Amiras's home is on the outskirts of the city away from most of the business of the inner city. Treelines separate her home from her neighbors, giving her home a good bit of privacy. It has two spacious bedrooms and two baths both located on the second floor of the house. Downstairs along with the living room and kitchen there is a study and a door to a porch on the side of the house next to a sun room near the back. It has a decent sized backyard.

Weston chuckled a bit when she said that she didn't want to get out of bed and he shook his head a bit. "Unfortunately it doesn't work like that, because I won't be in your bed all day and then you won't have me to keep you here," he teased gently. When she said they should start their day he nodded, standing up. "I'll go get dressed. Meet you downstairs?" he said, leaning over and kissing her cheek quickly before heading to the door.

Phoenix looked over at Lance when he spoke and she smiled. "Morning, you cutie," she teased. She set down the outfit she'd picked and went to the bed, going around to his side and sitting down by him so she could reach over and cup his cheek. "You're so sexy when you've just woken up. If I didn't have to go to work I'd just keep you here in my bed all day long," she giggled.

Amira sighed. " One of these days I will get you to indulge my lazy side and just sleep all day with me. One day...." She said and then nodded. "Mmk." She said and got up and got dressed, her teeth brushed and her hair in order before running downstairs to meet up with Weston. She was hoping that it was cool out so that the cold air might wake her up a little. Today was not her morning already, she was so damn sleepy.

Lance chuckled a little when she said she would keep him in bed all day if she could. " I would not mind that. But I should probably think about getting ready for work eventually..." He said with a little but of a sigh. He kissed her cheek and then got up and stretched a little, his hands hitting the ceiling. " Oh well good morning to you too ceiling..." He mumbled and then shook his head.

Weston laughed when Amira said that he would have to indulge her lazy side one day and he shook his head. "My non-lazy side won't allow it. I crave exercise," he teased. He got ready, heading to his room to get dressed before heading downstairs to meet her. He smiled as he looked at her. "Have I told you yet that you're the most beautiful woman in all the world? Because you certainly are," he said softly.

Phoenix giggled when he said he wouldn't mind her keeping him there all day. "One day. You, me, all night, all day," she told him with a smirk. "Did you wanna come hop in the shower with me? I'm pretty sure we both need a thorough cleaning after last night," she said with a laugh. "And plus I usually like to do evening showers but I didn't really get a chance yesterday. Or, you know, you can wait around out here. Your call," she teased before she started to walk towards the door.

Amira blinked at Weston. " Must you pick the day I look beyond tied and just lifeless to say such things to me?" She teased. " At least the blushing I'm doing will make me look a little more awake." She said and walked over and leaned up to kiss him gently. " You read? I'm not, but maybe it will wake me up." She said as she pulled away from him.

Lance smirked a little too. " Sounds like a plan dear." He said and then laughed a little bit. " Uh...get in the shower with my beyond sexy girlfriend, or sit around and stare at the ceiling....hmm.." he said, pretending to think about it. He got up and walked to her, giving her ass a quick slap. " Don't even gotta ask me that question you silly woman. Of course I want to join you."

Weston laughed softly when she said she looked tired and lifeless. "You always look beautiful to me. Maybe there's something about the sleepy look in your eyes that makes you look more innocent and less like a little demon woman," he teased gently. He kissed her back when she kissed him and he nodded when she asked if he was easy. "Of course I'm ready," he said, heading to the door with her.

Phoenix laughed at his words, shaking her head a bit. "Damn right you're gonna get in the shower with your beyond sexy girlfriend," she teased. She smirked when he slapped her ass, taking his hand and pulling him to the washroom with her. When they were done their shower, they headed back into the bedroom to get dressed. Phoenix strapped her favourite dagger to her thigh like she always did, glancing over at the end table where all their concealed weapons had ended up. "We're a damn armoury," she said with a shake of her head. "With what the two of us take off in order to have sex we could arm a small militia."

Amira gasped. "Oh no, I better wake up some more before I risk looking like a downright Angel. Please no." She said and headed to the door, walking out of it and starting their run when they got to the side walk. She really was not about this run, and the cold air was not doing what she hoped, but she started the run, so she was damn well going to finish it.

When their shower was over Lance walked back to the bedroom and started to get dressed too, strapping things to himself as he went along getting dressed. He couldnt help but laugh at the comment she made. "Well, I'll be the head of a kingdoms top weapons manufacturer, and you're a spy. Either one of us would be silly not to carry these things around on us." He said and then went to grab his one dagger and didnt see it. "Uh, babe, did you see where my other dagger went?" He asked, slipping on his glasses and looking around for it. He got down and looked under the bed. "Oh, there it is, must have gotten knocked off the end table..." He said as he reached to grab it.

