History:
Mai was adopted by a rich scientist after her parents were killed by something she does not know. She grew up with the scientist in a large villa. She'd lived just long enough in the orphanage to know that she was lucky to get to live somewhere as big and amazing as this. Her father was rather cold to her - instead of playing games with Mai, he rather watched her play games on her own, taking notes, like he was studying her. Mai therefore grew up lonely, having trust issues as she never knew who she could talk to. As she grew older she realized how much she loved singing and took up a part-time job at a local bar where she sung for money. However, one night a man had been watching her closely, to the point where it was starting to become scary. When Mai walked home later that night, the man from the bar and a few others attacked her in a valley. They forced themselves onto her and beat her badly. When she came home that night she wanted to cry to her father and ask him what to do, but he wasn't there. She found the project he was working on and a few of his notes next to it - notes that he had taken about her. She realized that he had only been studying her in order to see what traits a child has and to construct a more human-like creature. Due to this, Mai hates the experiments, as they symbolize to her how her father view her as nothing more than "a resource". She believes that if she gets rid of the experiments, her dad will come to love no one but her.
