~Erieda~

Erieda stood in the middle of a grass field. Her breathing even, her eyes watching every movement around her. It was eerily quiet until..."Hah!" Erieda threw her long leg into the air, followed by a plethora of kicks. One after the other, she kicked before dropping into a split. Her arms sunked into the ground for a moment before she stood on her hands to pull herself up, in the same motion, she landed gracefully on her feet and now on her wrists were a platinum blades that coiled around her wrists. Erieda dropped into a new stance, standing on one foot while the other bent in the air. She swung her blades fiercely and gracefully at the same time. She spun on her feet, black hair spinning around her head as she moved. She felt a presence and so with another spin, she faced them, with her blade at their throat. "Um...Heh...Erieda?" said her brother, Thanoes, a dark skinned boy with long ropes of knotted hair. "That's a good way to die, Thanoes." Erieda said, lowing her blade. "Yes, I'm getting that." Thanoes said, rubbing his throat with a nervous swallow. "What is so important that you've interrupted my training?"
"The Party?"
"I said, 'What's so important.'" Erieda said shooting him a glare. "E, The Party is in your honor."Thanoes said softly. "I hate parties and so what, Death should not be celebrated. Even if it was the UnSeelie King's..."Erieda said taking her blades off and dropping them into the ground where the sunk underneath it. "We're not celebrating his death, We're celebrating the end of the war. I'm celebrating your safe return." He said softly and Erieda walked over to her brother and hugged him. "Alright, I'll come but I guarantee you are the only one that'll be celebrating those things." she said with a kiss to his forehead. "We'll see." Thanoes said and they made their way to the party.

"The UnSeelie King is Dead!" cried one of the soliders, already drunk off of Fae Wine. Erieda looked at Thanoes and he palmed his forehead. "To-"
"Don't say it...Please...Don't say it." Thanoes said before Erieda could. Erieda laughed. "Fine, but next time you will listen to me, Brother." Erieda said and soon two Summer girls hooked themselves around Thanoes' arms. "Heh, I gotta go, Try to have fun, Erieda." Thanoes managed before he was whisked off toward the dancefloor.

Erieda smiled breifly but now she was completely out of her element. She hated parties, she had to talk to people. That and she was never chosen to dance. Most of the men, respected her as Captian so they never really saw her as anything else. The women were never interested. Sure, she was a beautiful girl, deep grass green eyes, dark lashes, a smooth soft brown skin when in human glamour, grass green skin as she was now, a shapely body and long legs.
Unfortunately, too many of them where afraid of her. She did just defeat the UnSeelie King. It was no easy feat.

Erieda sighed and took a seat as everyone danced. She felt more comfortable on the battlefield.

Beside the well-known Fae Warrior, Erieda, appeared a portal and in that split second an iron chain shot out, wrapping around her wrists, ankles, waist and neck in an attempt to weaken her. The chain was followed by several Wraith soldiers. One appeared behind Erieda and held a blade to her throat, his glowing amber eyes finding Thanoes. "Make one move and she's dead. Come for her and she'd dead. Got that?" the male growled. Around the soldier and Erieda stood many other Wraith soldiers, who then disappeared through the portal.

They appeared straight inside the Wraith Castle, in the hallway outside of Prince Alexander's bedroom. The Fae girl had been knocked unconscious by this point so they weren't expecting much resistance from her just yet. They knocked on his bedroom door and upon receiving no reply, thought it safe to enter without permission and walked straight in. The girl was dragged across the floor to the far wall, where she was tied by her chains to hooks on the wall. The windows were barred with iron bars and the door to his bedroom was made out of the metal entirely.

Alex waited patiently for the door to his father's throne room, and when it did he slowly stepped through after being eyed up by many of his own Royal Guards. He walked slowly through the near-empty room until he was stood at the bottom of the small staircase to the thrown itself, where his father sat with a disgruntled expression plastered on his face. "Alexander the Benevolent, such a pleasure," Thorn muttered, his voice as fake as the smile that now found its place on his lips. "What news have you, child?" Alex frowned some, before lowering his head as he spoke. "No news as of yet, father, but I'll be sure to have a scout check on the activities of the Fae." His father nodded, before waving him off.

Soon after he left the throne room, he went straight to his bedroom to rest after a long day of warring with other Realms and to his surprise he arrived to see a girl that had been bolted to his bedroom wall. She looked half-dead and just the sight of her alone was enough to make his heart drop. The Royal Guards turned to him, smirks clear on their expressions. "Prince," they greeted him with a bow, "as a thank you for all the work you put in, the men thought that the girl would... amuse you, since you always seem to be complaining about women and such." Alex, despite his current anger, kept a cool head and ordered them out of his room, before turning to the Fae girl.

