North of Veridian Village, and on the Veridian River are Veridian Falls. The Falls are on the Great Cliffs, funneling the massive Veridian River into a large and deep lake that then transforms the flow of Veridian River into a slow and deep channel that flows out into Draynor Bay. The Forest Surrounding this area is vibrant with life, the grass is lush and green, and many different species of plants are found near the Veridian Falls.

This area is fairly secluded, but while visiting the area you will still find many animals use this as a watering hole. Visiting The Veridian Falls brings you the perfect opportunity to get away from the village and be alone.

Draynor Forest Is located North East of Veridian. Here the forest starts on the east banks of the Veridian River, and ends on the Yulan Coast. This Small forest is more lush and full of life compared to the great Veridian Forest in the west. Here you will find small creeks that flow off of Veridian River and lead into marshlands, and further east the forest turns into sandy beaches on the Yulan coast and on the northern borders of Draynor Bay. North of Veridian Village, the Great Cliffs cut through Draynor Forest, this area is called North Draynor Forest. Here the Cliffs run north defining the coast of that area. Veridian River still will separate North Draynor Forest From North Veridian Forest.

Veridian River, or the Great River. The veridian river is the largest river in the surrounding area, and defines the majority of the borders and major areas. The Veridian river flows south from the Tempos Mountains, and creates the Veridian Falls on the Great Cliffs. Then flows directly to Veridian where it has been funneled by Dams created by the people of Veridian and has been routed through the Town by Aqua-ducts creating channels for easy trade within Veridian before being released into Draynor Bay at the port.

"The Great Forest" is what some of the older villagers will refer to Veridian Forest as, for it seems to be endless. Veridian Forest begins on the west bank of the Veridian River, and pushes west for hundreds of miles. The Veridian Forest holds the major trade route out of Veridian Village, and because of its massive size, it is known to have Bandit camps, Raiders, Thieves and Monsters and Creatures of all sorts. Many parts of Veridian Forest are actually unmapped because of the inhabitants of those unknown areas. Some caves have been discovered that still have little known about them.

North of Veridian Village, The Great Cliffs cut through Veridian Forest as well. And again this separated area is known as North Veridian Forest. Here is the beginning of the Tempos Mountain Range that fills the mass majority of North Veridian Forest and stretches north west creating the border for the icy tundra of the great northern expanse. In recent Years this area has been known to have an increased number of Orc, Ogre, Hobgoblin, and Goblin sightings, and travelers to this area are advised to use EXTREME caution.

raynor Bay is located in the East district of Veridian and is the only regulated port on the Yulan Coast. Here you will find all manner of shops and trade vendors selling exotic wares from other countries across the sea. Fish, sea food, herbs and spices are but a small fraction of the wares you can find here. Being a major trade hub also comes with a dark side, Draynor Bay is a known hangout for Thieves, Whores, Slavers and cut-throat Pirates. When shopping or just visiting Draynor Bay, you will be wise to tie an extra knot on your coin purse, unless you want to become a poor man quickly.

he Tempos Mountains are far North of Veridian, They can be seen from Veridian but are far off in the distance, a looming shadow of the wild world surrounding the peaceful town. Not much is known about the land past the Tempos mountains, some travelers have spoken of a vast tundra spanning for miles and miles, a never ending world of ice. Others speak of Yetti and Giants inhabiting the Moutains. To the adventurer the Tempos mountains are a world of danger and discovery, to others it is a place of death and sorrow... What will they be to you?

The Yulan Coast is North East of Veridian, it spans the entire coast of Draynor Forest until it is cut off by the Great Cliffs. Here you will find sandy beaches, drift wood and all manner of sea life. Because it is the border of Draynor there have been times where creatures will attack beach goers and sometimes intrude on Veridian its self. If you do decide to take a day off and see the Beach, be warned to not lower your guard, or have an armed escort provided by the Knights Guild.