Weston laughed softly at Amira's comment and shook his head a bit. He headed out with her for the run, but he could tell that she wasn't really into it, the poor thing. When they finished their run and got home, he looked down at her as they headed inside. "Maybe I should have just let you sleep," he said. He felt a bit bad that Amira obviously hadn't been enjoying the run like she usually did.

Phoenix laughed a little when he pointed out how silly they would be not to carry weapons on them and she shrugged a bit. "Hey, I wasn't complaining. Just thought it was funny," she told him as she got dressed, also putting her concealed weapons in place as she went. When he asked if she knew where his other dagger was, she frowned and shook her head. "I haven't seen it," she said. She blinked when he started reaching for it under the bed. "Be careful down there, babe. I've got a sword under that side of the bed and it's kinda precarious. It's a bitch to get back in place if you knock it out of position," she said.

Amira shrugged. "Ehhhh... I probably shouldnt go making a habit of skipping runs anyways. Im just extra tired today for whatever reason." She said and then went to go get breakfast made. She made the hangover smoothie she liked to make, hoping that might help a little bit. It could just be that fall was here and it was making her sleepier than usual. She was pretty sure she'd be fine by the end of the day.

Lance chuckled. "I know. If you did complain I'd have to look at you funny. " He said and then as he was reaching he laughed a little bit. "Dont worry, I wont. I'm far too used to the one under my bed back at the villa." He said and grabbed his dagger and strapped it to himself before pulling his shirt on.

Weston chuckled a bit and shook his head. "No, princess, please don't make a habit of skipping runs. I know how important it is to you to stay in shape. I feel like you'd be sad if you were a chubby bunny - not that you wouldn't be adorable if you were, of course," he told her with a smile. He followed her into the kitchen as she went to make the hangover smoothie, amused when he saw what she was doing. If he hadn't known better that he'd been with her all night, he'd have wondered if she'd gotten wasted - but he'd been with her the whole night, so that obviously wasn't the case.

Phoenix kept getting dressed while he reached for the dagger, blinking slightly when she heard his words. "God, do I ever love you," she muttered with a shake of her head, and then blinked when she realized what she had said. Shit. She had just said it for the first time and it had been so anticlimactic. She hadn't even really been looking at him, it had been more under her breath and to herself than to him... She felt her face going red and she focused on zipping up her skirt, hoping maybe he wouldn't have heard it so she could say it again some time when the moment was right.

Amira laughed a little. "If I ever start getting chubby you should tell me. I promise I wont get mad at you. Id rather not be a chubby bunny if it can be helped." She said and shook her head a little bit. "You want one of these?" She asked. He seemed to be perfectly fine, but today was already not her damn day.

Lance had just finished getting his shirt on when he heard what Nixy had said. He walked over behind her and held her hips as he leaned down and kissed her cheek. "I love you too." He said softly and then let go of her. "Now, lets go eat bagels. Cant have you being late to pick up Amira." He said as he slipped his shoes on. Their first I love yous turned out to be very casual, but it seemed to be fitting enough, and he did love her, he just hadnt been too sure he should say so until now.

Weston laughed a little and nodded. "Deal. If I see you turning into a cute little chubby bunny, I'll tell you. But not until after I've given you a squeeze for the fun of it," he teased. When she asked if he wanted a smoothie, he nodded slightly. "Sure, thanks. Might as well since you're already making them," he replied. "If you're not having a full-on breakfast I'll probably just make something after you leave, and then I'll head down to the library. I need to do some research for the new story idea," he said with a grin. He was excited about the new book.

Phoenix blushed as Lance came over and held her hips, smiling a bit when she heard his words. She couldn't help but to giggle a bit when he said they should go eat bagels and she nodded. "Bagels it is," she said, going and putting her own shoes on as he did before taking his hand and heading out to the kitchen with him. She grabbed the bag of bagels and took a couple out, looking over at him. "Heated, toasted, or cold?" she asked.

Amira gasped. "So rude. Dont squeeze my chubbiness." She said and shook her head at him. "Yeah, you should probably make something when I leave. I'm just gonna drink this and pick up coffee on the way to work." She said and then smiled at him. "Research huh? Sounds fun? You seem excited about it anyways." She said with a giggle.

Lance happily went downstairs with phoenix and watched as she pulled the bagels out. "Toasted of course. Who eats a bagel cold? Do you? I think I can probably live with that. I might look at you funny though, fair warning." He said and then blinked. "But if I ever look at you funny without my glasses on, thats just because I cant see." He chuckled.

Weston laughed softly when she said not to squeeze her chubbiness and he shook his head. "No guarantees. If you're squishy, I'll squeeze. End of story," he teased. He nodded when she said she was just going to have the smoothie and a coffee. "Okay. I'll make something when I leave - can't do research on an empty stomach," he said with a chuckle. "Honestly for pretty much anything you write, you have to do research. The number of books I had about marine life and the ocean when I was writing my first book...was a little excessive," he laughed.

