Shooting up to the blaring of her alarm clock, Ty groans. " God damnit, I was in the middle of a good dream." she rolls out of her bed. Walking to her closet she notices it was already getting dark out. Working the night shift sucked, Ty thought as she rummaged through her closet. After about ten minutes she decides on one of her more comfortable outfits. After showering swiftly, she gets dressed. 20 minutes later her hair and makeup are done and Ty runs out the door now running late.

Getting in to her 67' Impala Ty waists no time speeding off to work. After she parks in front of the roadhouse, she runs in saying to the bartender, who happened to be her uncle " I know, I know, I'm late." she walks behind the bar.

He smirks at her, " I was just going to say that your brother is going to have a fit over your clothes, but now that you remind me you are late."

Rolling her eyes Ty says " I'm sixteen, I can wear what I want." the men in her family always got on her nerves. Telling her that she's a girl and therefore good for nothing.

Her uncle was about to say something, but then the first wave of the evening crowd mulls in and he is distracted by someone ordering a drink.

Liam had decided to stop their travel for now. His legs ached from only having so much room to stretch out in and he was hungry. He stepped from the large silver truck with ease, flipping the file he held back into the cab to land on his seat, before closing the door behind him. He waved to Jacob before walking up to the roadhouse they were now parked in front of, his assistant staying out in the truck to play around with the GPS.

He ran a hand through his choppy black hair as the bell of the door dinged to alert people to his entrance, walking up to the long bar and taking a seat. " Could I have a glass of water?" The teen asked politely, " And some fries?" He didn't bother to order for Jacob, the older man wouldn't eat what was placed in front of him anyway. He was that picky.

His sharp blue eyes swept over the room, taking in the evening customers as the hour began to grow later. It was close to nine-thirty, he assumed as a glass of water and plate of greasy fries were placed in front of him. Liam barely muttered a quick 'thanks' before digging in.

Taking in the boy who had just ordered Ty smiled, he was quite good looking and seemed nice too. But like most people who came to the roadhouse he was just passing through. Sighing she put in the order, she hated that all of her brothers were off fighting the creatures of the night and because she was a girl had to stay home.

" Damn Indian traditions," she muttered wiping down the counter. When the dark haired guys order was done she grabbed it from the counter and put on a fake, but pleasant smile. " here you go." she says kindly.

Returning to her work Ty finds that she is having a hard time focusing. All she can think about is that dark haired guy, waiting until he was almost done with the fries she walks over. " can I take those from you?" she asks pleasantly.

The dark haired male gave a slight nod, " Sure," he replied. He pushed the near-emtpy plate a few inches away from himself, turning his head as he picked up his water and took a sip. Liam's blue eyes stared out the window at the truck where Jacob was now most likely nappy inside the dark cab.

" Thank you for the food," the teenager added as he reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet. He fished out a few bills and placed them on the counter, passing them to the girl when she returned from taking his plate away.

Setting his half-full glass of slowly warming water on the counter, Liam took a deep breath and stretched a little. Well, it was about time he went back to the truck and they left. He needed to start the case.

As the dark haired boy got ready to leave Ty sighed, " There goes another one." she shakes her head going back to her work. After a while her aunt walks out of the back room, and straight over to Ty. " Stacy can't make it in, you are going to have to wait tables tonight."

Turing to look her aunt in the eye Ty says " There is no way in hell that I'm doing that, for one thing my father. Your chief, said I'm not allowed to. And its the worst job here," she continues to hand out drinks and taking orders.

Ignoring Ty her aunt grabs her arm and shoves a note pad in her hands. " Go work, do something useful." Sighing she walks out and starts taking orders, the reason no one wanted to do this job is because the drunk men refused to keep their hands to their selves. In just the three minutes she had been working her rear had been already grabbed three times.

At one table there was a guy who had to be just 21, maybe younger. He wouldn't leave Ty alone. After smacking his hand away from her for the fourth time she says " What is your problem?"

" Aw, don't be like that. You know you like it." He slurs.

Liam was getting sick of listening to the many drunken men and found himself growing even more annoyed at their lack of class. He glanced at a young man, perhaps only a few years older than himself, who kept grabbing the girl who had waited on Liam. She was obviously frustrated as she smacked his hand away, probably not for the first time.

" What is your problem?"

Her voice rang out quite clearly, at least it did to the black haired teen at the bar. With a sigh he stood, his eyebrow raising as he heard the man's slurred response. " Aw, don't be like that. You know you like it." If she liked it she'd let him continue and not call him out, Liam thought as he pushed his glass closer to the center of the table. He'd been playing with it, practically watching the water warm as he had stayed quiet, until he had overheard the waitress and the customer.

In a matter of moments, and only three long strides, Liam found himself standing behind the drunken man.

" Have you not heard, it's bad manners to forcefully touch a woman?" He asked, his tone as cold as the blue eyes that stared down at the drunk. His hand found the man's shoulder and gripped it tightly, his hold growing tighter and tighter as he spoke. " Now, get lost. I'm sure they don't want your kind here."

