Another thing troubled her: she had seen earlier, a strange figure, covered entirely by shadow. She couldn't discern it's facial features, it's purpose, or even it's gender. Just a dark being. Just thinking about ti brought chills up her spine, so the young girl blocked out the thoughts, with an increasing feeling of dread rising within her.

The rebels were amateurs they had no idea the toys the Dark Forces had, the fools probably used cell phones which was worse becuase one wrong move and they could trace the phone to its holder. It did not matter, tonight it all would end and Siegfried could go back to killing other soldiers.. a true challenge. Hunting rebels was child's play, more suited for teams like Aerons who were full of ambition.
He heard someone break into his radio contact "Sir, I see a shadow of a man. Should I engage" Siegfried thought it over "No, leave him be. A good show needs a audience. The plan is too far now... there will be no escape." He nodded it was time to pull Aerons team back. He clicked the small detonator like thing in his hand, The jamming beacon had been initiated, the Auditorium was now a dead zone.
He tapped his radio and contacted Aerons team "This is Alpha Team Leader Siegfried Austadt. Code: B3827. All team members under Team Leader Aeron are to withdraw by order of Stilmyst. Those who do not immediately withdraw will be considered rogue and be considered traitors and killed on sight. Detonate the Bombs. Over." He watched the Auditorium impassively, once the boom went off which it should shortly unless Aerons team had a death wish and they were forced to obey his orders as they could no longer contact their team leader due to the Dead Zone being implemented, he would move in and apprehend Locke assuming she survived.

"I came so when dose the interview start?" asked Emily she looked at Aeron and sighed she nodded "Hello." She streched her hand out to shake Aeron's "I'm Emily Locke." She said. Emily Locke smiled warmly at the girl, she did not hate this girl nor did she hate anyone who sided with the Evil she hated what it did, and the evil itself. "How are we handling the interview?" Emily asked.
"Well," Andrea said "I thought you both could ask each other five questions, and you both have to answer each question the other asked I'll give you five minutes. I am video recording this as well as voice recording this, I will act as a referre, no fighting or trying to kill each other, a good well spoke battle with words right?" Emily nodded.
"Sounds good enough." Emily looked at Aeron "Fair enough for you?" she asked.

"Seigfried, this is Stilmyst. Just a reminder; should Emily escape, should anyone escape, they are to be taken alive and brought to myself and Ms. Whiting. ...And I'm going to be able to see for myself whetehr or not you do." She didn't doubt that Seigfried could pull it off...but she had to be absolutely sure, and she had to be able to tell Annamarie what had happened. And she had to make sure nothing would happen to interfere with their mission. ...Besides that, it had been a while since she had managed to be so close to any of the real missions. She turned her attention again to the building, waiting for it to go up in flames. She thought it was a little odd that Annamarie had wanted the building to go down, but she wasn't about to question her own orders.

"Fair enough." She smirked, her eyes glaring directly at Locke. "I'll let you ask the first question."
Inside, she was almost laughing. Locke would never walk out of the building alive. If everything went as Aeron thought it would. Aeron would gain recognition, and what she desires most. She watched Locke insidiously, giving her a silent look.
Even if you do survive, Locke, the Dark Force will catch you and you WILL be punished. Just you wait.
She aimed that message hard at Locke's face. Diplomacy was only skin deep. What it boiled down to was manipulation and testing one's limits. But intelligence matters most of all.

They trio were now outside. Aeron just stood there when Locke ran off to catch up with the reporter girl. The younger girl stood in shock.
She... she saved me. Why would she do that? Is she that stupid?
Aeron seemed almost furious that her enemy would have done something stupid. Stupidity, in Aeron's eyes, meant that someone was not worthy of thought. She cursed Locke and grew red with shame, still standing there like a stunned statue.
Unless she isn't the real enemy.
She tried to get her mind around the idea that The Dark Force was mistaken. Perhaps Locke was truly the better person here. But the Dark Force promised salvation. This surely isn't salvation.
The Dark Force is all I know. Maybe that's the bst kind of government we could ever hope for.
Up ahead, Aeron saw Locke trip dazedly onto the rough pavement. Without thinking, the younger girl, coughing with acrid smoke in her lungs, ran over and helped her enemy up, but softly, as if not to hurt her. Her eyes were hesitant, but her body language spoke differently. She couldn't even hear the explosions over the pounding of the blood in her ears. She quickly glanced around when She and Locke had reached Andrea's van, and Aeron's friends were nowhere to be found. Her heart sunk and she grimaced painfully at Locke.
"If you want to save my life, you might as well bring me with you. Otherwise your stupid act of pity is wasted."

