This is the mark of The Fateweaver. Given to the true followers of fate and to those brave souls who seek to ensure balance in the world to ensure fate's plan endures unhindered. Bearers of the Outsider's mark are gifted with powers beyond that of normal men and have a link to fate that enables them to wield powerful magics.

Personality

Aremis is the personification of fate's plan for the world. He weaves it and therefore concerns himself mainly with it alone. If it does not involve fate's weave or the destiny of an individual he would hardly take the time to address an issue. He is neither a devil nor an angel, he is entirely ambiguous. In one moment he could ally himself with the forces of good to ensure the balance and in the next lend his power to the forces of evil. He does not take sides in the traditional sense yet instead does whatever is needed to ensure the balance is maintained and fate's weave can continue without pause. He will allow children to die and homes to burn if that is how he has weaved fate. With the same resolve he will make certain that an innocent is spared if that is what he destined to happen. He ensures that fate remains unbiased in the struggles of men and gods. It is in the fate of Gods that Aramis truly finds joy for unlike mortal kind he cannot touch the strands of fate of the ethereal. He knows no more what the fate of his kin are then a mortal man knows his own. It is for that reason he takes great interest in the actions of his brothers and sisters for he knows not how events will unfold and he finds a pleasure born of great interest what destinies his kin forge for themselves.

Mortals: Aremis looks upon the mortals as beings of great importance. Nowhere near as equals in power yet are still key components in the grand design. He weaves the patterns of destiny and each mortal with each decision they make give unto him a single thread. It is those threads that he weaves into the tapestry of fate and therefore they hold great standing with the God of Fate.

Equipment

Aremis carries no weapon and is not known to have ever done so. Fate is his weapon. His complete mastery over it grants him powerful magics with reality altering effects. Seeing the tapestry of fate at all times gives him a measure of precognition beyond mortal understanding. So too can he blast his foes with unwoven fate, a chaotic and powerful magic that looks like blueish white light. Similar to what is constantly pouring off his true form. Weaponized this is a truly Goddly power that can end most foes instantly. Aremis is also known to use his reality warping powers to trap enemies in pocket realities. Unfinished weaves of fate these other dimensions serve as illusion constructs. A mortal could be trapped within one of these indefinably, should he turn this power on one of his Goddly brethren the prison would not hold be able to contain the presence of a God for more than a few minutes yet minutes could be all that is needed to grant The Outsider the advantage needed in a fight.

History

With the departure of the All Father the Gods and the mortals they created made the first strands of fate. Unwoven, untended they frayed here and there. The gods bickered and fought amongst themselves as one god acted against the other. From this quarreling a trial was held and the God of Corruption Kreios was brought before his kin by Cragin the God of the Wilds. Feeling wronged for his brothers meddling with his creations Cragin sought justice but did not receive the verdict he wanted. After gifting unto the Old One judgment in this matter he scorned his ruling calling the wise one unwise indeed for not punishing Kreios for his slights against him. It was in this moment, this twist of fate that a presence breathed it's first breath. Fates chaotic entanglements needed order, needed tending, needed weaving and so the Fate Weaver was born. Aramis, the God of Fate stepped into the world.
