Setting
Castelia is a sprawling seaside metropolis located in south central Unova. It is the heart of business and economy of the Unova region. Most of its city streets are crowded with different people rushing around, trying to get to work, home, or other places, creating a hustle and bustle scene for city life. You can find just about anything in this majestic city, including a primitive spaceport for off-world visitors. More notably however, Castelia has an entire building dedicated to teleportation based transportation, utilizing pokemon to allow people to instantly travel to and from the city from many places across the galaxy. (There is a building in Ridgecrest City on Terra with corresponding pokemon to teleport to and from, for instance.)

Valorie nodded slowly, silently. It made sense to her anyway, and the part of her mind that belonged to Cresselia didn't disagree. She remembered waking up from what was supposed to be eternal slumber, surrounded by her teammates in the deathly cold snow. ...Needless to say, they had been quite a distance from the original site of death by the time the decission had been made to revive Valorie. There had been a small controversy over the matter. She only knew this because Cresselia had known it. She never had qutie been able to look at Zweilous the same way.
"...Why'd you let me?" she asked, curious. She seemed plenty convinced that he had in fact let her. She had after all given him the option to protest.

Nathan Miles shrugged. "There are a couple of reasons as to why I let you catch me. One is that I was too weak from my battle that I couldn't resist. Another is that I was merely upholding my end of the deal we made. But I think the main reason was that you are different from any human I've met, even my past trainer, who caught me because she fell in love with me and didn't want to loose me. You were definitely different from her." he said with a small laugh.
Valorie blinked, and then gave Nathan a rather skeptical look. "She fell in love with you..?" Valorie asked curiously, attempting to rationalize this. Cue flashback. Valorie recalled Evrir, a Zoroark, taking on the illusionary form of a beautiful woman. It had very much created sexual tension between them, though the experience had been rather uncomfortable for Valorie. She knew what she saw was not real, and could never have acted upon her urges. The connection? Nathan stood there before her with the vague appearance of a man. "...I guess I could see that." she said with a note of distaste. Personally, she would prefer to fall in love with someone over what they /were/, not an illusion, and quite frankly... her love for dragons was platonic! "I guess you're right though... I... /shouldn't/ give up." she said, only mildly hesitant to utter the words.
Nathan Miles laughed again and nodded. "Of course the human form she fell in love with looked more human than this one." he said. "Anyone who knows pokemon could easily tell that I'm a Rayquaza, just by the rings in my hair or by my hair color." he said, laughing again. "I can't remember what I saw in her that made me so ... tame around her." he said a bit lost in thought. He shrugged and smirked at what Valorie said. "That's it. Never give up. And not hesitating could help a bit too, but I'll nag you about that at some other point in time." he said with a chuckle.
Valorie Ryder smiled lightly. "Thanks..." she said, and reached up to abruptly embrace Nathan again in a mildly affectionate manner. But.. affection aside, she kind of needed to get to work didn't she? She had half a team to replace and an entire team to train. She had a lot ahead of her if she actually wanted to go through with this.
Nathan Miles smiled as she embraced him, showing him some affection. "If you want, I can be around to help you out for whatever it is you need. I recently stopped my two little best friends from fighting again and I think they won't be fighting again for at least a year or two." he said with a smile. "Which is a very good thing." he added.
Released Nathan from the hug and moved back slightly, looking up at him. "That sounds nice..." she remarked, thinking about how she had so much support now. She hadn't had quite this much support since she was... well... in Team Eclipse! Or perhaps when she had been in school. It had always felt otherwise back then, though. Now was different though. This wasn't like any support she'd had in the past. "I guess... I've been trying to explore how friendship with pokemon works." she explained, glancing down at herself as if searching for something.
Nathan Miles smiled and thought for a few seconds. "I'm guessing that the friendship shouldn't be too different from a friendship you'd have with another human or with a pet." he said with a shrug. "I mean ..." he blinked a sighed, scratching his head. "I don't even know what I mean." he said, blushing a bit in embarrassment. "How silly of me." he said laughing at himself.
Valorie gave Nathan a curious look. Just like with humans? Well that didn't feel right... "...Somehow, I feel like it's /more/ than that." she explained thoughtfully. Her mind was elsewhere however, and she declined to explain.
Nathan Miles shrugged. "I'm not really sure. The only friendship I've had with a human was the romantic one I described to you." he said. "So..asking me how to be friends with a pokemon probably isn't a good idea." he said, an embarrassed laugh escaping his mouth.
Valorie Ryder shrugged lightly. "That's alright... I guess I'll have to go out and experience it for myself, right?~" she asked, some youth in her voice. Was she really 25? ...She turned her head to look around. "I've... got a lot of work to do, I guess... I have an eevee that needs training, and I need to make sure I've got a complete team..." she remarked, thoughtfully. What did she fill it with? Her favorite pokemon, or the pokemon she bonded best with?
Nathan Miles blinked and tilted his head. "I guess." he wasn't too sure now. "Ooh, an Eevee. Those are one of my favorite pokemon aside from myself." he said. "They're just so versatile! Though a lot of the ones I met don't want to evolve." he said with a shrug. "Oh well. As for you needing a complete team, I guess you could consider me on it." he said with a shrug. He pulled out a strange tube from his pocket. "Here. It's a whistle that only I can hear. When you need me, just blow on it and I'll come." he said with a smile. 'Have you ever been this tame before? I don't think I have.' he thought to himself, as if there were two people in his head.
Valorie gently took the whistle. Was it really that difficult to be tame around a little girl? She was about as intimidating as a flower visually. The knowledge that there was a fair chance he could literally crush her before she had a fair chance to react if he was that kind of person /had/ to be comforting in some sort of weird way, right? "Thanks--I have to think about this though... I can keep lots of pokemon, but I can only use six in battle..." she said thoughtfully. She technically still had far over 6 pokemon under her name, but half of them simply weren't trained for battle.
Nathan Miles smiled and nodded. "Think about it all you need." he said. He thought of something else to say, but he couldn't think of anything.
nodded silently. It took her a few moments to think of what she wanted to say now. It occurred to her she had been letting her ice cream melt. She quickly licked at it to try and stem the flow. "Mmph....What are you going to do now?" she asked Nathan after a moment of frenzied attention on the cone.
Nathan Miles shrugged. "I honestly have no idea." he said. "I've got nothing to do at the moment. So..I guess I'll do whatever you want me to for now." he said with a shrug.
...It was then that Valorie got an idea, something she'd thought about a while back after having originally caught Nathan. "...Y'wanna fly?" she asked, seemingly slightly eager.
Nathan Miles shrugged. "Can you hold on?" he asked in return with a small smirk as he started to glow and transform into his true form.
"I hope so~" she replied in a joking tone. Just imagine how high and fast she could go!~ She was eager, to say the least.
Nathan Miles seemed to smile, and gestured for her to hop on just behind his horns so she could have something to hang onto. "Where do you want to fly?" he asked her as she climbed on to his back and settled just behind his horns.