"We don't stand a chance against them." She said in a hollow, washed out voice. "We'll die in a hopeless struggle."
She paused. Michael... the name seemed familiar. Aeron couldn't place it, but she knew if it was important, she would have remembered it. Aeron doesn't forget what is important. Totally and absolutely unheard of.
"But I guess I don't have a choice." She sighed, and looked longingly at the van. "I'm coming. But only because I owe you something."
With that, she grudgingly followed her former enemy, not knowing where her life would lead her, or if she would even survive to return to her adopted home.

“Well down Emily Locke, you single handedly managed to solve my orders. To apprehend you and Aeron, but we needed a reason to apprehend her, and you… single handedly gave us that reason. Aeron, you are under arrest for helping and accepting banned contraband from a Traitor. Emily Locke, you are arrest for traitorous actions against your country.” After talking he quick drew his .45 moving faster than many eyes could see. “You are to get on your knees, hands behind your head.” From the nearby windows three shadows pointed their guns down onto the lawn. They had been pulled out of the outer reaches under Siegfried’s orders.
The light shut off finally revealing the dark forces soldier clad in his combat armor. Behind him and the source of the lights were the large fog lights on the front of the black van. The door opened and Cruz got out aiming her assault rifle at Emily and Aeron. The trap had been sprung... flawlessly

That's right. I was just leading Locke into this trap.
But she felt uneasy at this as well, because Locke had saved her life. What kind of person would she be if she turned against someone she owed her life to? Aeron glanced at Locke, somewhat apologetically, and then realized that the Dark Force is just one huge lie. Corrupt. The leader is corrupt. Aeron knew she could lead a benevolent iron fist, much better than anyone else.
But what mattered most now is her continued survival. But she also wanted vengeance against the force that she had trusted in so much. She looked at Locke and sent her a hard angry glance, saying:
We'll get out of this. Not even half an issue.

The Patriotic Revolution.
But Aeron is hardly patriotic. She was already formulating a back up plan, and a future plan, in case. Just in case. But she didn't want what Locke wanted, ultimately.
I want power. I will have it somehow. Someday.

She glanced at Aeron for a second, then around the group again. "...I suppose everything is taken care of here, then. I suppose this was a success, then..." They had Emily, though there was still the issue of Aeron being there...and the ruler wasn't too fond of her...and it was up to her, too. All a mess...but she'd have to deal with whatever happened. Besides, she was tired and stiff from sitting still for so long, watching everything happening...even though she hadn't really seen much of what had happened, or anything at all that had happened inside.

He taped his radio "Helicopter Evac, prepare for prisoner transport." Truly the runt knew they had tried to kill her, and Alexandras bright idea was to throw out the damning evidence they could have easily used to place the runt in death row, it was little wonder she never advanced further: she was sentimental, compassionate... weak. He heard the explosion of a bomb and the chatter on the radio. Seemed someone was killing the lower guards outside, well little matter they were all useless and not even of his squad; if anything the attacking rebel was a stupid fool with no sense of tactics. A retreat would be the only intelligent thing to do in this position, but most people where to prideful and stupid to understand basic tactics.
The sound of spinning blades filled the air, the helicopter had arrived. On its left side it had a rather large machine gun to attack such a helicopter was to invite death. "Get on the chopter Emily and Ms. stilmyst. I have captured her thus my objective is finished. Since you are here you can take control of her, and explain the situation to Her." He kept his gun pinned on Emily, and his squad in the buildings kept theirs trained on Aeron, and Emily. He had not given the order to relax their targets on Aeron.