Cobwebs lines corners of the area along dusty bottles and old shelves. Potions and ingredients lined the shelves, the inside of the shop not looking like someplace where you would grab an ingredient unless you knew exactly what you were doing. No, this was more of a place where you would ask the owner what you wanted and she would retrieve it for you. Not only in that but multiple books lined the shelves with a couple doors in the back of the room. One door led to upstairs where she mainly lived at and the other door led to her study. Where she would predict futures and perform spells out of watching eyes.

Witches weren't something that the people of Veridian appreciated nor really cared for. Sure, there was some people who treated them no different then anyone else. But it is always easier to pretend you are a normal person, so that's what she did. But Xenia was one who preferred to keep to her own places where she felt comfortable; nature and her home. If she traveled somewhere else it had to be absolute necessity.

Xenia's pale hand brushed a page to the other side of the book as she sat in a larger stool with her feet lazily propped up on the rungs. Business was pretty slow today, but that was fine with her in all honesty. She didn't need busy business to get a good day, just a relaxing day was all she really needed and desired. Sure it was lonely sometimes, but that's okay.

He put his hood up and started walking towards the town. People looking at him thought of him as an adventurer, but under his hood his eyes glowed red and a smile grew on his face. He would have loved to cause mayhem right now but he had to go get some healing potions in case he got attacked by a wolf again. Well, by a pack of wolves. His shoulder still hurt from the attack from last night.

As he opened the door of the apothecary he smelled the aroma and blew a big sigh of relief as he was finally in the apothecary and place of magical potions. He took off his hood and walked up to the owner of the shop, well the assistant. He came up to the girl and said, "Hey, you should be the assistant here. Can you tell me where I can find healing potions?, and put a spell book in it if you could. I need to learn new spells because of those stupid wolves..." growls at the thought and looks at her his eyes back to their original blue.

A bell rang to blow all her thoughts away as she looked to the side at the similar man that comes here many times before. Taking down his hood he started to look around the area once and immediately spoke what he desired. Rude as ever. Never once had he asked for her name here before and yet her magic is something that she would keep in her own private accord. Thus why would she even have spell books if she was trying to pass off as just a gypsy? She didn't even know his name either, and after multiple weeks she never bothered asking. Why should she put herself out there when he himself never did as well?

"Actually... I'm the owner." Xenia spoke up in a slightly insulted voice to get that idea clear out of his head.

Which was true, ever since the previous one went bed ridden, he passed this place down to her to manage and take care of it. She was under an apprenticeship under the old man before. But now that she learned his wares and he was no longer in the healthful condition to take care of it. She now takes ownership. So there was another strike.

"And we don't sell spell books. We're not a library. About your other request though, it's something I can manage. What is the potency you require?" She asked him, not even showing him yet where it was located. No, what she learned many times before is that she had to grab merchandise. It's what prevented theft in the future. Besides, if it's a potent potion, why would she have already made it and have it on a shelf? All of the weaker, less threatening things were up there already. Higher strength liquids was something she handled and made upfront.

He chuckled at the answer. "Quite insulted you seem. Sorry, if i ever did anything in the pass to offend you just tell me. I'm not quite used to talking to people and a beautiful human like you just unnerves me. I'm sorry to hear that the other owner is either dead or on his death bed. Quite a potions maker that one. Anyways, I don't really need anything quite strong. Just something to close up the wounds." He said chuckling. "About the book, I don't really mind I can use my good old books and find new spells by myself." He said cracking his neck and extending his hand. "Name's Max. Mind if I ask yours, pretty girl?" He said with a charming smile.

Ah, finally, a chance to relax, kick back and enjoy a day of no mishap. And that's exactly what Red was planning as he entered the nearest tavern into town. It wasn't that full, much to his dismay, so he'd be far more noticeable with the lack of people. Nevertheless, he strode in, and took a seat at the far end, and the darkest end, might I add, of the tavern. The barmaid was quick to present herself at his side, and with the given attention, he asked for a generous mug of ale. Leaning back in his chair, he kicked his legs up onto the table and crossed them at the ankles, making himself as comfortable as he would appear.

