Introduction
powerful, and unique in their abilities. They ruled the kingdom of Harroul with mercy, uncorruptable in their power, they led the nation into a golden age.
But the general population grew wary, they didn't understand why such a small amount of the people had such great amounts of power. Eventually, those people
organized a rebellion. The Kassik, for the next three years, tried to quell the civil war that raged within their domain. But it was all in vain, they had not the
power they needed to resist., for their once loyal armies felt the same as the rebels.
Now, outcasts in their own society, ruled by a corrupt king they had no choice but to live as everyone else, working the fields, tending the home, doing all they
could to conform to the norm. Centuries past, and all recollection of the once powerful Kassik vanished from all but the dustiest library, only to be uncovered by
the occasional curious soul. But the Kassik lived on, whether as productive units of society, or the self-isolated civilians on a little known island. Either way, they
waited. And they didn't have to wait long.
Almost 600 years later, their time had come. The current king, signed a decree. The remaining Kassik were to be exterminating. They were to be hunted down
and shown no mercy. All Kassik, no exceptions. Except those of course that were the king's own servants. The king had his own sect of Kassik that were loyal
only to him, longing to follow his wishes, even if that meant hunting down their own kind.
The Kassik were now alone. Any who had been a part of society were either executed or fled to the Kassik island of Salave, where they prepared for the
incoming waves of Harroul's armies. There were some that sympathized with the Kassik and those also fled to the island to help the defenders.
But there was a decision to be made, were they to stay on Salave to wait for their inevitable annihilation or were they to confront the madking and demand
their rightful place as protectors.
With unanimous consent, the inhabitants of Salave chose to demand their rightful place. But, they couldn't do it through strength of arms alone, they must travel
through the kingdom, unseen, unheard, to throw down the corrupt government. They must raise an army to keep the enemy distracted, and must fight hard
enough to convince the king that they were in it to win.
The Kassik
The Hunter: able to pick up miniscule tracks and scents. Gifted with uncanny sense, able to find any prey.
The Warmonger: effective soldiers, skilled in most combat arts. Gifted with extreme charisma, great to organize any army.
The Healers: able to heal most any wounds. the extent of their healing depends on their individual power. The weakest may only be able to cloud the pain, while the strongest may be able to mend broken bones and reconstruct the human body. However, the ablitity to create and recreate life has been beyond them forever.
The Destroyer: Wielders of the elements. Able to control any one specific element to great extent. This ability draws from their physical strength, however, making extremely difficult tasks above any one individual.
The Reader: Can penetrate people minds. their strength varies from person to person. The strongest may be able to control the host for long periods of time, while the weakest may only be able to dull the senses.
The Artificer: able to craft materials of pure energy, these materials have great advantages against physical material, but if subject to constant abuse from a destroyer's power, these materials may be shattered, resulting is severe physical drain of the casting artificer

Hanouss couldn't bear to look at the maps of the organized forces. He couldn't stand to think of how it would turn out, countless deaths, countless lives stolen from their owners. So, he just looked at the sea. It beckoned him always, a wrenching in his gut that he couldn't ignore. Oh, what it would be like to sail off into those frequent squalls that he so often watched. But, now was not the time.
HKe moved across the room, ignoring everyone there ,to stare out across the island. Little more than shacks dotted the land, driftwood shanties that barely stood against the ocean wind. That was the legacy of the Kassik, one that he shared in the fullest. He would get the revenge, but he needed to wait. "Those who rush, miss." his father would always say that when he was teaching him how to shoot a bow.
"Be patient, that won't kill you." That was his mother speaking when she taught him how to weed a garden and he accidentally tore up her precious herbs. The memory always brought a smile to his face, even now under these grim circumstances. He forced himself away from the past and turned at last to the maps. They were crumpled and water stained, but they were still readable, and they were read. He didn't know what to say, they were against overwhelming numbers, and the only way to end this war was to overthrow the moronic king, the king who sat hundreds of miles away. He would gey what he deserved, nothing would stop Hanouss from seeing to that. He waited for the meeting to commence as he continued studying the maps.

