Ivan Kendall's Story

A long shiny black limo stopped in front of the campus, the driver went out and opened the passenger's door to reveal a blond haired boy wearing white shades and white clothing. Ivan smirked when he got out, his fan girls immediately surrounding him. Oh how he loved the attention, "Ladies please, I need to go inside the campus before I burn myself into crisp out here."

The girls followed his orders and lined up from the sidewalk to the entrance of the campus, Ivan walked in the center feeling like royalty. Then he felt his phone vibrate from his pocket, he picked it up and answered, "You're speaking to the great Ivan."

"Hey, it's Ashley." the caller said. Ashley is one of his many girlfriends that he has. Blonde hair, blue eyes, a nice rack, but most importantly she is the daughter of a famous fashion designer and actress.

A smile appeared on his face, "Hey, Ash! How's it going?"

There was a moment of silence, Ivan was going to ask why when, "Let's break up. I don't think we're going to work out, Ivan."

His eye twitched a bit and sighed, "Sure, I was going to break up with you soon anyway." he then disconnected with her and blocked out her number. Once he and a girl breaks up, he cuts all connection with her.

His eyes looked down in sadness but he did not frown. That's why he wears shades, so no one would see his true emotions, that he was actually in pain.

Shelby rolled out of bed around 5:30, which was typical on a week day. She lumbered into the bathroom and started her personal morning routine: took a shower, threw on some clothes, put on a little bit of eyeliner, and pulled her hair back into a messy bun. By the time she was finished it was only 6:00, so she decided to start making breakfast. First she made scrambled eggs, then a few chocolate chip pancakes, and then some toast. When she was finished with that it was around 7:00. Shelby made her way to her brother's rooms and sighed. Getting her brothers up for the day was no easy feat.

First she entered Nick's room (The youngest boy. Now 9) "Nick. It's time to get up. I made breakfast" she said softly but sternly. She pulled his curtains up and turned on his bedroom light. The boy rolled over and made a whining sound. "Nick, just get up. I know you hate getting up but everyone's gotta get out of bed sometime" the boy groaned again but didn't get out of bed. "Fine. I'll go wake up Evan, but when I come back you better be up and getting dressed" she commanded. She walked the short distance to Evan's room and pushed the door open (Evan is now 11). The routine was the same for him. Pull his curtains and turn on his lights. "Evan. Get up" she said loudly. The boy didn't stir. "EVAN! Get uuuuuuup" she said in a singsongy voice. The boy moved slightly and opened his eyes. "Can't we just skip school today" he groaned. "Do we ever skip school?" Shelby laughed. It wasn't as if she had let them skip school before. "I'll be back Evan. Get up and get dressed please" Then she walked back to Nick's room. He was still laying in his bed and she rolled her eyes. Very quietly she jumped onto his bed and started bouncing. His whole bed shook and she could tell it startled him, but that was her point. To startle him awake so he'd have no chance of falling back asleep. It worked. Nick got up and started getting dressed. "Come eat breakfast when you're done and i'll take you to school" she said with a smile. She was about to head back to Evan's room but she peeked into his doorway and found that he was already getting dressed so she wasn't going to disturb him.

They ate breakfast pretty quickly and piled into Shelby's car. Shelby dropped them off at their elementary school and got out to give both of them a hug. "Pick you up after school" she said. They nodded and headed into the building. When she arrived at her school there was a black limo outside it. She rolled her eyes but kept a smile on her face. 'Probably Ivan Kendall' she thought. Everyone knew Ivan and all the girls swooned over him....except Shelby. Shelby walked up to the school, pushed past all of the girls and walked in through the double doors.

Collin paced around the school. He shuddered seeing people breaking up and getting together for the hell of it. "Fake-Love" he growled lowly then looked around. He then saw one of the girls. He pulled out his scroll and checked it. There was her picture and the boy she was to be with along with the best result and the worst which was not too far away from the current status.

He then looked over at the boy she was to be with and gulped. He seemed to be an eccentric and he seemed confident on the outside but he was mortified at the moment. He knew what that was it was trying to hide your feelings. He decided that the best way to get someone to trust him was to know the deepest things about him. He waked over and patted him on the back. "Hey it's okay man you'll meet another girl don't worry." he said then took a small step back and held out his hand. "I'm Collin and you are Ivan, yes?" he asked a sweet smile on his face.

