Personality Description:
In contrast to his imposing physical stature, Toa has a heart of gold, as well as being a loyal and grateful to his Tribe. Toa Maunga has also been shown to be a very forgivable person even if his friend is corrupt, or how evil they are, no matter how many innocent people they've killed, and even if they're trying to kill him. This may be considered a weakness to some, but it has earned him the adoration of many. He is not tough or cruel to his Tribe, preferring to lead them with an honest heart and in doing so, show them how to better the world around them. He has a very poor sense of direction, often going missing from the tribe for days when he was only supposed to be away for a few hours. Despite his gentle giant persona, Toa is a powerful fighter, with a feral cunning and knack for quickly exploiting openings his opponent gives him. He will never kill an opponent, no matter what their crimes as he believes everyone can be redeemed. He has stated that it is his duty to guard this land from the horrors others wish to bring upon it, but will not sentence them to death as he is not a fit judge for such a task. He will however allow his tribesmen kill others during times of battle or war as his belief is a personal code and not one he wishes to force on his people. When confronted, Toa is calm and collected, not allowing his emotions to get the better of him. However, when angered, he is like a mountain given human form, an unrelenting turret aimed directly at those who have upset him.

Biographical History:
Growing up, Toa was something of a troublemaker. He was known to lash out at authority figures and get into fights on a near daily basis. He parents were heroes within the Earth Tribe, but, like all great heroes, met their end when he was at an early age. A Landslide threatened a small village on the outskirts of the Earth Tribe, a tragic event that claimed both their lives but saved the village. Toa was treated well by those in the village, but he rebelled against this, not seeing what his parents saw in this place and why they had to sacrifice themselves for it. He was gifted in his ability to manipulate the earth around him, but he was unrefined, using his powers based purely on emotion and nothing else. This power, coupled with his size, made him an incredible asset to the Tribe if he was able to be tamed. The former leader would often send people to talk to him, but they would often returned bloody and bruised, indicating talks did not go well. Eventually, the Leader sent his daughter, Mora, a beautiful girl with a love of the tribe and the land. It was not the Leader's intention to try and have her woo Toa, but allow the natural charisma within her to shine through and maybe help him see the light. Toa was suspicious of the girl at first, but was willing to give it a shot if only to get everyone off his back.

Mora would often drag Toa around the land with her, forcing him to help her investigate situations and help those around the village. He was unwilling through most of this, often dragging his feet and refusing to do anything. He did however provide phenomenal back-up for her, often scary away any who would try anything. It took a few months, but Toa started to respect Mora, believing she would one day be a great Leader within the Tribe. About three years ago, Mora started to get sick. Toa by this time had developed into a strong, capable young man. He scoured the land looking for a healer for her, but it was not to be. Not long after she passed away, her father did as well. The Tribe believed it was of a broken heart, an assertion Toa could not argue against. In a rather odd turn of events, Toa was selected as the next Leader of the tribe as the heir apparent up until that point was Mora. Without a successor named, Toa accepted the responsibility of the Tribe. He was no longer the hedonistic troublemaker of his youth. He was a gifted man with a capable mind and unquestionable willpower. While many questioned the decision, his conviction and strength were something everyone could see.

Image
Toa is a tall, muscular warrior with a wild and aggressive appearance. He has a dark, badly trimmed goatee with two braids on the end of it. Despite his position and personality, he is almost a wildman in appearance, donning fur greaves, boots, and bracers. He most distinguishable feature is his overall size, often appearing as a giant to those who first see him. He almost always has a smile on his face, but when he loses his composure the monster you would expect might end up rearing its ugly head.

A horse, how terrific...

"You have been on a horse before, right?"

"No, not really..." Mumbled Enir while she gave the horse a nervous look. So how did you get up on one? Well... Let's just climb or something like that. So that's what she did and she did succeed after some failures. And she felt a bit embarrassed about that fact, she probably should start training and get to know her body again when the other ones are doing theirs... what they now do. She didn't like being an obstacle. She should probably figure out how she could control the plats again too, you never know when she's going to need it.

