Morwen
Morwen sat in her usual spot behind the counter. She had just sold a bouquet and one of her sister's 'Longer life for Flowers' potion. She looked out the window and more supernaturals had arrived. "Nerry!" She shouted. "Are you up yet?" She listened as heavy footsteps ran around up stairs and then a large thud. "Oh my gods, what has she done?" Morwen left her spot and climbed the stairs. She knocked once and walked in, Nerwen was lying on the floor with one boot on and her dress on back to front.

Nerwen
She grinned at Morwen. "Hello Morry." She lifted herself off the ground and adjusted her dress so it was the right way round. "Okay." She looked up to her sister. "Yep, I'm up." She then remembered it was her day off, "Hey! It's my day off." She told her sister. "You aren't spending it in bed." Nerwen frowned at her sister, when her sister turned to walk down the stairs, she stuck her tongue out and followed her sister. She climbed over the counter and left the shop. She noticed the two strangely dressed men. "I didn't know it was halloween." She shrugged and skipped her way towards the forest. "I'll make an outfit later."

Nerry noticed the old man and his younger friend, the old man was looking at a purple flower. "They're really pretty, aren't they?" She looked at the man with a smile. She looked at the man with the goatee and impersonated a goat.

"Pretty." Kul said in agreement, before continuing, "But fleeting. Have you ever pondered on why all things of beauty are short lived?" He asked turning the flower around in his hand. Krell, of course, did not move from his position, but he had no personality, no life, no... true feelings, so it would have surprised more if Krell had responded then the fact that he did not. "Perhaps the Gods simply despise things that compete with them." Kul said before turning to his, would it be guest?

She looked like an elf, and if someone looked like an elf, said a flower was pretty, and was in the woods when most girls her age would have been playing on their... what did they call them? Yes, phones, then she was an indeed an elf. "Maybe if it lived too long, we would no longer appreciate its beauty. What do you think?" He asked, it had been a few years since he had conversation. His visitors were far and few in between, and he did not venture into the town often sending Krell in his place to get things for the cabin and more books with which to occupy his time.

Nerry was shocked by the unresponsiveness of the goatee man. "Is he alright?" She asked. She managed to take her gaze from the man and looked at the elderly one. "Well the goddess of beauty has been around longer than all of us and her beauty is still appreciated." She shrugged with a smile. "Would you like me to make you a bouquet from the flowers?" She smiled at him. "Free of charge and with my own potion that helps them live longer." She sat down with her legs crossed and started to make the flowers grow stronger and bigger. She cut them and organised them into a pretty blend of bright colours and dark and light greens. She then took the ribbon from her hair and tied the flowers together with a pretty bow. She then took a small vial from her pouch and raised them up to the man with a smile. She then realised she didn't wait for his reply. "Oops. I'm sorry, I'm just used to make bouquets without thinking. Probably because the reason most people talk to me is for a bouquet." She let out a little laugh.

"He is... a little different." Kul admitted, "He takes his job rather seriously." Which of course, he did, but that was because Krell was not really given another choice. "Well." Kul said nodding to her answer, "Next time you see her, be sure to take a picture as I do not think I have seen this Goddess of Beauty." He highly doubted anyone had. She asked a rather strange question, and before Kul could formulate an answer, she was working, and he felt it would be rude to interrupt, so he watched on in silence.

"Thank you for the gift." Kul said adding in the purple flower before taking the bouquet. He assumed she most likely did do it out of a sense of familiarity, when stuck in a unfamiliar situation, the smallest familiar actions helped to center the mind.

"Forgive my manners." Kul said before motioning to the large immobile being, "He is Krell, and my name is..." He stopped pausing, he did remember his name, but it had been thousands of years since it was spoken, "I am called Kul."

She smiled as he took the bouquet from her,"You'll need to put a drop of the potion in it everyday. Just one drop." She looked confused when he mentioned his name. "I haven't heard them names before." She told him, her eyes looking into the old man's. "Well, I'm Nerwen, but I prefer Nerry." She looked into the forest, none of the animals had come out to play yet. "Hmm, I wonder where they are?" She thought aloud.