Ivan felt someone pat him on the back and his eye twitch, "No one touches me." he turned to look to who might have touched him and saw a black haired guy that he has never seen around the campus before and rolled his eyes, "No wonder a newbie."

"Hey it's okay man you'll meet another girl don't worry." this caught to surprise but there would be no way he'll show it in reality, "Who does he think he is anyway?"

He held out a hand and smiled, "I'm Collin and you are Ivan, yes?"

Ivan smirked, "Of course I am the awesome Ivan. Now listen here newbie," he then poked his chest, "No one and absolutely no one just touches me, apish?" he didn't wait for his answer though. He just left him there went towards his first class which happens to be English.

"Of course I'll find another girl, no girl can't resist the great Ivan."

Collin was appalled by the boy's reaction. "Of course I am the awesome Ivan. Now listen here newbie," he then poked his chest, "No one and absolutely no one just touches me, apish?"

He walked beside him catching up quickly. He read his thoughts and came up with a quick response. "You keep telling yourself that but do you really believe it?" he asked calmly walking beside the boy. "You aren't getting love from people you are just trying out different girls." He stopped infront of him and held out his hand. "Let's try this again. My name is Collin and you are?" he asked sincerly wondering if the boy would take it seriously this time.

Again his path was blocked off by the newbie, "You keep telling yourself that but do you really believe it?" Ivan raised his brow on this, "What is this kid talking about?"

"You aren't getting love from people you are just trying out different girls." then he held out his hand, "Let's try this again. My name is Collin and you are?"

He rolled his eyes on this, "Earlier he asked if I was Ivan and I replied with a yes and now he's asking who I am?" Ivan was going to reject this kid again when a thought appeared, "Maybe if I just shake his hand, he'll be gone..." he looked at his fan girls, who are not that far behind, and smirked.

Ivan shook his hand, "Kendall, Ivan Kendall." he then placed his shades on the kid which revealed his sapphire eyes, "Ivan Kendall's shades is on this kid!" he shouted towards his fan girls and immediately they ran for the shades. For Ivan, thanks for years for running away from some crazy fan girls, sprinted away from the newbie and to his English class.

Collin was surprised when he actually put his hand in his. "Kendall, Ivan Kendall." Collin shook and began to speak. "Now let's get...." he was interrupted by a pair of glasses put on his head and Ivan dashing away. The girls nearby dashed towards them by Collin had a few tricks. He snapped his fingers and the second the crowd came in he was gone.

He reappeared behind a corner and as Ivan ran by Collin grabbed his arm and pulled him over and put the glasses on Ivan's face. "You shouldn't just ditch people like that, maybe thats why you don't have a girlfriend." he said casually. "Now I can let you go now and you dash off to class only finding me later or we can talk now which do you prefer?" he asked his head tilted.

Ivan groaned when the newbie caught up him and gave him back his shades. He just snatched at from him and wore it again, "You shouldn't just ditch people like that, maybe thats why you don't have a girlfriend."

He chuckled at the thought, "It's not me who ditches, it's them."

"Now I can let you go now and you dash off to class only finding me later or we can talk now which do you prefer?" the kid asked his head tilted.

He sighed, "Fine whatever, you got ten minutes to talk, kid." he seriously doesn't want to do this, "But if I keep ditching him, then he'll just keep finding me which is very troublesome."

Suddenly he felt a vibration on his pocket, which is where is cellphone resided. He took it out and held out a hand signaling Collin to be quiet for a moment, "You're talking to the great Ivan." he said coolly.

"Hi darling!" this took Ivan to think for a moment; which of his current girlfriends calls him "darling", "Is it Emily? No she calls me 'love'. Um...ah yes!"

"Hey Brit. What's up?" he asked her, hoping it was the correct name.

She giggled from the other line, "Nothing, I just wanted to call my awesome boyfriend."

Oh, how this turned on Ivan's narcissistic self, "Hm...yes I am an awesome boyfriend, aren't I? Now being an awesome boyfriend I am, I'm going to guess why you really wanted to call me." he quieted down, pretending he's thinking, "Ah! You wanna go out later at your favorite bakery, hm?"

A laugh was heard from the other line, "Yes, darling. You are just too amazing. Oh, I gotta go, darling. See you later!"

A soft laughter escaped Ivan's lips, "See you later, love." he disconnected and looked at Collin with a serious expression, "Your ten minutes start now."