As the company started their travel Enir was mostly hoping for the horse to just... be nice and follow the others. Since she was panicking on the inside by the fact that she didn't want to get behind the others and lose them. But the horse kind of did its own thing, maybe it felt her anxiety and didn't want to create more - she was just happy that everything seemed fine. And she was happy that she got the chance to see this, she liked what she saw. It felt harmonious. So what Toa told her about the war and the problems shocked her. The tribes wasn't working together anymore? How surprising... Everything was so good back then, well mostly good. What happened?

"There was something that got me wondering, what do you mean by robbing the land of its life? The only thing they can do is control the water, right? So how can that harm the land?" Enir was sincere in the question, she didn't know. That was one of the abilities developed after her time, so it was like a mystery to her.

She took a silent minute once again to think about what she had heard and the question that was going around and around in her mind was why the war had started. But did Toa really know that? Maybe, or maybe not. Well he did know why his tribe was embroiled in the war against the Water. But why had what that destruction started? Why did Fire and Water fight? The previous leaders liked each other, they were good friends. So how did it turn out like this?

"Why did the war start?"

Toa

"There was something that got me wondering, what do you mean by robbing the land of its life? The only thing they can do is control the water, right? So how can that harm the land?"

Toa looked back to Enir, his faced pained from having to even describe what destruction was being wrought. "The Water Tribe has... developed their powers. Many are able to rob the land of the water within it. Plants. Trees. Thee Water is being drained from them. One would think the Fire would scorched the land, but nature is fierce. It will grow back. But, to be robbed of its water... that's a different matter entirely." Toa patted the side of his horse, the images of what the Water had done in the past leaving a permanent scar within his mind. Long ago, Toa couldn't care less about what happened to the land. But, Mora showed him differently. Toa believed that the Water simply thought it could repair the damage it had caused once the war was over. Such a narrow-minded view of things was something that seemed omnipresent in this war.

"Why did the war start?"

Toa chuckled a bit in response to the question. "Why does any war start? Fire. Water. these elements oppose each other, constantly battling back and forth since the beginning of time. The Water would say the Fire attacked them. The Fire would say they were simply defending their lands. Honestly, it doesn't matter. Who hurt who, or who owes who, none of that matters. Once the fighting starts, both sides are wrong." Toa looked up at the bright moon that lighted their path, thinking on old stories he had been told about its origin. "That is why we are going to Lakeshore. I hope that they will see the suffering their war has caused. I hope they agree to peace. If not, the land will continue to suffer. And with it, the people." Toa looked back at Enir and grinned. "Well, I would say you picked a great time to reenter the world, Enir. Hopefully, I can treat your arrival as a sign that now is the time to change."

Enir listened to what he had to say, she had figured out that that could have been a possibility since the Earth had developed as well. But well the Waters development was... terryfing to say the least. To be able to drain water from living things? No wonder they had upsetted people, even if they tried to fight back because of what the fire did... by proctecting that they destroyed as much right? So why protect anything from the beginning - it felt kind of stupid since it was like Toa said. Ashes nutured the earth, new things can grow fromwithin that. But nothing can grow or live where the nature is dried, dead. How... interesting.

"Why does any war start? Fire. Water. These elements oppose each other, constantly battling back and forth since the beginning of time."

Enir couldn't help but smile at that statement, "You are wrong. Fire and Water was those which agreed with each others the most, they were the most powerfull and by that shared a understanding. Their leaders stood closer to each other than any of the others."

When it came to the rest of the statement she couldn't do more than nood, with that he was thinking right. Both sides are wrong when already fighting, everything else was just excuses. She didn't see any point in leaving a comment on that, he already new it was right either way so no need for her to confirm it.

Enir looked forward to seeing Lakeshore, even if they were in war from two fronts she imagined it being a beautiful city. It sounded like that on the name, it was a long time since she had seen water. Well... even longer if she counts in the tree years, which she didn't feel like thinking about at the moment. She wanted to feel excitment towards that and thinking back only brought pain and regret.

"Well, I would say you picked a great time to reenter the world, Enir. Hopefully, I can treat your arrival as a sign that now is the time to change."

Enir laughed slightly when he said that, "Feel free to think of it anyway you want, but a time that brings change sounds like a good thing. Hopefully it will and towards the better, I do not like the thought of what was once a great cooperation broken down in pieces because of something no one can remember. If you all just worked together as we did you could form the land anyway you wanted it too, you could do so much more together than seperated."
