as far as I know there are no active wars".

"And I am sorry about your species then. It must be horrible, everyone dying like that".

The medical team was somewhat concerned about the virus, and began using more thorough detection equipment. Officer Ryla looked at the man however. "The woman are considered equal to men, and have been for hundreds of years. Sexist policies like that went extinct with the Dark Era. Now, women and men both can be soldiers, and do what they want".

She soon got the results back. "No foreign bacteria detected that could be dangerous. Minor traces of a small bug on the outside of the hull, but it's burned so bad it doesn't pose any risk. As for housing, I know they recently built that housing tower. Good, quality housing for all types of people".

"I am a soldier trained to protect our species, to defend ourselves if attacked. We do not fight in wars. I do not take care of my home. I take care of work. My mate takes care of the house and the children. I only train the boys to be soldiers when they reach the age of ten."

He watched as the medical teams did scans. "We don't have the virus with us. We were lucky to escape before it came further south. You don't need to worry about that. You need to worry about finding us a home."

"My woman is not equal to man and never will be. She is my mate and she serves me." He reiterated before looking back at his mate and the children. "My boys will be soldiers, my girls will be mates. That is the way of my land. I will have nothing different. Now, I think we should be taken to our house so my children can get food." He nodded.

Robert Tarosi watched as some officers came around now to take them to a house that would be provided, per Pandorian Alliance Mandate 23-A4 that regarded how to deal with refugees. Robert couldn't notice about how dead set heavy he was in his beliefs, beliefs that, to his knowledge anyways, most if not all other Galactic civilizations have abandoned for being barbaric. But to be respectful, he kept that to himself.

"Well, I wish you luck then. it was nice meeting you".

Although he held this back as well, he wanted to point out they were not on their land anymore. He did mention this however. "Just be careful to respect other's beliefs though. Being understanding is a valuable trait".

Acinom nodded. "I will respect other people if they respect me." He simply said before gathering his mate and his children once they had been seen to and moved to follow the people that were taking them to their new quarters.

"When you get to your quarters, mate, you will clean the house up and get the children sorted." He told Nyleve. "You are not to talk to anyone, you are not to go out of our new house. The rules are the same as those on our home planet." He told her.

The woman just nodded, following her mate away.
