Kendra smiled, playing with her only daughter, Tristen. Kendra pushed Tristen on the swing, hearing her squeal, "Mommy, go higher!"Kendra pushed harder, and Tristen couldn't touch the ground.
"Higher, higher!" Tristen exclaimed, gripping the ropes of the swing tightly with her small hands.
Kendra sighed, pushing a little harder, and letting her mind wander off as her body stayed put, still pushing Tristen. Tristen had grown up without a father. Kendra's told her about Tyler, and how amazing their love used to be. Tristen would always ask to hear the story of her father all the tome, and after Kendra told her, she'd always ask the same question. "How come Daddy left?" Kendra could never answer that question, always ending it with, "he had to." Or, "Your father left because..." And then tickling her, saying he lived them soo much that he had to leave because there was too much love.
Kendra was starting to ask the same question herself... And wanted to know the answer.

Zoe smiled at Ethan, "You're such a cute little baby," she said in a baby voice, and she tickled him, making him giggle.
Kendra laughed at Tristen, then went and sat next to Summer.
Tristen jumped off the swing, and ran to catch up. "Mommyyy!"
Kendra chuckled, taking a seat. "Whaattt?" She caught Tristen in her arms, smiling. "Say, where's Uncle Kyle? Isn't he supposed to be "hanging out" with you today?"
Tristen then frowned. "He is! He promised! I don't know where he is, though." She shrugged, and sighed, looking around the park.
Meanwhile, Kendra nudged Summer's arm. "So.. boyfriend yet? I heard you were lookin'." She smiled teasingly.

"All I can say is... " She whispered in Summer's ear, "Make sure he's the one." She smiled fakely, and kissed Tristen's head. "Sometimes the one that you think is the one, really isn't. "
Tristen laid back against Kendra, closing her eyes, as she'd already worn herself out from the swing.
Kendra moved the hair out of Tristen's eyes, and leaned back against the bench. "Honestly, I don't think you need one. Sure, sometimes he can make you feel like you're the only girl in the world, but, does it ever end well?"

"I know I should live in the present. I'm trying, Summer." She paused for a moment. "There's a guy I want you to meet. His name's Colton, I think." Kendra whipped out her phone, careful not to wake the sleeping Tristen.
First, she texted Kyle,
"Where are you?"
Then, she texted Colton.
"Swing by the park. There's the perfect girl for you."
Colton was lounging in a cafe, sipping on a mocha frappe, and reading poetry by Emily Dickinson. He jumped when his phone buzzed with a text. It was Kendra. He knew her, and Tyler from their hometown, as he grew up there too. He knew Kyle, because when is Kyle not near her? It kinda creeped him out a bit, but he just shrugged it off.
"Coming now."
He texted back quickly, and left the cafe. He was only half an hour away.
Kendra shook her head. "Are you serious? I know you wouldn't." She scrunched her face. "Besides, you'd know if I was hooking you up. "
Colton quickly crossed the street, soon arriving at the park. He scanned it carefully, looking for the blonde, and quickly spotted her sitting next to a cute brunette. He smiled, walking up.
"Well, hello ladies."
Colton laughed, and stuck out his hand politely. "Well, hello Cheeseballs, I'm Colton." He snickered, and turned to Kendra. "I presume this is the girl?"
Kendra simply nodded, and stood up, holding a sleeping Tristen where her head was on Kendra's shoulder, and her arms dangled. "Yes. That's the girl." She laughed at Summer's comment, and waved to them. "I guess we have a canceled date, so, I need to get sleepyhead home. Nice seeing you two. " She then looked behind Summer at Zoe. "Are you going home?"

"I'm uh Summer, not Cheeseballs," Summer smirked at Colton, and she shook his hand.
"Sure.. Kyle's not coming, I guess. Tristen's going to be furious when she wakes up, the poor girl. " Kendra felt herself getting mad, as she walked with Zoe to their cars. "He's going to get chewed out." She said blankly.
"Of course. A girl as pretty as you couldn't have a name so stupid." He smirked back, and put his hands in his jean pockets. "So, Summer, what brings you to New York?"
"I don't blame you for chewing him out," Zoe smirked.
"Maybe you should come over later tonight. See some Kyle vs. Kendra action." Kendra winked at her, and sighed, putting Tristen in the back seat of her Honda Civic, carefully. One hand was behind Tristen's head to keep it from wobbling, and the other making sure she was set down safely. Kendra buckled her up, and tilted her head opposite of the door, so it wouldn't get hurt, as she shut the back door.
"I'd have to agree. " He paused, then looked up at Summer with a smirk. "You're beautiful."
Man, She's gorgeous...

Colton smiled. "I was just about to get some coffee. Want to come?"
He had already been that morning, but would take a second trip just for her, if she accepted.
Kendra laughed, hopping in. "Am I driving you or are you driving behind me?" She looked confused.
"I'd love to," Summer smiled and nodded to Colton.
Colton smiled, and held out his arm for Summer to loop hers through. "M'lady." He smiled politely.
"You don't have a boyfriend or anything do you? I'd hate to have to take you away from him." Colton chuckled.
"So you are." Colton nodded.
They'd gotten to the cafe, and were sitting down at a table, sipping/eating whatever they got. Colton just had a simple coffee with cream and sugar.
"So... should we go for a walk in the park maybe? I don't really know much to do here."

Collectibles
