Image

ImageName: Elizabeth Mabel Clements-Decker
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Species: Human
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 190lbs
Hair colour: Dark brown
Eye colour: Grey
Skin colour: Fair
Trade/Job: Knight/Sailor

Appearance:
Standing at five feet and five inches in height, Elizabeth is a curvy, muscular woman weighing roughly 190 lbs. Elizabeth has fair skin an a constant smattering of freckles across her cheeks. Her hair is dark brown with highlights from the sun. It is silky straight and comes down to approximately the middle of her back. She usually keeps her hair in boxer braids because she spends a great deal of time training or fighting, and this keeps her hair from getting in the way and allows it to fit nicely beneath helmets and armour. She has a low browline, narrow grey eyes, a relatively undefined nose, and full lips. Elizabeth has an anchor tattoo on the front of her thigh, a sword tattoo behind her right ear, and a large tiger tattoo covering her upper left arm. She has a series of numerals tattooed across her upper chest, just below her collarbone, and has never told anybody what the meaning of these numerals is.

Personality:
The strong, silent type, Elizabeth is an observer first and foremost. She is perceptive and likes to keep an eye on her surroundings at all times, even when she's not in a combat situation. Elizabeth doesn't usually have much to say, but she is one for joking around when she feels comfortable doing so. She is slow to warm up to people, usually being wary of them even when there's no need to be, even after they've proven themselves. When she does warm up to someone, though, she is fiercely loyal - almost to a fault - and protective of them. Elizabeth isn't the best in social situations, and is hot-headed, angering quickly. She tends to get mad first before actually attempting to resolve a matter, and when she's angry, she absolutely has the mouth of a sailor, stringing together all the most colourful words and phrases she can. In fighting, Elizabeth is brash and aggressive. She will take advantage of every opportunity presented to her and likes to overpower her opponents by sheer volume of attacks.

History/Bio:
Elizabeth was born to a single mother who was only seventeen when she had her. Her mother worked as a servant in a noble house, but she left her job and fled after discovering that she had become pregnant by the noble house's middle son, who was five years her senior and more than a little out of her league. She took a job as a bookkeeper in a shipyard for the duration of her pregnancy, helping to keep an organized ledger of ships, goods, and people who came in and out of the shipyard. She took some time off when she had Elizabeth and feared she would be unable to return after being gone for two years, but the shipyard's owner took pity on her and welcomed her back to her job, even going so far as to have his teenage daughter come and look after Elizabeth while her mother was working.Image

As a result, Elizabeth grew up around ships and she became fascinated with them. The sailors who would come in and out of the shipyard were quite taken with the bold little girl, and they were happy to teach her all about the ships while they were docked and her mother was helping to take inventory. She learned quickly, and when she was nine, she told her mother that she wanted to be a sailor. What Elizabeth didn't know at the time was that her mother had become romantically involved with a ship's captain who frequented their shipyard, so the next time he stopped there, her mother asked if he would be willing to take Elizabeth out sailing. He agreed, and Elizabeth took to it like a natural. She started to sail with him frequently when he was docked at the shipyard, and when he got a new ship he even named it The Elizabeth after her.

Elizabeth was fourteen when her mother and the captain got married, and when she was fifteen she asked her new stepfather if she could join him out on the seas. He told her that he would love to take her to work with him as she would make an excellent sailor, but that he wanted her to learn to fight first because pirates were a huge issue out on the open waters. Elizabeth was more than eager to learn, so her mother and stepfather found a place in the city where Elizabeth could learn to fight and, as with sailing, she took to it like a natural. Her teachers were fascinated with how quickly she learned and how well she was doing, and she was deemed ready to go out sailing with her stepfather before her seventeenth birthday came around. She joined her stepfather's crew and was well-loved and respected aboard her namesake ship. She got her anchor tattoo when she was eighteen and sailing with her stepfather.

