Description

Ben is of German descent born Philadelphia but moved to Germany with his Army medic father. Ben is 37 years of age, stands about 6'3" and weighs in at around 192 lbs. He is highly toned with muscle and covered in tattoos giving the man a highly aggressiveness and menacing appearance despite his upbeat and loyal personality. He wears army fatigues and tactical kevlar vest more often than not with his favorite combat dagger strapped to his chest with of course a playing card duct taped to it. He does have a heavy German accent and has a habit of slipping into his native language when he gets excited.

Personality

Despite looking like some evil German hitman Ben is actually a true American patriot who loves his country. America took in his family generations ago and as such the men and women of his family have always been proud military members. That devotion to country is key in Ben's otherwise odd personality. He is friendly and loyal yet can be a fierce combatant and almost insanely reckless at times. He makes friends fast and knows how to keep them. Once your lucky enough to become a friend of this kraut you're a friend to the end and he'll back you up through the craziest shit. He does have a love for combat and more importantly high impact explosive encounters, referenced by his habit of shouting Blitzkrieg before rushing into combat like a madman.

Equipment

Ben carries a P416 and a Sig Sauer P226 as his trusty side arm strapped to his hip. Beyond that he has his big combat knife strapped to his chest for close encounters. Ben has access to a fairly large weapons cash in his under ground bunker that he discovered during his travels. The bunker is a 50's era nuclear fallout shelter that has been retrofitted by Austerlitz as his base of operations and home. He calls it The Vault.

History

He grew up in Germany yet enlisted in the American military having a great love for his country instilled in him by his patriotic father Johann. As a younger man Ben fought in the army going on two tours in Afghanistan and then another two in Iraq after completing Army Ranger training. Once the NDO began their hostile take over of his beloved country Ben went underground, looking for a way to fight back and return America to it's former glory. The night he took off he stowed away on an army cargo plane to get to his nephews base in Iraq. Once there he enlisted his nephew Bucky in the fight to save America and the two have been side by side ever since. He has become a revolutionary of sorts as well as a mercenary for hire, along side his nephew, working for any he sees can help them fight back at the NDO all the while blowing holes through infected who get between him and his dream of a free America. The two men are currently on the hunt for a faction who share their ideals of restoring the country while working to disrupt the NDO wherever they can.