Nerry sensed the coming storm and stood up. "We better find some shelter. A storm's coming." She started heading back to the village but then the rain started and the village was to far. "The forest canopy is a good shelter." She spun on her heel and walked into the trees. The rain was getting worse and worse, forcing Nerry to go further into it and then she heard the terrible thunder and witnessed the lightning. "By the gods, what is this magic?" She asked as a large smite could be seen far into the forest, she could feel vibrations and the forest screaming as trees were uprooted and under growth burned. She turned and started to run, scared that whatever caused such a smite wasn't friendly.

Nerry fell on top of the man, she recognised him from earlier. "I'm so sorry." She said as she picked herself up and offered a hand to the man. "Why are you in the forest?" She asked, noticing that Kul was nowhere to be seen. "I guess he took shelter. Oh shit, I left him in the rain!" She shouted as she slapped both hands onto her face, her hands slowly sliding down. She turned back to the samurai. "Sorry. You were saying?"

Kanaye took her hand and stood up, "I was investigating the cause of the storm, next thing I know I'm on the ground." He laughed an smiled, showing it was no big deal to him. The samurai looked back to where he had left the man he met before then, "I guess this town is a magnet to all the strange people in the world." He looked at the girl, noticing her pointed ears and uncommon beauty. He got closer suddenly looking at her comically like he was studying her, "Hey, your not human are you?"

"Well it wasn't any sort of natural storm... or a magic, that I know of, storm." She laughed at him. "That's why you're here, anyway, everyone's strange in some way or another." She blushed and her ears fluttered slightly. "Nope, neither's my sister. We're elves." She looked into his eyes, which were uncomfortably close to hers. "You aren't either. Well, maybe you were, but you're so old now."

Emerging from the trees, Br'nard spied two small figures on the road ahead, standing close to one another and apparently deep in conversation.

The Einherjar frowned slightly as he approached, an Elf girl and a Human boy... Neither was the creature he sought.

Raising his eyes to the horizon, The Barbarian predicted himself to be around halfway through the forest, the town lay ahead and with it, perhaps a lead on the Demon he hunted.

Nodding to the pair as he passed, Br'nard strode on down the dirt track towards his destination...

"Elf where isss your king!? I wish to ssspeak to him!" Sahlidain said to the girl in a commanding voice as he approached. Her appearance and scent was unmistakable from the same who his people had enslaved in conquest. Ah elven slaves made the best...entertainers. Humans were better for hard labor. "Thisss town isss ssstrange and I have no wish to sssstay in it any longer. Ssso take me to him now!" He turned to Kanaye. "I have another question. Why isss thisss the only elf that I have ssseen? Isss thisss a human dominated kingdom?"

"Who does he think he is E.T?" She asked looked at the man, who weirdly hissed every word with an s. "There isss no King." She told him. "There isss a Queen and Prime minissster." She told him mockingly. She then felt a different nature surrounding him. "You aren't human. You don't exist!" She backed away, tripping over the root of a tree.

She expected to land on mud and plants but instead she was in the arms of the samurai. "So much ancient magic. Norse, Atlantic and Oriental." She stood back up. Noticed that she was in the forest and sighed. "Morry is gonna kill me." She whispered to herself.

Morwen
Morwen sat behind the counter, listening to the storm and wondering why Nerwen hadn't come back. She closed the shop early and wandered outside, the storm had mysteriously vanished. "Why didn't I see this?" She started to walk towards the forest. She passed many friends and neighbours, smiling and waving to them as she passed. She couldn't see Nerwen anywhere near the edge. She started to panic, she lifted the long skirt of her dress and started to run. "Nerry!" She screamed, stumbling over roots and plants. She could she 2 men and Nerwen, she seemed panicky. "Get away from my sister!" She screamed, forming a flame in her hand.

"I doubt that." The flame grew. "My sister knows not to enter these forests, you probably dragged her in." She growled at him before throwing the fire ball. She followed her fire ball and grabbed her sister's arm. Starting to drag her out from the forest.

Nerwen
"Yep that's her." She told him. "I came in here because of the storm. The village was to far and the canopy was perfect shelter." She shouted over to her sister and took note of the fire ball in her hand. She focused on her magic and formed a water ball which she threw at her sister's fire ball. She was then being pulled from where she stood. "Bye bye." She said to the men with a small wave.