ImageWhen Elizabeth was nineteen, she and her crew were in port a good ways from home when a couple of men attempted to attack her. She fought them off with ease, drawing the attention of some local guards who'd been passing by and were about to intervene before seeing that Elizabeth had the situation under control. The guards informed Elizabeth that the royal family of that kingdom was looking for new knights and soldiers, and that she should consider joining the royal legion. Elizabeth was quite interested in such an offer, fairly certain that she'd do well in a job like that, so she decided to go for it. It took three years of formal training before Elizabeth was made a knight, and she was one of the youngest female knights in the legion. Her superiors were fascinated with her fighting skill and started using her as a test for new recruits. Elizabeth loved the looks on the faces of the boastful, swaggering young men when they realized they'd just been bested by a woman.

She stayed with the legion for six years, helping to keep the city and the royal family safe and helping to train new recruits. Whenever she had time off, she would use it to sail home and either go sailing with her stepfather or visit with her mother. Her mother wanted grandchildren, but Elizabeth was never ready for romance or a family. She loved her life, she loved her job, and she wasn't interested in getting married or making babies any time soon. One day when Elizabeth came to visit home, she found her mother reading the news and crying. When Elizabeth asked what was wrong, her mother had her sit down and she told her that her biological father had died. Elizabeth had asked about her father when she was a child, but her mother had always been evasive and dismissive about it, always steering the conversation in some other direction to avoid answering. Now, though, her mother told her everything: her biological father was a nobleman whose house her mother had worked in when she was young. She'd had a brief tryst with him when she was a teenager and had become pregnant with Elizabeth, so she'd left. She'd heard nothing of him until that day when she'd seen in the news that Lord Clements, his wife, and one of his two daughters, along with many of their friends and family, had died in a tragic fire at their youngest daughter's birthday party.

Elizabeth realized that if Lord Clements was her father, that meant that the surviving daughter was her half-sister. Realizing that this girl, whose name was Priscilla Clements, was probably lost and alone in the world without any surviving family to speak of, Elizabeth decided that she needed to go find her half-sister and be there for her. She headed home to the kingdom she'd been serving in and she informed them that she needed to take some extended time off due to a family emergency. They were more than willing to give her all the time she needed, saying to come back when she was ready and able and that she would resume her duties as normal. They gave her some parting gifts and wished her luck dealing with her family issues, and then she set out to track down her half-sister.

So begins...

Elizabeth blinked when the girl asked if she'd eaten all that fruit in one day and she shook her head. "No, not all in one day. I did think about it, though," she joked with a small smile. Priscilla nodded when the girl asked if she had a boyfriend. "Yes, I have a boyfriend. So, the strawberries or kiwi? Hmm," she said, eyeing the fruits the girl had named. Would James like kiwi and strawberries? Who didn't like strawberries? She pondered the strawberries while the girl turned back to Elizabeth and asked if she'd tried the lychees. Elizabeth nodded. "Yes, actually, I did. They were delicious," she replied softly. Her smile couldn't help but to get a bit bigger at seeing how big the girl's smile was. It was almost infectious.

Talila giggled, "oh good, this is our first harvest with them." She said and looked at the girl and smiled, "how we throw in a couple kiwis for free? So that way no money wasted... if that is what you are trying to figure out." She said softly. Her eyes glanced up at Elizabeth and she smiled a bit more. Her eyes moved down to her freckles once more before her lips and she looked away. Her lips looked juicy like fruit. She needed to stop. It was so unprofessional.

Priscilla glanced up when the girl offered to throw in the kiwis for free, and she blinked slightly, smiling and shaking her head. "Oh, no, money's not an issue," she said. "I'm just considering whether my boyfriend will like strawberries. Everyone likes strawberries, though, so he must...right?" she asked with a giggle. Elizabeth quirked an eyebrow slightly, looking at her. The difference between their upbringings was glaring to her, with Priscilla completely unconcerned with money and costs while Elizabeth, despite making plenty of money from her job, was constantly watching her money and trying to spend wisely. "I'm sure James likes strawberries and kiwis, Priscilla," she said softly. "And even if he doesn't, I'm certain he'll appreciate that you wanted to get him something sweet," she added, and Priscilla giggled a bit, nodding. "That's true," she agreed with a nod. "I guess I'm getting strawberries and kiwis, then...and I simply must get some of the peaches, they look divine," she said. Elizabeth smiled a bit, looking at the elven girl. "Could we get a couple bags?" she asked softly. It was on the way to the restaurant that she'd decided to take Priscilla to the market with her, or she'd have brought along the fruit bag from last time to reuse.