Dark Forces: HeadQuarters
Who: Alexa & Emily
Alexa looked down at Emily, more glaring than looking, really. This was the woman that had caused so many problems? This was the one that had evaded them for so long? She had to pause to think straight. She could get herself in trouble if she hurt Emily too much; after all, Annamarie might want to speak with her. Her hands remained fists clenched at her sides the entire time. "What did you think you were doing?" Her voice started dangerously quiet, but soon switched to yelling. "We had peace and safety! And you come along trying to ruin it! Are you trying to make things the way they were before? Are you trying to revive war, famine, crime? Or maybe you just wanted to destroy our peace; something against our leader?" Anything she could find out, she would.
Emily looked up into almost a reflection of herself but was not looking in the mirror she then looked away. She would not answer to this woman, she was not her leader, or superior. Emily took in a deep breath, she knew she would be in for a long trial and probably condemned to death, she only hoped Ori and Michael got out safely and were able to make it to their hideout. Emily's hands hurt like hell from the fire, she had saved Aeron's life only to be caught minutes later. Why the hell wasn't she dead? What did these leaders expect.
Emily looked up at Alexandra "I have nothing against peace, but not at the cost of giving up freedoms we rightfully have by our founding fathers... have you forgot about the rights all men were created equal?" Emily asked now. The Constitution had long been burned and forgotten and Alexander like she had been new school taught.
Alexa looked away for a second, in an attempt to calm herself enough to keep the woman alive. Then she looked back at Emily, with the same glare as before. "Clearly it hadn't worked. Before Annamarie had taken command, who was equal? Some lived in higher fashion; large houses, expensive food; and others lived on the streets, with no food, no home, no safe place to rest. They were not able to create a world where everyone was equal. Is that fair? In their time, they had even allowed slavery...how is that fair or equal? They were unable to accomplish the peace we have now." Rightfully had by their founding fathers...what was she going on about? Several of them probably had slaves themselves, and even women were unequal at the time. Foolish beliefs. "They could not achieve peace like that."
"Everyone is free to live their life how they chose, and no its not fair that some are to suffer and others not." Emily sighed as she closed her eyes she would not debate this either the woman would feel it in her heart or it would not be there, "Freedom is the one thing no one could mess with." Emily spoke "Annamarie took it all away, too fast."
Alexa paused, walking away from her, but only a couple of steps, before turning back to her. "Freedom does not exist. It never has. If it did, it's what caused this mess. It's what made so many people look down on others; it caused most of the problems. The rest were caused by people that did not know how to make things equal." Her glare had vanished for a moment, but now it returned. "Peace and freedom are incompatible with each other. And peace is more important than freedom." Fewer people died trying to achieve peace than freedom; she knew that already. She knew what she stood by. This one had no clue; deluded by the same thing that had deluded their ancestors; their "founding fathers." Useless.
"IT was freedom which allowed people to come to others aids to bring the homeless into a shelter, to feed the hungry, and freedom to choose whether or not you were going to partake in such actions. Freedom was not the cause of that you yourself, the person who had the freedom to choose became the cause of the bad things going on. Just as you had the freedom to choose the good things you had freedom to choose bad things. And Freedom did exist along time ago." Emily whispered back, it didnt sound like something that will cause someone else to want another person to die.
Alexa shook her head. She was making no sense. She knew what she had been taught, and what she had learned. "People don't know how to use their freedom for others; to make things fair. Your 'cause' is only going to put everything into turmoil. Wars, famine, inequality...they all rise again. But only when you choose to argue against what we stand for, and what we know to be true. And we know enough to stay away from those delusions you have, that freedom was so important." She was already irritated by this conversation; by this argument. She hadn't cause anything but the peace that reigned now, and even then, she had only done what was necessary. She glanced around, then back to her. "People are happy enough here...and you are trying to ruin that, too, with more of your delusions."
Emily looked bewilder for a moment and then sighed "I will give you a bit of the Constitution’s own words if you like." She said now she closed her eyes for she had the entire constitution memorized as her father her adopted father taught her to memorize. "We the people of the United States , in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice , insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this constitution for the United States Of America." Emily watched Alexandra and saw confusion... "In English it basically says if we go back to the beginning of the way the Constitution was created things will get set back right again." Emily said "That’s what..I want." Emily said "For things to be set back right. They have not been right since the day my father passed on." Emily sighed softly and looked back down. She hoped to be with her father and that way she wouldn’t have to deal with this screwed up world.
Alexa shook her head. Back to the beginning? "Back to the beginning..would mean back to slavery, hangings, and different social classes. So we're back to inequality." What was she rambling on about now? It didn't make any sense anymore. Couldn't she deal with this later? No...she had to put up with it until she received orders from Annamarie; orders that she wanted to speak with her. Or orders on how she was to die. Surely the others needed to know what happened when one disobeyed the law? "It only goes in circles...your 'constitution.' Telling you to go back to the beginning...especially if you actually take it seriously." Emily blinked and looked at Alexandra.
"Not that part, we learn from our mishaps, change things around a bit." Emily said gently now. "Good grief." Emily sighed and shook her head "You need to look at what it is being said, equality, justice for all, not some, Annamarie's justices is if you dont agree with her you die? Just like that little set up with Aeron? What was that about? She to strong for you Alexandra?" asked Emily now. "Your afraid she'd kill you to take over your position?" Emily thought about it now "You were trying to kill me and Aeron at the same time. Smart plan too bad it only half succeeded." Emily grinned at this with a mysterious smile.
Alexa paused, looking back at her. "...We didn't plan for that...I only did as I was told. I knew she would kill for a higher position...but that wasn't the point. The orders didn't get to her on time, and she didn't get out. You were the only one we were looking at killing. Aeron was...a strong leader for us, but clearly she couldn't get out in time. No use worrying about what's already gone." She paused, then shook her head, too. "People don't learn from their mishaps; otherwise, we would have figured out long ago what war could do to a country. Killing off rabble that would cause fighting and war is only a precaution to keep the peace we have now." Emily Shrugged at this
"Do you know that for a fact?" asked Emily now she was about to say something when a shadowy figure came in to the room and a man dressed in silky black shirt, black paints and black tie came in a man Alexandrea nor Emily had ever seen before. Suddenly Emily's heart skipped a beat he locked his eyes with Alexandera.
"Enough of your babbling... end it now kill her." snapped the man.
Alexa turned around to look at the man that had walked in...and so rudely interrupted them. She shot him a quick glare, then looked back to Emily. However, she directed her words at him. "You have interrupted my interrogation, and walked into my room without permission. You have no place to be giving me orders, and if this keeps up, I shall report you to Annamarie." Probably one of their citizens angered with how Locke was trying to change things, and prevent things from being as peaceful. She wouldn't doubt it.
The man grinned at Alexandera and laughed
"Oh Annamarie knows me well." The man said now "in fact it was her suggestion that I came to you and to tell you..." The man raised his arm and pulled a triger. "Your no longer needed." Emily saw the gun before it went off and saw it was headed to first Alexandra, Emily threw herself over Alexandra to protect her, as was her duty under her laws she took a weapon she saw on the desk and shot at the man who blinked and dropped his gun and then ran off. Emily stared with the weapon in her hand and looked down at a very frightened Alexandra.
"And that is Freedom." Emily dropped the gun down and fell exhausted from this day. Emily meant she was free to choose who to protect, the man coming into the room to blow Alexandra up. Or Alexandra, Emily figured she had a better chance at survival with Alexandra.
Alexa blinked, looking up at Emily. She waited for a moment, until after she had fallen, then stood up. Freedom...she would have died...but Emily had stood in the way...she shook her head firmly. She had to do as she was told...no matter what had happened. ...Though, after this, she owed the woman a favor...she would only be able to do her best to get Annamarie to allow her to live. Would she accept that fact herself, or would she be ignored, or possibly decided to be insane, and killed, anyway? ...She could only try. "...Whether or not you get me to understand or believe you means nothing...you'd have to try to talk that into Annamarie." Not that she was getting a chance...or that she was saying that she believed the woman...but she owed her now.
Emily nodded and then collapsed to the ground. She could handle fighting but after excitement she got tired and needed rest which is why she was tired now it took a lot out of her, and Emily wouldn't say it but she didn't wish death on anyone. before she closed her eyes she looked up at Alexandra and shook her head "You don't owe me anything." she whispered "Just promised to read this." Emily slipped a pocket sized book of the Constitution of the United States and then looked her in the eyes "And this, but you'd better be careful with it I understand your leader has banned both." the other was a Bible. Emily would not need either book as both were in her heart and soul and she could recite either and debate either all day long.
Alexa glanced over the two. If that was all she needed to do, that was fine. And, if she got caught with it, she'd only explain that she was looking for a way to trick others, should they follow Locke's path. Find a flaw...or something of the sort...twist the meanings of a few sentences here and there...she'd manage something. And she may actually come up with something after reading both. It shouldn't be too hard to twist meanings. But first, she'd have to understand where they were coming from...right? "I'll read them...but I won't promise anything more than that."
Emily grabbed Alexandras hand and looked her in the eyes "Its all about faith, you know Annamarie would do away with you if she thought you were a threat right? What makes you so sure your safe now?" Emily sighed she was very weak at the moment "If you had lived in my house, with my adopted dad you would see things so much more differently Alexandra." Emily was fighting not closing her eyes but she was so damn tired and sighed "I... I need rest." Emily whispered "please."
Alexa glanced down as Emily grabbed her hand. "...I need to understand how you people think to get a hold of anyone else trying to follow the path you've carved out," she answered, yanking her hand away. She didn't need to have lived with her and her adoptive father; she had had her mother, and that was all she needed to know how things worked. She waved her hand, irritated. "Rest, right; guards! I want a room guarded; she'll need to be more awake when speaking with Annamarie later. If she escapes, it'll be your heads; all of them!"