The only problem was, it was far too boring in an empty tavern. As much as he was planning to spend the day unharmed, and simply sloshed, it would seem, he wouldn't plan to stay in the tavern for too long. He did plan to fill himself up with ale, however, and stagger out to cause the unplanned ruckus just for the pleasure of disturbing the peace.

I din't sleep, I was up all night attending to his new Brothel. Today was the grand opening I've been planning for 2 months. The Inn that was for sale served me well. He had more than enough saved up from over the years and now it was redone. On the bottom floor there was a stage for performers, both music dance and scandal. A bar with a large selection of alcohol and a few food choices, people came here to have a good time and food should help. On the top floors were the bedrooms where his customers could get a bit more personal with either my employees or other customers. But this isn't an inn, only myself along with my employees can sleep here. For all I have is a thin red headed girl I'd saved from an orgre. Her names Amber but she doesnt talk much.
I opened the doors to my new brothel, freshy painted a soft lavender with red curtains on each window. I walked down the stone path admiring the green grass of the lawn. Then to my rose bushes that ran all along the manor, they were magical, a deep purple stem with red thorns and crimson pedals. They were a thing of demonic beauty. Their scent relaxes and "excites". Their a part of me. Finally reaching the tall black metal fence I opened the door for bussiness at 8 this morning. I don't need to sleep, so I'm not sure those doors will ever close.

The sun felt amazing against her skin as The Mermaid sailed along the seas. It was a nice high noon and the winds were the opportune moment to head to the nearest port to stock on supplies, unwind a crew, grab some cargo, and not worry so much in striking it rich. Besides, the pirates already finished up that part last time in Barbados. It's a pretty simple town to sack, pillage, and... well whatever some men wanted. Jazz wasn't one to take advantage women though... she was more into the men. Let's just say, her ship's course is straight without any turns, bends, or anything going off course. Yeah, that's pretty much how her ship sails.

As she sat against a railing watching the shoreline get closer, she smirked and got up from her spot. Jumping up onto the railing, she got on a ratline and started heading up the crow's nest. Of course some of her crew watched, their Captain being one of the few women they got to see as some type of interest. Her gloved hands steadily held onto the rope, her hat in her teeth as she finally reached the top and then plopped her hat on her head and flicked it up with her index and middle finger so she could see. "Oi, bloody horndogs... EH!" She called to the the small group of cabin boys below her. "That deck better be scrubbed ya' landlubbers or I'm gonna crack some skulls!" She threatened, a glare in her eye as of course, the newbies weren't taking her seriously once again.

Rolling her eyes and fully knowing that they would learn their lesson soon enough, she reached towards her pouch and pulled out a glass. Expanding it with a flick of her wrist,s he looked through the hole and spotted a magnified view of Veridian. It was a pretty place, and she was happy to be setting sail there.

This stranger was definitely quite the odd person. Stepping away from her stool, Xenia strolled over to him with her hood over her head and a ragged, haphaggered robe on her body. "Right." She spoke up while walking away from him, going to the shelves as she listened to him talk. Oh men. Always being the same in their nature. Pretty, beautiful, the list could go on. In no ways was the rogue witch a narcissist. However, compliments are words and are just as so. Actions however. Actions define who you are and what you do. A sorry is a lot more easier than fixing a problem. A compliment is a lot easier than performing an action to suffice for the compliment.

As Max continued on brushing off his mistakes, she bent over and scanned the dusty vials for the thing she was looking for. She was beginning to tune him out in all honesty. Yet when she found the rubbing-salve she was looking for, she turned around and immediately his hand was in her face.

"Name's Max. Mind if I ask yours pretty girl?"

A attempt at a smile was pulled off, trying to charm her into whatever alter motive he had in mind. Discounts? Bed? Free products? It wasn't going to work, and she wasn't easily charmed as a lot of girls in town. "My name is Xenia. And this-" She spoke up after a light touch of her fingertips against his, an unusual greeting lacking a handshake and a smile, "-this is a salve you use to rub on any wounds you have acquired. It will heal wounds up to a minute or an hour depending how deep or severe said wound is." Before giving it to him, she quickly withdrew it and held a finger up. "It will cost you twelve copper. The ingredients are easy to find thus the price is cheap, Max." She added in, trying to be at least customer friendly even though this man was hitting on her.

