Titania Brightsmith fired back. "Well, I can't tell if this circuit is working without this device here, and it's not working, whereas Magnezone has the ability to sense magnetic fields, which happen when electricity flows." She was spared further tongue-lashing when a good whack to the side of the device caused it to beep a few times. "Ah, there we go. There really are few things a good whack can't fix, at least in the short term."
Titania Brightsmith proceeded to go through the rest of the crate with little, if any, further interruption.
Titania Brightsmith sighed at the Pokedexes with the cracked LCD screens. "I really don't have the tools to fix those. I'm more of a gear-head myself. Regardless, that's the best I can do with what I have. A pleasure doing business with you."

Titania Brightsmith smiled broadly. That was easier than she thought, but she would make sure to think twice before calling on them again. Also, she was fully ready to take quite a bit of heat from Officer Magnezone for "fraternizing with the enemy" or some shit like that. Even letting them onto their doorstep...oh, man.
Titania Brightsmith gave a loud sigh and went back to her office. Nicholas was splashing around in the shower, as usual. Maybe one day she would find the time to train it to be a proper successor, but Empoleon was already helping him learn to master his unusual powers brought by his equally unusual origins. She pressed the button to Magnezone's office. "Yeah, it's Titania. Hope the info I sent you was of some use. Who've you got on that area?"

"What forces I could dedicate. Nothing has been found unfortunately. Crews have wiped it clean however, leaving the entire complex empty, meaning any attempt to reset in it will be slowed.
Titania Brightsmith sighed loudly. "Crap, they got away again before we could close the net. Also, did you notice the bit at the bottom about the Escavalier? He flipped out when he saw my Excadrill carrying that Lilligant, but that's not something we have the manpower to investigate."

He's under immunity from us as he helps us in dealing with Ahriman. Other notes, a Mawile came to us and gave us maps to roughly five other possible hideouts Ahriman might move to next. We thanked her greatly for the help."

Titania Brightsmith shook her head. "I think I know which Mawile you're talking about. I had to fight her and three cronies during the raid, and that one went down to the wire. I wouldn't count on her assistance down the road if Ahriman regroups, but I'd rather have her on our side than his." This would probably involve a trip to the bowels of Accounting.
Titania Brightsmith shrugged as Magnezone hung up. There were some valid points there...at a time like this, the League could use all the help it could get. His opinion about the Dragonz showing up on their doorstep to complete the exchange of favors was yet to be revealed, but in any case, it was time to work something out with the number crunchers to see if something could be done to assure Mawile's assistance in future endeavors. It was doubtful, but worth a shot in any case.

Titania Brightsmith started the process with, of course, a check-up call to Akil. She had been a cum dumpster for that monster for so many days on end...probably getting checked up by Dr. M. "Empoleon, I'm heading down to the clinic, then I'll look into signing him up for that school for Pokemon that some Ferrothorn is running. Be back late, so try not to play too rough, okay?" She really did need to spend more time with her budding family...
Titania Brightsmith came back in from the storm again, glad that she wasn't wearing her business attire for that occasion. She never really liked dressing up, anyway, but sometimes you were simply expected to. Akil was a close distance behind, the two of them wishing to not get separated. "All right, let's get cooking. Hope they'll still let us use the oven in the kitchen after what happened last time."

Titania Brightsmith had gotten better since that incident, but old wounds still remained among some. Digging into the noodles, Titania looked over the file again after gulping down some cheap flavored beer. The perfect end to a better-than-usual day. "Well, the way I figure it, with everything that seems to fall to us to deal with going on at the moment, there's no time for me to be the mother figure I need to be for Nicholas. I already had to put him in day-care just so I could run off and save you. And there's still the matter of assembling that care package for our new Mawile friend."
Titania Brightsmith held up a finger and indicated the oven. "You handle the Poffins, I'll get with the registration, then we can tackle Accounting together because holy shit, I do not want to fight that Mawile again."
Titania Brightsmith finished off the booze and the noodles and got up from the table. Perhaps it was best that Akil make the Poffins, even if honor would otherwise demand she make them for Gallade. Akil was better at this sort of thing, and she would know better exactly what he liked. She had other things to take care of, and that started with signing Nicholas up for Ferrothorn's lessons, which included combat basics, English lessons and even a bit of etiquette...strange bedfellows, indeed.