"Sorry." Jonathan concentrated and the fork flew back and landed on the ground in front of him.
"That's enough garden work for now. I want tea." Jonathan stood up and walked towards his cottage.
He made a quick ginger and basil tea then sat down with his book.
I'll go to the market later.
(Sorry but I might not be on for a few days, maybe more, I'm not sure yet. Sorry)

Rei settled on the grass in the clearing, placing her small black bag in front of her. She set her bow and quiver down at her side and gently touched the small knife on her thigh. The bag contained her medical equipment, which took up very little room, a waterskin, a sack of money, bread, cheese, and dried rabbit meat. Rei nibbled on the meat, bread, and cheese and drank some water, enjoying the view of the sky. She suddenly felt very angry her father kept her so separated from the other Kassik. The only companions she had her entire life were human. At least she knew how to act like a human, dress like a human, and hopefully be mistaken by a human by the ship she would take to Salave. Salave was the only place she knew the Kassik lived, though she doubted whether or not they would actually be there now that the King was planning on destroying them. Rei was frustrated with all the information she did not and could not know until she found other Kassik. Not only would she have to find them, but also convince them of her loyalties, which were sure to be questioned since she had never been to Salave in her life. Not to mention that her dear father was one of the King's most trusted Kassik loyals. Perhaps she could lie? Tell them her parents wanted to hide among the humans instead of living in Salave? A weak lie, one that could be easily seen through. If nothing else, she would hope they would be desperate enough for more soldiers that they would allow her to help them. The promise of her healing power would undoubtedly be her trump card once she had to convince them to trust her allegiance. Rei sighed to herself, surprised to find she felt much better having come to a solution to her problem. There were still many 'ifs' but she was confident they would at least see her sincerity.
With that she repacked her bag and replaced her bow and quiver on her back. Standing, she pulled her scarf back over her mouth and nose and pulled her thick black hood low over her head. Heading in the direction of the docks, she set off at a brisk pace. Her boat would leave a sunrise with or without her. It was a small merchant's ship which brought goods to the outer islands and left with a more exotic supply that fetched a good profit on shore.
As she reached the outskirts of the port town, and hesitated, considering her bow and arrows. She removed them and hid them in a tree. Rei wasn't sure how women traveled, but she was fairly certain they probably didn't carry obvious weapons. She had been to court a few times as a girl, and none of the women carried weapons. None of them even seemed to know anything about combat. She supposed they were always safe in the castle and had no need to learn.
Rei made her way to the ship she had reserved, "The Arctic Storm," and approached the sailor swabbing the decks.
"Excuse me, sir, but can you point me in the direction of your captain?" She asked politely. She had a thrilling voice that held a kind of fleeting compulsion. The sailor stared at her stupidly for a moment, studying her clothes with obvious confusion. His eyes then settled on her bright green ones and he quickly looked away, propping his mop against the mast and walked off, mumbling something she couldn't make out. Rei wasn't sure what to do, so she walked aboard and started to look for someone else. Then she heard the loud footsteps of an uneven gait and looked up to see a large man walking towards her. His face was tan and somewhat wrinkled from a lifetime at sea, though his age was probably somewhere around thirty. He approached her, a small smile curling his lips, revealing his uneven teeth.
"Ah, ye' must be the lass that wrote askin' fer a ride to Salave. If ye pay me now, I'll show ye yer cabin." His voice was rough and gravely, but his rough talk didn't match his expensive clothes or clean shave and hair cut. She dug in her bag and brought out her purse, parting with five gold pieces. She replaced her purse while the captain deposited the money into his own. Rei pulled down her scarf and looked out to the ocean, the cold wind biting at her nose and mouth. She looked back to the captain who was regarding her curiously.
"Where be yer escort, lady?"
Rei fought back a wave of panic as she realized it must seem very strange for a girl her age to travel alone. She carefully hid her panic from her face, putting on a confident facade, narrowing her eyes and looking at him with what she hope was annoyance.
"I require no escort. I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself." She announced, giving him a challenging look. He laughed and turned, beckoning her to follow him.
"A girl wit no escort headin to Salave. That be mighty strange." He said quietly. Inside she was panicking, but she kept her face carefully controlled. She reached back into her bag and took five more gold coins. Rei reached for the captain's hand and pressed the gold into his palm.
"I can handle myself." She said severely. His eyes brightened as he smiled again.
"Whatever ye say, girl. But if I wer ye, I'd lock me door at night." He laughed again and led her to her very small cabin.
"We sail as soon as the cargo loads. Don't ye leave the ship." He said, still laughing as he left. She sat down on the small bed, fighting back a shiver. Rei knew it wouldn't be long before she got to Salave, she dearly hoped they would see her as an ally, not an enemy.

