Image

|| Personality ||
Zoey is a sarcastic and pessimistic little b*tch who has a mouth that even a sailer would be ashamed of, who, one day, decided that life would just be that much easier if she made an enemy of the entire world. Which she has managed to do quite successfully with her sick, off hand comments and general demeaner that insults anyone with half a brain cell.
She doesnt trust anyone anymore than she can throw them and looks onto everyone she meets with a gaze off cold suspicion, Not giving two sh*ts about anyone but herself as she believes no one will give two sh*ts about her, and so far she hasn't been proven wrong. It's Zoey V The World as far as shes concerned, and shes not planning on losing.

Once you get to know her though she becomes more entertaining to be around, once you have gotten over her rude and sarcastic way of speaking, as she always has something to say on something, no matter what it is, she has got an opinion about it. Beyond her obvious traits of bitchiness, zoey is actually a very opinionated and proud person, who is able to spot the small details and drop a little dark or dry humored comment when she situation arises.

Image

|| History ||
Zoey is too old now that she has long since forgotten her past, though sometimes old dreams come back to haunt her if she is not in a deep enough sleep, and she has accreted this. She has seen and lived many lives, watched those she might if cared about live and die while she lives on. There is too much in her past to right down, enough to fill hundreds of books and she honestly can't be bothered to try and remember it all. She is who she is. Her past made her like she is now but instead of dwelling on the ancient past, Zoey simply loves in the present and looks to the future.

Zoey gave a small groan as the sun began to raise over the horizon. She was to far from the house to make it back without a small degree of pain and in her current mood that wasn't a good thing.
Dropping the unconscious body of a young man to the floor, his face ashen and veins appearing on his temple, she turned away and exited the small alleyway into the street. All was silent as no one was awake yet and the high street stood deserted, silent in one of its rare moments of tranquility.

Slipping on a pair of dark sunglasses and popping on an old baseball cap the young man has been carrying, Zoey made her way back to the coven house. Everyone would probably be going to bed right about now, being unable to move around during the day did that to vampires, though that often came at a disadvantage when both the werewolf pack and witch coven could move around freely during the day while they were forced to sleep.

Entering the forest and avoiding most of the early mornings painful rays, Zoey arrived at the lake where the covens house stood tall in the dawning sun. Entering through the main entrance, Zoey gave an obnoxiously loud shout of greeting. "HAY BABES!!! I'M BACKKK!!!" Snorting when she heard a few groans from upstairs as one or two of the coven members awoke.

Maybe it was a bizarre thing to say but Zoey was a morning person, and often stayed up late into the morning while the rest of her coven slept, this also made her sleep in rather late when the sun set. No one could really explain her weirdness with the morning and neither could Zoey, but in her human life she had been a morning person and always watched the sun appear over the horizon.

Entering the deserted kitchen, Zoey made her way to the kettle and boiled up a small pot of Blackcurrent and Vanilla tea. Opening up the darkened window of the kitchen, Zoey felt the slight burn of the sun but ignored it and instead rested her head on her arms and watched the ball of flame raise, setting the whole sky on fire with red, orange and yellow hues.

"Today's going to be an interesting day..." She commented to herself as she took a sip from her tea, after all the shepards always did say 'red in the morning, shepards warning.' Maybe it would rain and she could get a few more hours outside while the clouds covered the sun.

He chuckled at the sound of Zoey and stopped Sigrid and himself from walking, only to cover her up with his coat, making sure she was covered well from the light. "I might be a cruel man sometimes, but I could never let a lady die for me, even if she is second in command, or the worlds greatest warrior. Remember I chose you for a reason. Don't doubt it now." He smiled up at her and rubbed her cheek.

He watched her speak her next words as he staid knelt onto the ground, his fingers adjusting the coat to fit her. "Well..." He paused and stood up once he was done, standing beside her, he could feel her gaze. "It is to say that is for sure. I guess we wont know until it happens, it isn't like they go alone on this." He stared off into the distance and his body became like a statue, but he glanced over at Sigrid. "I just want you to understand that the intention of bringing the younger generation into this, wasn't the plan. But things to happen and if any of them get in my way, I'd kill them." He smiled at her as if that didn't faze him to kill without hesitation.

After that he took her by the hand and walked towards to were Zoey made herself welcome. "Causing trouble already little Miss" He smirked at her. "Welcome home. Sigrid and myself are about to go get a little bite to eat. Care to join? We'd have to make it quick so you little birdies do not become over cooked out there." He took bother of their hands and brought them to his lips, lightly kissing them both at one.

Cieed always love to have people watch him eat, in fact he enjoyed it a little too much, but he also loved the company of a good chit chat while out on his strole. Letting both their hands go he chuckled again as he took his leave outside. The fresh air was a bit overwhelming. It smelt to clean and open. Though he did enjoy it sometimes he didn't really care for the open space it gave off.