He approached warily and shook his head some, before turning to the wall beside her. He pressed into a single spot and the brick moved back as if he'd pressed a button. The wall slid open to reveal a doorway and he stepped inside. After a moment or so, he appeared with a new set of chains, ones that were more safe for Dryads and wouldn't burn them as much as average iron. The worst it would do was cause some mild discomfort, and that was the extent of it. He quickly swapped the chains over whilst he had some time and threw the old ones into the room before the door closed back up again. With a sigh, he pulled the chair from his desk and moved it so that he could sit directly in front of her.

Alex lightly tapped her cheek as impatience got the better of him. "Wake up," he said, his voice stern. "Girl... Wake up..?"

Erieda

Before Erieda could react, iron chains were wrapping themselves around her neck, wrists and ankles. Erieda grunted between clenched teeth as a blade was at throat. Who did she piss off this time? she wondered just as Thanoes started for her. Her eyes begged him to stop. Thanoes was a fierce fighter no doubt but his reaction time was too slow now that he'd Fae Wine in him. Thanoes stood down as the Wraith soldier instructed. "Thanoes...Be at ease."She managed just as they disappeared into the portal. The pain of the iron had become too much for her and she'd fallen unconscious.

Erieda felt a light tapping on her cheek as she slowly began to regain consciousness. "Wake up..." Said a voice, Erieda blinked. "Girl...Wake up...?" It said and Erieda tried to lunge forward but she was still chained, her body burned from the chains that had been there and merely irritated by the new ones. Erieda snapped her jaws together as she looked up at him. All she wanted was his head on a pike, despite how attractive he was. "What is the meaning of this?" She said, showing no fear in her features or in her voice. "Is it your goal to start an all out war with the Seelie? Because this is a great way to start." She said with a humorless laugh.

Alex's face held little emotion when the Fae girl attempted to lunge at him and snapped her jaws together like she was some ravenous animal rather than a young woman. You certainly wouldn't see Wraith women acting so animal-like, however some of them were very man-like and dark... Yeah, he certainly didn't take a liking to them. That and they all had extremely pale skin, cold to the touch. The Fae were much warmer.

"What is the meaning of this?" she asked and he sat back in his seat some. "Is it your goal to start an all-out war with the Seelie? Because this is a great way to start." The laugh she gave off was like nails down a chalkboard to him and so he stood up so that their faces were level, although she was hanging slightly off a wall so it would've given her a slight boost in height. "It is not my intention to start a war," he said simply, "but there's a rumour going around that Fae women are quite the flirtatious type, so my men obviously thought it would be a grand idea to kidnap one." He turned only his head to her as he continued. "You're just lucky they didn't keep you for themselves, as I am not the type for all that. However, I think I could make good use of you."

Without so much as another word, Alexander stepped into his bathroom and closed the door some behind him, leaving a small crack in the door - not intentionally. After around half an hour or so, he reappeared from the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his lower half. Across his body were several scars from previous battles; some were fresh and some were not. The most noticeable of these scars was the one across his shoulder, as he hadn't managed to dodge the blow completely and a blade had sliced right through his armour. He ran his hand through his hair with a small huff of breath whilst his other reached for a smaller towel. He then used that one to get the worst of the water out of his hair, before throwing it over the back of a chair.

"What's your name then?" he asked as he began to clothe himself in his usual night-time attire. "I don't wish to keep calling you 'Fae Girl'." He took a pause. "I'm Alexander, by the way."

~Erieda~

"It is not intention to start a war." The man said and Erieda's glare could have melted metal. He should be she was a Dryad and not a Fire Fae or it could have.
"But there's a rumor that Fae women are quite the flirtatious type, so my men obviously thought it was a grand idea to kidnap one." Erieda laughed as if it were the funniest thing she'd ever heard. "They made a poor choice" She said shaking her head. She was probably the only Fae women that could contain her sexual nature however even for her it was hard. Regardless of that, The Fae Women didn't just sleep with just anybody under any circumstances. Like this one, even if she had a looser will, she still would find it hard to enjoy herself. "You're just lucky they didn't keep you for themselves as I am not the type for all that. However, I think I could make good use of you."

"I bite." She warned him as he walked off. She then closed her eyes. There was no way for her to break free from the chains, nor pull them from the wall, so she focused on anything natural in or near the room. She'd perfected her connection with nature so she could sense it all around. Every rock, tree, animal even the shifting of the planet, she could feel it. Just as she began to focus, the man walked into the room.
She cursed her Fae nature then as he was barely dressed and his body was...interesting to look at. She swallowed it. "What's your name then?" He asked as dressed himself, typically the sight of a naked male didn't bother her but this was difficult. She didn't speak though on purpose, he didn't deserve to know her name and it wasn't like she knew his. "I don't wish to keep calling you 'Fae Girl.'" he said and she set her jaw. "I'm Alexander, by the way." He said and she sighed and with a roll of her eyes she spoke. "Erieda. I am called Erieda." She said. "Not that it matters, Am I your slave now or what?" She asked, bitterly.

