Description
Now, I wouldn't recommend Wheatley on any other roleplay. But this takes place in SPACE. Wheatley isn't too realistic nor too childish, and I feel like he would fit right in with the enviorement and characters of this roleplay.
In Portal 2, Wheatley is tasked in awakening all test subjects from cryosleep, even though all but one human are dead. Wheatley takes this opportunity to help that one test subject escape the laboratory they're trapped in, and accompanies her throughout most of her journey. In the game, Wheatley's personality is described as cheerful, kind hearted and loveable yet extremely clumsy. That, I feel, should stay the same in this roleplay.
Wheatley (without being in GLaDOS' body) is a round, metal robot with no legs, arms, or any physical detail, with the exception of two handles at the top and bottom of his centre eye, which consists of a blue optic lense.
In this roleplay, perhaps Wheatley could be portrayed as a type of mecha? He would assist the humans throughout the adventure but would usually stay hidden in battle (depending on the location the battle is taking place). As an Intelligence Dampening Core, Wheatley is designed to make bad decisions, though this is something that makes Whealtey loveable and genuinely trustworthy.
Think of Wheatley as C-3PO, a Brittish droid that serves as the main character (and allies)'s sidekick. Though Wheatley is a lot more funnier than 3PO and a lot less annoying and useless. Wheatley is poorly skilled in combat, but extremely skilled in hacking and anything technical. Unlike most mechas, Wheatley is unable to walk on his own, and must be carried by an ally when not on his management rail.
Wheatley, also unlike other mechas, doesn't have any energy barriers where he would shut down if it reaches zero. He does, however, overheat and shut down when overthinking too much (which happens a lot when in dire situations).
Personally, I think Wheatley would be a great addition to the cast of this roleplay, and I hope you look forward to it. I know I will! (If he gets accepted, that is.)
You're not forced to apply Wheatley, since it is YOUR roleplay, after all. But I would be forever grateful if you did.
Thank you,
