The flat screen is almost pencil thin, since most of the machinery and what not is in the back of the wall mounting. It is also shiny and brand new.

The Television's Story

The Television was often very concerned about the mental health of most of the patrons, as some of them had the tendency to talk to themselves...legitimately talking to themselves. As such, she kept a careful watch over both Dillon AND General Rondel
The Television came equipped with a neat little deflector shield to prevent accidental and/or incidental damage. She continued to broadcast the local news.
The Television complied with having her buttons pushed, but she didn't like it. Unfortunately, it was her lot in life.
The Television moodily toggled herself back on to the local news, which she considered far more important than the top fifty singles of the week.
The Television was rather vexed at the loud music, as it made it hard for her to report the news' top story for that day...
The Television was sad at Howlo's words. She liked to think of herself as her reporter. All her life she'd wanted to be a camera, or a microphone, but regretfully, she was cursed to be bolted to the wall of Gambit's, merely acting a as a conduit for the news she so loved. It was her only connection to the world outside this dismal dive...
The Television would have sighed to herself if it had been capable. Here was another would-be terrorist who desperately wanted attention by trying to blow up the bar. Another would-be terrorist who seemed to have no idea that the bar was quite immune to such mundane attacks. Simian idiot...
The Television didn't like reporting stories on violence and mayhem, but she considered it her duty to report the news as it was as it happened.
An advertisement for the VARIAtech mech battling tournament ran across the Television's screen, saying that the tournament would be open to all comers and would begin in early spring. Sponsored pilots were being signed up already...
"Acceptance: Of course. It is understandable. A silent exchange may be best. I can upload the files in question to a device of your choosing during a tendered exchange...though I do not require financial benefits. Only...an understanding." Jeltz buzzed, taking an idle sip of the sake. This, he knew, would be the worst knew possible for Jyotika, as the man would not want to budge an inch of power. But, ultimately, Jeltz already had the power in this situation, so if he wanted the information so badly, he would understand this and bite the bullet. Though by judging the conversation between the man and question and another potential source of information, this all might be for naught. Far be it from Jeltz to jump to forgone conclusions however. He would continue this pursuit as long as necessary. Besides, he hand't been able to get what he had come here for, so he may as well turn some gears while in the bar.
The Television sighed at The Lamp's stupid joke. She often grew tired of his incessant badgering of bar patrons, but she could understand his frustration. She too often wished to voice her opinion, but she could only do so when no one else was watching her, forever a slave to Lord Remote.
The Television suddenly lit turned herself up as the long-running ad for the VARIAtech battle-mech tournament came on, saying that applications would soon open for individual pilots as well as sponsored teams, and would most likely start some time soon in the coming months...
The Television finally came to rest on WCER, The Wing City Emergency Report. There was a program running about the nuclear attacks that had occurred just a few months prior, and that reconstruction on central Wing City was on schedule and 47% completed. The deed had been traced positively back to the Demigod known as Maleficus, and measures had been taken to protect the city from further divine interference, bringing a slew of new ordnances and laws that further prohibited extra planar conflict and divine solicitation within the city, as the laws had not been revised since the Holy Wars between Heaven and Hell.