"Erieda. I am called Erieda," she said and Alex nodded some. "Not that it matters. Am I your slave now or what?" she asked with a slight bitter quality to her voice that made Alex's head drop back as a loud laugh broke through his lips. He turned to her, his eyes dancing with pure amusement. He shook his head some before taking a seat in the chair for a second time. "No, I do not consider you to be a slave," he said after a moment. "I'm not like other Wraith men. While you are practically my natural-born enemy, I will only treat you badly if you irritate me with your bitterness."

Alexander finally allowed his eyes to take in her appearance. He might've been extremely attracted to her if her personality was almost as beautiful as her body. His eyes travelled slowly back up her body until they reached her eyes. "Far from a slave, my dear," he repeated with a small smirk on his lips.

"Now, here are the rules if you do not wish to spend the night in a cell with iron bars," he continued, his expression now one of seriousness. "No speaking out of turn, acts of aggression or foul language. You will be requested to bath once a day, you will be fed twice a day and your only form of entertainment will be the thoughts inside your own head." He stood himself up then and walked over to the wall on the far side of his room. "This lever here shorten or lengthen those chains based on your behaviour," he said and pulled it down slightly to make the chain a bit longer, before pulling it back up and watching her shoot back into the wall. "Be good, you get a longer chain. Annoy me, you'll be held to the wall... I may be kinder than those other Wraiths but I still have a relatively short temper."

Alexander walked over to his bed without another word and slipped under the covers, before turning away from Erieda completely. "Goodnight, Erieda."

~Erieda~

"No, I do consider you to be a slave." Alexander said and Erieda shook her head. "I'm not like my men. While you are practically my natural-born enemy, I will only treat you badly if you irritate me with your bitterness." He said and Erieda looked up at him. He can't be serious right now. It wasn't like she wanted to be here. She shook her head. "My apologies if I'm not cordial, I am chained to a wall." she muttered under her breath.

It was then she noticed him eying her body and she wanted to cover herself. She was dressed in a simple green tunic and brown bottoms. Her feet bare, her ankle adorn with gold bangles as well as her wrists. It was all she did to 'dress up' for the party in her honor. How she wished to be back there now, regardless of how much she hated parties. Atleast she'd be home. Erieda felt self conscious as he looked her up and down. "Far from a slave, my dear." He said and she supressed the urge to whimper. She'd never been regarded as attractive before atleast by the Fae. They're been plenty of enemies who'd threaten to take her body but it was usually their last words but now, when Alexander said it.She actually feared he might take her, regardless of what he said. He wasn't Fae so she didn't believe a word of it.

"Now, here are the rules if you do not wish to spend the night in a cell with iron bars." He said and she sighed. 'Here we go...'she thought. "No speaking out of turn, acts of aggression or foul language. You will be requested to bathe once a day. You will be fed twice a day and your only form of entertainment will be the thoughts inside your own head."

"Brilliant..." Erieda muttered as Alexander walked to the other side of the room, there on the wall sat a lever. "This lever here shorten or lengthen those chains based on your behavior." He said and gently pulled the lever. Her arms dropped a little and she felt relief but almost immediately. he pulled the lever again and she was shoot back into the wall. She winced as her arms burned from the extention and her head hitting against the wall. Erieda closed her eyes so not to show the pain or the defeat within them. "Be good, you get a longer chain. Annoy me and you'll be held to the wall...I may be kinder than those other Wraiths but I still have a relatively short temper." He said and with that, he walked over to his bed and climbed in. "Goodnight, Erieda."He said and Erieda dropped her head. That was probably the most condescending statements she'd ever heard.

After a few hours, assuming Alexander was fast asleep. Erieda allowed her thoughts to wander. She found herself thinking of her brother. Thanoes, he was such a gentle soul. He much rather read then fight, even though he was quite
a talent with a blade. She wondered what he was doing now. They were too far away for her to contact him telepathically so she had no way to let him know she was alright. Suddenly, a light sob was heard and she realised it was coming for her. She was crying lightly, she realised. She never felt so useless, so hopefully. She had no way out, no plan, no contingency, nothing, she was to do as he said or suffer. She yanked on the chain out of frustration, and her sobbing continued, until she cried herself to sleep.

Alexander woke up the next morning bright and early, thinking that perhaps this day wouldn't be as bad as the previous, but he wasn't getting off to a good start when he rolled over and saw that Erieda's eyes and cheeks were moist. He slipped out of bed quietly so as not to wake her up before she'd rested properly, and made his way slowly over to her, his eyes glued to her face. Warily, he lifted a hand and used his thumb to wipe the moisture away from her eyes. Her skin wasn't still soaking wet so he guessed that she'd been crying through the night, which made him feel like more of a dick than he already did for keeping her locked up. When his hand was at his side, he spoke. "Erieda," he said softly but still at a volume that would wake her up some, "it is morning."

