Personality

Felipe is a easy going guy. Personally he believes himself unsatisfactory and is constantly putting himself down and doubting himself in effort to motivate himself to do better. Around others he's seen as a quiet, sarcastic jokester and a fun guy to be around, if you can handle his humor. As stated, he loves to joke around and is often being reprimanded for his unique sense of humor and the trouble it get him in.

Equipment

Changes/Powers/Abilities: Flip has gained a strange ability of spontaneous combustion. He himself has a strong resilience to the flames, but not a total immunity to the effects of his power. He can to a small degree cause things around him to spontaneously combust as well, though he has almost no control over that aspect of the ability. His core temperature s now much higher than physically possible, and this has some adverse side effects.

Pros: He is much more resistance to temperature related things. Plus his new ability has many offensive and defensive possibilities.

Cons:He isn't completely immune to his own power, and easily exhaust himself. His hair can smolder and eventually catch fire, and if his power is intense enough or durations for a length of time he is susceptible to severe burns.

History

Flip lives by the lake on lakeside property, complements of his grandparents and there eccentricity and kindness. He was given the small two bedroom stilt house as a gift for his recent 18th birthday, and with his own money paid for the vehicle to go with it. As a young adult he's always felt more at home in Downtown than Suburbia, having lived in Cottondale his whole life practically. He's recently just graduated from the one massive high school of the town, and has plans to attend the state collage a few hours drive south.

Unfortunately his parent, a single father, keeps him from these dreams. His father lives in a slum of an apartment in the middle of Downtown. Flip, often forsakes his own safety and comfort hanging at his fathers place most of the time, feeling responsible to the old man. His father is a drunk and is suffering from chronic lung respiratory problems from his bad smoking habit, and Flip is certain that he might do other vices of some kind, but still loves the guy. Never the less, Felipe misses his mother who was killed early in his life by a hereditary heart condition he might have himself, but would never verify out of fear. His late mothers parents pity the boy, and as a result baby him a bit. All in all he's an average kid really, fresh out of school at 18 and ready to take on the world.
