Setting
Nen Othrond is one of the many cities that sit next to the ocean. Its mayor is Henry Beaumont. It is a touristy type of city and you can find a lot sun, fun, and maybe even a nice tan.
Iridessa looked over at him and gave him a look but hesitantly got up and walked over to the bed and laid where he patted. She looked up at the ceiling. "Yes yes, Lenny, the ceiling is a nice shade of brown. Thank you for showing me." She said softly, though she wasn't feeling like playing this game with him. Crying had taken a good bit of energy out of her and she wanted to sleep.
Lenandel chuckled slightly at her comment about the colour of the ceiling and he shifted to lay on his side, gazing down at her. "You're not as awful as I thought, kid," he said in a gentle tone. "Can I be honest with you? I mean, I guess I've already done a lot of that after our talk last night, but you were asking questions and I was answering, so that's different."
Iridessa's eyes shifted from the ceiling to him and blushed a bit. "Thanks, same to you, princess." She smirked a bit before shrugging. "Why not? Like you said you have been, so why stop now?" She asked and looked back at him. A part of her wanted to reach up and play with his beard as he talked but she kept her hands to herself.
Lenandel chuckled slightly and nodded. "That's true," he said. "I just wasn't sure if you'd welcome my words without them being prompted." He reached down and gently brushed a lock of blonde hair out of her face. "Ty and my sister, they've got strings of lovers halfway to Jerrical and back. No matter where we stop, they've probably got someone there or someone nearby who knows them, knows what they like, and is always willing to spend the night with them. I think...I think that the reason I don't do that is because I don't feel like I deserve it. I let my little sister murder the woman I loved and instead of going back to the tribe and explaining what had happened, I ran off with Keona to avoid facing them. They probably think I was captured or some shit like that..."
He paused for a bit. He knew that there was no way to really justify what he did to women, but to explain it... "So instead I just take what I need and I don't pay attention to the feelings of the women. And most of the time, yes, it hurts them, but if I paid any mind to how they felt then I'd get attached and the part of me that doesn't think I deserve that...stops me."
Iridessa smirked when he chuckled. He always looked better when he didn't have an angry or evil looking face on, which is why she liked to watch him sleep. When he went to brush a lock of her hair away she flinched, scared he was going to hit her. Though she did listen to him and even though there was no excuse for why he did that to women, she understood. Iridessa wanted him to stop for the sake of those girls, no one deserved the things he probably did to them. She reached up and gently stroked his cheek and beard. If she could stop him then dying wouldn't be so bad, she would be doing so on a good deed. "I get it... but I wish you would stop... you are so much more than that." She said softly before smiling softly. "This... person who wants me said I had to stay a virgin right... he never said anything about my mouth." She said. "Just try not to wreck my fucking face... okay?"
Lenandel smiled a bit when she reached up to stroke his cheek and beard, relieved that she wasn't avoiding touching him any more. It really hadn't been the touching, it had been the song. When she spoke, he raised an eyebrow slightly. "Iridessa..." he said in a low voice, his smile fading slightly, "what are you saying right now...?"
Iridessa looked down at his tattoos and traced them with her fingers. She was scared, there was no lie about that, but she couldn't have those girls' lives or whatever on her hands when she died... like with K. Iridessa smiled softly before looking up at him, "I am saying stop using those girls and just use me... as much as you possibly can. I am asking you too.. if I have to beg I will." She said softly.
Lenandel raised an eyebrow slightly as he listened. "It won't work," he told her softly. "It's an outlet for aggression. Even if I used your mouth instead, I'd have to be careful and that would just defeat the purpose," he continued. He was certain that it wouldn't work.

Iridessa frowned, "You don't need to be aggressive when angry... there are ways for you to take out your anger without having to nearly kill someone." She said and sat up. "Please..." She begged. "Just let me help you find a different out lit."
Lenandel gazed up at her as she sat up, and slowly, a smile began to creep across her face. "We can try it your way," he said finally. "I don't know how happy Ty and Keona are gonna be about it, but if this is what you want, then go for it," he said to her.
Iridessa glared, "Psh if I had one they could suck it too. They aren't too worried about me right now, now are they?" She asked before sitting there and then she realized. "Oh.." She blushed from head to toe. "You... you want me.. right now?" She asked, clearly nervous. I only did this once! And he was already ready. Oh my god what do I do... do I touch it? No... the pants... wait... I feel like I am missing something right now. She cried in her head.
Iridessa nodded and was going to hurry out when a mother screamed she couldn't get to her baby in the room. Iridessa turned and looked the woman couldn't get in because of the fire but there was a small enough space to get through. "I... I can get in... take the mother out and I will meet you out back." She said, clear she wasn't going to take no for an answer and hurried before sliding into the small space and going in. She coughed as she inhaled smoke but went looking for the screaming baby who was dangerously close to the fire. She grabbed him and was about to crawl back when the opening closed. "Crap!" She screamed whiled trying to calm the baby. Part of the floor dropped and Iridessa jumped back. There was just enough space she could jump and get out through the second floor.
Without hesitating she jumped and winched as a pain shot up her leg, but luckily she could still move on it. She hurried out of the room and made it out of the back.
Darcy got the cart out and was waiting on Tyrell or someone to make a decision. "The fire is spreading and we can't get to the back side..." He said and threw K into the back of the cart and got in. "Let's try going through the opposite side." He said and Darcy nodded. He did as was told and was going as fast as he could when the horse spooked and took them way off course. "Dammit!" Darcy and Tyrell yelled.
Keona was startled when Tyrell threw her into the cart but she nodded. "Right, good idea," she said, rushing to the front of the wagon to watch what was happening as Darcy manoeuvered the wagon, trying to get around to the far side of the inn to see whether Lenandel and Iridessa were there. She groaned when the horse got spooked. "Stupid horses!" she exclaimed in frustration. This was the second time a horse had screwed them over. She was getting more and more worried about Iridessa and her brother.
Tyrell tried to take over the horses but they had a mind of their own and by the time he got them to stop he had no idea where they were or how to even get back to the town. When he looked back he couldn't even see the smoke or the orange glow. Hell the rain even stopped that was how far they had gotten. "We are going to have to keep going straight till we hit a town and hopefully they will meet us there..." He sighed.
Keona watched in frustration as the town disappeared behind them. The horse hustled its way down random roads until they were so far the rain had faded, the smoke had dissipated, and Keona groaned. She glanced over at Tyrell when he spoke and she nodded. "Yeah. Unless we're in the complete wrong direction, of course, and then we'll have to head in the right direction so we're actually on their route," she added, frowning.
Tyrell sighed, "We won't know until we get to the next town. Darcy, keep going down this road, it is bound to take us some where." He said and sat in the back of the cart. He hoped the two got out. Knowing Lenny he wouldn't want to lose out on his money so he would have carried her over his shoulder and got out. "I am sure the two are fine.. he is your brother after all." He said.
