The old man outstretched his hand. Openening his mouth he mumbled the words of the Buddha himself as he canceled Modikai's power. "Calm down. Take a deep breath. The boy brought this on himself. Things would have been different if he had waited for the ritual." He limped over to Kodaka now on the ground. "Karura has him now. He will awaken...... as a demon." The man turned to the angel, her wings outstretched. "Now this is an unexpected turn up. I didn't expect you to be here so soon."

Darkness, nothing but darkness. Kodaka felt a crushing, burning power pressing against his very being. He tried to call out, to reach for something, but it was no use. He felt himself slipping away. His very humanity. Suddenly, there was a blinding flash. Pain rocked his entire body and it was so intense that Kodaka could not even think. He felt his body being torn in two. Images of his life flashed before his eyes and he knew it wouldn't be long until he faded away. But then, he remembered. Modikai. Clenching his fists he cried out as he fought to clear his mind. "STOP!" The pain.... was gone. Kodaka opened his eyes and he was in a black space. A single blue flame lingered in the air in front of him. "Are you the one who summoned me so rudely?" The voice came from the flame. "What are you talking about?" "Well then, I guess I'll have to use you as my vessel if you like it or not!" Blue flames swirled around his body. "Wait! Stop!" "Oh, shut up. It'll be quick." The flames were not hot at all but they gave off a comforting warmness. Kodaka closed his eyes. The next thing he knew was that he was on the ground back in Yamamoto's house. Modiaki was standing over him, her back faced towards him. The girl from school had her wings outstretched and the old man was looking at him. There was one thing Kodaka noticed. It was that he was on fire. The blue flames flickered all around his body but he didn't feel a thing. "W-what the?"

Her eyes looked up at the demon girl. She knew she had to get out of there two demons and a demon posseded she did not have goo odds at the moment. She stepped back slightly. "why did you offer him that sword thats suicide for even demons to be messing with!! you have brought the world to its end your stupid old fool!!!"she looked at the man standing yards from her. "do you know what you have done"

"The world to it's end? This boy will be our salvation. It is his choice to use his powers for good or evil." Kodaka heard the words of the old man. What was he talking about? Getting to his feet Kodaka looked at himself. The blue flames were still manifesting out of his body and he gave off a blue aura. He felt something hit the back of his leg. Then again. Looking down he saw a long tail swinging back and forth behind him. The end was on fire with the blue flames. "W-what is this! I have a tail?" The old man looked at him and chuckled. "So your finally awake? I see, Karura already has embeded itself into you."

Modikai was dumbfounded. Her jaw dropped, revealing a gaping mouth. Shadows began covering her eyes, and a small creek of tears dripped down her face. "If I didn't get near you, you wouldn't have to be one of us. If I didn't know you..Kodaka, I'm sorry you were sucked into this shit! I'm sorry!" Her gaze shifted towards Yamamato, and she gave off an insane glare full of hate and spite. This was now when she noticed his...tail? "Good or evil.." she murmured, her lips twitching into a frown. Modikai grabbed his tail and examined it, her still, purple eye shifting back and fourth, then setting his tail gently down. "Full demon..." The girl said. Her tail popped out of her pitch black skirt, the eye under her eyepatch twitching. Swaying her tail in a hating passion towards Yamamoto, she rose up. "I wish I could kill someone right about now," she mumbled under her breath. Her gaze shifted to stare at Kodaka..for a long time.
"Welcome to the demons, where your hell is you." Modikai blurted, her voice monotone and seemingly emotionless. Her body showed difference: she was tense, her fingers flexing from a fist to her open palm. "Now, Yamamoto, if you do anything to him again, there will be consequences: and death. Probably mine," she growled cat-like, grabbing Kodaka and pulling him up to his feet, to just pull him towards her like some child hugging a teddy bear. "He's my only friend, anyways. I don't want to be lonely, so I suggest you don't lay a damn palm on the poor soul." Her short, black hair swayed in a gentle breeze as the door was cracked open slightly. Her bare legs had goosebumps on them, but not from the climate.

