Description
She is 5' 4" with ivory skin and long black hair going down to her mid back that shines like the precious stone, jet. She wears a laced black bodice with a silver trim, and a matching black skirt with long stalkings. On her arms she wears long fingerless laced dress gloves that go up to her mid bicep, also with silver trim. around her neck she wears a black choker with a single ruby in the center. She wears a single black bow in her hair. Her shoes are, of course, shiny black buckled shoes.
Personality
Timid in appearance, she lacks certain social skills. She doesn't get along well with others, always shunning them away, sometimes without meaning to. She is usually shy and sticks to herself, she prefers quiet places most times, yet she can be found in loud places such as clubs or even bars, the people she finds there often intrigue her along with the situations of others that she also enjoys watching.
Equipment
Two knives that are strapped to her hips by laces from her bodice. Her choker is actually the amulet that hides her from evil entities.
History
When she was just a small girl at the age of 8, her parents were butchered by demons. She escaped that night only to be hunted by them for several years. She was found by a kind hearted drifter who took her under his wing and taught her how to fend for herself through combat and scrounging, together they traveled for two years. She never told him of the demons that hunted her, and to this day she regrets that decision. After the demons found her again they tore apart the drifter in front of her eyes, she ran faster and longer than she ever had that night. After another year of wandering by herself, she came to an orphanage, this orphanage took her in and kept her as safe as possible. She lived there for a few short months before she was adopted by a wealthy family. She told her newfound parents of the demons that hunted her, she expected them to think her crazy. Instead they surprisingly believed her, and they gave her an amulet that would hide her from the demons. Unfortunately, these demons had human familiars who researched the girl's trail, and finding her adopted family, they tortured and interrogated them on the girl's whereabouts. Her family never told them anything, and died bravely. Now the girl is nigh unwilling to accept anyone into her life again, for fear that they too, will die at the hands of these demons.
So begins...
Vel Sarivosh's Story
Vel switches her attention to Bellum, a somewhat dazed look in her eyes. All confusion gone from her face, replaced by something more akin to...passion? After it takes her a moment to realize what she must look like, she immediately tries to regain her composure. With great effort she brings her face to resemble something like her normal blank look, though she cannot do anything about the blush which still tinges her cheeks.
Vel Sarivosh looks back and forth between the two of them, trying to figure out what she should do. Though it no longer shows on her face, she is very confused.
Vel Sarivosh whimpers louder than last time as her arms are pinned to the tree above her, and once again it's obvious it isn't from fear or pain. She gasps and her face is a picture of passion trying to be recontrolled, "I don't know what you mean." she says in a breathless whisper.
Vel's eyes began to close as her lips met Requiem's, she almost returned the kiss before the young girl pulled back. Now, seeing Requiem before her with two crimson glowing eyes, she felt scared and was confused as to why tears were coming out of the girl's eyes.
Vel Sarivosh Snaps out of her daze, her first instinct, thanks to the training she received so many years ago, was to grab for her knives. But seeing the tears in Requiem's eyes, and the way the young girl was looking at her, it seemed like she was begging for help, 'How could that make sense?' Vel thought to herself. Wracked with indecision, wondering what to do, Vel knows she needs to decide quickly and act quicker.
Vel gasps in panic as Bellum grabs Requiem's throat. She holds her breath and runs forward to wrap her arms around the young girl, trying to pin her arms down, "Please, stop this!" she shouts.
Vel's eyes flash dangerously with a tiny hint of angry insanity for only a very, very brief moment at Bellum before she turns Requiem to face her, "Are you okay?" she asks, then pulls the young girl into an embrace without waiting for an answer.
Vel only put her own head on the girl's shoulder and whispered into her ear, "Because I can't allow anything to happen to someone like you. Someone important." Vel holds her closer while stroking the back of Requiem's head soothingly.
The setting changes from Dark Woods to The Riverbank
Vel Sarivosh stands on the edge of the river bank, staring into the water with her hands crossed over her chest. She sighs quietly to herself, thinking of recent past events.
Vel Sarivosh looked startled as the woman stepped out of the vortex, her eyes wide with fear, "Y-es? What do you want?" her voice was shaking, as one hand slipped down to feel the handle of one of her knives checking to make sure they were there. She was hopefully prepared to defend herself.
Vel's eyes were still wide with surprise and fear, "Wh-what about?" she asked in a tiny, scared tone.
Vel Sarivosh suddenly became very suspicious, "I-I'm not sure where she is, why do you wish to know?" some of the fear but not all gone from her tone, her eyes now scrutinizing.
Vel Sarivosh still didn't feel she could trust this person, something was wrong, "I'm sorry, but I don't know where she is right now. Perhaps I could relay a message?"
Vel Sarivosh steps back, her foot now on the edge of the river itself, "Stay away from me." she says quietly but loud enough to be heard, she draws her knives in each hand, reversed she holds them in front in a curious fighting style. Her eyes still holding fear, she tries to quell her quickly beating heart.
Vel Sarivosh brought her blades up to try and block the scythe, her life flashing before her eyes. When it stopped before getting to her she blinked several times in surprise. As the strange butler man seemed to just appear before her, her mouth dropped open, "Uuuhhh?" she said incredulous.