Balthazar

The wizened man hobbled down the street using his long staff to help support himself. His long white beard was nicely combed and flowed out over his royal blue robes with gold embroidery running along them. His long white hair was braided back out of his ancient face. The old man stopped letting out a low soft voice "Thomas, where is this forsaken store?"

The mentioned man looked up, he had thick glasses and was also dressed in a blue robe although of much lower quality. "We are almost there Archmage." He nervously said. It was his first time alone with the Archmage... and it was a daunting experience for the young mage. Almost as if sensing the younger mages discomfort the old Archmage patted the mage softly on the shoulder "Come now, I don't bite. I don't think my teeth could handle it anymore" He said with a soft smile. The mage visibly relaxed and the pair continued on the journey. Arriving at a small door, the mage walked forward to hold the door open for his senior who gracious nodded as he passed the mage. With a quick scan the old Archmage saw the girl was busy with another customer, so instead made himself content with walking around the store with his staff making a loud clacking sound every step as he examined all the potions.

Krell

The scared man was standing on the bow of the ship, his eyes glued on the horizon of what he knew would soon change to a city. The air was... nice or at least from here it was. On the sea, nice weather turned to deadly storms in a heartbeat... truly a temperamental lover. He turned his head at the familiar voice of his captain yelling something to the cabin boys. Perhaps to help put the new pirates in their place? Krell found the best way to do that was a nice solid smack and a steady glare. He fixed the small group with his one good eye. It irked him that they would dare ignore the captain.

He walked across the deck and without a word smacked a cabin boy hard in the back of the head earning a groan of pain and other startled cabin boys turning to face him. He fixed each one of them with his number 3 best intimidation glare and was rewarded with the paling of their faces. It was hard to take a stare from a man like him. He was very large, he had a missing eye, and his face looked like it had danced with swords for a living. "Did you hear the Cap'n?" He asked gruffly his voice sounding like gravel grinding together.

The cabin boys glanced at one another and the bravest of the bunch shook his head "No sir". He was lying... Krell was used to men lying to him especially on the ship. Gamblers, swindlers, and cutthroats where something that a pirate ship had in abundance. He leaned in closer to the boy who spoke causing him to step back a few. "I suggest opening your ears boy. If you dont hear the cap'n again; I will remove your eye." His voice was straight, his stare on intimidation number 4 and his hand resting on his blade. The boy and his friends, or perhaps goons? nodded before rushing off to clean the deck. The job of a First Mate never ended it seemed. He turned back and walked to the bow. The sight of the open sea spanning in front of a man was inspiring...

With the glass pulling away from her view, Jasmine smiled out there for a moment and closed it shut tightly with the other hand with a click. Immediately she heard some threatening from down below and she looked underneath her to see the hulking first-mate talking to the boys. Obviously scolding them about something of not listening to her. A smirk went towards the corner of her mouth. Even if she felt like she could handle herself or knew she could, Krell was there before she could step in. His undying loyalty was always nice to any Captain. In fact, any Captain would be lucky to have him. However, sometimes she wished he wouldn't step in too much. But why turn away a bad thing?

With a simple bending of her back, she quickly scurried along the lines until she hopped halfway down. Thunking onto the wooden floorboards next to Krell. Her hands started to adjust her hat, her lips partly opened in such a way that she was examining for something. As if reading his face to see what he wanted. Krell was always a mystery to her. An intriguing mystery. Yet even though she didn't fear Krell, she wasn't about to lead him off her as well and persuade him not to help her. No, that was something she definitely did not want to start.

"Mr. Krell." Her tone had little salt and was quite smooth. "So what do you plan on doing in this port town?" She asked him in all honesty. She wasn't sure what they were approaching, but it was fast coming soon enough. The idea she came along to was first heading to some local food areas and figuring it out for their shipments from there.

