a character in “The Night's Dance”, as played by DeathScythe386

Description

Image
"Hm? You know me? Ahaha, do you..?"

Name: Yoru Yurasaki
"Unexpected? Or not?"

Age: Appears 16, but his age is not known.
"That's not really for you to find out, now."

Gender: Male
"Oh no. I can make myself look female. Oh sorry, I was being sarcastic."

Role: The Spirit Dancer
"Okay, you have me now. Nope! Just kidding. I lied~"

Theme Song (Optional): DECO*27 - Delusion Tax (Hatsune Miku)
"Heh, pay up the delusion tax~"

"Basic information and all that crap the humans these days try to gather about me."

Image

Personality: Yoru won't really trust anyone, but he loves to mess around with people by lying to them. If he gets the chance to go outside, you'll most likely find him sitting in alleys with a black spray can in hand, just humming a song to himself. Despite his laid-back aura and friendliness to others, he is actually secretly quite sadistic, but never goes far from basic cuts that bleed little. He likes dominating, so he will never go down without a fight.
("Heheheh....Your eyes are mine, dear.")

Appearance: Yoru is a young man with pale blonde hair, and golden, cat-like eyes according to some. When he has the chance to go out and there's no ball event, he usually wears a black hoodie and under it, a brown stringed shirt that is tucked into his pants. He normally has a black belt on, and dark, strapped boots that reach his shins. On rare occasions, he wears a tuxedo. His eyes flash red when he gets angry.

History: Not much is known about Yoru, being that he is the Spirit Dancer himself. Rumors are that he was killed by his own partner during a ball, and that he's simply a ghost that wants to exact revenge on them. But according to him, he's just "killing time". But it's also unknown why he chose to dwell in an abandoned theater of all places. He wasn't exactly in the best condition when he was alive, of course-- But maybe, that's for another time. Some also claim to have seen him, including a girl with dark brown hair, who was even carrying a vase. She saw him dancing with a corpse, or as he already knows, a spirit. ("Can't say I was dancing with my dead sister. Shame she died.") And another case that someone saw him was a 16 year old girl with a fearsome glare and what looked like her little sister behind her. ("Ahh~ She saw me when I was harvesting a spirit from their house! Tsubaki, was it?") A part of his history that isn't known to the others, was when he was still alive.

He used to be very close with his older sister. He always usually felt that she was the only one he could lean on, and he was sure she returned the feeling. However, he came to hate the people who would dare touch his sister, becoming an protective brother. He picked up his habit of spiriting away and- sometimes- keeping prisoners when...

("No, don't you dare!!")

His sister died, by the same means he takes people. After her death, Yoru was extremely depressed, and after 5 days, he killed himself, leaving only a bloody knife and a mask he always wore whenever he went to dances with his sister. A single note was there.

"My dear sister, I'm coming for you."

What drew you into investigating the mystery?:
"Heh, I am the mystery."

RP Sample: A laugh echoed through the room, startling the group. "Bravo! Getting through the spirit guards like that...Haha! Bravo!" As they looked up, they saw a man with pale blonde hair, crouching on one of the beams. "They were getting annoying anyway, locking me in this place." Yoru jumped down, unscathed. He dusted off his shirt and stared at them with a grin on his face. "I'm assuming you've heard of me, hm?" He smirked, as one of them started approaching, asking him questions. He simply laughed again. "If you want to get information from me, you'll have to get it out of my cold, dead hands." Then he gasped. "Oh right, I'm already dead." He cackled after this. Then he disappeared, appearing behind the leader and startling her. "Darling, let's play a game of hide-and-seek. If you find me, you get my information." Then he grinned wider.

"If you lose, though, well, you're dancing with me tonight, dear~" With a wave of his arm, he disappeared again.

"Well then, let's play, shall we~?"

"You ever even thought of researching instead of asking me?"

Image

Other Information (Optional):
"Eh~? You wanna know more? Go ahead and try to, I'm assuming you've done your research."

His likes:
  • His own prisoner. "I don't know, she's just so...fun..."
  • Sweets...
  • Toying with others.

His dislikes:
  • Being found out. "Honestly, it's frustrating."
  • Anything sour.
  • Drunk guys.

Skills:
  • Lying- He's a complete actor. He even knows how to do a perfect imitation of a selected person.
  • Violinist- He plays the violin at random times. It's mostly for casual stuff.
  • Hiding- He knows how to hide well, and sometimes even the spirits can't find him.
  • Self-Regeneration- Being a spirit, you can cut off his arm and it'll grow back instantly. He hates getting hurt though.
  • Teleportation- He can practically teleport himself to any place inside the theater. The Spirits have the ability to block this move, so he can only teleport inside the theater. If let out, though, he can use this ability there, too.
  • Self-Defense- Even as a spirit, Yoru still has fighting ability and can go head-to-head and toe-to-toe with the 5 Guardian Spirits.
  • Transformation- Yoru can take the form of anyone, as a part of his lying ability. Most of the time, they find him as a black cat, glaring with red eyes, or a ragdoll that looks like him with a zipper for a mouth.
(More added as the roleplay progresses.)