He sat, bored witless and with his fingers crossed amongst the plants of the royal gardens. In front of him, his most loyal advisor and the leader of his Kassik Elite guard, was Nauticus. Of course, that wasn't his true name, simply an alias he was known by currently. Currently, he mentally laughed, just like he wasn't born as Oslander Harroul, no, it was Nauticus who told him to change his name to that of the land he ruled, he said it would show his 'humility'. He really didn't quite understand the word but if the people would like it, hey.
They were currently locked into a game quite akin to chess. He knew he wasn't the best of players but was happy when his opponets didn't look down upon him for it, he knew it was because they liked him, or thought rather. The only pieces he had remaining were ironically his two bishops and a knight. 'Nauticus' had lost several figures but most notably he still had a decent amount of pawns. He was currently arrayed to place the king in check no matter which move he would make. The king knew it would not be much longer at all before he was defeated. On the other side of the table 'Nauticus' was stifling a grin.
Indeed the king normally sat his nights out here, discussing matters of the kingdom with 'Nauticus'. He was glad he had such a well informed council of Kassik to guide him, half the time it was as if he did not have to do anything except sign his name to what they wrote or speak what they told him to speak. It was wonderful, and the entire world thought he wanted it.
Smiling to himself, he gazed up at the moon, leaning back. He wasn't quite paying attention as his opponet declared checkmate. The cool breeze was soothing and he himself was relaxed. He took in the many scents of his fine flowers and shut his eyes. Tonight was a grand night to be alive, so distracted he was he hardly realized his ally was talking until he heard the word sir repeated multiple times, trying to recapture his attention. Quickly he snapped out of it, managing a sleepy grin and taking a sip of his fine raspberry tea. "Yes, friend?" he mumbled sleepily, leaning forward. He prefered to think of all his subjects as friends, and hoped in turn they would think of him as well as one. Clearing his throat, 'Nauticus' went over again of the current info they had. Operative 'Fault', by far the most talented Hunter Kassik the kingdom had, whom was also under the employ of the king had reported even more signs of Kassik retreating. Their exact location had been founded sometime ago; operative 'Dread', the sole Warmonger out of his Kassik, was just taking his sweet time marshalling the armies and preparing a substantial naval force to blockade the island.
However all this discussion of Kassik and what not bored him, he really didn't see why he should care, he had generals and admirals and a myriad of other officers and personel to deal with them. He did come to see his own Kassik's point of view however, that if the Kingdom did not hold firm control over the Kassik, than the ones that were out of its grasp should be obliterated, entirely.
Speaking of obliteration, 'Nauticus' had just gotten to the reports of his Destroyer and Reader the king had in his employ. Twin sisters and the only female Kassiks he controlled, operatives 'Spritz' and 'Shatter' respectively. Apparently they were in the middle of taking small groups of soldiers and performing loyalty checks amongest the officials in the various towns and cities throughout his kingdom. The last of his roving Kassiks, a Destroyer with the current alias of 'Spear' was out supposedly claiming shipping for the royal navy. He was by far the least trust worthy in the King's eyes. Always spewing on about how killing those Kassik outside of the kingdom was genocide, bah! He wasn't king, and all of his other Kassik assured him it was fine, so what did he care?
Tired and bored witlessly, he began to get up, 'Nauticus' asked his permission for something he wasn't sure what a mission or someother, he smply nodded. He wanted to retreat back into the serenity of his own quarters, and his wife. Kassana Harroul. Who was coincedentally the another member of his Kassik Cadre. She was a medic and was often out doing what his other Kassiks were doing under the alias of 'Light'. He relished the moments he could spend with her. The fact that she was queen was unbekownest to his entire kingdom as it was, the relationship remained a closely guarded secret.