Krell didnt have to turn to know who it was. He would recognize his captains voice anywhere. He kept his stare onto the great blue horizon, although when he heard her question he had to fight down the urge to shift uncomfortably. He did not like when people asked about him... but it was his captain. His intimidation stares where not meant for her. He turned his head only slightly catching her with his eye.

"I will spend most of my time keeping the men out of trouble... than perhaps, if there is time, go and see if I know anyone here." His gravely voice responded evenly. He turned his head back to the great sea. "And you capt'n?" He asked. It was common courtesy, he was told. He knew most of the men would be spending their time in inns and brothels then, if they could stand, fight on the streets. He would work hard to keep them in line as always, but even his stares sometimes don't work on one who has been engulfing rum.

Staring at him a moment, she caught him make eye contact with her and knew he was engaged to what she was saying. "You don't have to keep an eye on the crew. I'm not, savvy." She reasoned with a smirk and then leaned against the post beside her, staring out at the water with him with one of her signature smirks. "Stock up. Food, supplies, drink. The usual. Mayhaps I'll get some more disguises." Disguises as in a dress. She wore them on certain occasions, when she was trying to get some undercover information or sneak into an enemy vessel. It was always something ill-advised yet she pulled through usually. Even in towns that shook a finger on pirates, she could easily dress up as a woman squeak by and get her usual things done. It was a handy thing to have under her belt.

Reaching for her metal flask on her hip, she quickly unscrewed it and took a swig. It kept her spirits high and her moods higher. It was hard work being on a ship with a bunch of men. She remembered once that she was sleeping a new recruit tried to rape her in her quarters. Krell saved her life.

He chuckled at her obvious reaction of not letting the excuses come to her and her needing the money first. He took out his money pouch, having one silver forgetting each pouch he has, and gave it to her. "Why would I steal a flask with the potion I only came here for because my arm started troubling me. If I was really a mage I could have healed it with a quick healing spell. But, I am no such stupid mages living on a code of conduct and for the one that just entered," he looked back as he said it to the old man and chuckled, "Well, I don't serve under an old man that could be replaced by any few recruits with a brain that is able to beat him." He said. Before she could give it to him, he used a spell to make the flask appear in his hand. "Thank you for your time Xenia, I look forward to meeting you again." He said and put the flask in his robes, put up his hood and left while making his dragon head staff appear in his hand. He starting walking like an old man leaning much of his weight on his staff and moving.

As soon as he was out he went to the market place and bought an apple. He smelled it and smiled. Nothing was more refreshing to him then a big red apple. He paid the clerk and turned around, then left. He wondered if he should scare a few people just to cause sweet mayhem. He smiled, snapped his fingers and a small plant caught on fire. A little girl, looking at the red rose and was startled by the flower burning up. "Look mommy, the pwetty flowah just caught on fire." She said. The mother looked at Max and knew he was a mage just by the look of his robes and the staff. He smiled, nodded to say hello and left.

"Oh? and what color disguises did you wish to acquire this time?" He asked. He never understood the female fractionation with the frilly and uncomfortable looking clothing, but than perhaps that was why he was a man. Personally, he thought storming the towns with swords drawn would be faster than waiting for her to do it all herself. Violence was, most of the time, the quickest answer and best answer. He purposely did not respond to her crew comment as he did not trust the men. They needed to have an eye kept on them.. all of them. He trusted himself and the captain.

He spotted smoke on the horizon. He squinted his eye to see better, but he would not be able to guess how far away they were. His depth perception was off due to his eye. It seems the city was getting closer. He reflexively tightened his grip on the side of the boat. He did not like large settlements. Reaching up with his free hand and gently rubbed his eye patch. It always itched when he didn't like the feel of something, and that city had more problems than he wished to face, but he would not tell the captain. He would follow her as he had did and keep the men in line. "Do you need me to watch your back capt'n?" Krell asked. Even if she said no, he would be sure to keep tabs on her.