Without so much as another word left to Erieda, he made his way into the bathroom to run a bath for her. He couldn't have her stinking out his bedroom if she was supposed to be sleeping there, although he had hoped he could maybe take her outside for a while so that he didn't have to worry about what the men would do if they found her in his absence. The poor girl would never be innocent again if that were to happen. Just the mere idea of a girl being taken advantage of was sickening to him, which was why he hadn't attempted anything with Erieda. Their relationship was strictly that of a prisoner and her captor, nothing more and nothing less.

Once the bath had been run properly and was at a reasonable temperature, he walked out of the bathroom and looked up at Erieda, his mouth parted slightly as if he was about to say something but was interrupted when a woman's voice shouted through the door. "Prince, breakfast," said the voice and Alex walked over to open the door, only to see a very timid old woman carrying two trays in each hand. "Here, let me take those for you," he said with a warm smile, to which the woman replied with one of her own. "Thank you, Prince," she mumbled. "You are quite welcome."

"Erieda," he said, "would you like your breakfast before or after your bath?"

~Erieda~

"Erieda" A soft voice broke through her dreamless slumber. "It's morning." Erieda rose her head to see Alexander walking away. She dropped her head again. "So this wasn't a nightmare...I really am here." She sighed. She wondered what had happened since she'd slept. She could have sworn that she'd felt someone touch her face as she slept but was too worn out to open her eyes. She heard the sweet sound of water running in the other room, she could only assume he was to bathe himself for the day. She desperately needed water, she was parched and she needed to heal. She was a Hamadryad after all. She needed water. It was pure lucky the distance from her lifetree hasn't made her sick already. She'd never been this far from her lifetree, but atleast it was safe, she assumed Thanoes gave it water, or she would have already been showing signs of the sickness.

If she were able to bathe then atleast she'd be able to heal her burns.

Alexander walked out just as a brittle old woman appeared with a dinning sets. She regarded him as Prince, to which Erieda already gathered. She was given to him after all. She watched as Alexander helped the poor woman, taking the trays from her. The woman didn't seem surprisee by this act of self reliance so Erieda gathered that this was in fact, how he was. It wasn't as if he was putting it on to lure her into a false sense of security. No, this was genuine.

Alexander then turned to her."Erieda" He said, calling her from her thoughts. "would you like your breakfast before or after your bath."
Erieda was taken aback. He actually meant what he said. Which also meant he really would punish her for disobedience but that much she believed. "After, thank you." She said regarding him carefully. It was only then she realised she thanked him as if he'd done her a favor. He was so...frustratingly confusing. If he was so kind, why keep her here against her will? It makes no bloody sense. Evidently she would rather be just about anywhere but here yet he treated her as if, should she disobey she'd been missing out on the fun. Burn it all! She thought, he was getting to her. She knew it was in part of Fae Nature but it was something else. Something about him.

"Alexander." She said suddenly. " I must warn you. Once I set foot in that water, I'll began to heal, my strength will return." She said, and wasn't entire sure why but then it struck her. "Tell you this only because thus far you've been honest with me. Thus Far and so I figure I return the favor," she repeated. "However, I will try to find my way out of here, just not yet. Do not mistake my honesty for obedience, I am here against my will after all." She said and the a smirk tugged her lips briefly. "Beside, I am Fae, I can not lie anyway." Her smirk faded and her darkgreen eyes bore into his. "I don't understand you but I'll figure you out and once I do, That'll be the day I break out of here." Her voice was calm, her features soft as if that wasn't basically a threat...well it wasn't, more of a warning really. "I hope I'm understood. I don't like repeating myself."

"After, thank you," said Erieda and Alex nodded as he set down both trays on his desk. He opened the bathroom door some, before turning his head to the girl after she spoke his name. "I must warn you. Once I set foot in that water, I'll began to heal, my strength will return," she started and Alex held a smirk on his lips with every word she said. It almost sounded as if she was warning him, which pretty much just filled his eyes with pure amusement. He might've allowed himself a small chuckle if Erieda hadn't looked so damn serious as she said it. "Tell you this only because thus far you've been honest with me. Thus far and so I figure I return the favor," she continued, "however, I will try to find my way out of here, just not yet. Do not mistake my honesty for obedience, I am here against my will after all."

Good luck with that, Fae.

"I don't understand you but I'll figure you out and once I do, that'll be the day I break out of here," she said, her voice so calm that it actually made him want to punch the living daylights out of her. "I hope I'm understood. I don't like repeating myself." Alex's eyes narrowed considerably, so much so that all signs of amusement, big or small, had been wiped from his expression completely, and had been replaced by a glare so cold it could freeze Hell. "You can try but the Wraiths have enough iron stashed around here to capture an entire army of Fae so if you think you're getting out of this Realm easily then think again," he growled, his voice just as bitter as hers had been when she first arrived. To say that he had been thoroughly pissed off was the understatement of the century.