He waited for the ladies to catch up as he took a moment to take in the soon, letting his eyes adjust to the horrid bright light. It always did make him a bit moody, it was hot and bright and it did no use for him. "Remind me next time to order the guards to kill this god for saken sunlight. This worlds deserves no light, darkness shall be it's curse and our strength." He mumbled mostly to himself, but he was sure that the two could hear him perfectly well.

He snickered at his words and rocked on his heels slightly as he turned to face them. "What sounds good enough to bite today? You- one of you pick?" He waved his hand in the air to flutter away his correction and then placed his finger on his temple, still feeling drained.

Vencent sat up in his bed hearing a yell of words. It was Zoey again. "I hate it when that girl does that" He said softly to himself, "Why does she have to be a morning yeller?" He moved his feet to meet the floor and stands his window open letting in a few rays of light. He moves to it pulling back the shades the rays of the sun beaming over him. His skin slowly starts to smoke being a born vampire the son will not kill him but it still burns his skin. He stayed there for a moment looking out at the sun small burn forming on his bare chest and arms. He showed no pain in his face and felt it even less the pain he felt for not being a ture worror anymore for all these years felt worse.

Vencent moved out of the light and grabed a black no sleeve shirt off the floor putting it on. He sat down only long enough to put his combat boot on pulling the leg of his pants down over the top of them. He could hear light talking coming closer and closer to his room. He could tell it wasn't a maid or a cook it sounded more light but powerful. "Cieed," he said to himself "And it sounds like he could have others with him."

The sound of Cieed's voise came from the hall right outside his door. "What sounds good enough to bite today? You- one of you pick?"

Vencent moved to the door way popping his neck slowly he had forgotten all about the meeting that night but what did he care most of the time he stayed around the lords of the house so if they would go so would he. He opened the door moving out of it right behind Cieed looking at him and answered what he had asked, "How bout we go into town and find a young one to feed from sir." With that he pulls out a cig and lighter lighting it and taking a few drags.

Zoey looked up as Cieed and Sigrid, who seemed to be wrapped in a coat, walked into the kitchen and sent them a small nod in greeting as she continued to sip her tea, sun burning her skin slightly. "Causing trouble already little Miss" She glanced up and returned his smirk and stood up from her leaning position, placing her teacup on the counter. "Me? Why I would never cause unnecessary trouble." she said while smiling cutely, now standing next to the pair.

"Welcome home. Sigrid and myself are about to go get a little bite to eat. Care to join? We'd have to make it quick so you little birdies do not become over cooked out there.", giving a small smirk, she let him take her hand and kiss it before retracting it and gave him an amused smile, "Good to be back. Sounds fun, though you really need to get control of your food fetish.", she said with a smirk, pulling her dark shades down from her head to cover her eyes once again. Her leader and his second in command were the few people she found she could enjoy spending time with, without insulting their every move.

Falling into step behind Cieed as he exited the house, slipping on a dark bomber jacket she had kept hold of since the world war, in hopes of keeping as much of the burning rays off her body. She was lucky, due to being over 500 years old she had long since gotten used to the slight burn that came with the suns light though some of the newer and younger vamps who had been turned recently still found the sun could cause terrible skin injury.

"Remind me next time to order the guards to kill this god for saken sunlight. This worlds deserves no light, darkness shall be it's curse and our strength." Zoey gave a snicker at her leaders comment before speeding up so she now stood next to him and sent him a side long smirk, "Now, now leader dear, let's not be grumpy just because of a little sunlight. Were better than that, if those puppies and cultist can manage the sun than I say we vamps suck it up." she said as she turned her gaze directly to the sunlight.

Zoey paused and turned back to the two as Cieed began to talk again. "What sounds good enough to bite today? You- one of you pick?", Zoey nodded, noting the slight mistake and the look of weariness that leaked into the older vampire features.

"It's all up to you Sigrid, though it's two late to get any of the younger crowd. Our best bet might be a drunkard who passed out, or we could break into a house. I have a few suggestions if we got for the latter." she commented nonchalant as she began to examine her razor sharp nails, painted black with three red gems resting on the nail bed.

Sigrid listened dutifully to Cieed, smiling when he smiled and allowed herself to be bundled up in his coat. Sigrid was used to others attempting to treat her as a child considering she still looked like one although she was very specific about who she allowed to treat her as such. Cieed was one such person, but then again he never underestimated Sigrid’s strength or intelligence.

Favoring Zoey with a nod and a wink she fell back into silence as she was wont to do and became the observer. It occasionally made other beings nervous, the vampiric way of growing still and blank but it was quite a common occurrence for them. For Sigrid it was a time to take in every minute detail and file it away for later for closer inspection. Currently it was because she tired, hungry and nervous.

Snatching her white sunhat and parasol as she passed the threshold into the light she quickly covered herself in the shade provided. Sigrid detested the daylight and would be sound asleep save for the worries that still plagued her. At the sound of Vencent, Sigrid whirled around with a grin on her face. Vencent has always been one of her favorites and she was quite glad that he’d been spared.

