Name: Sariandi Arakalyn | Age: 18 | Gender: Female | Species: Elf | Sexuality: Gay | Height: 5'8" | Weight: 125lbs
Hair colour: Dark brown | Eye colour: Blue | Skin colour: Fair | Trade/Job: Washerwoman

Appearance:
Sariandi is tall but has a petite, slender build. She is slender despite the fact that her job requires a great deal of lifting and carrying and she has quite fair skin despite the fact that she spends a great deal of time outside. Her features are dainty and delicate, and she has lidded blue eyes with thick lashes. Her hair comes down to her shoulders and is dark brown, almost black in colour, with a slight wave to it. She typically dresses in black, wearing dresses that are comfortable but elegant. She has a circlet that was left to her by her great-grandmother, and she wears it almost constantly, believing it to have arcane abilities that will protect her. She has a back tattoo, a stomach tattoo, a thigh tattoo, and a foot tattoo. She has a few self-inflicted scars on her wrists that she keeps hidden beneath long sleeves or cuff-style bracelets.

Personality:
Sariandi is quite quiet, though she isn't shy and can hold conversation quite well if she wishes. From a young age, Sariandi was fascinated with the occult and the things that lurked in the dark. She has always been somewhat rebellious and would often sneak out at night and look for monsters. She has some sadistic tendencies that she has yet to really explore, and she tends to be quite selfish and spiteful at times. She cares for few people, generally concerning herself only with her immediate family, though she does tend to be quite protective over them. She has no interest in romance or relationships, though she has her suspicions that this is only because the tribe forbids same-sex relations and she finds herself attracted to women.

History/Bio:
Sariandi grew up her entire life in her elven tribe. They weren't a terribly nomadic tribe, settled within one forest and generally staying in that area. She had three siblings - a brother named Rothomir and two sisters named Maeradyth and Tenestrae. As a child, Sariandi was fascinated with the occult. She would sneak out in the night against the wishes of her parents in order to look for monsters. Though her family tried to sway her away from it, her interest in evil and dark forces only grew with age. As she grew older and gained more freedom, Sariandi started to try to perform forbidden magic or dark rituals, though she was rarely successful in doing so. Sariandi has a vast collection of books on dark creatures such as demons, werewolves, vampires, and witches.
Image
Her parents were disturbed by Sariandi's interest in these dark topics, and took her to see the tribe's elders in the hopes that they'd have a solution. The elders declared that keeping Sariandi occupied was the only way to keep her from meddling with forces beyond her control, so they gave her a job as a washerwoman, forcing her to be responsible for the clothes, blankets, and bedding of the entire tribe; her only help was the middle-aged woman already working as a washerwoman, though she was developing arthritis and struggling to keep up with the demands of the tribe. It was a nonstop job and Sariandi hated it, but she found it to be quite mindless and would often let her thoughts wander.

Sariandi was a teenager when her oldest sister, Tenestrae, was killed. She'd been out in the woods with her betrothed when they were attacked by some elves from a rival tribe. Tenestrae was found dead the next day, while her lover was nowhere to be found. A trip to the tribe of their rivals revealed that a scout had seen the whole fight and Tenestrae's man was taken by a human who had come along, interfered in the fight, and killed all the elves including Tenestrae. Sariandi and her family were devastated to lose Tenestrae.

Now that she is eighteen, Sariandi's parents are hoping to marry her off, but her troubled past made it hard to find a suitor for her. There is one man who's rather interested, though he has a reputation in the tribe for being somewhat harsh and her parents are hesitant to make the arrangements for fear that he'll hurt their daughter. In the meantime, Sariandi is being sent on a mission into a human settlement with her cousin, Quilodor, to seek out a man called Yalathanil - a human who used to live among their tribe as one of their own, and Tenestrae's missing betrothed - whom they believe to have been taken by some of the humans.

So begins...

Quilodor raised an eyebrow when Valery questioned whether she should hire him as a bodyguard and he shrugged. "You look out for my cousin and I'll look out for your friend," he told her with a smile before looking at Quinn. "You should listen to Valery," he added. "If she says no going out alone, then don't do it."

Quinn huffed, "fine... but know I can kick ass." She said and turned, "let's go... I have a feeling my brothers are destroying things they shouldn't." She sighed and waved at the girls. Valery waved back and looked Sariandi, "shall we finish our kissing session?" She joked.