Talila smiled and got them two bags, she handed them out to each girl and smiled, "Well I will throw the kiwi in for free since I said I would. Your boyfriend is lucky to have such a thoughtful lady." She said softly and looked back. "Would you like to get your someone something too? I can throw it in for free." She smiled. Her brother messed up his singing, trying to keep key and not laugh.

Priscilla and Elizabeth took the bags from the girl, and Priscilla couldn't help but to smile when she said she'd throw the kiwi in for free. "Are you sure? I'd rather not be taking money from your family's pockets. I can afford a few kiwis, it's really no problem," she said. The girl certainly was sweet, though she couldn't help but to smirk a bit when she asked Elizabeth if she wanted something for her someone. Elizabeth blinked in surprise, her cheeks going a bit pink. "Oh, I don't have a someone," she said with a shake of her head, blushing as she looked down at the apples and put a few of them into her bag. Priscilla giggled a bit, starting to get some fruit for herself.

Talila nodded, "it will be fine." She smiled and then blushed when Lychee said she didn't have anyone. "Oh I'm sorry... I just assumed. I am so sorry. You just looked like someone who had someone. You are just so pretty and strong... have great taste in fruit. Who wouldn't want to be with you?" She said and her brother lost it. Laughing mid song before getting up. "I gotta get some air." He laughed and she blushed harder.

Elizabeth noticed the blush that came to the girl's cheeks when she told her that she didn't have someone. "It's fine," she said gently, smiling. She blushed a bit when the girl said how pretty and strong she was and questioned who wouldn't want to be with her, glancing briefly over at the girl's brother when he broke out laughing and had to excuse himself before looking back at the girl. "You'd be surprised how many men are intimidated by strong women," she said with a bit of a shrug. Priscilla smirked a bit. "What about girls, Elizabeth?" she asked, and Elizabeth blinked slightly. "Girls are harder to find," she said plainly. "The ones I like always seem to like men. Such a shame," she said, shaking her head a bit and grabbing a pair of pears for her bag before beginning to get some more of the lychee fruits the girl had given to her last time.

Talila frowned a bit, "Well their loss I guess." She said and smiled. Her father eyed his daughter and smiled a bit. He had never seen his daughter like this, yes she was upbeat and sweet but she would have never assumed if someone had a partner. Her brother had taught her that line to see if someone had someone. It was really funny to actually see her try it. Talila had called off many suitors when they found out how much of a hippy she was. They wanted a girl that was prim and proper or someone who was wild and sexual. Talila was Talila and nobody wanted that. When Lychee grabbed more lychees she giggled. She was glad she named her Lychee. Her brother came back and saw that the woman was still there. "Hey... Talila are you still doing the orchard tour?" He asked. Talila nodded excitedly, "Of course! Why?" She asked. "Ahh was just making sure... just in case someone asked. I think I heard a few people talking about a tour, but I wasn't sure if it was for the orchard." He said.

Elizabeth smiled a bit when the girl said that it was their loss, not saying anything as she picked out some more fruit. Priscilla did the same, and she glanced up when she heard the brother talking about an orchard tour. "Orchard tour?" she asked him curiously. Elizabeth glanced up as well. Their tree fruits definitely grew in an orchard, and if the little elven girl was doing the tour, perhaps it was a tour of their farm. She eyed Priscilla slightly, and her sister gave her the smallest of smirks before looking back at the brother to see what he'd say.

Elsar nodded, "Oh yeah, Talila gives tours of the orchard. We have so many trees that people love to go and look at them or take pictures and since Talila loves trees so much she is the best to explain it without sounds like some bore." He said and stared at his father who gave him a look before shaking his head. Talila blushed a bit and went help another customer that came along. She loved her family's trees and the trees in the forest and the trees on the lake islands. They were so tall and gorgeous. It was like they were reaching up to touch the sky. As a kid, she always wondered if the trees loved the sun and the sun loved the trees.

