Setting
Proud host of a pristine beach covered in smooth white sand, freckled by a few large boulders, and dozens of assorted seashells, the Bay is synonymous with luxury. This manicured beach looks out across the Solinus Sea, a glittering blue, and white-capped treasure of Terra. Here waves lap gently at the shore while boats, yatchs, and floating establishments battle for the best aquatic real estate. Welcome to paradise.
That said, the Bay has always drawn another sort of attention too..
On dark, overcast nights you can still hear the Old Legends at the right campfire. Legends that tell of a rare, once extinct fish within the waters of Solinus Bay. Many older fisherman will swear to have seen this legendary fish. It has translucent skin revealing the internal organs, and two unblinking white eyes. The movements of the fish are quick and graceful, almost like an angel of the sea.
Solinus Sea Eastern Bay
The eastern bay of the Solinus Sea. Resting just off of the beach, this area is a famous spot. Known for the massive reefs, great fishing, and old mystique The East Bay is experiencing a tourism boom. Even if vessels still vanish from time to time.

Asimov Zelazny walks along the beach, arriving from the east. He had been enjoying his time on this plane thus far, despite the deaths he had witnessed in his first hours. He rather enjoyed the beach, the previous plane he has departed from did not have such features. Although it had water, it did not have such vast amounts in one area. He remained a bit weary of getting to close as he was not accustomed to water and feared it. He stopped and knelt down, picking up a seashell as he peered out across the water, intrigued, as the sea breeze sent his long blue hair flying like a large torn banner.
Anzu peeks out from under the water, a seashell (the one Asimov was holding) was shining and it caught her attention. she then sees the man and her eyes widen with Curiosity. she smiles as she slowly moves towards the shore.
Asimov Zelazny stared across the water, when something caught his eye. Immediately, his ears stood up and his whole body went into full alert. He lunged forward, like a predator poised to strike and dropped the shell immediately. The hair on the top of his head stood up slightly as he let out a low growl.
Anzu stops moving as she sees him go into full alert. she goes under water and swims up to shore that way.
Asimov Zelazny raises up upon seeing her disappear under the water and inched closer to the shore, making sure to avoid the water. He sniffs the air and leans forward, ears laid back as he looks out at the place where she disappeared. "Where...?", he asked himself softly.
Asimov Zelazny notices the girl and inches closer, pulling his hands back from the water and stares at her curiously, the hair on his head dropping back down. "What are you?", he asked curiously as he pawed at the water. He backed up again and his ears perked up energetically as he began to show signs of playfulness.
Anzu "a.... mermaid, lionfish, mermaid." she smiles she wishes she could play with him, but she had no legs. her spikes go down as she knew he wasn't harmful.
Asimov Zelazny chuckled and sniffed at her again. "Murmur... Fish?", he attempted. He inched near the water again and smiled happily, "You're different, Murmur!"
Anzu smiles and chuckles "T-Thanks." she saw his ears and reaches up a hand to touch them "What are these?" she asked, talking about his ears.
Asimov Zelazny jolted suddenly, startled by her movements and then tilted his head for her to touch his ears. "Ears. You don't have ears?", he asked curiously. He looked at her and her tail, "You don't have legs..." He looked somewhat alarmed and asked, "Are you broken?"

*a helicopter can be heard coming from off in the distance, approaching and then eventually landing on the shore of the Solinus Sea*

Anzu 's headfins perk up as Asimov asked her. "No, i was just born like this," she said smiling. then jumps up startled by the helicopter.
Derek Malice let the rotors of the helicopter stop completely before stepping out. He took a deep breath in as the sea air that he planned on spending the next few days in on a fishing trip. A frown crossed his face as instead of his boat he found two individuals conversing.*
Asimov Zelazny jumped to his feet at the sound of the helicopter and hissed, baring his fangs. He glared at the helicopter, confused. He had never seen machinery and especially an aircraft. "Monster!", he shouted as he picked up a rock from the sandy beach and chucked it at the primary rotor of the helicopter.

*The rock would clank off the rotor, denting it, but not doing enough damage to hinder its flight as the rotor sent it flying off into the sand of the beach, the helicopter continuing it's descent the rotor dying down as it was turned off.*

Asimov Zelazny jumps again, startled by the girls touch. Upon realizing it was her and seeing the fear in her eyes, he returned his attention to the helicopter and bent low as if posed to leap. Bringing his arm behind his back, he growled a low throaty growl, as his hand clenched tightly as a few pebbles and grains of sand slowly levitated off the ground. He gritted his teeth and roared, slamming the hand on the ground and sending a wave of sand in the direction of the monstrosity.
Derek Malice stepped out of the helecopter just in time to be covered with a wave of sand and knocked back into it, caughing from the grains that made their way into his lungs.*
Asimov Zelazny stood up and stared at the helicopter at the wave hit. Immediately, he ran over closer to the machine and hissed at it. Sniffing the air and looking for the man that has exited, just prior to the impact.
Derek Malice lay in the sand a couple of feet from the door to the helecopter, leaning over and coughing trying to uphold his dignity, by wiping himself off, even as he was coughing up the sand.*