Trivia:
  • Unfortunately for Boy X Boy lovers, Yoru refuses to dance with men. "Funny how I'm one, and I hate them. My poor sister..."
  • He used to live at Misaki's house. Years ago.
  • The others assume he is a yandere, and when someone mentions his sister he immediately draws a knife and points it at the person.
  • It is completely unknown if he loves anyone, but he sure likes to tease the group's leader, Tsubaki, and the other spirits.

So begins...

"Ahh, there's nothing to do again today, huh?"

A figure was saying, in a very bored tone. A boy, who looked as if he was 16 years old leaned against a seat in the theater. He was looking up at the ceiling, that no one could see his face, unless they looked at him from the back. He snapped forward, strands of pale blonde hair flying forward as a black hood soon came to cover his head. "So boring in here. It's almost maddening." He kicked off, landing on his feet and starting to walk around. The guardians were patrolling, anyway, so--

Wait. The guardians were patrolling.

"That means the barrier's not up!" He thought as he looked at the doors. They weren't there. Grinning, he focused himself and, in a cloud of darkness, he disappeared from inside the theater and reappeared outside. He smirked. "Score for Yurasaki." He then dug around in his jacket pockets and took out a black spray can, grinning at the glare that the full moon gave it. "Today may not be as boring as I thought." Yoru whispered to himself as he ran away from the theater before any of the Spirit Guardians found him.

"Just another day for the black sheep of the Hayashi family."

Tsubaki thought as she finished packing the numerous crayons scattered around the room into the old toolbox that they now used as a crayon case of some sorts. She wiped some sweat off her brow, and looked at the sleeping child on the table. She sighed and poked the little girl a few times. "Hana. Hana. Wake up." The girl muttered something- gibberish, Tsubaki had thought- and then said, "Five more minutes."

"You've been asleep for 20 minutes and counting, and if you don't wake up soon, you'll miss the lights." The girl immediately sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Onee-chan.." Tsubaki crossed her arms over her chest and sighed. "They appear at 9:30, right?" Hana nodded enthusiastically. "Let's go to my room. I have a better view in my window." The little girl leaped off her chair and started trotting up the stairs, nearly tripping. Tsubaki caught her and lifted her bridal style, smirking as the girl laughed sweetly.

She placed Hana down on the armchair she had conveniently placed near the window so she could read and look at the sky and think all at the same time. As Hana looked out the window, she walked over to the fridge in her room. Since she barely went out except for school, most of the normal things she needed was there, in her room. Fridge, food, a small kitchen, hell, she even had her own bathroom. Bookshelves were lined on one side, and near her bed sat a few plushies and dolls Hana was learning to make. Her computer- used for research- was also at one corner, near the bookshelves. Digging around in the fridge, she pulled out a small red and white bottle, and another, a can of soda. The soda was for her, of course, since she was warned not to let Hana drink the "acid". Milk was for the little girl sitting at her armchair, since Hana had told her, "I wanna be as tall as Onee-chan!" and she knew that she also liked milk since it was creamy and cool.

She walked over to Hana and handed the red and white bottle to her, opening the can after lifting Hana and letting the child sit in her lap. The younger one took small sips from the creamy milk while Tsubaki took swigs from the can. "Look! Look, Onee-chan! It's there!" Hana pointed at the fireflies that started coming up. They looked like snow falling from the sky, except they were going up. She smiled softly. It was calming to her, how they went up. Like her spirits, when she was pumped up to fight.

When the light show ended, Hana had fallen asleep. Tsubaki carried her again, put the half-finished bottle of milk away, and brought her back to her room. After tucking the little girl in and slipping a teddy bear into her arms, she went back to her room and looked out the window.

"That light show got my spirits up, so.."

She stretched and went to the corner, booting up her computer and quickly sending all her groupmates for the thesis e-mails, each containing the same message.

"Hey, it's me, Tsubaki. You feel like coming over tomorrow, after school? Let's discuss the subject of our thesis and see what information we gathered." She leaned back and waited for the replies, looking at the full moon.

"Let's see what the night brings, and if you come again, Mr. Spirit Dancer." She dared.

Namid frowned slightly as she pulled herself up into a sitting position. She had fallen asleep in one of the theatres many rooms as she had been looking for a window, a door, some way out into the real world again. Her back and neck hurt from where she had curled up on a set of viewing couches that overlooked the main stage.

Shrugging it off, she yawned and scratch before glancing down. Gasping, she quickly ducked down as she saw one of the spirits patrolling the building. They didn't do it all the time and she could never figure out why they did, but their patrolling normally meant one thing. He was out.

Smiling, she quickly pulled herself up and began to make her way through the halls, looking into a few rooms as she passed them, trying to find Al. It wasn't often Yoru was out and it often meant he would be returning with another victim who had fallen for her trap.

The only chance she really ever got to try and escape was when he was out. The Spirits would sometimes get distracted when they noticed him missing and Nami would be able to enter parts of the Theater normally under guard.