Siegfried looked over the new recruits, one of his team members had died: Selena Cruz. He had over viewed all the decent members in the army that had adequate sniper and reconnaissance ability and had come up with twenty applicants that could possible replace Selena. "Knives" he was walking up and down in front of the assembled men and women. "Pair up" The twenty broke up as instructed into ten pairs of twos without pause Siegfried barked out the last order "Kill. The one to kill their partner moves on to the next level. Lose and you die. Refuse to participate and I will kill you and your partner. This is war... survival is YOUR responsibility." A woman stepped forward and raised her hand doubt on her face, and Siegfried lifted his gun the .45 handgun barked once... twice and left two bodies on the ground their blood and bits of brain staining the foam on the ground and the nearby participants.
"Any questions?" nobody in the groups moved, staring dumbly. "Kill" he turned and paced up and down, and this time with only a little hesitance the pairs fought, gripping their knives and slicing, biting, doing whatever possible to ensure they won.
20 minutes later
one member of each group was dead, and the other wounded. "REFORM!" he barked "Back in groups of two!" the groups of 9 did, but one was left out, he would get to rest this round. "KILL" the new group started to fight, cursing... blood, cries of pain and pleas of people asking to spare their lives, one even begged for his mother before his life was cut short.
30 minutes later
only two were left, a man and a woman both covered in blood and littered with small cuts. The man had a large gash pumping blood from his arm. "Kill" the woman and man lunged at each other, and moving fast despite his wounds the man slammed the hilt of his knife into the woman's forehead stunning her and before she could regain her senses, the man thrust his knife through the woman's throat.. blood gushing out as she tried in vain to hold her throat to stop the blood flow. The woman feel to the ground, and Siegfried walked over to the man... but truly he must have been closer to the boy being only around 18. "Name?" The boy looked up with fire and determination in his eyes "Rogal Dorn..." he lunged at Siegfried, but he had expected this having done this selection routine many times. He reached up and caught the boys wrist, giving the kid a vicious headbutt to the nose, blinding the kid as Siegfried brought his fist around and smashed into the boys face making him spiral into the mat. Siegfried cocked his gun and fired.
The boy opened his eyes to a smoking barrel and a bullet hole inches away from his face. "Rogal Dorn, This is war, survival is YOUR responsibility. Hate me, Despise me... for I have turned you into a warrior. You will kill without hesitation, you will strike without fear, you are now a member of the greatest team in your country. I have NEVER failed a mission, you have been reborn Mr. Dorn." The boy struggled to sit up, hatred still in his eyes, and Siegfried nodded good hate was needed, hate was power. "Return to your barracks, but know your new leader: I am Siegfried Ausstadt."