"So you gonna stay till this dumb killer is caught?" She asked Quil as they walked. He was a cool guy. Her parents would like him.

Quilodor chuckled when Quinn insisted that she could kick ass, nodding when she said her brothers were probably destroying things. Was that not the concern of her parents...? He figured it best not to ask. He left with her and nodded when she asked if he was going to stay. "I suppose I should or Valery may not forgive me for leaving you unattended," he chuckled.

Sariandi blushed when Valery spoke. She shrugged. "I...wouldn't complain," she admitted, her face going red.

Quinn nodded, "sweet... then my father will probably either snag you or hang with us... unless my mom grabs a hold of him. They walked back to her place and all three of her brothers were running out the house half naked screaming freedom and her father chasing after then till he saw his little girl with a man. "Quinn, sweetheart... who is this?" He asked.

"Daddy, this is Quil my assigned bodyguard by Valery. Apparently there is a serial killer." She said. Her daddy huffed, "let me find someone trying to hurt my children or wife..." he said but smiled, "Well thank you protecting my little girl." He said.

"Daddy... he is gonna be staying in the small house." She said. He looked at Quil, "as long as my daughter is in her own room. Now if you two will excuse me, I have three kids to find." He sighed and ran off. "That's my daddy." She giggled.

Valery smirked and took her hand and dragged her to the sofa after locking up and cupped her face gently before kissing her softly.

Quilodor laughed a little when Quinn said that her father would probably snag him or hang out with them. "I don't mind. I'm fairly confident that I can handle a father," he joked. He raised an eyebrow when he saw her little brothers running wildly about and smiled as her father came their way. He was quiet while she spoke with her father, smiling a little when he said that his daughter being in her own room was the most important thing. "I assure you, sir, you need not worry about that with me," he said politely. When he left, Quilodor turned back to Quinn. "He seems nice," he said.

Sariandi let Valery drag her back to the sofa, her cheeks red. When Valery cupped her face and kissed her again, Sariandi slid her arms tentatively around the blonde's neck, kissing her back nervously.

Quinn shrugged and smiled, "he is ight... I'll keep him." She giggled and showed him to the small house just a minute or so away. She walked in with him. They had a small kitchen, bath, and bedroom area. "Here you go. It is a pretty comfy place. I stay here when my brothers are too much." She said softly. "So far I can say I like you, Quil. I had a fun little adventure. Plus my daddy seems to like you... which means you seem like a good giy." She said softly.

Valery smirked against the elf's lips. The girl was too adorable. She broke the kiss a bit to run her thumb over her lower lip. "Such a pleasant little kisser." She smirked and teased. "Should I stop or would my little witch like more?" She asked softly.

Quilodor laughed a little at her comment that she'd keep her father and he followed her into the small house. It really wasn't far from the main house, which would be nice if he wanted to spend more time with her. He felt a rather unusual fluttering in his chest at this part - did he want to spend more time with her? He was fairly certain that yes, yes he did. He smiled to himself at this thought. "It looks like a good place," he agreed when she said it was comfy. He wasn't accustomed to being cooped up indoors, so he'd probably only use it for eating, sleeping, and using the washroom, but it would be more than comfortable for those things. When she said she'd had a fun adventure with him, he smiled kindly over at her. "I've enjoyed spending this time with you as well," he said politely. He took her hand gently and brought it to his lips, placing a soft kiss on it before looking up at her. "We're going to have to make good on that hunting trip," he added.

Sariandi blushed as Valery ran her thumb over her lip, smiling nervously. "I'm...glad it's pleasant. Considering I've never done it before," she said in a soft voice. When Valery asked whether or not she should stop, Sariandi was fairly certain her face went red right up to the tips of her ears. "I...wouldn't be opposed to more," she said tentatively, and then leaned in to kiss Valery again.

Quinn smiled and then watched as he kissed her hand and a small blush appeared. She had no idea what to do about that so she thanked him and giggled a bit, "Oh yes... we are deff gonna go hunting. I can't pass up a chance to hunt with an elf." She said and looked around. "Uhh did you eat yet?" She asked softly.

Valery giggled a bit and smirked when the elf started this kiss this time. She kissed her back, making sure to take her time and teach a her little tricks here and there. When she felt her body crave more she stoped, a bit breathlessly. "Mmm we should stop... before I do something stupid... and I already did that yesterday." She smiled softly.