He was getting out somehow and Nami would find it even if it killed her. Suddenly she halted as she backed up and looked into one of the rooms she had walked past. Inside she found the younger prisoner boy she had taken to calling Al and had grown to like when considering her only other company were 5 spirits and a deranged maniac that liked to keep people as toys...

"Hay Al, guess who's out for the day and probably won't be back for a while!", she called out to the boy as she entered the room, slinging her arms around his shoulders and smiling down at him.

Aoi woke up from her sleep and stretched her limbs, shooting a glance at every direction of that old, decrepit theater. She walked around by the windows, wondering at how quiet the place is right now. The darkness that engulfed the place reminded her that it was nighttime and the Spirit Dancer always tries to get out during long, boring times like this.

She walked outside and saw the ethereal cloak, which was some sort of trap she placed in case the barrier's down, was a little distorted, signalling that someone left the area. "It was probably Yoru." She thought. Some of her fellow guardians are quite tough on the guy. Not her though. She usually lets him go whenever he wants to.

"Oh well." She sighed as she headed back inside, after setting up the barrier again before the others go into a panic. She may be too late though.

"Open your eyes...

A silent whisper throughout the darkness of their current house woke Misaki up, as she rubbed her eyes, trying to ward off sleep. She got out of her bed and slipped on her slippers, looking for whoever said that to her. The sound was too surreal; it had er doubting whether it was a dream or not.

She went down to the kitchen and looked around, the light of the moon providing her with enough illumination to see clearly. It can also work against her, in this situation, if it had come from any rouge that managed to get in her house that time. Well, it depends if he was mortal or not.

She walked by the chairs and tables, standing like statues in the dark. No sign of anything. She even opened the fridge, (Yeah, as if some burglar was going to fit let alone hide in one.) but no luck. "Maybe it was a dream after all..." She thought as she made her way back to her room. Suddenly, a shadowy figure darted in her peripheral as she was climbing the stairs. It was a fleeting apparition, lasting only a split second. Still, she felt chills run up her spine, so she hurried on.

She reached the safety of the covers and willed herself to sleep. By sheer force of will, she managed to doze off. Next morning though, she woke up feeling a bit nauseous. She asked her mom to tell the teachers that she was feeling sick, which her mom also acknowledged. She laid on the bed again, feeling a little guilty on the inside. She knows that their grouping for their papers will be decided today so they could start on it during vacation. She regretted not being able to make it but hopefully, she'll make up for it tomorrow.

Siren felt a shudder go down her spine as she felt the monster slip away. She grit her teeth, obviously annoyed.
'Damn... If I had just kept a closer eye on him.'
Aoi was the one who raised up the barrier. Siren smiled and nodded her thanks to the blue spirit. Her smile then faded as she continued to patrol the area.
"Spirit Dancer..."
The mention of his name brought a bitter taste in her mouth. She continued to walk when she saw a girl with long blonde hair walking home alone. Normally, Siren wouldn't care about another human, but this one seemed to be one of her triggers to bring back her memories.
"Guys, I'll be supervising a girl with long blonde hair. I'll keep safe so please do the same."
Siren then sent the message to her fellow spirits and trailed after the girl with long blonde hair.

Amiya walked home alone late at night. Her eyes were filled with tears as she walked. Being alone both frightened her and furthered her depression. She would be forgotten and the thought made her depressed. Other than that, it had been an eventful day. She had gotten back from the mall and put most of her money to charity while some of it she decided to spend for herself since it was her birthday. She was about to make a left to go to the street near her house when in the corner of her eye, she saw a man with pale blonde hair leaking out from a black hoodie. He seemed to be running away and that thought worried her.
'Is he being abused?! What is he running from?'
Amiya could then feel a scary prescence behind her. Nearly screaming, she ran as fast as she could... and bumping into the man with pale blonde hair in the process. Amiya quickly wiped away stray tears.
"I'm sorry! I just felt someone follow me and-"
Amiya stopped when she got a better look at the man's face. In addition to his blonde hair, he had golden eyes that resembled a cat's. Completely forgetting her fear, she let out a squeal of delight and hugged the man tightly.
"You're so cute with your cat eyes~!"
Amiya then realized what she did and stopped, blushing brightly.
"Was that too much...? Ah! We need too get out of here!! That guy that was following me may still be here! Come on! Oh, I'm Amiya by the way!"
Amiya grabbed the man's hand and continued to run.

After running for what seemed like an hour, Amiya and the boy found an alleyway to hide from the odd prescence.
"We should be safe here..."
Her phone buzzed and she saw that she had two e-mails. One from Tsubaki Hayashi and the other from Kyon Mitzizumi. Her eyes widened when she saw those names.
"Ah, sorry but I have to check these out..."
Amiya checked out Tsubaki's e-mail first.

"Hey, it's me, Tsubaki. You feel like coming over tomorrow, after school? Let's discuss the subject of our thesis and see what information we gathered."
Amiya smiled a bit. She always regarded Tsubaki as a second mom and admired how she stood up for herself. Amiya then checked out Kyon's e-mail.
"Sure, I'll need an address though. How long are we thinking?