Without so much as another word left to Erieda, Alexander pressed the block down again and stepped inside the entrance to his secret room. After a moment, he reappeared with a collar, made out of the same stuff as her current chains but it was dark grey with black markings around it. "This here is a special kind of device, specifically made for containing the Fae woman as they are quite popular with the men here. With this on you might as well be an ordinary human, so blabbering on about your strength increasing is pointless." His expression was cold as he stepped forward and clipped it around her neck, tight enough so that she couldn't slide it off but not so tight as to suffocate her.

With the slight flick of his wrist, the chains holding her to the wall came lose and she was free of them. He pointed to the bathroom. "In, now," he snapped. He entered the bathroom after and closed the door behind them. Normally he wouldn't have done this sort of thing because even he didn't like people invading his privacy but there was a window in the bathroom and he wasn't going to have her pulling any sort of trick.

~Erieda~

"You can try but the Wraiths have enough iron stashed around here that can take out an entire army of Fae so if you think you're getting out of this Realm easily then think again." He said, The look on his face caused a lone dark brow to raise. Erieda shook her head. "I never said it'll be easy. I just said I'll be out of here." She said simply.

Alexander left into a hidden room. Erieda made sure to watch his every movement. After a moment he came out with a strange device in his hand. "This here is a special kind of device, specifically made for containing the Fae woman as they are quite popular with the men here. With this on you, you might as well be an ordinary human, so blabbering on about your strength increasing is pointless." He said and clipped the collar around her neck. Erieda just smirked. Liar. She knew it. "I'm not like my men...Seems strange you'd have such a device in your litte hidden sex cave, since you are so different." Erieda said with a humorless laugh.

Suddenly the chains binding her to the wall dropped and she landed on her feet. Her shoulders arms and back would sore from being extended all night but she worked it out "In, now," He ordered and Erieda simply walked by him, taking her time. She found herself enjoying pissing him off. Torture was something she'd been trained to endure so it didn't worry her

Once in the bathroom, he closed the door behind him and she giggled, it was a dark almost sinster giggle.
"So you're going to watch me then." She asked. She decided to play a game then. She was still Fae and tricks and mischief was in her nature. She turned to him, and pulled her tunic from her body, revealing bare skin underneath, Erieda's body held thin scars from previous battles but it did nothing to take away from her shape. She then pulled her bottoms from her as well, she flicked out her long raven hair and it cascaded down her back and shoulders, somewhst covering her bare chest. She cocked her head avain like before stepping slowly into the water. As soon as the water touched her skin, she had to supress a soft satisfied sigh. It was as if a fog had lifted. "Enjoying yourself, Prince?" She said with a smirk as she sunk into the water.

Alexander frowned some when Erieda giggled darkly, which was presumably due to him watching her closely. He didn't intend to watch her undress but his curiosity had been peaked by the giggle so his attention was pretty much drawn to her. "So, you're going to watch me then?" she asked, almost as if her voice had a sort of playful quality. He raised a lone brow but said nothing in response as she turned to him, her eyes on his. It was then that she began to pull her tunic over her head and Alex's breath hitched some. As much as he wanted to, he couldn't seem to look away because believe it or not, no woman had undressed herself in front of him before. No Wraith women had the guts. A small smirk found its place on his lips when she dropped her bottoms as well.

"Enjoying yourself, Prince?" Erieda asked and he could just sense that she was taking the piss a little. He leaned back against the wall and slid down it until he was sat on the floor, his back pressed against the wall and one knee bent slightly whilst the other leg lay straight. "Oh, yeah," he said, his voice monotonous, "you're driving me crazy here." He wasn't actually lying when he said that, as the sight of a naked woman alone was just... wow, not to mention that her skin was softer and her body was just amazing. He had to try his best to prevent himself from smiling some as his eyes fell to her. "Just so you know, I'm not in here just for the fun of it because honestly, I'd sooner be eating or visiting the training grounds but if I leave you here alone then... yeah, my room isn't exactly forbidden to enter."

Alexander knew that by saying that he might've either put himself in a mood, her in a mood or both and none of those made his day any more pleasant. His eyes travelled up to the ceiling with a quiet sigh before he dropped his head. "Can I ask you something, Erieda?" he asked, his voice now softer than it had been before in her presence. "Do you hate me?"

"Oh, yeah," alexander said and Erieda rolled her eyes, as she relaxed in the water. "you're driving me crazy here." He said and she scoffed, closing her eyes, enjoying her bath. Erieda wasn't shy, it wasn't really in her nature, so being stark naked in front of him didn’t bother her. The Fae social standards were different than a lot of species. "Just so you know, I'm not in here just for the fun of it because honestly, I'd sooner be eating or visiting the training grounds but if I leave you here alone then... yeah, my room isn't exactly forbidden to enter." He said and she opened her eyes some. That was curious.”Aww, Want me all to yourself than?” She asked rhetorically, she said it to piss him off. It was amusing and it was a form of entertainment, one he said only could come from her mind.

