As one nears Vat and Friar Inn, the smell of various foods being cooked permeates the air. The Inn is tucked in a nook off the road, but still visible for all to see. The inn is a two story building of the log cabin variety, the tavern serving as the main gathering room of the place. One steps into the tavern when he or she enters the inn.

You see many tables and settings throughout the place, as well as several fireplaces along the walls. Each fireplace is manned by a monk cooking something scrumptious over each one.

Chep wanders into the inn, noting the plethora of smells and sights. He then looks around the taverns and finds a place to sit.
Friar John wandered over to Chep, "G'day sir, and how might you be this fine morn?" Frisr John rested his beefy hands on his ample abdomen. Friar John wore a large brown smock and had shaggy, unkempt curly brown hair, with bits of gray showing in odd places. Not enough to be really noticeable at a glance, but enough for someone that looks to notice. One could tell Friar John had a problem with his hair, in that one of the locks seemed to perpetually hang in is face.
Mialee Amakiir hesitantly walked into the inn, glancing around. Plenty of people, she noted, as well as the smells. She found herself an empty seat, still glancing around. More company than she had had in a while, even if there was no interaction. The sounds of conversation were enough.

Chep looks up to the big man, nervously rubbing his beard replies "Hello, Sir. This is a very fine place you have here. I seem to be a little lost, this whole town idea is a new one. How much is what ever that husky meat smell is?"
Friar John sat down near Chep. "Why sir," he said as he grabbed a fistful of food and started munching on it, "It's free, of course. Just take what you like, and leave what you don't. It's all good here." He finished with a slap to Chep's back and with a mouth full of food. He grinned a greasy grin.