Peering through her sunglasses to her coven mates she shrugged lightly and tilted her hat back so as to see them unobstructed. “My choice then? Vencent wants to go into town, Zoey. I don’t know how keen I am on traveling so far in the sunlight, considering we’re trying to keep a low profile. At least for now.” Sigrid said aloud as if she were speaking to herself although she was perfectly aware the rest heard her and could follow her thought pattern.

“Perhaps something close, somewhere lonely. We can feed and then return to gather our strength for tonight. Zoey, Vencent, ideas? Sigrid asked sweetly, turning her cherubic face to the older vampires in her company remaining close to Cieed’s side.

Image You could hear the sound of Vencent's door opening up and the patter of his feet against the floor as he walked right behind Cieed. "How bout we go into town and find a young one to feed from sir." With that he pulls out a cig and lighter lighting it and taking a few drags.

"It's all up to you Sigrid, though it's two late to get any of the younger crowd. Our best bet might be a drunkard who passed out, or we could break into a house. Cieed grimaced for a moment in thought, rubbing his jaw.

“Perhaps something close, somewhere lonely. We can feed and then return to gather our strength for tonight. Zoey, Vencent, ideas?" Sigrid asked sweetly, turning her cherubic face to the older vampires in her company remaining close to Cieed’s side.

Cieed rubbed his forehead. He wasn't really up for waiting much longer for them to pick out a place. Not feeding for a while now he was already pushing his limits. Unlike his Coven, Cieed was one that could last a very long time without eating, in fact if he didn't eat, he'd just fall into a deep sleep, until he did get blood. But he didn't want that to happen, so he better eat soon. "Yes yes, sure whatever, just pick soon. Or I might just feed on the help." He started to walk away from the group heading towards the town and not the city, there was less people there and it wouldn't cause much attention to them.

He didn't really care on the other hand, if attention was brought to him, he'd just kill whoever was in the way. Ah, but today was different, he ad to play being the good boy. Try telling that to an old human man, he'd probably beat you with a cane and tell you to mind your business. What irritated him the most was that this world was being run by kids. Children! Even the witches were all young and his Coven. Wasn't like he could comment on the Wolves, dogs never lived too long to begin with, not even in the mythical world.

Wasn't long before he caught scent of a child's blood in the air. The sweet smell of the little girls blood made him smirk with a slight moan. "Kids smell so sweet these days, better than the adult humans." He glanced back at the others and chuckled. "Have fun my loves a feast well, tonight we wont be able to hunt, so do it now. For we have a long night ahead of us. So choose your meals well, we need to be strong, to be prepared." You never knew what was about to happen, so he wanted everyone to be at their strongest. He was on the other hand hoping there would be a fight, he could always use the fun to putting up with a Witch, those ungodly things. He never liked the Witches, not in his many centuries did he ever like one of them. If there was a day he did like one, he'd more likely be dead.

Image That morning they went on their hunt. He didn't really care on the other hand, if attention was brought to him, he'd just killed whoever was in the way. Ah, but today was different, he had to play being the goodboy.

Wanted everyone to be at their strongest. He was on the other hand hoping there would be a fight, he could always use the fun to putting up with a Witch, those ungodly things. He never liked the Witches, not in his many centuries did he ever like one of them. If there was a day he did like one, he'd more likely be dead. Cieed never really got the chance to properly know one of the new born witches. Mainly because he'd figured that they'd be monopolized by the Elders. Never had time for that crap. To him the Elders were the type of witches who were the kind to be 'this is my world, I got the power, so I run it. Obey my rules or be punished.' So on and so on. That's how they were. Cieed on the other hand didn't see it that way. He saw that everyone had their own power. That everyone should follow their own rules. But the witches did infact have more power. So it was left with no other choice. Follow their rules or be dead.

This was why Cieed and the witches never got along. He hated rules, though he understood them, he never cared to follow up by them. What the witches didn't know wouldn't hurt them, he'd always say. Break the rules do whatever you want as long as you don't get caught. But there was one rule that he did go by. Never cross over the wrong territory. Vampires on their own turf, just like wolves to their own and so on. This was his utmost number one rule. They centuries are changing, hiding who you are isn't as easy as it use to be. The more time passes the harder it gets. Starting wars between different kinds would mean war with the humans. A dangerous card to play. Like a joker or wild card.

Didn't take the vampires long to reach the hideout. But the staid within the shadows before walking inside the building, waiting on the others to come in. He was curious as to the new born witches. But who he really wanted to see is their leader. He was told that the boy they choice was to be the light of their source. So he waited in silence like a statue for the others to arrive. The sun had fallen and the witches should be here soon. He didn't really pay no mind to the wolves, he already knew what was going on with them. But no one really knew of the witches, they were very secretive and it struck his attention.