-Kyon"

Amiya giggled a bit. Kyon was as blunt as ever. She always thought Kyon hated her and just never spoke it aloud. The sick part was that Amiya was okay with being hated. As long as she was remembered, she was okay with all opinions of her. Amiya thought about her response a bit before typing it out.
"Hi, Tsubaki-chan, Kyon-kun, Eiko-chan, Takamori-kun, Misaki-chan, Kiyone-chan~
I'd be okay to stay however long it takes and wherever we decide to go. My mom and dad are out on a buisness trip... again... Ah, but I'm okay with it! Ehehe~ But if we do stay at my place, please be gentle with the house. I don't want them to be mad at me for cracks in the wall. Thanks~
Love you all~
Amiya"

Amiya pressed send and the message was delivered instantly. Amiya then remembered the boy with pale blonde hair was still there.
"Sorry. A bunch of friends and I are doing a thesis and we were just confirming a meeting place. Are you going to be okay? I could help you get home if you want."

Siren lost track of the girl once she made a sharp turn with the Spirit Dancer. She seemed unaware of what that beast was capable of. Siren eventually stopped running. She closed her eyes and opened up her other senses. That was one of the perks of being dead; you were able to be a part of everything. Once she felt the cell phone vibrations, she knew exactly where to go. Siren ran over to the alleyway and heard the girl ask that monster a question.
"I could help you get home if you want."
Siren drew back her bowstring and fired it at the Spirit Dancer.
"Get away from it. It will only hurt you."
Siren stared at the blonde with cold purple eyes. She could see the girl start to tremble. Siren sighed a bit.
"I'll only harm you if you force my hand so get away from that monster now."
The blonde stood up and then got in the way of the spirit dancer.
"Are you an idiot?"
The blonde stood her ground.
"Why are you doing this to him? And how do you know for sure that he's a monster?! For all you know, you could be the monster! Attacking someone out of nowhere and for no reason; that seems like something a monster would do to me!"
Siren's eyes narrowed.
"You really are ignorant. The others may not like this but you've forced my hand."
Siren then took aim at the ignorant blonde.

Amiya was shaking but she wouldn't leave. If she got hurt then she got hurt. She wouldn't stand by and watch someone who looked nice getting hurt. Amiya smiled at the blonde man.
"Don't worry, I won't let her hurt you."
Amiya then faced the black haired girl and closed her eyes, bracing for impact.

Yoru blinked two times when the girl hugged him earlier, and in a flash- and without him even speaking a single word- she had dragged him away. "H-Hey.." They had ran into an alleyway, and this time the girl told him various things, and even got an e-mail. From his sharp senses, he had seen a familiar name- 'Tsubaki Hayashi? Wasn't she...' He remembered the girl who glared at him with a baseball bat in hand back then. He had only motioned to her to be quiet, but deep down, he was partially panicked. He was about to ask her something but--

An arrow was fired and he immediately jumped to his feet, dodging. The arrow only grazed a part of his hood, but blew it back, his pale blonde hair fully shining now. He stared at the Spirit Guard for a while. "Huh, it's just you, Siren." He muttered, staring at her with his taunting, golden eyes.

"Get away from it. It will only hurt you." Siren had said to the girl beside him. Yoru grinned at her. "That's not very nice, Siren. I'm still a human." "I'll only harm you if you force my hand so get away from that monster now." He smirked. He knew Siren was one of the most irritable Spirit Guards, and he's not losing the chance to annoy her. Besides, she was fun to tease. "You're exaggerating, seriously." He snickered.

The girl that had been with him told him that she wouldn't let Siren hurt him, but he smiled back instead. "Don't worry, I got this." He moved in front of her, taking taunting steps forward, until he was directly in front of Siren. He grabbed her hand with a dark grin.

"You do know you can't harm me, right?"

On the other hand, Tsubaki got a reply from Kyon and Amiya. She checked her inbox, reading their messages as she sipped her soda.

"Sure, I'll need an address though. How long are we thinking?

-Kyon"

"Hi, Tsubaki-chan, Kyon-kun, Eiko-chan, Takamori-kun, Misaki-chan, Kiyone-chan~
I'd be okay to stay however long it takes and wherever we decide to go. My mom and dad are out on a buisness trip... again... Ah, but I'm okay with it! Ehehe~ But if we do stay at my place, please be gentle with the house. I don't want them to be mad at me for cracks in the wall. Thanks~
Love you all~
Amiya"

Tsubaki smiled a little. Kyon was straight-to-the-point as ever, while Amiya was still sweet to them. Sometimes Tsubaki envied how she could be so kind to the others. A friend of hers once told her, "It's because you're always glaring at everyone that they're too scared to talk to you!" and needless to say, Tsubaki took it to heart, but still kept up her glare.

She quickly started typing away at her keyboard, sending them her replies.

"Why don't you guys tag along with me when we go home tomorrow, after school? Let's discuss it at my house. And if we want to get the thesis done in time, it would be nice if we got a subject decided at the meeting tomorrow. Because we're probably going to have to do a hell-lot of research."

