Ragnaar Anchorage

Calen Ramos didn't say a word. He had ceased speaking, cursing and screaming. His unblinking eyes stared depthlessly into the empty air, his cheeks spattered with blood and his teeth clenched tight in his mouth. He did not even seem to acknowledge Motoko's existence. Her, or anyone else.

Several Terran Marines ran up to Motoko at that moment. "Major! We've cleared the docking bays and the majority of the dormitories! The security center has been barricaded, however. We believe whoever's inside is preparing to make an escape before the fleet arrives."

Motoko Kusanagi stood up, before she turned to the Pilot. Then she turned to the Terran Marines.

"I wouldn't worry about it." Motoko said as the station began to shake, the entire Station had been docked with one of the Taiyou Giga-Fortress PACs.

"He's not going anywhere." There was a shower of sparks, and the ceiling would give way to Taiyou soldiers and Imperial Warriors.

"The Station and it's prisoners will be secured by the Giga Fortress, the crew will go through the prisoner pods and free them, any remaining Aschen Officers will be detained so we can charge them with War Crimes." Motoko said to the Marines.

"Congratulate yourselves on a job well done, this is the first in a long line of well earned victories." She then turned to the Pilot. "Take us out of here." The door then began to close on the Marines.

"Take a contingent of Imperial Warriors to the Barricaded room, their Beam Katanas will be able to cut through the metals." She said, and before the door shut she added another statement. "Make sure he's taken alive, I have a Terran friend who wants to interrogate him." The door shut with a hiss, and the Transport disembarked, and Calen would be greeted with the sight of a burning Ragnaar, the Taiyou fleet, and a battered Aschen fleet, the Empire crumbling right before his eyes.

A modified Infernal began its approach towards Ragnaar Anchorage not in a hostile manner but one of peace and understanding along with the ideals of making a bit of capital here and there. The massive vessel would send out prerecorded message allowing the Aschens to know that it was a call of Business and would await further instructions as to not violate any trust between the two. In a history long ago Mars Corporation used to be part of The Council but thanks to a rather business savvy gentleman he and all of his goods were able to pull out before the great fall of that organization.

There was a long pause from the massive conglomeration of orbital bastions and anchorages that orbited the massive gas giant Ragnaar. From star charts one could likely deduce that they were rather close to Langara itself, with both worlds being in the same star system. The Reverence II 'A Psalm Every Day' slowly emerged from the far side of the planet.

"Mars Corporation vessel, you may begin your initial approach to the following coordinates." It was then several coordinates were beamed to the ship, directing it to a rather large anchorage installation in low orbit above the gas giant's eye.

With the coordinates received the navigation crew had gone to work bringing the ship about in order to dock properly with the installation. Once the ship had been docked David Malachite made his way out from his personal quarters with a personal SMH droid in tow. "Just wonderful." David muttered as he straightened himself up a bit only to approach the airlock of his ship allowing all his men along with the Aschens to do their work before stepping on board of the instalation in hopes of being greeted by friends and not potential enemies with guns at the ready.

The doors to the installation opened with a hiss, and a young raven haired woman was standing in the center of the doorway. Behind her was a table and two chairs, a negotiation table that had been set up in the time it took for the ship to dock with the Installation.

The woman reached out to take David's hand and introduce herself. "I am Admiral Nagala, of the United Aschen Empire, I understand you represent a corporation we have interests in acquiring technology from?"

David Malachite smiled and was for once relieved to know that his previous footing in life was not going to get him shot at. "Admiral it is a pleasure to finally meet you in person, data logs alone are not enough, correct me if I am wrong but it was you who got the Admiral Weskit to sign over the defeat of the Council so long ago when your people destroyed the planetary ring?" David took the woman's hand only to shake his head. "Forgive me I sometimes forget myself. But yes business as usual." With that said David took a seat while the SMH unit stood at its masters side in order to keep the man safe. "We actually are a very broad company ranging from military tech and then from the medical field but I am sure it would be a lot easier if we discussed what is it the Aschens need so I can figure if my company can accommodate you accordingly. Your technology is rather impressive but I can understand the need for diversity."

Sheila Nagala nodded slightly. "I believe Admiral Hartwick handled the actual Surrender, I was responsible for the ring, however. But I was too busy planning my next move to handle the surrender." She said, walking with him through the halls. "Truth be told we don't so much need new technology, as someone to help us manufacture things like weapons, parts, and other technology. The Empire just doesn't have the resources to feed the Divine Shadow's demands." She explained.

"We have need for improved shields and energy weapons, in addition to better medical technology that can augment our existing resources."

David Malachite smiled and nodded while following the Admiral while his SMH unit followed in tow. "If Mars Corp. Agrees to help you produce weaponry then I can only ask out of fairness that you allow my company to have access to your latest schematics for weapons and vessels." David glanced at the SMH unit as it produced a set of files which David took. "I can help improve your shielding and also provide new materials that you might be interested in. Along the lines of medical technology you cannot go wrong with us Admiral."

Sheila Nagala slowly moved to sit down in the chair that was set up for her. "I'll get your schematics, but Aschen weapons technology has always been a closely guarded secret. Your company will have to prove itself in the other fields before we approach with a weapons contract. Following these negotiations, I'll have digitized schematics for our shield technology provided to you, but we will be providing incomplete schematics and have you improve on them, we will then implement your improved designs into our complete systems. It's a security protocol."

"Understandable." David spoke as he finally took his seat while the SMH unit stood behind its master. "Besides that would you or your people be interested in safe worlds to claim? We have been building several worlds to house endangered species for study due to their unique physiology. Besides that we also would like to offer your people a place within the Citadel. We of Mars Corp wish to share our knowledge through educational programs." David slid the folder across the table for the Admiral to look over. "We can offer so much for one another that I think it would be a rather grand idea."