"Can I ask you something, Erieda?" he asked, his voice was soft, this caused Erieda to turn to him. She turned on her side to face him some, yet still held a look of disinterest until he spoke again. "Do you hate me?" He asked and Erieda was taken aback. “You’re irritating but hate is a strong word.” She answered honestly. One would think she would hate him as she was his captive but the difference was, she wasn’t afraid of him. He couldn't scare her, make her fear for her life, that would be merit hate, so far, he’s just been a thorn in her side. Even if he tortured her, she’d still only find him an irritant. It was strange but the truth. “ Why do you ask?” she asked turning to him fully.

"You're irritating but hate is a strong word," Erieda said and Alexander nodded some but said nothing else on the subject at that moment. He could understand why she found him irritating and he was purely just relieved she didn't hate him, despite the fact that his own soldiers had kidnapped her, burned her and he had tied some strange contraption around her neck to keep her in control. If he was in her position, he'd be screaming bloody murder by this point, so much so that they'd either kill him to spare him the misery of living as a captor or they'd have to release him just to spare themselves the frustration of listening to him whine non-stop. "Why do you ask?" she asked and he looked up at her, now distracted from his own thoughts.

He took a pause to think about his answer before he spoke. "Oh... no reason," he said nonchalantly, as if he was trying not to make himself seem insecure about the opinions of other people when, in reality, he was scared to death of them. There was no way in all of Hell he was going to open himself up to a woman, especially one that was considered to be his natural-born enemy and the woman he was now holding captive. She didn't pose a threat from her position but he still felt as if he had to keep his guard up. She seemed like a tricky one. "And it's not a sex cave, by the way," he muttered defensively, not really seeing how that was relevant to the current conversation but he needed to get that across.

Alexander's eyes narrowed some, before he stood up. "Don't take too long with your bath," he said, his voice much softer than his expression, "I'm going to go set up breakfast or something." He nodded to her some before leaving the bathroom, but he left the bedroom door wide open just in case. As soon as he was in the bedroom, he pulled the desk out from by the wall and stood it next to the chains on the wall, before grabbing a chair and putting it there as well, so that she would have somewhere to sit. He placed the tray on the desk and removed the cover, revealing your typical English breakfast. He just hoped to God she wasn't a vegetarian because the majority of the meal was meat.

"Breakfast is ready," he called into the bathroom, just to let her know.

”Oh, No reason.” Alexander said and Erieda laughed a bit. He was a terrible liar. She turned back resting her neck on the edge of the bathtub, letting her black hair fall over the edge. “If you say so.” She said closing her eyes. and it’s not a sex cave, by the way.” He said and that caused a genuine laugh to burst from her chest. She wasn’t even sure why he’d just mentioned that and now it was just funny.

after a moment, Alexander rose, Erieda noticed as she heard shuffling some. ”Don’t take too long with your bath.” He said and she actively ignore that. Typically she wasn’t this pesky but she found enjoyment in doing the exact opposite of what he said. She sunk into the water more as if to say she was taking her sweet time. ”I’m going to set up breakfast or something.” he said and she waved him off as if the roles were reverse.
He then walked out, leaving the door wide open, letting the cold air into the bathroom, causing chills to rise on her arms.
She closed her eyes again and allowed her mind to wander. She found herself, thinking back to the fight with the UnSeelie King. He had a pale face, deathly pale, not like Alexander’s but a cold bluish pale, as cold as the ice he could manipulate. He held an icy stare as well. Erieda actually felt fear but her rage had forced her to overcome it.
”You've come to avenge them I see.” said the Dark Lord. “What do you think?” Erieda said, she was a stark contrast of the cold blue world around her. “What makes you think you can defeat me, Little Girl.” He said standing from his stone throne. “ Shouldn’t you be out dancing or whatever nonsense you Seelie girls partake in.” He said and Erieda rolled her eyes. “ A Common Misconception.” She replied and darted forward but no sooner had she done that, she was stopped as a burning rose up her legs. She looked down and saw that a frost had began to rise up her body, ice sealing her to the ground. Her skin burned almost as badly as it would if iron had touched her skin. Her eyes were wide and the Unseelie King just laughed as the ice shoot through her legs.
Erieda’s eyes sprang open and a gasp caught her breath. She was shaking as she looked down at her legs seeing the lit imprints of where the icy had burn her skin, it looked like a marking more than a burn mark, only it was lighter. Breakfast is ready.” Alexander called and she took a shuddered breath and got out of the bath. She looked around for a towel, and wrapped it around her body, It was long enough to cover majority of her body. Only leaving her legs and the flat part of her chest exposed. It looked like a simple dress on her the way it hugged her figure. She walked out and could clearly see where she was supposed to sit and she sat there. No snarky comment, no attitude, she just sat down, her mind still reeling and her hands still shaking to where she couldn't really hold on to the utensils.

