Introduction
All was well.
Or maybe that's just what they want you to think. Sure, Harry's scar had settled down, but it's odd, isn't it, that you never hear about Lily Luna Potter's fainting spell later on the day of the epilogue, right after the train pulled out, taking her brothers away, nor how she was in Saint Mungo's in the following monthes. And don't even get me started on her visions, the ones she never told anyone but her favorite cousin, Hugo Weasley, about.
It's five years after the epilogue, and Hogwarts has a new headmaster after Severus Snape's follower quits his post for a job in the Ministry. This new headmaster, Professor Emauntro DaVilese (dah-vy-lees) is odd, to say the very least. There is no record of him attending Hogwarts, though he continuously insists he was a Slytherin. What's more? He's a Parseltongue. And, little do the students know, he wears the very same ring the legendary Harry Potter dropped in the Forbidden Forest oh-so long ago.
And it gets stranger still...
On Halloween night, students start disappearing, one by one. The staff goes crazy trying to prevent it, and locate the source, but to no avail. Proffessor DaVilese seems just as worried, but is he really?
The next generation gang start realizing odd things about their new headmaster, and they reawaken the fabled Dumbledore's Army on the grounds each weekend to try to figure out what's up.
Lily's visions may have came true....
So, here's the deal:
Basically Lily Luna collapses in King's Cross shortly after the epilogue.
Hugo is the only witness to this.
She was in St. Mungo's for the next four monthes, as they couldn't identify what had happened to her.
None of their cures would work.
Then one day, she just woke up on her own.
Little did they know, what had happened was this:
When Harry Potter killed Voldemort so long ago, Voldemort was so distabilized by the Horcruxes he had made, that in his death a piece of his soul: so small, it barely makes a difference, it couldn't keep him alive, drifted away.
It drifted for miles, finally implanting itself on a young Muggle man of which no family still lived.
This man was, and is, Emauntro DaVilese.
The collaboration with the man's soul and the tiniest fraction of Voldemort's did not cause him to turn into Voldemort.
Indeed, he did not learn who Voldemort was until a while later.
But it infused him with the powers Voldemort had wielded, and he became the first, and only, Muggle to be turned into a wizard.
Not only such, but the piece of the Dark Lord's soul caused Emauntro to be fillled with inexplicable hatred.
He hated the fact that the body he lived within was once one of a Muggle.
So he cast a Dark spell (he had no need to learn, he already knew) that caused his soul to seperate from his body.
Prior to doing so, he had attained the body of a wizard (name unknown) who just so happened to wander up his path.
Emauntro took possession of this body, in a way bringing back the dead man, although the dead man's soul was no longer there.
Emauntro, in his new body, traveled to King's Cross.
When he layed eyes on Harry Potter the day of the epilogue, his was overcome with inexplicable hatred.
When he saw Lily Luna walk away from her father, he though she was heading to Hogwarts.
Now, Emauntro could still split his soul in a way.
He could both inhabit his own body, as well as that of another witch r wizard.
He did so to Lily Luna, passing into her body in a way she could not detect.
He let her remain in control of her body, listening in on a conversation between Lily and Hugo, in which he learned that she was not going to Hogwarts.
He jerked from her body a little too roughly: this is what brought her to her coma and caused her visions.
He had, in a way, distabilized her own soul, unknowingly of course.
Yes, Emauntro is behind the students disappearing, though that goes without saying.
He is forming a kind of child army, determined to silence Muggles forever and rule the wizarding world.
Yeah, cliche.
But he has a miniscule fragment of Voldemort within him.
What do you expect?
Now, onto the rules.
They're nothing out of the ordinary: you've heard them before.
The most unique part is the fact that you are permitted THREE charries if you so choose.
That doesn't mean you have to.
This is a "if you so choose" sort of thing, remember that.
Charrie sheets aren't hard, and there's no minimum word count, so it shouldn't be too hard to keep up with three.
Okay, here's the general rules:
- No god-modding, power-playing, or auto-hitting
- TRIPLING PERMITTED.
- Try to have three non-siblings.
- Everyone can control the Hogwarts staff.
- Be commited. No dropping out halfway through, or at the last minute before we start. You don't need to post everyday, just oce a week. Inform me if you can't post for a longer period of time.
- Drawn or real is okay. Just don't be weird and use the actor that played one of their parents for the kid, okay?
- Reservations for any amount of charries last one week once the thread is up. You have one charrie? One week. Two charries? One week. Three charries? One week. I mean, c'mon. My CS are not that in depth.
- Romance permitted. The partnership can exist before we start, or we can pick it up throughout the RP. Just no sex, okay? Wizards are better than that, we all know it.