Kodaka returned Modikai's embrace. What would happen now? Kodaka let go of the girl and looked to the old man. "So what do I do now that you've turned me into a demon?" The old man took a string out of his pocket. It was a key. Very plain but Kodaka sensed that this was no ordinary key. "Protect this with your life. This key is what Satan is looking for. For now, you must protect it. Satan's son walks the earth posing as an angel so be wary. Trust no one." Kodaka took the key in his hand. He looked on the ground and Kurikara was still unsheathed on the floor, blue flames flickered all around it. He picked it up and sheathed the demon sword. Instantly the flames on his body died. He was the same old Kodaka but he still had his tail, his incisors were strangely sharper than before and his ears pointed upward a bit. "Well, it looks like I can't get rid of these." "And this is where I leave you." The old man turned and before Kodaka could say anything, then man disappeared in a poof of white smoke. "But how do I use my powers?! Where do I go!" A voice reverberated around him. "You will learn. Karura will teach you everything you need to know." The voice faded away. "Take care of that girl. You must protect her and she must protect you. Both of you will be the key to saving this world."

Modikai took a brief look at Kodaka, being smaller than him and having to look up to see his face. Up, down, up, down she looked. "This should be an interesting journey," she sighed, slapping her forehead with the palm of her hand. "Just..don't go to any stranger's house anymore. Think of 'stranger danger' they taught back in pre-school. Next thing you know, you'll be a freakin' magical unicorn sitting in the driveway." Modikai said, and chuckled to herself. The girl used her tail to pat Kodaka on the back. "Let's just hope we don't face the worst. Satan's son, that is. Otherwise, I think we're fine.." The girl just couldn't keep her lavender eye off of Kodaka. He looked...more epic than before. Before he was plain Kodaka, now he was DEMONIC Kodaka! He was one of her. She still couldn't believe it, and she could of sworn that the person before wasn't Kodaka. He looks different now, not the same person. Her lips twitched into a fraction of a faint smile. "He's kind of cute looking like a demon," she mumbled under her breath, hoping he didn't hear. Her gaze shifted, and saw the angel. She then frowned, pointing her index finger to the roof and blowing a hole into it to jump out and sit on the remains of the roof.

She took off running pulling her wings back in. She had to find that other angel. Weather he wanted to or not he was apart of this and he needed to know. She had shivers running down her spine, and she felt sick to her stumach with worry and terror.

Kodaka Kurenai

Kodaka watched as Modikai sprang up and landed on the roof. "Hmm... Can I do that?" Since he was a demon now, he felt a bit.... different. Like he could now do many things that were not possible for a human. Bracing himself he crouched down. With all his might he sprang up and Kodaka flew throught the hole in the roof like a bullet. The next thing he knew, was that he was now hundreds of feet in the air above the house. Looking down, his heart skipped a beat. "Crap!!! Too high!!" Kodaka began falling as fast as he came up. How could he stop himself? But he didn't have time to think about that because in an instant, he went crashing into the roof and hit th ground hard. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt as much as it should have. "Owww......" Kodaka groaned and sat up. There was a large imprint of his body on the ground. Kodaka got to his feet and dusted himself out. He would get used to these powers sooner or later.

Akira Shigemori

Akira, strolled down the city streets, his blood red gaze took in everything around him. Humans were so oblivious and stupid that it wasn't even funny. Posing as one humiliated him, but it had to be done. Since he was now in possesion of the fabled Divine Sword, Akira could now begin his mission. The destruction of earth. Akira let out a frustrated huff. If he had known the old fool had the key he would have killed him on the spot. But now that he was gone, Akira now had to go on a grand hunt for the key that would bring everything to an end. Lost in thought, Akira didn't notice the girl running down the sidewalk in his direction and he walked straight into her path, bumping her. "What the? Sorry. You should watch where your-" He stopped mid sentence and his lips turned up into a wide grin. He had found one.