As the town clock tower rings out 7 times in the morning air, I finally stop my night long work. Me and my workmates drop our last beam down at the carpenters huts and stop with our foreman, each stopping and being handed their 10 copper. Measly pay for the time given, but easily the best to be found for an uneducated goat herder.
Taking my pay I leave the docks and stroll to the market. The long nights work had left me tired and famished, and I desired fresh vegetables or well salted meat before I return to sleep at the dock workers flat. As I walk through the sad market I find a few stalls selling limp carrots and a one selling dried fish. Deciding to take my luck I spend my copper to take a side of tuna and a few of the weak carrots to be made into stew and making my way back to the docks. As I enter the workers cabin I sit down on my sour bed and White Eye comes to sit by me. Even though I know the owl is stuffed on the rats that rule the docks I take a piece of the tuna and share it, taking the rest and eating in silence. The other men from my work group sit about or sleep in their beds, as tired as I feel right now at the least.
Finishing my meal, and thanking the gods for my luck in life, I too decide to rest, throwing back my thin blanket and laying on my bed. Even as my sore muscles nag me with their discontent I slip into a weak sleep, my mind at ease. White Eye rests above me in the rafters, sitting comfortably on his straw bedding and drifting off with me. We both really are better as creatures of the night.

A few turn and wake slightly, a few adding mutterances of their own. Meanwhile the foreman begins to walk down between the bunks, stopping every so far to give a slip of brown parchment to a different man before coming to stop at my bunk.
"Today is the day Chazarak" he says, no remorse in the brow clad mans voice. "Your work date is up, and I have your replacement."
As I sit up and crack my back I give him a solid look but ask no questions. Reaching under my bed I take firm hold of my travel sack and pull it up, the pans clanging as the bag moves.
"Alright then, Ill be out of here in just a minute." I say to the man as he continues down the row.
I roll up my blanket and stuff it in my bag between my pots and stand to leave, giving a short whistle to White Eye. Waking quickly the scruffy little owl rustles awake with a delicate 'hoo'. With a quick flutter of wings he is down and at my shoulder and I stand to leave.
I stroll, my head held high down the docks with my bag in hand as I watch the morning ships roll in. Moving back into town I see several ships port but pay them no mind, more busy trying to find a tavern to dump my savings in than a ship to ride.
Stopping at a local favorite, I enter the heavy doors of the Flayed Salmon and sit down at a corner table after ordering a pint of ale.
White eye squints in the dark, smokey room. The lack of light the result of not having lit lamps as the night is still early more than anything. A few pretty looking barmaids go their way bringing drinks and a pretty ginger maid brings me my pint. With a nod and a few copper pieces I send her on her way with no trouble. Tonight wasnt a night I couldn't afford a woman, even if it would be worth the coins.
I sit in my place taking a few idle sips of my drink and waiting for the evening recruiters to reach the bar. I need a new job and the bar was always the first place people went to recruit for easy work.
No one was more desperate for work than a drunkard.