Phoenix giggled softly and started one of the bagels toasting. The other, she just heated up, not toasting it. "I don't eat them cold, that's weird as hell. I like them warm, but I don't really enjoy the crispiness of them when they're toasted," she told him with a shrug. When he said that he couldn't see her if he looked at her funny without his glasses, she giggled. "I've definitely figured that one out, babe," she teased. "What'd you want to drink?"

Amira shook her head. "That explains why you touch my butt so much. Its plenty squishy." She said and then nodded a little bit. "I figured it would be that way, dont want to get things wrong and end up with people mad over incorrect information or something like that." She said softly and worked on the smoothies.

Lance sighed. "Oh good, that is super weird. I wouldnt want to eat a cold bagel." He said and shook his head. " Oh good. The last girlfriend I had always swore I was just looking at her funny for no reason for months until she put my glasses on and realized how blind I am." He said with a chuckle. "I'll just do water, please."

Weston smirked a bit when she said that her butt was squishy and he nodded. "It is. I'm very fond of it," he said with a smirk, moving a little closer so he could give it a gentle squeeze while she worked on the smoothies. "Yeah, I've heard horror stories about writers who didn't do their research and had readers give them hell over it. Even if it's a completely fictional world with unrealistic characters, there are still things you need to research," he told her with a bit of a shrug.

Phoenix giggled when Lance said that eating a cold bagel was weird and she shook her head. "Some people do it," she said, shrugging a bit. She smirked a bit, pouring him a glass of water and bringing it over to him. She gently took his glasses off his face, giggling a bit as she put them on herself. She blinked, slowly looking around. "What the fuck..." she said, taking them off and gently sliding them back on his face. "I have no idea how you function. No idea at all," she said, shaking her head.

Amira giggled a little bit. "I know you do." She said and shook her head. "Well I guess people just want the best of fantasy and realistic content all at once dont they?" She said and shook her head as she poured the smoothies into some cups and handed Weston his before taking a good few drinks of hers. She was thinking maybe she just went to bed dehydrated or something, since she was starting to feel better already now that she was up.

Lance watched her take his glasses, taking a sip of his water as she put them on. He couldnt stop laughing at her first comment. "I told you I couldnt really see father than five feet in front of me, and thats a pretty generous estimate too." He said and then shrugged. "You get used to it. The glasses definitely help, like a lot." He teased a little.

Weston chuckled a bit and took the smoothie from her, taking a sip. "I think this is the first time I've had this that I wasn't hung over. Am I going to have an overabundance of energy and good feelings?" he teased, a smile on his lips. "To be honest, it's been really nice not getting drunk every night. I'm waking up earlier, I feel better, and I actually get to remember the time I spend with you in the evenings," he said with a laugh. "And it keeps me from doing stuff I shouldn't. Like, you know, writing stories about you that make you blush," he added, smirking.

Phoenix just stared at him for a second before going to pour herself a glass of juice. "But what if you're in a fight and your glasses come off? Because let me tell you, if I was fighting someone with glasses on, my first instinct would be to knock those things off and take advantage of their blindness," she said. "And what'd you want on your bagel?" she asked, since they were almost done.

Amira giggled a little bit. "No, you'll just be nice and hydrated, you might have a little extra energy, but its basically a smoothie for hydration and some vitamins from the fruit." She said and then laughed. "Im glad you arent getting drunk every night either. No more drunk kisses we wont remember in the morning huh?" She said and then shook her head. "Yeah its probably best you dont make me blush any more than you already do."

Lance shrugged a little bit. "I learned to fight with them off so its not really a huge deal if they do get knocked off since thats what im used to anyways. My father took that into account before the training began. " He said and then thought about what to have on his bagel. "Uhh... Put whatever you like on your bagel on mine too." He said.

Weston chuckled a bit when she said she'd be nice and hydrated. When she commented about drunk kisses they wouldn't remember in the morning, he blinked slightly. "I'm assuming you're just joking, princess?" he said somewhat warily. He'd almost forgotten about that incident since Amira kissing him in his lap had become a regular occurrence and was no longer as much of a big deal as it had been back then. "Because if you are, then goodness, do I ever have a story for you," he said with a chuckle. He felt bad that she didn't remember that first kiss, and what was the harm in telling her about it now?

Phoenix nodded understandingly when he explained that his father had made sure he'd learn to fight without his glasses. "That makes sense. It'd suck if you couldn't fight with them off," she said. She got out the cream cheese and put a little on the bagels, and then set them on plates and brought them over to the table. She handed him his and sat down with him, smiling. "Enjoy," she said before taking a bite.