Ivan's eyes narrowed to Collin, "Look if you were hired by one of my fan girls to say that my true love is her, then forget it, kid." he said getting annoyed. He wasn't surprised when he said Emily and Brittany's name, there were some people who keeps track of who he's dating.

He looked at his pocket watch which also had the picture of his deceased mother, "You have seven minutes left. Make it good."

Sophia walked into her school and walked down the hall with her headphones in. She remebered everyone from last year and it was nice to see them again. She was wearing her blue skinny jeans and a white blouse. Her shoes were black flats and her hair fell to her shoulders. She kept walking and she saw Ivan picking on some new kid. It was typical for that to happen, but something was different with this guy. She liked him instantly and had to have him.

She wondered who is was and where he came from, but she knew that she was going to talk to him. She smiled and turned to her locker which was righ across from where they were talking. She took out her headphones and placed her ipod in her locker. She checked her pocket for her iphone and it was still there. She shut her locker and hung out around her locker.

Collin rolled his eyes. "I am not hired by anyone I assure you. But I do know you do not love the girl. " he looked at Ivan's watch and sighed. "Would she think highly of what you're doing now?" he asked. "Now I am here to help you but your arrogance is unbelievable. If you want my help find me later and I will help but for now I must calm down." he said then walked away calmly.

He made his way to the first class but stopped and looked at a girl who was staring at him. He walked over and smiled. "Um hello did you need something?" he asked in a cheery tone keeping a smile one his face. He was always taught to smile at any stranger unless they were enemies as to dignify peace and possibly love if used in the right way.

Ivan rolled his eyes on what this Collin kid was saying, "He just doesn't get it." he thought as he eyes looked down as past memories flashed in his mind. But he quickly shook them off, "No! Stop thinking like that! You're Ivan Kendall! Every girl's dream guy!"

"Now I am here to help you but your arrogance is unbelievable. If you want my help find me later and I will help but for now I must calm down." Collin said then walked away.

"Finally." he thought as he go to his English class. He went to his usual seat which was on the very back, by the window. His eyes turned boredly at a flirty girl, "I think her name is Sophie..." she continued to flirt with him but he ignored her. If it's one thing that Ivan doesn't do, it's dating someone from the campus. That's right, all his past and current girlfriends are from different schools and sometimes countries, "It's much easier that way anyway."

Shelby

Shelby put her sketchbook away and pulled out her english notebook. She saw Ivan come in out of the corner of her eye and had to restrain herself from rolling her eyes again. He was so egotistical and stuck up. 'I suppose I can't assume that since i've never actually tried to get to know him but he seems very full of himself.' she thought. She tuned Sophie and Ivan out and started writing down what was on the board.

"I want everyone to pull out their notebooks and copy down what I have on the board. I'm going to tell you right now, it's going to be critical on your next exam." Mr. Davenport announced. A few minutes after he asked the class to copy everything down, Shelby was done. She sat silently daydreaming about having her artwork in a gallery but Mr. Davenport's voice brought her out of her train of thought "Did you hear me Ms. Summers? Name three major characters in Othello." Shelby's eyes widened as her mind raced for a second. It was apparent that she wasn't paying attention but she knew the answer. "Othello, Iago, and Desdemona" she said with a sly smile on her face. The teacher looked a bit surprised that she knew the answer. "very well Ms. Summers. I just ask that you keep your mind here, and not wherever you went just now. It's your education" The idea almost made her laugh. She thought it was a bit ridiculous that he was lecturing her on her education when she clearly knew what she was talking about. "Yes sir" she said softly and smiled sincerely. She had no intention of being rude or disrespectful toward her teacher.

When Ivan walked into her class she didn't even notice. She was too busy thinking about Collin which was a first for her. When he found his seat she came back down to earth and turned to look at Ivan. She didn't even feel like flirting with him. She gave him a wave and then went back to thinking. 'This is killing me.' She ran her hands through her hair and then rested her head on her desk. 'Okay, Sophia. You need to stop doing this to yourself. Fix your make up instead' She picked her head back up and rummaged through her bag and tried to look for her make up bag. She found it and pulled out her usual tools. She had black eyeliner, brown eye shadow, and tinted pink blush.