"Just because I can do things, doesn't mean you can too. You have to get used to it." Modikai couldn't help but laugh and jump from the roof. The girl gazed up at him and patted his shoulders. "I can inflict pain and agony..I wonder what your power is. Look into your mind for a second, for me. I'm really eager to know what your pain power is," she said, and gently slapped him in the head jokingly. "I'm going to sit here. And stare at you to convince you to look in 'yer mind." The girl said, plopping herself down on the sidewalk and sitting like "The Thinker" statue.

She fall back losing her balance and landing on the the ground. She sat up and looked at the person in front of her and at the grin that appeared when he looked at her. She stood back up stepping back away from him her guard already up. She had a feeling in her git to take off and bolt for it. But some thing was holding her there stairing back at the guy that was stairing at her.

Kodaka Kurenai

"Look into my mind, huh?" Kodaka watched as the girl sat down and stared at him. He stared back into her purple eyes and he found himself getting lost in her gaze. He shook his head and focused. Closing his eyes he saw nothing but blackness. Look into my mind? Then, the darkness of his conciousness was suddenly illuminated by blue flames. Kodaka opened his eyes and looked down. His hand was burning blue. "Whoa." Stretching out his hand he relaxed. A blue ball of liquid fire burst from his hand and incinerated the wall infront of him, missing Modikai by centimeters. "Crap! Sorry!"

Akira Shigemori

Akira eyed the girl in front of him. She was no doubt an angel. Even though he also had the aura of a heavenly being, she was still a bit wary of him. Smart. Akira decided it would be fun to mess with this girl a bit. After all, he was the good guy right now, right? "Are you ok? Sorry about that. I didn't see you."

Her body stayed tense and she nodded trying to calm down what was with his aura it was angelic but something didnt feel right. A small birth mark on her upper color bone was visible it looked like a a sword and wings behind it but it was barely visible. "yes i am fine thank you for asking um who are you?" She looked him in the eyes trying to figure out what about him bugged her.

Modikai chuckled. "You've no need to apologize. I am satisfied that you did look into your mind, on the other hand." The girl walked up and grabbed his blue hand and into hers, and with her other hand she patted his gently. "You did well! It's just...you need to learn how to control it."

Kodaka Kurenai

Kodaka nodded. He would have to learn to control them soon, but what did he need to do? He looked at the hand Modikai touched. The key. What was it for? He would have to find that out later. Hanging the string around his neck, Kodaka noticed that his hand had returned to normal. They should go. Making his way to the door, Kodaka motioned to Modikai. "Hey, let's go home. It's getting kind of late."

Akira Shigemori

AKira's eyes widened. Her birth mark. It was barely visible but AKira knew that mark. The daughter of Micheal himself, huh? This was an extremely lucky catch. "I am Akira Shigemori." He took her hand and lightly kissed it. "And who might you be?

"Alright." Modikai said, grinning as she let go of his hand. "Also, I'm cooking tonight, so laze around the couch. I'm making miso soup and ootoro." She chuckled, and ran off towards his house.

She looked as he kissed her hand "my name is Anya Hart do i know you you look very familiar" she looked him up and down once in quick glance. He looked so familiar it was bugging her that she couldnt tell were he was from. "have i ever seen you before"

Kodaka Kurenai

"Hey wait up!" Kodaka was just about to run after her but something caught his eye. Back in the corner of the remains of the house was the cabinet where the old man pulled out Kurikara. Kodaka was surprised that it was still intact but that was not what caught his attention. At the bottom of the open cabinet was a strange box. It was very ornate and on the center of the lid was a cross. "What the hell is this?" Not really thinking, the boy picked it up. It was locked and pretty heavy but something told him that what was inside was important. Coming back out of the house, Kodaka headed after the devil girl.

Akira Shigemori

Akira tensed a bit. Doe she recognize me? He decided to ignore it. She could not have possible seen him before. "No, you probably have mistook me for someone else." Deciding to change the subject, he looked at the girl. "Are you on your way home? It's getting pretty late."

Modikai entered the house, keeping the door open so Kodaka can follow. The girl went to the kitchen, and immediately began cooking.