Sahlidain was furious with the elfs answer. Then she looked as though she was in shock, tripping only to have Kanaye catch her. Before he was able to skin her alive for that remark another elf came to them yelling. He turned his head to see what the "sister" was doing. She was preparing some fire magic, it was relativly weak and could easily be avoided, but the human next to him may be severly injured. The other elf threw water to counteract the fireball. This was a waste of time and both elves were still in need of punishment though he would make damn well sure of that. He placed his hand on a nearby tree. "Your eyesss go far and wide. Tell me where they may lie. Your earsss hear the cracking of the earth, show me what they ssspurt. For you are sssoul of the foressst as well as the eldst." He spoke to the plant, shutting out all his senses in order to use its own.

"That extinct man is talking to my trees!" She screamed at her sister. Starting to fight her sister' grip. "Let me go!" She hissed at her. "I'm gonna make him pay for corrupting Rupert!"

Morwen
"By the gods." She stopped and pulled her sister in front of her. "It's a bloody tree. There's many more." She said to her in a strict and cold voice. "Now we are going home." She said pointing to the village.
When they reached the village, Morwen dragged Nerwen straight back to the shop. Once inside, Morwen kept her voice cold and strict. "You are to never go near the forest ever again, not even to the edge. Now go to your room." She pointed to the stairs and Norwen walked over to them in a huff. "You used to be fun." She heard her whisper before she went up the stairs. Morwen turned around and opened up the shop again.

"I'll be sure to remember to put the drops in." Kul said, but he understood her confusion over their names, it was not his true name, and Krell was... a rather old barbarian. "I do not blame you, we do not venture into town very often, it is... better that we remain apart from society." For their own good... With today's transportation it would be a simple thing to infect the world with an undead plague so vast it would be unable to be stopped, and thanks to such pointed out and secluded graveyards, Kul could raise an army that would cover the world, but he did not wish to travel that path once again, he knew where it ended.

"I will remember your name." Kul said simply, and he would, he never forgot anything. Where was what? Was she waiting for someone? If she was curious as to why it was so quite, animals could sense Kul... aura of death and so never came close to him. Dogs and wolves would bark and cower at his presence... usually preferring to run if possible.

"Rain? How odd." Kul said, it showed no signs of rain before. Thousand clashed and rain pattered, and while the elf ran for cover, Kul and Krell remained where they were. They could not feel the rain as it pattered against their bodies as all his nerves were long gone. This form only added a layer of complex and advanced illusion, one of his own making. Well, it was a couple of layers of complex and advanced illusion spells which would fight off dispels or pesky little people trying to peer through it.

"It is not magic." Kul said watching the lightning bolts flash, most likely something more.. Divine. The skies were not the domain of wizards and magic, they were the domain of something else, but before he could tell Nerry to control herself and calm down, she screamed and fled leaving him behind. "Children." Kul said shaking his head. "Come Krell, thanks to the rain people will be inside, let us go get somethings from the town while we have such time."

Nerwen
Nerwen sat by her window and looked out to see a giant fire. "Oh the gods are making this day entertaining." She opened her window and climbed onto the roof. She ran along the rooftops, jumping from roof to roof. She then dropped down, manipulating the air to stop her fall. She landed and ran to what she thought was a safe distance, it was 2 men fighting. The sense of norse magic from the giant made her left ear twitch and she could sense death and darkness from the other man.

Well, this was different. Kul watched in silence as the man from before fought a rather large brutish looking man... much like his Krell only with flesh. The other girl from before simply stared like before, would she flee? Would she interfere? This was not a fight someone should get involved with as a normal man would die in seconds cleaved in two by either of these men. It was none of his concern, but moving would attract attention, and he had no real desire to be dragged into their combat, so there he stood.

He sensed a flair of magic that came from a different direction, and so he turned his head spotting the same elf girl from before. He lifted the cane and used it to wave at her, not sure if she could see him or not, but he felt it was best, also if she was closer, he could be sure to protect her if things got rough. It would be a fair trade, ensuring she did not get hurt in return for the flowers.