Priscilla nodded a bit as the girl's brother explained it. Elizabeth listened as well. Talila. That was a pretty name - perhaps Cherry was just a nickname, then? When he finished and Talila had gone to help another customer, Priscilla looked over at Elizabeth with a grin. "We should go see their orchard! Doesn't that sound lovely?" she asked, and Elizabeth blinked. She knew exactly what Priscilla was doing, since it was glaringly obvious. It wouldn't work, but she couldn't help but to appreciate her sister's enthusiasm, so she nodded. "It does sound lovely," she agreed, and Priscilla grinned, looking at the young man again. "When and where do these tours meet?" she asked.

Elsar looked at Priscilla, knowing what she was doing and thankful for the help, he looked back at Elizabeth. "Monday through Wednesday. We start tours from eight in the morning to nine, twelve to one, and three to four." He said and smiled. When Talila was done with the customer she walked back over to her brother and smiled at the two girls. "It is a lovely tour. The trees are nice and real pretty since they still have fruit in them. At the end of the tour each tourist gets a cute basket that they use to pick whatever fruit from whatever tree and the tours are at a good price too!" She said softly.

Priscilla nodded as the brother explained to her when the tours were, looking over at Elizabeth. "Looks like I won't be able to come along since I've got work all day those days, but you should totally go!" she said. Elizabeth glanced at her, and then looked at Talila when she said what a lovely tour it was. She'd been about to say no when Priscilla said she couldn't come along, but the little elven girl's enthusiasm was too endearing and it did sound like a lovely tour. "Maybe I will," she said with a smile. "Where's the meeting point for it?"

Talila saw the look in her eyes, how she kind of seemed like she wanted to say no, but then she said she might. She hurried in the back of the table and got a little brochure that had a map, "The little dot right here..." She said and gently point it to her. "Is where the meetings start." She smiled. "It usually only takes about an hour. Not super long." She said softly. "So maybe after you can brag to your... uhmm her." She said and pointed to Priscilla. "And tell her how fun it was and how she missed out." She giggled

Elizabeth gently took the brochure from Talila and took a look at the map, nodding as the girl told her where the tour would start. She smiled a bit when the elf told her that she could brag to Priscilla about how fun it was and how she'd missed it, and she looked over at Priscilla. "Hear that, Priscilla? I get to brag about how fun it was and how you missed it," she said, and Priscilla giggled a bit. "And I get to brag to you about what a great day I had at work," she said, and Elizabeth smirked a bit. "They're not the same thing at all, kid," she said before turning towards Talila, gently holding out her bag of fruit. "I'll take these, please," she said softly.

Talila blinked when she called Priscilla a kid. Priscilla looked to be around her age. How old could this woman possibly be? Of course she wouldn't ask her her age or anything. When the woman held out the bag she took it and hurried off to get it weighed and priced. She told her the price while handing the bag back to her. "Thank you for shopping with us." She giggled. "It was really nice seeing you again."

Elizabeth patiently waited while Talila went to weigh the bag. When she told her the price and handed the bag back, Elizabeth nodded and took it back, pulling out her money. She frowned a bit as she counted it out, though, realizing that she was a bit short. Priscilla glanced over, quickly realizing what was up, and then pulled out some of her own money, sticking it in Elizabeth's hand. Elizabeth blinked in surprise. "Priscilla, I can't take your money," she said, and Priscilla gave a dismissive wave of her hand. "It's your money too, Elizabeth," she replied. Elizabeth blinked slightly. Priscilla had a point. She nodded a bit and then handed the money over to Talila.

Priscilla waited while Elizabeth paid for her fruits, and when the elven girl turned to her and asked if she was ready, she nodded. "Yes!" she said, holding out her bag for the girl to weigh. "Everything looks just wonderful. I bet it's going to be great," she said enthusiastically, and Elizabeth quietly nodded in agreement.

Talila smiled and took her order before weighing it and then handing it back with the price. "I really hope you like eating it as much as you like looking at it." She giggled and glanced at the other woman before giggling, "I hope to see you on one of the tours." She said softly.