By this time most of the restaurant was silent, everyone listening and watching the exchange.

It took every ounce of strength Liam had in his body to let go of his hold on the man, watching with a cool gaze as he stumbled from the building. As soon as he was gone the chatter resumed, the drama of the day over.

The girl smiled as she picked up the empty glasses on the table, placing them neatly into a bin. " Thank you... I'm sorry what's your name?" She asked.

" Liam," the dark haired male answered simply as he turned on the spot, pale blue eyes scanning the room with disinterest. " And you're welcome." Liam stepped away from the girl, not even bothering to ask her for her own name in return, to the cash register and paid for his food. The seventeen year old didn't have time to play name games and learn about her, he had a job to do and he was pretty sure he was running late. A pale hand reached into his jacket pocket and pulled a black phone from its depths. Pushing a button at the top, he glanced at the LCD screen for only a second before replacing the device in his pocket.

It really was late, he noted as Liam turned again and, without another glance backward, he walked out of the roadhouse. He had things to do.

" Hey!" Jake called as he noticed the younger male exit the building, " Ready to go?"

Liam gave a slight nod, continuing to walk closer until her reached the passenger door of the truck. His hand rested on the handle for only a second before he gave a tug and pulled himself up into the cab, leaving the door to hang open as he sat sideways on the seat. A pale hand brushed his hair from his face as he let out a sigh, " Be glad you were out here the whole time," Liam muttered. He still couldn't believe the man's disrespect, she was a girl for God's sake.

Jake quirked an eyebrow as he asked sarcastically, " A good evening then? I've had a few of--" He cut himself off as he caught sight of Liam. The seventeen year old had turned to face the blond, his dark hair half covering his face already and his bright blue eyes frightening in their glare. " Ah, I think it's about time we set off then." The assistant said nervously, " We only have another fifteen minute drive ahead of us to the place."

" Good," was all the pale male responded with, stretching his arm out to grip the handle of the door and pull it closed.

Ty watched Liam climb in to a truck and it pull out of the roadhouse parking lot. Following them she thinks over her plan. It was very simple, get there before him and take out the thing with the wheapons she bought and borrowed. Keeping a good distance behind the car she tries to relax, she had gone through the same training as her brothers. She could do this.

(( sorry bout the short post I'm on my phone.))

The arrived at the address, pulling into the driveway to park the truck a few feet from an old fountain. Liam got out of the truck, leaving the files in the glovebox. He had no more need for the papers as all the information was stored in his mind, they'd only borught them as a reference if they were needed.

They'd been told the large double doors would be unlocked and, after trying them, saw that this was correct as they stepped through the entrance. An enormous sweeping staircase was on the left while an open archway lead to the diningroom on the right. Directly ahead was a hall that, according to the files, lead to two bathrooms, an office, the kitchen and a personal library.

" I'll check upstairs, you get this floor." Liam's calm voice stated, wanting to get a good first glance of the place. He found five bedrooms, three more bathrooms, and a staircase leading up. This would be the attic, Liam assumed as his cautious gaze stared into the darkness before moving on.

He stood in front of the window at the end of the hall and looked out, not sensing anything out of the ordinary.

Yet.

But he did see a figure, the girl from before, sitting in a car. Odd, the dark haired male thought as he turned and decided to go out to meet her. After all, it was rude to keep a girl waiting, right?

Loading her pockets full of salt and silver Ty walks up to the old house she had followed Liam to. Calming her breath and reciting in her mind the Latin for an extortism she looks over the house. It was perfect for a haunting, old enough for there to have been many deaths in it. But liveable so that there could be many more.

When Liam walks out side and sees her she freezes for a second and then continues on to the house.

" Hey," Liam called loudly, raising an eyebrow as the girl made her way to the front doors. He stood on the steps, " What are you doing here?" His tone was disinterested as he looked over to the brunette, his arms crossed over his chest. He didn't exactly care, per se, but he was a little curious as to why she'd followed him here.

And he was quite aware that she had followed him.

" the better question is what are you hunting here? This city is cleared monthly." Ty replies her hands on her hips. She found it was easier to be blunt with hunters, playing games with them never got her anywhere. " you might as well tell me, because I'm going in there with or with out your help." she continues on the the front door of the house. She rally hope he would stop her, she needed a good fight to take the edge off her nerves.

Ty, about to give Liam a piece of her mind when he sprinted off in to the house. There must have been someone with him.. she thinks rushing in behind him. When she was about a room or two behind him she freezes, the room temperature had dropped drastically. " shit," she mumbled putting on hand in to her pocket. Pulling out a hand full of salt, she readies herself to throw it. " Liam, there is a ghost in here. And a really pissed one." she walks in to the room he was in.

" Is he ok?" She asks looking down on him and the assistant.

