Description
Following the Asherah Cooperation Act, it was decided that each major (and most minor) factions on Asherah would need to participate in the Council of Asherah. With the purpose of individual governing factions having died out over time, the Council forms the only true governing body in the Asherah System.
Ultimately the Council decides what laws are passed, both in relation to the Games and life as a whole within the Asherah system. Each Councillor's power is determined by his or her faction, and the popularity they control. Beyond that, they manage all of the Ashes systems, infrastructure, and cloning systems as a unified whole- any advances that improve life in general are handled through joint effort.
The only holdings that the Council itself maintains are that of Asherah Prime's Capitol city. At the beginning of Season 21, the Council has no standing Generals, officially speaking. With that said, several of the Council members do like to join small engagements with personal armies.
