“Geese are evil.”
Full Name: Ashlynn Allison
Nickname:
Age: 18
Male/Female: Female
Ethnicity/Race: Caucasian, family from South Africa
Orientation: Straight
“The wind used to understand me...”
Ornithophobia
Ashlynn has a fear of birds, especially geese. The sight of them causes her to have a nervous breakdown. Ashlynn will just fall to the ground and have to be physically carried away. She claims that they can talk to her and that they want her dead. Apparently, a girl named Kathy has ordered them to get rid of her.
“They’re out to get me!”
Personality
Ashlynn is quite shy. She seems to have a hard time socializing even on her best days. The thought of confrontation makes her nervous, so Ashlynn can be a pushover. Unless it will harm someone, including her, she will most likely do whatever a threatening person tells her. Ashlynn is startled by sudden movements and loud noises, and will start hyperventilating when surprised negatively. She is a social coward in that she almost never expresses her opinion. Ashlynn isn’t scared of skeletons or bugs, but disagreeing with someone in public is nearly impossible for her. An interesting thing to note is that she carries around a small vial of her own blood, apparently for luck. A word of caution is advised here: Never, under any circumstances, attempt to take it away from her. Ashlynn will go berserk and do whatever it takes to get it back. That includes, but is not limited to, scratching, biting, tackling, and slapping.

Geese, Sudden movements, Confrontations, Large crowds
Habits
As stated above, Ashlynn carries around a small vial of her own blood. She believes that the geese will have a harder time getting to her while it's on her neck. Ashlynn rubs this throughout the day.
Skills
It is unknown as to whether Ashlynn can actually understand geese or other birds, but she can communicate with the wind. When she’s off medication, she can talk to and control the wind. We keep her on pills that considerably tone down that ability. The only time the wind reacts to Ashlynn now is when she feels any intense emotion.
History:
”Good morning, Ashlynn. How has your day been so far?”
“Fine. What are you doing here?”
”I was wondering if we could discuss how you came to be here.”
“If you really want to know so badly. I was raised in South Africa in a small village. We were situated right next to a village so big it was almost considered a city. They were always fighting us, I don’t really know why, and our village faced demolition. My parents were the leaders, and they arranged an agreement with our opponents. It was an agreement of marriage. I was 16 at the time. I was going to be married to the son of our worst enemy. But I wasn’t nervous. They wouldn’t be able to harm me.”
”How come?”
“Before I left, my mom gave me her protection. She stabbed her finger with a pin and let several droplets of blood fall onto a handkerchief. As long as I kept this with me, nothing could go wrong.”
”So what happened?”
“I lost it. While kneeling down to get a drink from the river, the handkerchief fell out of my pocket and disappeared. That’s when everything took a turn for the worse. My maid, Kathy, forced me to switch places with her so she would marry the son. To be honest, this didn’t really bother me as much as it probably should have. I actually thought it was because she was concerned by the fact that my mother’s protection was gone. I was under the impression that I would just go home. But Kathy forced me to stay under her eyes. I was put in charge of tending the leader’s geese. They were pure evil. Every second of every day, they tried to get rid of me. The geese threatened me and convinced the other birds to join in on the torture-fest.”
”They... threatened you?”
“Yes. I can understand them, just like how the wind used to understand me. The wind was actually how I got away from the geese. A new boy named Conrad was put in charge with me. I thought we’d be friends, but I trusted him a little too early. One day he caught me playing with the wind, and he told everyone. That was when you guys showed up and put me here. Anything else you'd like to know?"
"Just one more question. It's about your necklace. I thought you lost your mother's blood.”
“I did. This is mine. It doesn't provide as much protection, which is how the birds keep finding me, but it's better than nothing. I'd be even safer if you'd let me talk to the wind again. Why'd you take that away from me? It wasn't hurting anyone."
"I think that's enough for today."
"Why did you do it, Doctor Monson? I miss the wind..."
Theme Song: Song of the Wind- Santana (So I kind of cheated. This is an instrumental, so no words. But I think it describes Ashlynn's relationship with the wind, if that makes sense!)