Alexander's eyes fell to Erieda's body when she emerged from the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body. He might've smiled if the poor thing didn't look like she'd just seen the most horrific thing in the entire world. With no word left to him, she took her seat on the desk, her body trembling. Something must have happened to her but he wasn't sure if it was a story from her past or a recent event that shook her up. Either way, Alex was concerned for her health. He watched her failed attempt to hold her utensils and decided to step in.

His hands found hers and he took the utensils gently from them. "Erieda," he said, his voice soft but still filled with concern. He placed the fork and knife down on the desk beside her plate, before walking around to the other side of the desk with a chair of his own to speak to her. As he opened his mouth to speak, there was a knock at the door. "Come in," he called and the old woman that had brought him the breakfast entered the room.

"Your father sent me to see if you need anything..?" the old woman asked and Alex's eyes shifted to Erieda briefly, before they returned to her. "Uh... yeah, I'd like some tunics and shoes for her, some night gowns and a cup of chamomile tea, please." None of those things were for him and the old woman seemed to notice as she allowed a warm smile to tug on the corners of her lips. "Yes, Prince, I will be back in a moment." Alexander nodded, before turning his attention back to Erieda.

"Listen, I know you probably don't trust me but I promise you that I'm here to listen if you have a problem that you need to talk about," he said, his voice soft as anything. "I want you to feel comfortable around me..."

Erieda had been staring down at her trembling hands as Alexander took the utensils from her hands. The chill of his skin, caused her to jump a little, pulling her hands to her lap. He was cold. Too cold.

"Erieda." He called and she looked up at him wide eyed, her face ashen a little.

Before he could speak there was a knock at the door. Erieda sort of black out at that point. She didn't really know what happened until Alexander spoke to her again. "Listen, I know you probably don't trust me but I promise you that I'm here to listen if you have a problem that you need to talk about." He said softly and for whatever reason, it calmed her some. She believed him. "I want you to feel comfortable around me..." He said and Erieda looked at him, strangely at first. Her head cocking to one side, like a curious bird. "Before...A few days before I was brought here...I was in War. UnSeelie and Seelie. We are always at war for one reason or other." She began and it was just falling from her lips. She wrapped her arms around herself, trying to get warm. "It was personal because the UnSeelie King took the lives of my mother and father. He left me and my younger brother orphaned." She said, her trembling being again. "Our fight lasted for a week, He'd had the upper hand as I was in his territory, he controlled the world around us...He seemed to enjoy it, batting me around like a cat would a mouse and at one point, I wanted him to just kill me to end the humiliation but he'd gotten cocky, and I struck." She said and her eyes seemed to be off somewhere else as she spoke. It was honestly the first time she spoke about what actually happened there. All the other Fae knew was that she'd defeated the Unseelie King, not that she'd been losing and he was just torturing her, for lack of a better term.

No one, not even the Queen herself knew that and yet here she told a complete stranger.

"I can still feel his icy grip." She said with a swallow, remembering how he'd, at one point, encased her in ice. Being a dryad, winter was bad. They were weaker, as most plants died during the winter. So Cold like that, was particularly dangerous. Erieda suddenly felt like the room was closing in on her, her breathing quicken dramatically and she wanted- no Needed air. "I can't breathe." She said gasping, as she stood up, and stumbled away toward the wall. She seriously needed air, space. Something other then the room. She darted to the bathroom, splashing water on her face but it didn't seem to help. She spotted a window and tried to open it but she was weaker with the collar on and it was too heavy. Her gasping become closer and closer together to the point where now she was feeling light headed. Turned, her back against the wall and slid to the floor. Still breathing heavy as in her vision, the room warped into that on the UnSeelie throne room where her 7 day battle took place. "He's... dead." She said. "He's...dead'" She repeated over and over unable to calm herself and not sure what was happening to her.

Alexander's expression went soft when Erieda shot him an odd glance whilst cocking her head to one side. Words could not describe how cute she looked when she did that but obviously Alex kept that to himself. It was not the time for things like that; the poor girl looked mortified. "Before...A few days before I was brought here...I was in War. UnSeelie and Seelie. We are always at war for one reason or other," she started and he listened closely as she spoke. He wasn't at all sure where she was going with this story but he was just glad that she felt comfortable enough to share her past with him, even if it was only a recent event.

"It was personal because the UnSeelie King took the lives of my mother and father. He left me and my younger brother orphaned," she continued. "Our fight lasted for a week, he'd had the upper hand as I was in his territory, he controlled the world around us...He seemed to enjoy it, batting me around like a cat would a mouse and at one point, I wanted him to just kill me to end the humiliation but he'd gotten cocky, and I struck." A small frown found its place on his brows upon hearing her story. "I can still feel his icy grip," she muttered. One of Alex's brows raised slightly but aside from that his expression still held its usual soft quality.