She started to touch up her make up a bit. A bunch of her friends always say that she never needed make up since she was naturally beautiful, but she didn't listen. She loved to do it and she never went over board with it. The first time she put make up on she looked like a clown. Once the eyeliner was on she moved on to her eye shadow. She applied that gently not wanting to smear it. Finally the blush. She finished with that and then packed her stuff up. She pulled the lip gloss out of her pocket and put it on. She felt better after that. She reached for her backpack and she pulled out her phone.

Collin made it to his class and took a seat by himself. He knew that the boy who liked his best friend would be in the class but not the equivalent girl. He took out his scroll and looked it over. He sighed looking at it and saw the boy arrogant and intolerant. He didn't care about love in the slightest and knew what he had to do to get him to see that he was not in love.

He calmed himself and pulled out a small phone. He punched in a few numbers and got a picture of Ivan and each of the girls separate. He sent it to each of the other person's phone. Jealousy was one of the best ways to end love but he hated to do it but it had to be done. He closed the phone and put the scroll back in his pocket then looked forward as to act as if he was ready to learn.

BEEP!

Ivan sighed deeply, "That's the thirteenth time already," he then felt his phone vibrate and groaned, "What now?" he looked at the caller and saw it was Emily. He pressed the answer button and placed it on the side of his head, "Whatever you're going to say, fine, let's break up. I have enough of you girls anyway." then he disconnected with her.

He went towards one trash can and threw his white cellphone there, "Just in case they're gonna call back on me again." he placed his arms behind his head as he walked towards his locker, "Maybe I should have a break from women I mean I haven't been able to build that model I've been working on." he thought optimistically.

A smile appeared on his face, "Yeah! I mean I haven't held a gun for three months...I wonder if I could still shot?" he asked to himself as he opened his locker and got his stuff for Math, his most disliked subject there is.

Collin got out of his class with much relief. He went around and looked around for the boy again, and found him within a few minutes. "Hello again." he said with a smile of happiness. "Now would you listen to me now, they don't love you in the slightest now I can get you too your true love but you will need to trust me." he looked with an annoyed look. He knew that the boy was still saddened but he didn't want to give him much pity as to where he would learn his lesson. If he could get him and her together he would be one step closer to getting the arrows saved forever.

As Kyle left physics, he looked and saw the new guy immediately set out. Curious, he followed him, knowing he could afford to be a bit late to his next class. The teacher was always late anyhow. He tailed him, trying to get within earshot to pick up whatever he might say. He had a hunch he might be going to find Ivan Kendall again. After a few minutes, this hunch was confirmed. He listened carefully. "Hello again. Now would you listen to me now, they don't love you in the slightest! Now, I can get you to your true love, but you will need to trust me." His tone changed as he spoke from cordiality to bluntness. That didn't surprise Kyle so much as how much he seemed to know about Kendall. Apparently, this kid who had never been seen around here knew about Ivan's philandering habits, and wanted to...find his true love? Kyle suppressed a chuckle as strains of Fiddler on the Roof's "Matchmaker" ran through his head.

He glanced at Ivan, and could see the rich boy's irritation showing. Perhaps he could satisfy his own curiosity about this new arrival and save him from dealing with Ivan. He took a deep breath, steeled his mind to keep his stammer in check, and tapped the unknown boy on the shoulder. "I-I couldn't help but overhear what y-you were talking a-about. I-I think you're t-t-talking to a b-brick w-wall." He then turned to address Kendall. "H-h-hi, K-Kendall. I-I'm sorry to be j-j-jumping in like th-this." Focus, he told himself.

"Hello again." Ivan looked at Collin with a bored look "Now would you listen to me now, they don't love you in the slightest now I can get you too your true love but you will need to trust me." he rolled his eyes again, "Here he goes again."

Then some guy tapped Collin on the shoulder, "I-I couldn't help but overhear what y-you were talking a-about. I-I think you're t-t-talking to a b-brick w-wall." he said.

"Finally! Knock some sense into him!" he thought as the guy turned to him, "H-h-hi, K-Kendall. I-I'm sorry to be j-j-jumping in like th-this."

Ivan immediately raised his hands, "Oh no no. It's no problem at all. In fact, Collin here is a newbie so could you show him around and know what do to and not to do." he stressed out the last, conveying that no one should talk much to Ivan especially his love life. After that he left the guys there heading to his Math Class. Once he got there, he took his usual seat which was by the window at the very last row.