The sun shined down brightly on the port and only one boat was insight with a few people on top swabbing the deck he knew they wouldn't let him on their ship unless he paid, he reached in my pockets feeling nothing he had absolutely no gold in his possession he figured he would have to resort to sneaking onto the ship. He walked up to the boat crouched low to the ground and quietly snuck on deck avoiding the sight of the crew sliding past when they weren't paying attention. Evan knew he wouldn't be able to sneak below deck so he settled for the crows nest figuring no one would be up there.
He quickly climbed the mesh of ropes with little difficulty getting his foot stuck every now and then, hoping no one had spotted him and grabbed hold of the edge of the crows nest and pulled himself in. The view was inspiring birds circled high above him eyeing him suspiciously like something foreign had entered their presence, the waves pushed lightly against the boat and the wind stinging his cheeks every now and then. It was only a matter of time before this boat set sail and he got to Salave and he would soon meet others like himself and he would hopefully learn something new and get stronger.

Rei walked onto the main deck, the sailors paying her little heed as they prepared to anchor and lower the boats. She approached the side of the ship, looking out at Salave at last. Watching a coast as it slips by the ship is like thinking about an enigma. There it is before you--smiling, frowning, inviting, grand, mean, insipid or savage, and always mute with an air of whispering--Come find out. This one was almost featureless, as if still in the making, with an aspect of monotonous grimness. The edge of a colossal jungle so dark green as to be almost black, fringed with white surf, ran straight, like a ruled line, far far away along a blue sea whose glitter was blurred by a creeping mist. The Captain called her over and she climbed into the little boat, feeling apprehensive but also a little excited. Once they reached the dock, Rei stepped onto the wood with the other sailors and studied the island. The dwellings were humble, some looked as though they wouldn't make it through the day. She was surprised that creatures with such power would live in such surroundings. Her father had been given ample possessions in return for his services. But these Kassik were oppressed, feared, and now were being hunted. There were a few locals milling about the area, mostly fishermen preparing to start their day. Rei approached a friendly looking man, tugging down the scarf that hid her mouth, and offered him a smile.
"Can you take me to your general?" She asked, not really sure what she was looking for. The man gave her a skeptical look, then seemed to seize her up. He hesitated a moment, then nodded, and walked away, obviously expecting her to follow. He approached a larger dwelling and turned to her, holding up a hand for her to halt, and then walked through the door. He emerged a few seconds later and returned to her.
"They're preparing for a meeting. Someone will fetch you when they're ready." He told her, and retreated back towards the dock. Rei felt her throat go dry as she shivered, fear clouding her senses as she sat down and hoped she would be inspired to speak the words that would gain their trust.

"Not again...how do they keep finding me?" He packed his things and ran around the back of his house. There was an explosions but he didn't even flinch. He got to his horse, Kiki, and grabbed a few provisions when he heard seven more smashes. He jumped Salave. We have no choice. It's either that or get killed. They think I'm dead just now, but they'll soon realize I escaped and then they will be coming after us. The boat leaves tomorrow. I'll get a ticket and you will be coming on too." They rode towards the nearest town to search for the port.

As he left the dreary bar and entered the night the cold breath of the sea wind brushed him from the doorway. The winds were blowing toward the inland, and from what he could see they had blown a few new boats into port. Walking down from the land to the docks he traveled along the docks. One of the ships had just come into port it seemed, one named "The Arctic Wind".
"Pretty fitting," He said as the crew disembarked. A pretty lass left the boat and went her way down and away but he kept his eyes on the ships crew. 'Perhaps they would be good for finding work?' He thought to himself as he waited outside the boat for a chance to speak to the busy captain.

