The Ace Motors Dome had been converted from a basketball arena to a wrestling arena. The squared circle was surrounded by fans, and they were pumped after the five matches that had already occurred. The main event was about to go down, there was no way it wasn't going to be great. The fans looked toward the stage. Suddenly the titan-tron lit up with the name Jake Davidson and his theme started playing. The self entitled hangman Jake Davidson stepped out onto the stage, a microphone in hand. The huge man was clad in his signature bomber jacket, under which was an orange t-shirt with a noose and the words "Hangman's Body Count" written on it, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of black boots. Jake made his way down to the ring, climbed the steel steps, and came out to the middle of the ring. Already in the ring were a referee and the ring announcer.
The music cut and Jake spoke, "My name, as you may all know, is Jake Davidson. I am the Hangman, and my Body Count is at 8. I've ran through eight superstars in eight weeks." The crowd booed as he paused, "And here tonight I intend to add not one,but two superstars to the list." More boos rained down upon Davidson. "I am calling for two superstars tonight. Their names? Jimmy Holiday and Sammy Steed!"
Jake looked to the stage as Jimmy "The Cobra" Holiday's theme played. The Cobra came down the ramp, wearing a Wing City Aces Jersey with his name on it and the number 27 on it as well as his signature tights. Jimmy jumped up on the side of ring and tossed his head back and let out a "Wooo!" Jimmy jumped into the ring, took off his jersey and threw it into the crowd. Jimmy then threw his arm into the air. Jimmy looked at Jake, then to the stage. Jake mirrored him.
The spotlights turned red and pointed at the entrance. A very large man clad in a maroon and silver singlet strode into the lights. He stuck a fist into the air and started running to the ring. The big man slid into the ring and stood up and beat his chest a few times.
The ring announcer stood in the middle of the ring, "The following match is scheduled for one fall! It is a triple threat match with no disqualifications! Introducing first, weighing in at 254 pounds, residing in Solinus City, The Hangman Jake Davidson!" The crowd erupted in boos.
"Second, weighing in at 243 pounds, hailing from Wing City, Jimmy 'The Cobra' Holiday!" The crowd went wild, he was their home town hero.
"And Finally, weighing in at 297 pounds, hailing from Van Leugen City, Sammy Steed!" Sammy put his fist in the air again and he got about half of the ovation Jimmy did.
The bell rang. The three superstars stared each other down. Jake took the first move, running toward Sammy. Sammy grabbed Jake by the throat and choke slammed the Hangman. Just when Sammy turned to find Jimmy, he found Jimmy's fist in his face. Jimmy went to town on the super heavyweight with a flurry of punches. Meanwhile Jake slowly got up. He was now on the other side of the ring from the two battling wrestlers on the other side of the ring. Jake slipped out of the ring and went over to the announcer's table. The announcers commented on the fact that The Hangman was by their table. Jake grabbed a steel chair and made his way back into the ring. To his surprise Jake found Sammy waiting for him on the other side of the ropes. Sammy hit Jake with a power punch, sending Jake off the ropes and into the announce table. The announcers were frantic. When Sammy turned around he caught Jimmy's boot to the face. The announcers shouted "Wing City Holiday" and were very clearly excited. Sammy ended up toppling over the ropes and onto the new floor. When the super heavyweight went to get up, he was hit with a chair by Jake. Jake was then hit by a flying cross body from The Cobra. Jimmy looked around and heard thunderous applause as he was the last man standing.
The Cobra through The Hangman into the ring and covered him up. The ref hit the ground once, twice, thr- Then Jake kicked out. Jimmy stood up and looked shocked. Jimmy stomped Jake a few times and covered him up, but before the ref could even count one Sammy pulled Jimmy off of Jake. Jimmy turned to punch Sammy, but the giant caught The Cobra and preformed The Bell Ringer on the smaller man. Steed let out a roar and went to pin Jimmy, but The Cobra kicked out on a two count. Sammy sat up and complained to the ref, only to receive a Black Out Kick from The Hangman. Sammy slumped over, but before Jake could cover Sammy he received a Wing City Holiday. Jimmy then, to the crowd's surprise, put his knees on the shoulders of Jake and grabbed his legs and pulled back. The announcers raved about the Snake Bite. Jake looked pained, and he tapped. The Ref called the match, leaving Jimmy Holiday, the home town hero, as the winner of the triple threat.
Jimmy had finally put an end to the reign of The Hangman, and he had beaten the unbeatable Sammy Steed. Jimmy stood triumphantly in the ring, having somehow acquired a mic, and spoke only five words, "And that's how it's done." With thatthe show wrapped up.