She hit send and waited again. "I already have a topic in mind, so if anyone else suggests it, I guess I'll get some information on it.." She thought and started doing advanced research on the one she was looking for. "Spirit Dancer, huh...I wonder if you're related to that girl who was murdered that time..." She muttered, remembering the event. At a ballroom, someone was murdered after being whisked away by her partner. Her little brother, who had the finest shade of blonde for his hair and golden cat-like eyes went after her, but when she followed him out of curiosity....

The last thing they saw was a bloody corpse before she passed out.

"Ah, damn, I'm reminiscing again..."

"You do know you can't harm me, right?"
Siren's left eye twitched. Yoru always knew how to annoy her. She took a deep breath.
'Patience, Siren... Two can play at this...'
"How unusual of you. Don't tell me that you intend to dance with her? I refuse to let that happen!"
Siren then shook her hand away from Yoru's grasp and jumped back a bit, getting farther away from the alley and hoping that he would follow her.
'I won't let that girl get harmed by him.'

Amiya was confused about everything that was happening. The blonde man was teasing the dark haired girl, Siren, and she was trying to lead him away for some reason. Amiya blinked and tried to understand. Were they enemies? Who was the good guy and why did they hate each other so much? Why does the blonde boy say that Siren can't harm her? Needless to say, Amiya was pretty terrified but she didn't want to leave him if he needed her help... The blonde man said he could handle it though... Amiya took a deep breath and said
"I'll only be in the way, huh...? I'm sorry for being useless... I'll get out of the way. But, let's meet again one day, okay?"
Amiya then ran straight to her home. Tears built in the corner of her eyes as she sat down in the empty kitchen. Her computer chimed, signaling that she got another e-mail.

"Why don't you guys tag along with me when we go home tomorrow, after school? Let's discuss it at my house. And if we want to get the thesis done in time, it would be nice if we got a subject decided at the meeting tomorrow. Because we're probably going to have to do a hell-lot of research."
Amiya sighed in relief. Tsubaki seemed to come at the right moment to cheer her up. Amiya stretched and begun typing.
"Alright, Tsubaki-chan, it's a date! Ah, not like that though... Have a good night, Tsubaki-chan~
Amiya

Amiya sighed as she sent the e-mail. She then washed up and went to bed, having a dreamless night again.

Yoru smirked. He knew he was getting on her nerves. She backed up, away from him and he stood in place, his head hanging to one side with a grin.

"I'll only be in the way, huh...? I'm sorry for being useless... I'll get out of the way. But, let's meet again one day, okay?" The girl behind him said. He turned around. "By the way, before you leave, thanks for saving me. I was getting chased all the same." Then he looked back at Siren. Then he remembered what she said to him.

""How unusual of you. Don't tell me that you intend to dance with her? I refuse to let that happen!"

"Aww, how cute, Siren. Don't tell me you're jealous?" He snapped his fingers, disappearing, and taking advantage of the situation, he slipped behind her and reappeared, a hand coming up to cover her eyes. "Heh~ Gotcha~"

"Alright, Tsubaki-chan, it's a date! Ah, not like that though... Have a good night, Tsubaki-chan~
Amiya"

Tsubaki leaned back and typed a final reply.

"Alright. Good night to you to, Ami."

She continued her research, until the late hours of the night. Turning off the computer, she flopped into bed, sighing.

"Let's see what tomorrow brings, shall we?"

Siren growled a bit.
"Not. Funny."
Then she spun out of the Spirit Dancer's grip and aimed her bow and arrow at him.
"Tch, I don't have time for this."
Siren closed her eyes.
'Sisters, I'm in need of assistance. The Spirit Dancer and I are at a disagreement and I would appreciate any and all help.'
When she opened her eyes, the message was sent to the spirit's minds. She then put down the bow and arrow.
"Now that the human is gone, I have no reason to hold back. I can't harm you but you can't harm me, either. Funny how things balance out."
Siren trained her ears to listen in for the Spirit Dancer so she could tackle him.

Feeling a little better after resting her head for a couple of hours, Misaki felt well enough to come downstairs and have lunch--well, brunch actually. She checked her phone and saw her unread messages. As she ran through them one-by-one, her mom approached her and asked her what she'd like to eat.

"It's a little late but, can I have some omelets?" She requested to which her mom agreed. Her parents are actually nice; she only wished that they could somehow acknowledge the fact that she is not normal. Her food was served and she reached Tsubaki's email in the middle of her meal.

"Hey, it's me, Tsubaki. You feel like coming over tomorrow, after school? Let's discuss the subject of our thesis and see what information we gathered."

She typed on her keys, jotting down a response. "Sorry. I'm feeling a bit under the weather today. You can decide ahead if you want, really sorry Tsubaki-chan, I'll make up for it the day after tomorrow. :(" She hesitated for a moment before sending. She thought about how the others would react. She wasn't particularly close to anyone because she isn't normal. She finally made up her mind and sent it to their leader, Tsubaki Hayashi.