Siro knew that there was a very dangerous kassik hiding in this town. A hunter by the name of Fault had told the King that although many Kassiks were retreating, a couple stubborn ones still stayed, believing that no harm would come to them as long as they stayed low and out of sight. However, the King was hellbent on extermination and he appointed Siro to lead one of the groups who were designated to "dislodge" these stubborn killers. He was given power to virtually do anything he wanted, whether it was to get a discount on an item or grab a couple soldiers off the royal guard. Or at least that's what he used to have. He abused it too much one time and he was stripped of many of the powers, through he could still get through checkpoints and the like with no hassle and could still get discounts and get a ship. Siro shook his head clear of those thoughts and got back onto the task at hand. Fault had said that a warmonger was hiding out there and that he would more likely then not raise some rabble to rebel against the King. It was very well known that warmongers were not only charismatic, but could easily wipe out a bunch of soldiers and guards single handliy. There were many tales and stories about it, each one getting gorier then the last. Siro picked out a couple of his most elite men that he trusted with his life through they probably didn't know it. Then he set out hunting for this kassik and managed to pin him down to this town after torturing a hunter into working for them as there was no time to run back to the palace to get one of the Kings own hunters. Of course the wild kassik was executed after he was done. After asking the few citizens still out on the streets, he reached a dilapidated building and knocked on the door while his retinue pulled out the weapons from the wagon and made sure they were sharp and ready. . An elderly man came out rubbing his eyes and roughly asked what they wanted and immediately let them in after seeing the medallion dangling from Siro's neck that he just know felt like pulling out. Well that and all the weapons. They asked him where their target was in the flat. He told them and Siro nodded his thanks and gave him a small bag of gold. Hrug, one of his soldiers, went up to the door of the kassiks flat and kicked the door down only to suddenly thrown against the wall so hard, it broke. Siro pulled out his sword as did the others in his retinue, some who had crossbows and axes. Siro decided to yell, " Kassik, by order of the King, you are to be executed on the ground of treason, and that's all you need to know. Surrender now and your death will be quick and painless." even through he knew it would be no good. The Kassik laughed and spat something about the King and proceeded to break another of the soldiers back. He then picked up one of the swords and began fighting with all of the remainig members of Siro's retinue at once, except for Siro himself and his constant companion, Taleth. Siro was amazed at how fast the kassik was butchering his men. Just like how other of its kind butchered his family. Siro slashed at the kassik in rage and was thrown back by the kassik who focused his attention towards him, now that off the retinue was either dead or dying. The kassik was about to stab him when Taleth threw himself in front of the blade and took it for Siro. This sacrifice brought him the time he needed and Siro pulled out his rahter compacy crossbow from his belt and fired a bolt point blank at the throat of the kassik who cauight the bolt and broke it. " Now your the only one left Siro. i've heard of you. You've kileld so many of my kind, even through your killing the wrong ones." this confused Siro who retorted, "What do you mean wrong ones. You kassiks are all wild.... only the King's retinue is civilized and decent beings. You lorded over us with your powers in the old ages." The kassik laughed, then said, " You really dont get it do you. I'm talking abo--" he never finished the sentence as Taleth pushed his sword through teh Kassiks heart. " Don't listen to that bastard." He started falling down and Siro caught him who panickly said, " No... your not dying here. I've lost too many people here, and I can't have you dieing especially." Taleth weakly smiled and said, "Sorry, my times up. Tell the King that we've kileld the bastard here. Move on. You'll get anotehr aide and a retinue, especailyl as you've know killed a warmonger." Suddenly he seized up and finally breathed his last breath. There were already sounds of people coming to see what had happened here. Screams followed and Siro walked out dripping in blood. He was so shocked that he hat lost possibly the closest thing he had to a friend, and the best men in his retinue. Also, what the kassik had said was disturbing. He managed to secure a horse and finally made it back to the palace where he kneeled down before the king and those aloof kassiks that advised him and said, " I've cleansed the towns of Mientanna, Krugerlz, Mahoz, Taleriem, and Mehsoav of kassiks. The rest have fled. However I've lost my most loyal retinue and Taleth, but I will perservere and will carry you your next order."