Amira shook her head a little bit. "Why would I be joking?" She asked and sipped her drink. She hadnt realized she might have pointed out times that theyd been drunk and kissed. She looked up at him. "Oh you have a story for me huh? You should definitely tell me about it."

Lance nodded a little bit. "Mhm. He wasnt about to have sons who inherited the family business and didnt know how to use the weapons we sold, so Aiden and I spent a lot of time training with him." He said and then sat down at the table with his bagel and smiled before taking a bite and making an Mmm noise. Bagels had to be one of the best things he'd eaten since he left home.

Weston smiled a bit, setting down his drink and reaching over to take her hand in his. "Okay, but you aren't allowed to be mad at me," he said softly. "So way back in the wintertime when I hadn't been living here very long, one evening we were sitting by the fire drinking wine and eating chocolate - as we did, because those were pretty much all our evenings - we ended up having a bit much to drink. When you got up to go to bed you tripped and you fell into my lap, but then you didn't get up, and we ended up kissing. I didn't kiss you, you didn't kiss me - we just kind of...kissed one another, you know? I stopped it before it went too far, don't worry, and then the next morning you didn't seem to remember anything about it so I didn't say anything. I was worried you'd be upset," he told her.

Phoenix smiled and nodded when he said that his father hadn't wanted them to inherit the family business if they didn't know how to use the product. "Makes sense," she replied softly, nodding a bit. "I'm glad my father never taught me to take over the family business. Drugs and prostitutes and murder...no thank you. It's bad enough he had me luring people in when I was little, or that he fucking used me for transactions and shit..." Her voice suddenly trailed off as she realized she still hadn't gotten around to telling Lance about that part of her life, how her father had given away her virginity to business associates as part of a deal. She awkwardly looked down at her bagel as she munched on it.

Amira laughed a little bit. "We did spend a lot of our evenings drinking wine and eating chocolate." She said and shook her head. She had to hold back the giggles that threatened to escape when Weston explained that night by the fire when they had kissed. She nodded a little bit. "I know. I didnt say anything because you didnt either so I thought you didnt remember it." She said, finally letting herself giggle a little. "That was a really weird morning for both of us I guess."

Lance munched on his bagel as Phoenix started talking about not wanting to be a part of the family business. He was glad for that too she had done well to turn them in. He raised an eyebrow about using her for transactions. But she was looking awkwardly at her bagel and wasnt saying anything else about it. "Well, i'm glad that you went and became a spy instead for sure." He said softly.

Weston blinked slightly, his mouth falling open in surprise when Amira said that she had remembered that drunken kiss. "You knew all along?" he asked, shaking his head. "Amazing...well...it was a really good kiss," he told her with a chuckle. "To be totally honest, I already wanted you when it happened, but it made me want you more. I didn't figure I deserved someone like you, though, so I had to be content with sitting back and being your friend - which is fine, obviously, because you're an amazing friend, and I've always been grateful for you," he said softly.

Phoenix nodded her agreement when he said that he was glad she had become a spy instead. "Yeah...they were shitty people. I didn't want any part in it any more," she said softly. "Especially once it started affecting me directly. I couldn't deal with that. I don't regret going to the King, because it gave me reassurance that my parents and their friends could never hurt anyone again."

Amira nodded. "Yeah, I knew all along, I just didnt want to say anything because we were both drunk, and I didnt want to bring it up and things get really awkward between us." She said and then shook her head. " And to think we could have been dating this whole time. I was pretty sure you didnt look at me as anything more as a friend, and you were so secretive about things I just figured that it was best not to tell you I liked you. I really didnt want to risk losing you as a friend." She said and shrugged a little. "It all worked out though."

Lance nodded slightly. "You definitely did they right thing there, now they cant hurt anyone else anymore. That and im sure the crime in Austemior as a whole was reduced a good damn bit." He said softly. This was kind of a sad conversation for breakfast, but at least they could talk about things like this and things not get super weird and awkward.

Weston smiled and shook his head at her words. "I didn't think you would see me as anything more than a friend, and I didn't believe I could trust you with all of myself. I didn't want to be with you under false pretences, after all. As much as I would have loved it if we had been dating this whole time, I think it's for the better that I had time first to come to trust you as a friend," he told her softly. "Let me tell you...seeing your friends set you up with another guy was so hard for me," he chuckled.

Phoenix smiled over at him when he told her that she had done the right thing and that crime as a whole had probably been reduced. "I damn well hope so. I hope any would-be criminals thinking about getting into that stuff saw what happened and decided against it, too," she said. "Talking about it kinda makes me wonder what happened to them. Maybe the next time I'm in Austemoir I'll ask Sophia about it. If they're alive, I could go see them and rub my happiness in their faces," she joked, a smile on her lips.