Quilodor was amused by the blush on her cheeks. Apparently she didn't garner much male attention, which seemed odd for as lovely a girl as she - and an archer and a huntress, no less; a woman like her would have been long since married in the tribe. When she asked if he'd eaten yet, he shook his head. "No. I ate before I set out for the city but haven't since then," he replied.

Sariandi was enjoying kissing Valery. She liked everything the blonde did, and she definitely felt like she was learning from it. When Valery said they should stop before she did anything stupid, she raised an eyebrow sightly. "What kind of stupid thing...would you do?" she asked slowly, a tad confused.

Quinn giggled a bit, "Well come on my mom makes a killer deer chili." She said and walked him into her own house and fixed him some still hot chili since her mom had yet put the food and handed it to him with corn bread. "There you go... my mom could feed a darn village." She said and shook her head, making her curls bounce. She fixed herself some and sat down at the table.

Valery smirked, "the kind that would have my hands traveling... which would lead to rubbing your ears and then you... won't get to use yourself for the blood thing." She said softly.

Quilodor smiled when she told him what was for dinner and he followed her into her home. He took the food, chuckling a little at her comment that her mother could feed a village. "In the tribe, we basically do," he remarked, sitting down at the table with her. He took a few bites, smiling afterwards. "This is delicious," he said.

Sariandi's face went bright red when Valery answered and she opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out, so she closed it again. It took her a moment to respond. "I...oh," she stammered. "I mean...that would be a bit fast, wouldn't it...? I only just got my first kiss from you, so obviously I haven't... done anything like that before..." Her face was scarlet and she was stumbling a little over her words.

Quinn laughed a bit, "well if your tribe is ever in need of food, you know on lady who can cool a lot." She said and smiled proudly as if she was the one who had cooked it. "Mmm it is... she wanted to be a famous chef but then she met my farmer daddy and well the rest is history." She said softly and giggled. "My mother had no experience in farming or what a farmer's wife was about. My daddy was just that good I guess." She said and smiled up at him. In the background three almost naked boys ran in screaming and straight to the bathroom. Her mom could be heard laughing in the bathroom as she ready her kids. Quinn glanced that way, smiling.

Valery laughed a bit and shook her head, "that is why I stopped... but I mean..." She said and squished her face. "I have liked you for a very long time. So I can wait." She smiled and rubbed her face like she used to when they were younger. "Ugh your chubby baby cheeks were so damn cute... ugh but they still cute." She laughed softly.

Quilodor chuckled a little when she said to call on her mother if the tribe ever needed food. "Believe me, the women responsible for the cooking in our tribe do an excellent job as well," he said. He listened curiously when she talked about her parents meeting and he smiled a bit. "I know nothing about cooking or farming. Suppose I'll make a useless husband one day," he joked with a chuckle, shaking his head. He glanced aside when he heard the screaming of her brothers and then looked back at her with a smile. "They're certainly a handful. I don't envy your parents," he said.

Sariandi blushed when Valery said that she'd liked her for a long time and that she was willing to wait. She glanced briefly away, and then nervously looked back at Valery. "So does that mean...does that mean eventually you think we're going to...?" she asked a bit nervously. She wasn't entirely sure what this thing with Valery even was. In the tribe, women weren't supposed to be attracted to one another - it was just another one of the things about her that was broken - yet Valery seemed totally unconcerned about it.

When he said that he would make a useless husband she smirked, "Probably." She joked. Quinn had looked up at him when he said that he didn't envy her parents because of her brothers being a handful. "Ahh yeah... they can be. Them buggers. Love them to death, but sometimes you gotta throw them." She smirked and ate some of her food. "But they are young and they learn pretty fast. I took the calmest one to practice shooting and my father took on to do the farming, and one stayed with my mom to cook. Then we switch the next day. We have a system." She laughed softly.

Valery blinked and dropped her hands, "I would hope... or I would really like to when the moment is right. Right now isn't the time and I know that. But at least kissing was and I got to have your first one." She giggled and poked her nose. "Plus rushing is no fun.. nope nope." She smiled and stretched.

Quilodor started eating while Quinn spoke, a smile coming to his lips when she talked about how she and her parents would each take one of the boys. "That's quite the clever system," he commented with a smile. "I don't know if I could handle that many all at once. I'd obviously like a handful of my own one day, but I don't want them all in one go," he said with a laugh, shaking his head slightly.