Andrea watched from the shadows her friend being taken and she felt guilty, she saw Michael enter into the burning Auditorum and went for him. "Michael!" Andrea called she came up "Michael, help me... please..." she whispered "Emily's been captured by one of the Dark Forces..." Andrea looked down "We've got to save her." Andrea looked down a twange of guilt, she had promised safety to all who interviewed her, from now on she would not be interviewing in places like this, she would use her mothers car, or any car she could get her hands on.
Location: Dark Forces Headquarters
Emily fell asleep on the Dark Forceses Couch and she woke up seeing a dark figure standing over her. She thought about screaming, but then realized that no help would come. "Who are you?" she asked in a voice of authority, the man laughed. "Stop laughing!" Emily said as she watched the man sit down across from her.
"My name is St. Claire child. I am no one you want to trifle with or anger, especially since I am your only way out of this room and building." Emily sat up and looked at the man known now as St. Claire, she looked at him and thought for one moment she recognized the voice.
"Not an easy thing to give up one's children, but I couldn't care for any of you and your mothers refused me contact with you and my other child. At the moment Emily, I am all you have left to help you." Emily stared at her Birth father. Shook her head no and shouted for Alexandra whom she would trust more so than the man she just met.
"Alexandra is pre occupied at the moment with speaking to her supirior." St. Clair said now. "Now child you will listen to me and you will listen good."
"No I wont." Emily said defiant she hoped someone anyone would hear this mans voice in her room. Where were the guards? She wondered.