It had been a long night, another one frought with dreams. The disturbing, misleading kinds that his wife would often tell him to ignore, this time it was 'Spear' who had killed him. He shook his head, each week it was a different member of his Elites, even his wife on occasion. It hadn't mattered there was commotion, a guard, no two had informing him of an individual seeking an audience, he smiled once looking the two soldiers over. "How does he fare?" He asked quizzically.
His two guards cocked their head,"Sir?" The lieutenant had said. Shortly before informing him that it was the bloodied visage of Lord Siro they had seen. Good.
The King waved them off to fetch the lord, his most trusted human agent by far and so far the most successful. As he waited his gaze drifted sidelong to 'Nauticus' and 'Dread' the only two Elite Kassik still in the capital, with a few minor ones lining the walls behind the throne. The minor ones were of course, also conidered the expendable ones. Maybe he would pester 'Dread' to have the troops ready a tad earlier, hit Salave with their pants down. He was grinning.
He didn't have much time to plot, nor eat his fine muffin he had within his hands. Siro was quickly before him kneeling, and the muffin was set aside, the King forced to wait. It mattered not, this man was a prime example of those who worked dillegently to purify this land of the wild Kassik taint, and even the king himself had the upmost respect for him.
" I've cleansed the towns of Mientanna, Krugerlz, Mahoz, Taleriem, and Mehsoav of kassiks. The rest have fled. However I've lost my most loyal retinue and Taleth, but I will perservere and will carry you your next order."
His eyebrows raised as Siro finished, he hadn't expected the mission to go over so quickly. This however was a great boon in the grand scheme of things, a major step 'Nauticus' had outlined to the king the night before while playing their daily game of Chess.
"Lord Siro, once again you fail to dissapoint. You still remain one of the most effecient of my agents, out of both Kassik, and human. The loss of such an equally deadly retinue is a painful shame to our kingdom, however their sacrifices were not in vain. Because of your actions, and theirs we are even closer to wiping out the wild plague. 'Fault' has enlightened us of a new happen stance, one that I was hoping to keep in the dark, but must now be revealed to the kingdom. Flocks of Kassik are retreating to Salave, it is disgusting that the island will so balantly take the refuges in. None the less something must be done, 'Spear' is trying to route out all shipping to that area, but of course he can not be anywhere at once. Recently however, while monitoring the town of Talbim, one ship in particular has been spotted ferrying Kassik. 'The Artic Storm'. "
" This if fine, especially since the captain is currently not on to us, and it is also outside of our power last being sighted off the shore of Salave as it is. This captain, will be doing a service to our glorious land whether he knows it, or not. I wish you to go to the town, the next he attempts to live port. Customs search him, execute all Kassik found on board. If there are none, let him go, our privateers will finish him once he leaves. Treason is not taken lightly."
Licking his lips he continued, a smile breaking his face. "Despite the results of the former action, I require info on Salave, if you are up to it, you may comandeer the royal navy ship called 'Dragoon', it is a fast sloop and effecient for travelling, it has recently been refitted to appear as a fishing sloop. I wish to know exactly what numbers our armies will be facing. Succeed in this Lord Siro, and you shall be elevated to the status of Baron Siro. You may take the ten soldiers on board, and up to twenty of those stationed within the capital upon your leave. "
"Before you go, remember, my vision extends farther than my own eyes." With that he gave the man time to reply but remained silent himself. Implying that if it is not a question that needs answering, Siro may leave the castle.

"Well Kiki...looks like we are going to survive after all." He thought back to when he was caught abut a year ago.
(His memory)
The hand gripping Jonathan's shoulder tightened until it hurt but Jonathan just blocked out the pain.
"Not so tough now that you don't have your little stick huh?"
"It's called a bo staff and I'm just as deadly." Jonathan said through gritted teeth.
"Why have you been caught then? You'll never get away. You will die, there's no escaping it. We will kill you. I. Will. Kill. You."