She always found Tsubaki as the no-nonsense, hot-tempered girl who would probably beat her to a pulp if she gets annoyed enough. So she really felt the need to properly state her reasons for being absent.

Aoi was suddenly jerked into awareness because of a distress call coming from Siren. Apparently, she and the Spirit Dancer have some sort of disagreement, she says. She sighed and immediately departed to their location, tracking them using her instincts and the directions from which she felt the vibrations.

Arriving at the spot, she managed to utilize the cover of darkness and the natural shadows during that time to sneak up to Yoru. Truth be told, she didn't really harbor any animosity towards the guy but, she does feel the need to step in sometimes, if he gets out of hand. Launching a surprise attack by kicking Yoru in the back of his head as she saw Siren put down the bow and arrow, she pinned him down on the ground and held him within close range of her knife.

She sighed as she edged the knife close to Yoru's throat. She turned to Siren and spoke. "Well? What kind of disagreement is it this time?" She asked, keeping the idiot on the ground with her arm and legs.

Siren sighed in relief when Aoi got her distress call. The two may not talk much but Siren regarded her as a friend all the same.
"That monster was near another human. I had to take action so it wouldn't harm her. The plan worked but it started to tease me. It knows that I hate when it does that!"
Siren glared at the Spirit Dancer.
"Was I correct? Were you going to dance with her?"

"Sisters, I'm in need of assistance. The Spirit Dancer and I are at a disagreement and I would appreciate any and all help."

Alastrina pauses, closing her eyes with a sigh at Siren's words. A "disagreement?" That could be anything, was it really worth calling alarm? All the same, she knows deep within herself that Siren wouldn't raise an alarm for nothing. Something is up, something not good at all.

Even though she wants to help, Alastrina knows that she cannot allow Yuro to see her, and that dwelling - even invisible - in his prescence is risky at best. Yet she knows she must help, and therefore turns to her gifts.

Alastrina twists her right wrist in an ascending motion, causing a misty, transluctant, colorless copy of Siren herself to arise in front of her, bow and all. Reaching within the figure she had created, the Pink Spirit pulls a handful of mist from the Siren replica, creating another. She repeats the process until four Siren replicas stand before her.

"I am afraid that I am preoccupied, Sister," she speaks out loud as she pushes the thought to Siren. "However, I will send assistance, in my own way. You will know when the help I have promised arrives."

Frowning, Alastrina hopes desperately against hope that the other Spirit Guardians don't notice her unwillingness to appear before Yoru, instead helping discreetly from the shadows. But without a doubt, they will notice eventually.

Snapping her fingers, Alastrina allows the four Sirens to disappear before her eyes, to transport to help the real Siren. She opens a viewing port - part of her gift - in front of her to watch the proceedings.

The Siren replicas each stand to a side of Yoru - one behind, one in front, one to the left, and one to the right. The each raise their bows and speak in unison, but the voice is not Siren's or Alastrina's, even though the latter is controlling their words, their robotic voices. "You've had your fun, Dancer. Kindly return with Aoi and Siren. I promise my Sisters will cause you no annoyance. You must return at some point, and my eyes are always on you. My Sisters and I cannot cause you pain, true. But beware of the pain you can cause yourself in the world of the living. Be wise."

Amiya awoke slowly at around 4 in the morning. Stretching, she decided to make herself some breakfast. There was some cereal so she just made that. She would probably have to restock her fridge. Amiya then remembered the blonde boy thanking her for saving him. Amiya blushed a bit then shook her head.
'Who is he anyway...? And why did that girl hate him so much? She looked familiar...'
Amiya couldn't quite put her finger on why that girl looked familiar.
'Maybe she was someone I knew in some kind of dream.'
Amiya then looked at the clock. She had three hours to kill before school started. Her phone rang and she answered it.
"Hello? Ah, Mom! Yeah, everything's going well so far~ I'm getting good grades and I even made a few new friends..."
Amiya continued to talk for an hour until her mom hung up to get back to work. Amiya sadly sighed, feeling alone again. Standing up, she decided to get ready for school.

School breezed by. There were mentions of something called a Spirit Dancer but Amiya never heard of him before.
'Maybe he's a nice guy...'
For whatever reason, her mind flashed to the boy in the hoodie.
'I hope he's okay.'
In the corner of her eye, she saw Tsubaki walk past her classroom. She smiled and said
"Tsubaki-chan~"
Then proceeded to give her a hug.
"Hi! How was your day today?"

#, as written by Soulies
Liberia Cross

Liberia moved throughout the halls, her every movement a notion in itself. It was amazing on how graceful she appeared, even when her mind was somewhere else. However This wasn't irregular since this was Liberia- The graceful lady of the spirits. It was a reputation she holds dearly and naturally~ 'Anywho..'Image
Looking around, she saw no sight of her sisters. 'Probably aware of the night dancer already.' She thought, and on cue-

'Sisters, I'm in need of assistance. The Spirit Dancer and I are at a disagreement and I would appreciate any and all help.'