Sariandi blinked in surprise when Valery confirmed that she did, in fact, want to sleep with her. She gazed up at her, giggling a bit when the blonde poked her nose. "That's...one thing I don't think I'll ever understand about your human society. The lack of rules and expectations...although, I suppose it's the lack of rules that allows for things like serial killers to run around," she said. "You're so nonchalant about this, as if it's no different from anything else, except we're both girls, so it's not the same as anything else."

Quinn nodded, "Oh man... triplets run in my family. My father is a triplet. His mother is a triplet. Her aunt was one... so forth and such. So... that is why I rather not get knocked up... or you know by some random guy or something. I really rather not have to deal with that on my own and Valery would murder him in a heartbeat so..." she shrugged and laughed. "Hmm what about you? I know your tribe is like... well has this thing with marriage. Shouldn't you be married by now? How is she? I bet she is real pretty. Ugh probably tall and just like... gorgeous." She laughed.

Valery blinked and sighed, "we have rules and expectations, but like you, serial killers break them... or well any bad guy. We don't have rules on who you want to love. We expect people not to be assholes, but you can control everyone. Iri's mom is from your tribe and she said fuck it and left. Yeah she had Iri with a man that isn't the Mayor, but now she is in a high position. So..." She shrugged. "If you love your rules so much you can always go back and like... repent for kissing me." She smirked and got up.

Quilodor chuckled a little when she talked about triplets running in her family and he shook his head. "If you're at risk for triplets then definitely don't go having any kids until you've got a loyal and dedicated husband who'll be there to help raise them," he agreed with a grin. When she asked about whether he was married, he chuckled and shook his head. "I should be, but I'm not yet. I just...keep holding out for the right girl, you know? Whenever I saw Yalathanil and Tenestrae together, I knew they had something special, and I see the same thing between him and his new girl, Iridessa. I want something like what he has. I don't want to just marry a woman out of duty because I know I have to, you know what I mean? I want something real. I want to marry for love."

Sariandi raised an eyebrow slightly. "Do I look like I like the rules?" she asked, shaking her head and sighing. "I'm everything the rules are against. I'm supposed to be married and popping out babies by now, I'm not supposed to be attracted to other girls, I'm definitely not supposed to be practicing dark magic and worshipping evil gods..." She sighed, looking away. "But I don't want to marry some tribesman and pop out a bunch of babies and be good. It's no fun."

Quinn nodded, "Of course... I would really hate to have a kid or kids with some waste of a man." She said and then listened to him. "Oh? Jesus... are you sure you aren't my daddy?" She asked and genty poked his cheek. Her father peeked in, "Excuse me? Where do you think you got your luscious hair from? Or your beautiful pale complexion with freckles?" He asked and she sighed. "I got it from you." She smirked and shooed him away. "It would be wise to do so for love, but a relationship takes work and it isn't always fun and games." She said.

Valery shrugged, "Now I gotta go get my cuffs since you wanna be a bad girl. Hmm now where did I put them?" She asked and got up before walking away. She went into her office and started to dig in her drawers and looking around. "I know they are in the house." She said and moved to her room.

Quilodor nodded his agreement when she said she didn't want to have kids with a waste of a man. He chuckled a little when her father peeked in and pointed out that she couldn't deny him, and when she said that a relationship took work, he gave a shrug of his shoulders. "Maybe, but if you love the person, that's the part that matters. If you're in love, you're willing to put in the extra bit of effort to make sure things work," he replied with a smile.

Sariandi blinked in surprise when Valery said she was going to find her cuffs and she followed her as she started to look for them. She had a feeling she knew what Valery was talking about, but she wasn't entirely certain. "Now...I didn't say I was gonna be that bad. Not arrest-worthy, that's for sure," she said with a giggle.

Quinn nodded and agreed. "Well yeah, of course... but it seems like some people... no matter how much they love one another... it isn't always enough." She said and picked up their dishes and went to clean them. "Well I am sure you will find someone in one of the elven tribes. There is a good bit. Just gotta keep your head held high." She smiled and hummed as she washed.

Valery looked at her and pouted, "Aww lame... I was so going to love with putting you in my handcuffs and watching you try to hocus pocus your way out of it." She giggled and walked over to her before kissing her forehead. "Silly, girl." She said softly and ran a hand up the curve of her body and in a quick movement had her pinned against the wall. "Us a spell on me." Valery smiled.