Watching Max pull out the coin was tedious, only receiving the currency and holding on to it with a clenched fist. "Yet you still come here everyday." She spoke up to him with a raised brow, then turned her head to the bell ringing to new visitors. Her head cocked to the side, the man's face seeming familiar on her part as Max insulted him. Code of conduct? It only meant one thing, that these men were from the Circle. Turning back to Max, she then raised a brow at his answer.

"Well, I don't serve under an old man that could be replaced by any few recruits with a brain that is able to beat him."

Ignorance. It usually ended a lot of people. Even while she grew up she was fully aware what it did to others.

Being cocky, he made the bottle appear in his hand and didn't use any magic of her own in return. She was trying to keep her mana on the down-low, not brag about it. "Thank you for your time Xenia, I look forward to meeting you again."

A nod came towards the woman in acknowledgement towards the arrogant mage as he pretended to leave disguised as he left. Now her attentions turned to the older wizard that came into her shop. Walking towards him with her usual walk, she had the usual calm-tempermence she held with everyone and cocked her head to the side as he looked among her shelves. "Hello sir, may I help you at all?" She asked him while crossing her arms and her eyes stared at the man with mutual respect, herself not even aware who this man was exactly.

Jazz smirked over at him, "I dunno. Whatever I feel is necessary, mate." She reasoned with a shrug and sighed a little. She sometimes liked to wear them in privacy to remind herself she was a woman also. Even though many years have passed, she was the Duke's daughter and not many were aware of her past. Thrown into something in high style she could get away with it. It wasn't that hard to begin with. Yet she was rambling in her mind again, thinking about things she shouldn't really have to worry about.

"Do you need me to watch your back cap'n?"

"Oh no you don't Krell. You're handsome enough savvy that'd I rather watch your back instead." She joked, randomly flirting with him like she sometimes did. Turning away from him as he grew nervous about their destination, she started up the steps. "Grimes~ prepare for shore! Finn! Get men to stations. Prepare for dock. Lower sails! OI! Ya blimey dogs don't fuck it up!" She yelled, all sweetness gone from her voice as she walked along the area and trying to keep an eye on everyone as she headed to face the docks a short distance away.

The young mage had stepped forward numerous times to deal with the renegade mage, but Balthasar held his old hand up to stop him every time. He chose to ignore the youth. If he smacked the hand of every impertinent youth; he would never get any sleep, so instead he smiled and nodded back. Shame, the boy's magic was so rough. Perhaps if he had proper training he would not have to satisfy himself with harming things of beauty and innocence. He gently shook his head trying to get ride of his instant instructor mode. "Please Mathew, go fix that dear flower. I would hate to see it die, so that a young man can satiate his ego." The young mage nodded and left the store, kneeling next to the burning flower. He waved his hand and the fire dissipated, and than with a few words the red rose gently mended itself and even stood back up.

The old Archmage nodded, smiling back to the girl. "Hello M'lady. I am Balthasar Gelt. Its a pleasure to meet you. I need some ingredients... rather special ingredients."

He looked around at the dieing flower and saw a man healing it. He had sensed something strange going on but he didn't know that it was magic. He knew the man from a half a minute ago, he was with the archmage. He grinned and put up his hand. As soon as the hand was up energy crackled around him. "Stop that now." He said and released a bolt of lightning at the glass-wearing boy. He made it on purpose to miss him and it hit a wall of a building close by. "Or else next time I won't do on purpose to hit you." He said and took a bit from his apple. He looked at the boy that would maybe be soon his enemy.

Balthasar

Mathew glanced up at the scorched spot on the wall. He seemed to stare intently at the mark seared into the wall and than shrugged going back to work. In truth he had to control his laughter. This man didn't seem to have much... refinement in his skills. He was only a first year at the Guild, and he had seen new recruits with more ability. The lightning bolt power was laughable, its power was overdrawn, and the man seemed to lack basic concepts of magic. He was probably some fool who taught himself from a book. It was almost sad, the poor man probably abused most common people with his weak magic. Well, the Archmage told him to fix the flower, so he lowered his head and kept working.