The man was laying on the floor with dark bruises already appearing all over his face, Liam couldn't tell about his arms but assumed they were in the same shape. He knelt to the ground and gently pressed his fingers to Jake's throat, feeling for a pulse. It was fluttering like a hummingbird's wings but the male felt slightly better knowing that his assistant was alive.

He shook his jet black hair out of his face as he studied the much larger man, knowing he wouldn't be able to carry him out alone.. Especially when Jake was in the condition he was currently in. Footsteps sounded behind him, fast and light, and Liam knew the girl had followed him in.

" Don't you have somewhere else to--" He shut up as he saw the pale clouds of heat, his own breath, that hadn't been there a moment ago. Now that he thought about it, the temperature had dropped and it was much cooler than it had been earlier. It seemed his job had found him this time, Liam thought. The irony just about drove him up the wall as he slowly stood and looked at Ty, nodding his head slowly in acknowledgement.

" He's out cold," Liam replied to her question, " I think he may have a concussion too." As he spoke his eyes shifted around the room and he saw it coming almost as soon as the clock on the shelf levitated and flung itself at the girl. " Get down!"

The teenager didn't think as he grabbed her hand and pulled her down beside him, positioning himself between her and the objects that were now being thrown at her. " Get out of here," Liam hissed at her as he shoved her toward the door, trying to make sure she kept down as she moved. Then he grabbed under Jake's shoulders and, with a grunt as something hit his back, pulled the man from the room as he ran backward. His only thoughts were getting the three of them out safely before he'd even consider coming back in without Jake.

After being shoved toward the door by the dark haired boy, Ty was on high alert. she scrambled to the door and held it open for them. " Liam hurry," she says as she noticed something forming out of what seemed to be dark smoke. It was forming directly behind Liam, without thinking Ty hurls the hand full of salt at it driving it away temporarily. She rushes forward ah putting one of Jake's arms over her shoulders helps Liam drag him to safety outside the house. Sitting on the ground Ty catches her breath. " So now what?" she asks looking up at Liam.

He barely glanced back, not wanting to see the mist behind him but his eyes seemingly drawn to look against his will. Ty threw something from her hand at it before coming and helping Liam drag the unconscious Jake out of the house. Once outside, Liam carefully set Jake down but dropped himself on the ground heavily as he attempted to catch his breath. He stared at the grass before shifting his eyes to the girl, feeling appreciative that she hadn't just run off and left the two guys there.

" Thanks," he said softly, " We haven't properly met yet; I'm Liam King." The dark haired male stretched out his arm, extending his hand to shake hers. " I'm a supernatural hunter, it's why I came. I was called here." Liam knew he didn't have to explain but he felt he owed it to the girl that had helped him.

Shaking Liam's hand Ty smiles " Ty Nightwalker, and I know. The men in my family have been doing your job for hundreds of years." she lays back on the grass catching her breath, " Its been one hell of a night, I'll say that much." after a few minutes of silence Ty says looking at him." Oh and you're welcome, but i really should be getting back to the roadhouse. I don't want my brother or father to show up and I'm not there, they would kill me." She stands up and walks a few paces away from him before turning back, " Don't go back in there tonight, please. Wait till tomorrow so that I can go with you, a little backup wouldn't hurt."

He nodded in understanding, now he knew why she'd seemed she half knew what she was doing. " Yes, it really has.." Liam agreed as he looked at Jake, already thinking ahead to how to get him in the truck that was only feet from them. He decided he'd strap the man in the back and drive somewhere to rest himself, he wasn't a bad driver after all. The girl had continued to speak but Liam had only been half listening, though he'd heard every word they just didn't sink in.

Ty stood and made as if to leave before turning and adding, " Don't go back in there tonight, please. Wait till tomorrow so that I can go with you, a little backup wouldn't hurt."

" I don't plan on it," Liam said as he stood and dusted himself off, pointing at his assistant. " I've got to get him somewhere he can sleep comfortably and it's about time I got some myself." He bent and hefted the man in his arms, half dragging and half carrying him to the cab of the truck. For having his hands full Liam managed to open the back door rather easily before maneuvering Jake in and belting him in. He felt bad but shook this off; he couldn't do much more.

" Meet me here tomorrow then," he muttered as he slammed the door closed and walked around to the drivers side, opening it to be relieved in finding his truck keys were still there. In the ignition, no less. He'd be speaking to Jake about other people's belongings when he was better but, for now, Liam hopped into the truck. Closing the door, he turned the keys and was happy to hear the low growl of the engine, as the truck started, before it faded into something quieter.

Ty knew she should just get in her car and drive away, but she couldn't. Liam and the man with him almost died because of her. She was having trouble brushing that off. Thinking as fast as she could she tried to think of a way to make it up to him. After a few seconds it dawned on her, she had enough first aide to help Liam's friend.
Quickly before Liam drove off Ty said loudly enough to be heard over the roar of the engine " I know of a safe place you can stay, and your friend could get some help." She steps closer to the truck " I'll show you how to get there if you want."