Kodaka arrived at the house. The door was open and he walked in, taking off his shoes. Why'd she leave the door open? The box was getting quite a hassle to carry so he made his way into the living room and set it down gently. The house smelled like cooking food, and Kodaka wondered if she was doing it right. Turning his attention back to the box, he noticed that it had a large padlock on it. Then he remembered. The key! Slipping the key from his neck, Kodaka aligned it to the key hole. It didn't fit. Kodaka sat back and scratched his head. So what did this key go to? Setting the key on the table, Kodaka looked for any other way to open the box. After a few minutes of tilting, prodding and prying, Kodaka finally gave up. "Geez. What now?" He looked at his hand. Wait. Doing what he did at the old man's house, Kodaka looked into his mind and focused. The familiar blue flames erupted from his hand once again. "Okay. Careful. I don't wanna blow up the house now. Maybe if I-" Kodaka's flaming blue hand gripped the lock. Realxing a bit, Kodaka closed his eyes and the flames grew. With a grunt, Kodaka wrenched his hand back and the lock broke off like it was made of fagile ice. "Got it!" The box sprang open the instant the lock came off and dust poofed out of the opening. Kodaka's eyes went wide as he saw what was inside. "Modikai..... I think you'll wanna see this!" Two, strange looking pistols sat there, crossing each other. The barrels were thin but long and they looked very heavy. The metal shined a dark white and redish stripes lined the weapons here and there. What ever they were, they looked like they could kill.

Modikai stopped cooking, pushing the bowl to the side. She dashed out into the living room, and stared at the guns. "They're so big.." she said, leaning down to get a closer look at the box. "Why did you take a box of guns? Planning to shoot me?" Modikai teased, smacking him in the head gently. "Kidding."

She shrugged it off and smiled "well um yes im an exchange student and the school never informed the person i was supposed to be staying with so i technically do not have a place to stay at this moment why do you ask?" She looked at him slightly confused but was a bit more relaxed then before. The wind started to blow and the sun was getting lower behind her almost illuminating.

Kodaka Kurenai

Kodaka raised an eyebrow at Modikai and chuckled. "I wouldn't do that. You have to finish cooking for me anyway." Looking back at the weapons, he picked on up. The gun was light but heavy enough that if you hit someone, they would be out cold. "So you know how to use these? I wonder if they're different from any ol' gun." Kodaka poked and prodded at the gun. "What? No ammo?" Sure enough, there was no sign of any ammunition. There was only a small slot where the top of the gun slid out towards him. There in the slot, was a small glowing cartridge that had some sort of strange writing on it. It glowed a soft red and Kodaka slid it back into place. This was not a regular weapon.

Akira Shigemori

Akira raised an eyebrow. This could get interesting. It wouldn't hurt to take her in. She didn't suspect anything anyway. Besides, the daughter of Michael himself would make a good capitve. "You have nowhere to stay? Why not come to my place? I wouldn't mind a guest."

She blinked in surprise. "are you sure i would not want to impose" she bit her lower lip slightly. It confused her that he would be so nice especially since he did not know her in any way other then bumping into her at the corner.

"Yeah. The old saying, get in the kitchen lady and make me a sandwich." She chuckled, walking back into the kitchen to cook. Something pulled her towards those guns, almost like a magnetic force. "Kodaka," she said, while mixing some ingredients. "Those guns feel very odd to me, though in a good way. I'm also experienced in wielding guns. It sucks it doesn't have ammo."

Kodaka Kurenai

"Yea..." Kodaka held the weapon in his hands. Putting his finger on the trigger he aimed it at one of the windows. Well it doesn't have any ammo so-. He pulled the trigger. There was a strange charging sound that came from the weapon. The barrel glowed a bright white and a blast of energy shot out of the weapon. The kickback surprised Kodaka and he had to stagger back a few steps. The window glass exploded and the window was completely obliterated. Kodaka sat there stunned. "What the?"

Akira Shigemori

"No, I insist." A pretty girl like you should be out on the streets at this time at night. My house isn't to far away." He wouldn't let her get away so easily. She would be a crucial part of his plan. If he could get her on his side, then the whole heavely host would likely follow. This was just too easy. You'll finally have Earth in no time Father.
