Syndaleigh Kashenkai's Story

Zera entered the facility, being escorted by guards. She was greeted by Dr Laten.

''Hello Zera, I am dr Laten, from now on I will be taking control over your testing and training.'' He took out a object that looked like a gun, pressing it against the back of her head. ''This won't hurt...'' He pressed a button, a tracker being placed into her brain. He watched as she flinched away smirking slightly as he knew how worse some of the tests will be. He noticed a cut going from her eye to her ear. '' I lied... What happened to her face?'' He asked the guards. They replied '' She has claustrophobia, she freaked out on the plane and needed to be controlled.'' Dr Laten looked at the girl '' Any behavior like that will not be tolerated here and you will have a lot more to worry about than a shallow cut, do you understand?'' Zera didn't move quite scared about what was going on. The scientist slapped her around the face. '' You will do as you are told. Escort her to her room'' He said to the guards walking away.

Zera walked to the dorms, the common room was about the size of a living room, they are underground so there is no windows or natural lighting. She was taken to a small box room, things already laid out for her. Looking around the room there was a single bed, a lamp, a bedside table and a small wardrobe filled with clothes. The guards left her shutting the door which she quickily opened, not liking being enclosed in small spaces. She sat on her bed wondering what the other teenagers would be like and what was awaiting her here, she didn't think things could be much worse than at the lab but she feared she was wrong.

After looking around the common room she found a sketch book and a pencil, she took it back to her room, the door still open. She sat on the bed again, drawing, which is something she is very good at. She can't even remember the last time she was allowed to do this.

The flight to the facility had been rather grueling. He spent the flight sitting next to a girl freaking out because she was apparently claustrophobic. Kai would have tried to charm her if she hadn't been such an annoyance to him in that moment. Then again, he probably would later anyways.

The other thing he hated was that they thought it was necessary to tie him to his seat(which he got out of easily numerous times) and then attempt to drug him in hopes of getting him to sleep through the rest of the flight. The drugs didn't work and Kai became a huge handful for the guards that were stuck with him.

Kai entered the facility escorted by more guards than he saw the girl before him have. They also took the liberty of tying his hands together in front of him. This just caused a smirk to form onto Kai's lips as he was presented in front of Dr Laten. Imbeciles... They actually think this will work? Kai thought. He then made eye contact with Dr. Laten and in a charming tone said, "Hello doctor... We're going to have lots of fun together."

He waited for the tracker to be injected into him before letting out a small chuckle. "You may need more than that with me, doctor..." Suddenly, his hands were free from the ropes and they fell to the ground. "I'm the master of escape." Kai was toying with him like this on purpose. He knew the others wouldn't and his abilities let him get away with it. He also had the personalty type to always challenge authority. He wondered if there were any others that would do the same...

Syndaleigh was shocked at the way this doctor behaved. How could he just sit there and treat them like this?! It was unjust, and unfair. She squeaked when she saw him give the blow to her brother's stomach. "Don't hurt my bubby!" She cried out, before biting her lip. In an instant she'd regret even opening her mouth. The doctor laid his cold, calculating eyes on her, and she let out an involuntary squeek. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the fear start to form in Eric's eyes. She quickly thought very loudly. I'm fine bubby, don't worry about me... I don't want you getting in any more trouble. She'd glance over, and look to make sure he got the message. He did, giving her a curt nod, his lips pursed. Her eyes landed back on the Doctor. He looked down at her file and smiled. "Miss Syndaleigh, I can do whatever I want to you and your brother. You are my subjects now, and don't you forget this." He walked up to her the tracking gun in his hand. She stood straight, and held her head up high. "Time to make sure you don't get any ideas as well." Placing the cool metal to her temple he fired the tracker, and she could feel it literally implant itself inside her brain. She closed her eyes, a small tear falling down her cheek. Life had just changed for the worst...How she wished she could read his fears, but it seemed as if he didn't have any. Her eyes opened just in time to see his hand coming towards her. She tried to back away, but something or someone seemed to have stopped her. His open hand impacted with her cheek and lip splitting it. She could taste the blood. "Just to make sure you know who is boss." He said, before Eric roared in anger. Syn wiped the blood off her lip, and looked over at her brother who was struggling against the guards that were holding him back. He managed to get loose before trying to launch himself on the Doctor. "Don't you lay your hands on my sister again! I swear I'll kill you if you do!" Right before Eric could lay a hand on the doctor, a guard had drawn his tazer and used it on Eric. Syn's eyes widened as she saw the pain in her brother's eyes, and he collapsed right in front of the doctor, almost spazzing. Syn brought both hands to her face covering her mouth. Shaking his head the doctor gave Eric a good swift kick in the ribs. "I guess it's gonna take longer for you to learn respect young man. Hopefully this will be a lesson to you. If not we have a cell that I can stick you in without any food or water...remember this." He'd nod to both guards before they picked him up, and drug him down the hall to the Dorms. The doctor gave Syn a sickening smile before walking off, and another guard grabbing her by the arm and escorting her down the same hall as her brother. When they got in there, they dropped Eric like a sack of potatoes, and shoved her in the room before shutting the door and stalking off. She ran to her brother's side and looked down at him, his breathing short and shallow. "Damn doctor, I'm going to kill him for harming you Leigh." Eric said, wincing as he tried pulling himself up and pulling her in a hug. She'd return the hug. "Eric, I don't need you to continously get hurt because of things that happen to me. I love you, and I swear that doctor doesn't seem like he cares if he kills or not. Pain seems to be his pleasure. Please... don't get yourself seriously damaged."She kissed his forehead before looking around, "This place... it's not home..." She'd sniff sadly, before a soft meow caught her attention. A wide smile broke across her sad features. "SHINTA!" She squealed, before picking up the small black kitten and hugging him tight. "Now this is somewhat home." He whispered as Syn was nuzzling the black kitten. Eric winced and chuckled petting the cat on the head, at least Syn could be happy with her kitten.

Dr Laten looked at the guards as the doors locked. They tried to grab him as a tracker was placed in his brain. '' Any more moves like that and you'll be in the cells'' He looked down at him and spat in his face and the guards tried to drag him to the dorms.

Zera is still sat on her bed, she is drawing whilst practicing telekinesis, hold up books whilst still trying to concentrate on something else. Her door is open. She only had a few possessions to bring with her, her tarot cards and a watch that was her mothers that she keeps hidden and some candles incase the power goes out.