I wish I had someone who would mourn my death.
The young girl gritted her teeth, her hands shaking, and hugged her adoptive mother close.
"I'm so sorry." She whispered solemnly. "It was all my fault."
The older woman pushed the small girl away, roughly sobbing.
"It's that woman's fault. Emily whats-her-name. I-i-it's..." She couldn't finish, and let out an anguished wail. Her husband looked over in alarm, his face red and puffy, tears streaking down his haggard face,
Aeron knew Emily was to blame, but she also owed Emily a favor. Not the same way her faux-family took care of her, but an enemy had saved her life, even if it was a knee-jerk reaction. Aeron waned to repay her debt, but she also had to do something to sate her vengeance. She couldn't decide who had more responsibility: the Dark Force, for their curelty, Locke, for being a revolutionary, or herself, for being too goddamn stupid to know this would happen. Aeron was alone now, except for the two people she made as surrogate parents. Her only shelter left.
"Get out." Her surrogate father croaked, in a broken, weepy voice. "You should have died. It should have been you, not her. Not my.. daughter..."
Aeron stepped back a bit, and a brutal wave of despair washed over her. She looked down at the ground, avoiding their eyes. But, it was true. Chelsea always was better in eveyr way, except for brains. And Aeron knew that a part of the parents always resented the fact that Aeron was so intellectually superior than everyone around her.
"We don't want to see you anymore... you... bitch!"
Aeorn nodded discreetly, and turned her back away, and walked slowly, mournfully towards the door, getting ready to leave. She turned her hair around at her true family, and flinched against the utter hate and disgust that shot out of their grief stricken faces. Aeron opened her mouth to say something, but she only made a helpless moaning noise, and left, hating herself and wishing to be dead.
But she had buisness to do. Track down Andrea and help break Locke out. For better or for worse, this would be Aeron's first step to recovering from the emptiness in her heart. She let out a small dry-sob, and zoomed down the streets towards the reporter's home.

She paused, though, only barely hearing some sort of shout. She wanted to investigate...but leaving now would only make things worse, especially if she wasn't yet dismissed. She gave the door a quick glance, curious as to the sound she had heard, but quickly looked back to Annamarie. She was not going to appear disrespectful to her. ...Even if she thought the child had been too ambitious. "Shall I go fetch her, or should that wait until later?" Whether she was sent to get Emily, or she was dismissed until later, she would have to investigate.

"I have two more daughters I could be spending my time with Emily, but you need the attention here and now." The Dark figure stood up and looked Emily in the eyes, she didn't even blink or turn away when he said that. "Really Emily when they find out that you are t heir sister.." The man chuckled "Your problems will be over rather quickly. They both want you dead you know." Emily looked up, it cant be true.
"Richard Locke is my father. He was a simple factory worker who loved our country and all it stood for." Emily glared up at this man "I will not listen to any more of your lies. You could never be my father... you don't have the heart for it. GUARD!" Emily managed to chuckle out. "GUARD!!" The man stood their frozen, the only way out was through those doors. He was not a magical being, so he waited, and thought up of some lie to tell.