Balthasar turned his head slightly and smiled. He was busy, and he doubted the boy would be able to match Mathew.

Krell

"You're handsome enough savvy that'd I rather watch your back instead." He stood blinking. It wasn't the first time that she has spoke such things, but he never knew quite how to respond. She was probably just teasing him as women do. He watched as the city grew closer... and closer. Krell turned away from the sight, feeling slightly sick. It calmed his stomach to see the men work under the captains orders with the great, free sea. The men seemed to be eager go into the city, no doubt happy to see women once again. Sure, the captain was a women as well, but she was the captain. Many pirates made a move on her, and many more learned their place, and if they didn't, he was sure to put them down.

He watched the boat slide into the dock, and one of the crew throw a line down to tie her down. Krell also slid down the rope, his previous sickness forgotten in the face of duty. He pulled on the tied rope ensuring it was prefect. "Capt'n! Shes tied down all right!" He called up to the ship.

He chuckled. "Well, your not easily tricked. Not like those pathetic fools that live here." He said. "You will stop that." He grabbed his staff and made the dragon-head end face Mathew. "You'll meet your end here. I was getting bored of killing wolves, your real practice." He said and the unanimated dragon head soon opened it's mouth. Ice emplification, check. He thought. In a soft whisper he said, "Dragon blizzard." A wave of ice shards came from the mouth of the dragon. Even before his first attack was done he was already reaching down in his thoughts to another spell. One that would stop his opponent from dodging. He conjured some of the water in the air around the boy and made it condense and freeze. "Ice prison." he said as the spell started to reach out for the boy. He was looking again in his thoughts but before he unleashed his next spell he would see if any of the two attacks hit.

Mathew sighed turning to stand. Elemental magic was so primitive, but it would be a waste to use arcane magic on this one, so he brought his hands together engulfing himself in flames. The fire turned the water to steam almost instantly, and once the ice hit the flame wall it melted to water than, once again, to steam in quick secession. It was all child's play. He had been dueling mages since he first entered the Guild. He turned his hands and join the steam together molding them around his hands before firing it at the other wizard in a large stream of superheated water and air.

With the stream going, he lifted his hand bring out large chunks of sharp rocks from the ground and flinging his wrist the rocks entered the steam flying at the other mage. The stream would completely block out the sight of the rocks making them invisible as they rushed through the heated steam.

He grinned. "Oh, getting this on now are we?" He said. He started spinning his staff and a gush of wind made the stream go back the other way. When he saw the rock he imediatly slammed the butt-end of his staff in the ground making an earth wall. He then shot little pieces of arcane energy in the air and they all went at the hostile wizard. The rock crashed into the rock wall and when it was done he made a move like kicking at the rock wall and launched it towards the wizard as well. He then made rotating movements with his hands and a tornado was produced and he instantly mixed it with fire.3 Attacks, how is he possibly going to counter them all?He asked himself.

Trying to cover up his weak quality with quantity? A foolish notion. He raised both his hands and began muttering. The ground started, was that pulsing? His eyes flashed blue and his hands trembling. "Azyr! ba.." Before he could finish the magic from the area... vanished. Almost as if it was sucked away. Mathews eyes widened and his spell was stopped, and all of the weak mages spells stopped.

Mathew whirled "Archmage?! Why did you stop it!?" Anger at being cheated in his voice. He was going to end the little mage. Break everything inside his body for he dared to blacken the name of magic with this foolish violence. He stopped when he recognized the look in the Archmages eyes. The look of the calm storm, of the hidden rage. His own anger left him in moments "Arch..mage?"

Balthasar shook his head "What is the first rule of the Guild?" Mathew paused "Magic is not meant for senseless violence.." Balthasar nodded at each word. It sounded like Mathew memorized it straight from the guide itself. "You were going to kill him... Go back to the guild." Mathew tried to struggle for something to say, but the fight in him left. Nodding he turned and walked back up the street not sparing a glance at the second rate mage.

Balthasar turned back to the alchemist women "Children... they never learn."