- Violence permitted. As detailed and gory as you like. Just don't have your character go around killing random people for no reason. Be sensible.
- Swearing permitted.
- No fighting in OOC. If you have a problem with someone, PM me and I'll take care of it.
- Have fun!
As for the Hogwarts Staff list, you'll recognize some old favorites, like McGonagell, Flitwick, Trewlaney, Hagrid, Neville, and Luna. I kept the teachers that appear in the series in many cases, that way we don't have to relearn everyone. Also, this particular teachers, I feel, would remain with Hogwarts until their death.
Hogwarts Staff
Headmaster - Emauntro DaVilese
Transfiguration, Head of Gryffindor, & Deputy Headmistress - Minerva McGonagall
Charms & Head of Ravenclaw - Filius Flitwick
Potions & Head of Slytherin - Carmen Shrouce
Herbology - Neville Longbottom
DADA - Harold Jenkins
Care for Magical Creatures - Luna Lovegood
Divination & Head of Hufflepuff - Sybill Trelwney
Arithmancy - Ricardo Leonay
Muggle Studies - Wilma Repp
Ancient Runes - Lydia Hopkirk
Gamekeeper - Rubeus Hagrid
Caretaker - Alfred Wilkens
Now, for the charries, you'll recognize that these are all that of Jo Rowling's mentioning, with the exception for Emauntro.
If you'd like to create a wild card character, feel free, but know that you must have a creative wild card idea.
But only one wild card character per RPer, and if you have a wild card, you must also have at least one of the already mentioned.
However, keep it to a general minimal.
I don't want a dozen wild cards and almost none of the next generation characters.
You may claim your charries in this forum.
Once I have two participants, I will post the main thread.
We are not necesarily going to fill each slot, but these are the ones you can have.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 3 authors
She's in a room of white, the only one there, aside from a few animate blobs of color. The colors seem to correspond with the houses of Hogwarts, but the green of Slytherin is generally absent from the room. She ponders this inexplicable absense meekly. The room is lighted by some unknown source, as there are no furniture, windows, or doorways. A black shadow begins to appear on the opposite wall. It comes closer.... Closer... Even closer... And then it's in the room. It has the vague form of a person, with a fuzzt outline, although she cannot pick out features, gender, or age of the newcomer. The shadow merges with the colorful blob, and she feels an inexplicable sense of wrongness. But the shadow soon extracts itself, pulling along an especially small blue blob, which seems to fight. They walk into the wall, and are gone...
Lily Luna awoke with a start. Enough with these dreams! she screeches, inside her own head of course. If anyone knew... Well, they would think something was wrong. They wouldn't leave her alone. Dad would freak, Mum would pull him from the room to calm him, tell him that he's over reacting, to quit babying his only daughter. But who knew? Perhaps something was wrong. Perhaps she did need help. These dreams were not normal. They recurred for days, and then something would happen that seemed to fulfill the dream.
Lily had often wondered if she could be a Seer, despite the lack of the Inner Eye from her ancestors. Indeed, she had taken Divination this year for that very reason, despite her Aunt's warning about Trelawny. Lily wished meekly that she would have taken Aunt Hermione's advice. But it was too late now. No use crying over spilled potion, that was for sure, even if Trelawny was a big phony, even if Divination was a joke. It didn't help at all, it only made Lily hope she wasn't a Seer.
Climbing out of bed, Lily knelt over her trunk, extracting a scarlet Quidditch robe. She smiled down at it pleasurably. The first game of the year had come, and she couldn't wait. The thrill of the game was addicting, the joy of winning naseating in a pleasant way. She had played Chaser since second year, her first year of elgibility. Everyone had always said she was lucky both her parents were such excellent Quidditch players, that she was guranteed to be a skilled athlete. But Lily refused to believe that her gift had not come from hardwork and determination. She shaped who she was, she worked towards the goal, not her parents.
Slinging her Firebolt over her shoulder, Lily started downstairs, out of the common room. As usual before Quidditch games, the common room was filled with eager students, excited to get down onto the pitch. Lily's broom was a hand-me-down from her mother, from her years playing as a professional Chaser on the Holyhead Harpies. That was before Lily had been born, though she longed to have seen it. She looked up to her mother, even if she could be a daddy's girl when it suited her.
Lily slid onto a bench at the Gryffindor House table, helping herself to some scrambled eggs and bacon. she pushed her red ponytail out of her face, sipping from a glass of milk. Lily had never been one for juice, which confused her friends. But she just didn't like it. What else was there to say?
