Vesti is you're every day vampire. Bitten when she was thirteen, she stopped in time. Her body still forces her to act thirteen most of the time, but at times she acts her true age. Shy, and very scared to reveal her vampiric nature due to the high amount of holy crusaders and do-gooders who would see all vampires burned.
She normally wears a simple black dress, but has a small pouch strapped to her leg. She can unstrap it from her leg and turn it inside out to reveal a full body, black cloak with a hood. How she's able to turn it inside out and make it so small, only magic knows, but inside the cloak is a pocket pocket enchanted to be very deep and large, allowing her to carry with her all of her possessions. And the fabric of the cloak it's self isn't normal, either. It's made so when she stays very still, it will enhance her ability to remain unseen in the darkness. If preformed properly, you can walk right into her and not know it. But the full effect is lost when she moves. If she moves slow enough, she can remain hidden from anyone but someone who takes more than a glance or two in her direction. Unfortunately, night vision and heat signatures are still able to detect her no sweat no matter how sneaky she is. Curse technology!
She uses this special cloak and her vampiric powers to become the perfect opportunist fighter. She hides in the shadows and makes one, perfect shot for a kill. If that fails, she'll do anything possible to return to cover and try again. She does not fight toe-to-toe.
Like normal vampires, she's susceptible to sunlight, but only prolonged exposure will cause permanent damage, though the time leading up to that damage will be very painful. Unlike some vampires however, she is able to shield herself from the sunlight via cloth alone, not requiring walls. She also doesn't care for fire. She has no food aversion, and actually loves something called "Garlic Knots." (Bread tied into a knot, baked, bathed in garlic butter and parmesan cheese.) Her regeneration is a bit iffy at best. She does not heal over wounds that are still injured, such as bullet wounds with bullets still in the body. Poison seems to stop her regeneration as well. A shot though the heart will incapacitate her for a while, and a shot in the head for MUCH longer, but only extended sunlight exposure, her body burning, silver weapons.. And a bath of holy water will kill her outright. Though a splash of holy water will burn like acid.
A normal schedule for her feeding is four to six days between feedings. Due to her size, she's able to feed fully off most people without killing them, though it will require a nap, a nice, juicy hunk of meat and a tall drink to recover from quickly.
As of late, she's been spending much time looking for and learning from other vampires. She is in the begining stages of learning dark magics, but only has taken intrest in stealth magics such as silence and very brief invisibility. She's a fast laerner, though, and often tries new spells right in the thick of when it's needed.
