Personality
Tejas is an outcast of his race, as they are evil and he is not. But he finds it hard to fit in with other races, since they distrust him for his heritage. He is usually wary of strangers for this reason.
Equipment
Tejas wears a swordbelt that carries a katana on his left and a wakizashi on his right. He also carries a longbow. He always has a small flute with him.
History
Tejas fled from his homeland when his family tried to sacrifice him to placate Lolth, the Spider Queen. He eventually found his way to the surface world and has been trying to find a place of acceptance ever since.

Tejas 'kel Khalus's Story

Tejas 'kel Khalus drew his blades halfway before he realized who the new dark elf was. Easing the weapons home, he nods to Zelanui. "Well met, abbil."
Tejas 'kel Khalus answers Zelanui. "I believe I saw him earlier, skulking about some rich fellow or some such thing. He is likely not far away-" Just then the door to the bar all but explode inward as yet another drow elf burst into the room as though he owned the place. Tejas sighs. He says to Zelanui, "Speak of the devil, and he will appear . . ."
Tejas 'kel Khalus strides into the Arena solemnly, but with confidence. He glances about the place with nary a word
Tejas 'kel Khalus enters the bar, his hands on the hilts of his blades, wary of the possibility of enemies nearby. His grey eyes are narrowed dangersously.
Tejas 'kel Khalus sees no immediate threat and eases his hands from his weapons. He wipes a tiny rivulet of blood from his right cheek. The wound under his eyepatch is bleeding again. Wiping the blood on his breeches, he advances toward the bar, his boots making little to no sound as he walks. Stopping at the bar, he takes note of the strange woman there.
Tejas 'kel Khalus raises an eyebrow, curious about this . . . woman? She appears to be made of wood. His confusion is well-hidden, however, as he bows slightly at the shoulders. "Well met, Janessa. I am Tejas. If you don't mind, I'd like a glass of water." He watches the strange woman curiously.
Tejas 'kel Khalus takes a small drink from the glass, thankful for the water after the intense heat outside. He directs his gaze to the woman. "Pardon is I seem a bit rude, but, what -are- you, might I ask?"
Tejas 'kel Khalus is a little stunned, to say the least. "A . . . puppet. Most intriguing. Is there no way to reverse the entrapment? I have a little knowledge of the arcane."
Tejas 'kel Khalus is suddenly saddened. "I understand your loss." He glances down as he clears his threat softly. "I, too, have lost a child."
Tejas 'kel Khalus smiles softly. "Never give up, abbil. Kami never closes a door without opening a window."
Tejas 'kel Khalus asks, "You've given up? If I may say so, I believe it might be time for you to take up the quest once more. As long as we draw breath, there is hope for a better tomorrow. And perhaps I may be able to aid you is some way.
The setting changes from Gambit's Bar to The Infinite Void
Quickpaw Hurojo awakes after having been asleep for several years. Around the area was only void. It was empty. Dark. Cold. "Where... where have the spirits placed me?" He started patting his body all over; ensuring that he was corporeal. "Not dead; that's a plus." Though there was no time to lose. If he was corporeal, that likely means that he could return to the world he knew, and hopefully return to his king. He began running, hoping to find an exit to this ethereal obscurity.