"I can't breathe," she said and Alex's eyes widened slightly, somehow getting the feeling that nothing good would follow that. He stood as she did and attempted to move forward but she seemed determined to find her way out on her own. His eyes followed hers as she stumbled into the bathroom and tried frantically to open the window. He assumed the collar on her neck was holding back the majority of her strength. Her mumbling was enough for Alex to jump in. He walked over to his bed and grabbed the blanket from atop of it, before making his way towards the bathroom. He walked closer, almost warily, and placed the blanket over her, then wrapped it around her body and stood her up.

Alexander figured his skin must've been too cold for her, so he shifted it slightly. Being Munin, his skin wasn't always icy cold and he had become pretty skilled at controlling his temperature. "Erieda, he is dead, okay?" he said, his voice warm and reassuring as he attempted to calm her down some. It was then that the woman from earlier stepped into the bathroom after laying the clothes on his bed. She had tea in her hand. Alex wrapped one arm around Erieda and lead her over to the bed. "Please, sit," he said, pointing to the bed. He then took the tea from the woman and passed it to Erieda. "This will warm you up and hopefully help to calm you down some." When the woman left, he walked over to the window and slipped his hand through the bars to open it up, letting some air into the room.

Erieda felt warmth fall over her and suddenly she wasn't envisioning the Unseelie Throne room. Alexander appeared in her vision and her breathing began to slow to a normal pace.

She didn't understand what just happened. Was it a nervous break down or what?

"Please, sit." Alexander said, carefully guided her to the bed. She pulled her long legs up on the bed, as she tugged the blanket around her, still shivering some. "This will warm you up and hopefully help to calm you down some." he said handed her a cup of tea. Erieda nodded, uncharacteristically compliant. She rose the tea to her lips but before she sipped it, she caught a whiff of which tea it was.

Chamomile.

Chamomile had a doping effect on dryads being that were literally one with nature. Chamomile was sort of like a drug. Erieda would be completely at his whim and not remember a thing in the morning.

Lavender was like a horse tranquilizer. She'd be out like a light if she so much as sniffed it.

She sipped the tea anyway. For two reasons, One because she wanted to relax and two and oddly, because Alexander had given it to her. He'd seemed genuinely concerned for her health, which wasn't all the surprising, he'd get a pet the same treatment however, Erieda remembered his comment before her...whatever that was. He wanted her comfortable.
Why? Why should he give a good damn about her comfort?

With that, Erieda took a bigger sip and soon enough she began to feel it's effects.

Her eyes liddened some and her body relaxed, so much that she ended up laying on the bed, luckily she still had the presence of mind to set the cup down first, a few more moments and it would have been on the bed too. . "Why didju help me?" she asked, her words slurred a bit. "I was nothing but a bitch...reasonably so, I might add." She said holding up a finger and letting her hand fall back limply on the bed.

Alex turned to see that Erieda was now sipping the tea and a faint but warm smile lined his lips. Over time her sips became larger and his frown returned. He had half a mind to step in and tell her to calm down a bit with the tea but she'd already set the cup down and had fallen back on the bed."Why did you help me?" she asked, her words slurring to the point where she was only just understandable, at least from Alex's point of view. "I was nothing but a bitch... reasonably so, I might add."

He smirked some when she pointed a finger at him, and soon after he walked around to the side of the and wrapped one arm around her, lifted her up so that her head was actually on the pillow. "I can't explain..." he mumbled, "I'm just not evil like the stereotypical Wraith is thought to be." That was the truth, although not all of his men were pigs as most would think. Some were good-hearted men with wives, children and other family members that they cared dearly for. He had no children and no wife, but he had a family and at the end of the day, they were his top priority. That and his people.

Alex was raised into a violent and disruptive family who had prided themselves solely on their power and money, but for some odd reason he had grown up with a good understanding of right and wrong. While he did have one Hell of a temper in certain situations, he did well too control it.

He looked down at her with a warm smile, before moving his hand to her face and stroking a finger across her jawline slowly. "You should probably get some sleep now, Erieda," he said, "don't you think?" It was a rhetorical question but whatever. "But first..." he said, pausing some as he held up two night gowns. "Right or left?" he asked, attempting to fight the smile that somehow crept onto his lips.

Erieda could barely see him as he spoke. "I can't explain..." He said "I'm just not evil like the stereotypical Wraith is thought to be." He said and she might have had something to say to that given that she wasn't like the typical Fae girl. She was methodical where they were flightly. She was calculated while they were carefree and she hated dancing...well dances. Dancing she was actually good at but she hadn't done that in....who knows how long.

It was then that Alexander brushed a finger against her jaw, making her sleepy eyes flutter closed breifly. "You should probably get some sleep now, Erieda." He said softly. "Don't you think" He said and she nodded sleepily. "Mhmm..." she replied, her eyes closed. "But first..." He said, forcing her awake again. "Right or Left." he asked and she had to blink a few times. "RigghhLeft? I don't know...I a-hate dresses..." She said and after that was fast asleep. Honestly, she wasn't all the presence.