Not sure!" she said. She adjusted the way she was sitting for a moment before becoming satisfied. "Ready--Surprise me?" she asked, feeling adventurous.
Nathan Miles chuckled. "Very well, a surprise it is. Thank you for choosing Rayquaza air. Please keep your hands feet arms and legs on or near the horns or body of the Rayquaza to stay safe and please make sure you are warm enough." he said as he started to fly away from the docs steadily gaining speed as he almost seemed to snake his way through the sky.
Valorie Ryder gripped the horns with her hands and Nathan's body with her legs, well aware of what would happen if she fell and he couldn't catch her quickly. She emitted a light giggle at his jokes despite this and looked skyward as a powerful gust of air blew her long blonde hair back along with her half-cape and scarf, tugging at the brim of her skirt and generally giving her the exhilarating feel that only came from traveling at exceedingly high speeds without any protection from wind resistance.
Nathan Miles turned towards the mountains and weaved his way through a very narrow canyon, purposely almost hitting some rocks to give his trainer a little more thrill. After a few minutes of going through the canyon without too much trouble he frowned a bit. "Oh, look. Fog. This is going to get crazy." he said before he went into the fog, narrowly avoiding the walls of the canyon, rocks, plants, rock climbing humans, and even pokemon that seemed to appear out of no where. "We are approaching the three quarter mark of our flight, please hold on a little tighter and make sure you take deep slow breaths." he said as he exited the canyon, coiled up and launched even more skyward.
Valorie Ryder yelped as they nearly hit a rock, startled by Nathan's antics. She wasn't used to the pokemon she was riding being such a tease. As they went on, she became aware of the deliberate teasing and found herself giggling uncontrollably with each narrow dodge, occasionally stifling it and tensing briefly if they got especially close. It was only after he advised her to control her breathing that she tried to calm down, her giggling becoming muffled as she attempted to slow her breathing.