Her lips tightened and she flipped her hair, irritated. "Again?" She took a graceful step forward towards a large room suddenly she curtsied. How odd? Two rifles slipped out, and in a blink both turned into blonde haired women- similar to Liberia. This "personas" were her ladies in waiting (or so she called them), their eyes, their life, their voice, and their hearing were all connected to her. So she could hear and see everything they did. Useful weapons.
Smiling at them, They both bowed, and with a flick of Liberia's wrist they disappeared. Suddenly they appeared before Siren, and as they did she heard the words, Human and Dance. Only one thing can come out of those two words. Thus Her golden eyes flared but a pleased lady like smile remained on her face. "Again Yoru?" The two women's mouth opened mimicking her own- like a radio. The two weapons voice was in unison, their expression developing into Liberia's. Their eyes darkened and their smile started to turn ominous- "Really?" Her voice slipped out of their mouths again. "Come back, don't cause trouble."

She sat down and waved her hand around. A tea cup appeared before her and she took a sip while watching the scene from her two weapon's eyes. How irritating.

"Oh.....wow." Yoru muttered, sweat rolling down his face when- almost- all the spirits appeared. Right now, there were 5 Sirens, one Aoi, and two Liberias. Or maybe they were her ladies in waiting, and the other 4 Sirens were just Alastrina's illusions. Either way, he didn't care, he was screwed anyway. Groaning, he struggled to look up at them. "Why.. is it that whenever I get caught with a girl you immediately assume I'm going to dance with her!? What the hell, there's not even an event!" He shouted, not minding the dark looks the others must be giving him. "Alright, I'll tell the truth only this time. That girl just randomly dragged me away in to the alley, okay?! Siren, what the hell were you thinking!?"

He glared at them before bowing his head and concentrating. The blonde disappeared, and then- It depended if the Spirits don't easily notice animals- what they didn't knew, was that the boy had teleported to a location a little far from them and turned himself into a cat, scampering away before they found him again.

Tsubaki woke up, staring directly at the ceiling. She slipped a hand under her green bangs, sighing. "What time is it..?" Glancing at the clock on her bedside table, she saw that it was 4:00 AM. "It's still so early.." "Either way, I'm still going to school anyway, so why not?" She sat up and started off, freshening up with a shower before making herself breakfast downstairs. Before she ate, though, she ran back upstairs and started knocking on one of the more familiar known doors to her. "Hana. Oi, Hana!" Opening the door, she gently pulled the covers off of the girl. "Hey, it's time to wake up." Her little sister yawned, stretched and sleepily sat up.

"Meet me downstairs for breakfast, alright?" Tsubaki left the room and ate ahead of her little sister. Checking her inbox for one more time before she left for school, she found an e-mail from Misaki.

"Sorry. I'm feeling a bit under the weather today. You can decide ahead if you want, really sorry Tsubaki-chan, I'll make up for it the day after tomorrow. :("

"It's alright. We'll inform you the next time you come to the meeting, if you ever do. Just kidding."

She decided to head out to school. After patting Hana's head and fixing her hair a little bit more, she left. As she reached the school, she had started to walk past Amiya's classroom when--

"Tsubaki-chan~"

And after that short calling of her name a pair of arms wrapped around her. "Oh, hey, morning, Ami." She greeted. The girl asked her about her day.

"Pretty normal, wake up and such, the usual." She replied. "Meeting at my house later, to remind you." She said with a slight smile.

Siren felt her face flush at her mistake.
"I... I'm sorry..."
Suddenly, her eyes widened. There was a huge pain that flared in her head.
(Flashback)
"-----, what were you thinking?!"
A girl with black hair ran over to the young girl with blonde hair laying on the ground. The girl's concern was obvious and her purple eyes shone with tears.
"Hehehe~ Sorry, -----, but I saw the tree and I just had to climb it! Besides, I should climb at least one tree in my life!"
"But your knee is all scratched up... We need to get you to a doctor!"
"You're such a worrywart, -----. I told you that I'll be okay. You gotta trust in me more."
"But..."
The blonde hugged the dark haired girl.
"I'm fine..."
The dark haired girl finally smiled.
"Okay... My sis should almost be done with her studies."
"Then we'll meet up tomorrow. Bye-bye!"
The dark haired girl watched as her friend left, a small smile on her face.

(End of flashback)
Siren's pain faded as soon as the memory ended. A small and shaky smile was on her face in addition to tears.
'There was no mention of a name anywhere... But, that blonde girl... Could she be connected to the one who drug the Spirit Dancer in the alley...? So many questions...'
Siren stood up and wiped away her tears.
"Sorry... I just gained another memory so the day wasn't a complete loss... Either way, I accept responsibility for my mistake."

Amiya smiled back at Tsubaki.
"Thank you for the reminder. Have a good day~"
Amiya then let go of Tsubaki and walked back to her seat. Looking at the class board, she prepared for morning exercises and got out her homework.