The Slytherin's were being poor sports as usual, jeering and booing from their table. Rolling her eyes, Lily stood on her seat and turned to face them. Gicing a mocking smile, she waved to them. Most laughed, but a few of the younger ones reddened and busied themselves with their food. Lily smirked to herself, but sat back down. McGonagell had beenglaring her way.
Aside from that, all of the studetnts would, surely, be down on the pitch this morning. They lived for the sport, and didn't hide it, didn't even try to, it seemed. DaVilese needed to pin his first target, and needed to inspect the students in order to do so. Who's disappearence would cause the least commotion? Who's exclusion would go practically unnoticed? It was hard to investigate during classes, even in mealtime, but Emauntro had a vague idea of what kind of student he wanted. Quiet, shy, practically friendless.
As he strode into the crowded Hall, he noticed a redhead girl perched on a seat, acting towards the Slytherins as though she were a show they were watching, and she knew it. DaVilese had long since crossed the girl off his list. She seeked attention, and the teachers loved her. Her disappearance would wreak havoc even without her famed parentage. Besides, from what he had heard about the girl's mother, she would burst into the school, cursing everyone in the way until she found her daughter.
DaVilese sat in the center of the High Table, McGonagell to his right. She was eyeing him hard, and he winced. He might be headmaster, but that woman was like a vulture. Flat out scary. "Whatever is it, Professor?" She pursued her lips, her response primp. "You didn't say anything to her." Emauntro furrowed his brow. "Who - You mean the Potter girl?" A stiff nod from the Transfiguration teacher. Emauntro shrugged. "She's not doing anything wrong, just being a child. We can't punish people for everything. They have the right to act their age." McGonagell sighed. "I suppose you're right. You understand the children, Emauntro. That's why you were the right person for the job." "Why, thank you, Minerva."
A poke in the shoulder. Lysander turned to the left to see his twin brother Lorcan eyeing him with a twinkling look. "You gonna eat?" Lysander shrugged, which earned him an elbow in the ribs. "Come on, Sander. Finish up." Lysander pushed his bowl away. "I'm just not hungry, Lor." Lorcan grinned, pulling his brother's bowl in front of him. "Why didn't you say so?" Lysander watched his brother down the cereal in a few seconds.
Lysander sighed. He and his brother were like night and day, even if they were twins and looked alike. He never ate much, Lorcan was always hungry. He was shy, Lorcan outgoing. He was shy, Lor extremely popular for a first year. All the same, he and his brother got along well enough. Sander supposed this was due to the opposite personalities. If one couldn't do something, the other could. Simple as that.
Her inner perfectionist appeased for now, Molly smiled. She couldn't have been more eager to tackle the school year, her sixth since coming to Hogwarts. With the promise of new classes, reunions with old friends, and the usual surprises accompanying any year here, she was certain - or at least hopeful - that this one wouldn't disappoint. So far, it hadn't, yet Molly couldn't shake the curious feeling that something mysterious and dark still lay in wait.
In the Dining Hall, Molly's eyes swept across the rows of tables, which were each laden with students clamoring about something or another. The Slytherins, forever arrogant, slouched in their seats as if the whole world lay beneath their fingertips, moving only to lob a croissant at a helpless First Year scurrying by. Molly frowned; someone ought to tell them a thing or two.
She spotted the twins, Lysander and Lorcan, two First Years whose parents had been friends with her uncle, Ron. Carefully, Molly weaved through the crowd and found an empty section of the bench across the table.
"Hey, guys!" she called, sitting down and helping herself to a slice of buttered toast. While Lysander appeared to more preoccupied with thinking than eating, Lorcan seemed to have no trouble downing an entire bowl of cereal. "What classes do you have next?"

Molly felt her face redden in a sudden flush of scarlet. She should have known it was Saturday. As her parents liked to joke, she had a habit of getting lost in her thoughts, and was sometimes playfully teased for being the dreamer of the family. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing -- except, of course, when someone was there to catch it. Sure, most everyone knew that Lorcan could have a bit of a mean streak, but it didn't help much in alleviating the sting of his words. She bit back a harsh reply, and turned instead to Lysander.
"Sorry about that. This week's gone by too fast!" she exclaimed, forcing what she hoped to be a genuine-sounding laugh. "Are you coming to see the Quidditch game? I'm thinking about stopping by sometime, but I might also pay a visit to Hogsmeade. I'd like to check out some books about Charms or Potions, and pay a visit to the Owl Emporium."
Realizing that she had started to ramble, Molly blushed. It seemed that she was just one big tangle of trouble this morning; perhaps it would be better to take a walk outside.