During free period, Amiya decided to check up on this Spirit Dancer. Walking over to the library, she found an available computer and decided to Google the Spirit Dancer. Many results popped up, most of them are linked to missing person's reports. One subject that caught her eye was the rumor that his partner killed him and he was just exacting revenge.
"What a horrible thing to happen to someone... But violence isn't the answer. Maybe I can help him...?"
Amiya doubted it. Another interesting thing was that none of the results showed his face.
"I wonder what he looks like."
Amiya got up from her chair and started to walk back to class. On her way she saw a cat. She smiled and waved hello at it before walking away.
'I'll feed it later before I meet up with the others. If it's still there...'

"He managed to get away huh..." Aoi witnessed Yoru shift into a cat and slide out from beneath her. "Well, whatever. We can't find him now." She told the other Spirits, though she was also aware of how Siren cringed at Yoru's outburst just now. She walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Don't let him get to you. You are the ones keeping him in check after all." She slowly let go then turned to return to the theater.

Along the way, she passed by a cat scampering away from the scene. "Must be Yoru." She sighed and passed him by without paying much attention. Arriving at the theater, she made her way back to her usual spot: The VIP lounge. She dropped her head on the makeshift bed she set up there and lied down, thinking about the days events.

"Siren had a memory come back to her. So why can't I?" Aoi sighed in defeat. Hearing Siren mention something about her memories coming back made her a bit jealous, she admits to herself.

"It's alright. We'll inform you the next time you come to the meeting, if you ever do. Just kidding."

Misaki breathed in relief. She never knew Tsubaki could make jokes like that. She always thought of her as a person who means what she says and is usually frank, to the point of being rude. Having finished her meal, she brought out the old photo album she unearthed. The police let them keep it after failing to find any relatives to the people in the photo. They took the urn though.

She flipped through the pages, seeing landscapes of an old time, reminding her somewhat of the old Victorian era in England. Her eyes fixated again on the image of the girl she saw one night.

"She really does look like me..." Misaki thought as she stared at the face of the woman, whose beautiful visage survived the tests of time, preserving herself in the dry pages of a photo album. Misaki flipped through some more pages of impressive landscape shots. An ancient carnival, steam trains, old cities, a theater etc... Just then an idea struck her.

"Hey! Maybe I can bring this tomorrow and suggest that we do one on preserving photographs!" She exclaimed in excitement. "B-but, m-maybe t-they'll laugh at the idea..." She suddenly felt a bit nervous. It would be the first time she would be talking to others in a long while.

Yoru had started running back home before any of the Spirit Guardians- No, he wasn't gonna let them find him this time- and reached the the theater, panting as he had suddenly had an outburst at Siren and he transformed himself into a cat. Of course his legs were aching from all that running as his figure started to change, turning from a cat into his real figure as he stumbled into the theater. His black hood was blown back by a gust of air as he practically heaved his tired- and slightly battered and bruised- body to the door. He didn't even bother completing his transformation so a pair of cat ears stood up straight and proud from his head and a tail was swaying stiffly behind him. He kicked the door open, letting the others still in the theater hear it. So that they knew that the Spirit Dancer was back, and he wasn't in much of a good mood.

The tired boy practically collapsed as he entered. He even barely managed a "I'm back" to the others in the theater. Shutting the doors behind him he started to enter one of the larger rooms, and as he did, he noticed two of his prisoners, and Liberia. He rolled his eyes. "Great." He muttered. "I just got back from the other spirits half-torturing me based on a false accusation, and now I have to deal with her."

Tsubaki sighed at Eiko's tardiness. "Yep, definitely late again." The rest of the day in her classroom was pretty much boring- only the loud voice of her teacher kept her awake. She even nearly fell asleep but her seatmate shook her awake, nearly landing her in trouble with the teacher. "I'll have to pay her back." She made a mental note to herself. During her free time, she went back to her research. Some of the rumors about the Spirit Dancer made no sense to her or looked pretty much cliche, so she sighed in frustration. "Damn these rumors. I'm not getting any information with this."

As the bell rung for them to leave, Tsubaki started packing up her things and preparing her mind for tons of people in her room later. Misaki couldn't come, though, so she decided she'll tell her when she comes around. If she doesn't, then she'd e-mail her. Hopefully the girl would come next time, though. She really appreciated it when she asked Misaki for her opinion- Even if she was easily scared and was extremely cautious, she still had a logical and rational mind in making decisions.

She spotted Amiya and another girl up ahead, but she had something to do before she left for their discussion. Disappearing into an alley she smirked as she started to execute her plan for revenge on the person who shook her awake just a while ago. After a few minutes, she left, running over to Amiya. "Hey." She greeted with her normal, monotone voice. Again, after about 5 minutes, her phone started ringing. "Excuse me." She walked away from them, turning her back on them, and answering.

"TSUBAKI!!!!!!!!!!!" "I know, love you too Shinya." She stated bluntly, trying to hold back a snicker. "DID YOU JUST STEAL MY SODA!?" "What if I did? It's called sweet revenge for nearly getting me into trouble in class a while ago." "Y-YOU BETTER PAY FOR THAT!" "Nope, you're still the one who bought it, you still hold responsibility." Then she hung up and ignored every other call Shinya gave her. Snickering to herself as she came back to the group, she decided to keep quiet while waiting for the others.
