"I can count cards. Put me on a table and everyone will be too busy watching me to have a clue you guys are up to something." Kai took a moment to nod to Sherry. "She's a bombshell, I'm sure she could keep eyes on her too. As a back up plan."
Lip turned his attention to the Asian woman, sizing her up before Elias chimed in with an equally good, if not more hedonistic plan. He didn't enjoy the idea of leaving Sherry alone without giving her more training on this type of matter, especially since he didn't know much about her background. It was just like Elias to be paranoid one minute yet still succumb to living on the edge. That wasn't to say that the Crimson Wolves weren't already doing that, but Lip liked to think that their sort of hellraising promoted more safety and control. What Elias asked of them required more than a small dent in the funds. It meant investing in brand name clothing, two rooms at the least, training Sherry in a few days, and having (almost) everyone draw their attention on Marie and Eli. Not to say that he didn't believe in the duo to show off their chemistry but that they would need to execute their arguments to a tee and that Marie wouldn't be able to be in the getaway car.
"Sounds like something straight out of a movie," Phillip muttered, taking a long drag, "but I could see you two causing a scene."
After Elias declared that he'd go on a beer run, Lip stamped out the rest of his cigarette and headed toward one of the rooms.
"I'll pass on the beer," he said, "just let me know when you're done gettin' drunk."
Unlike Elias whose energy level climbed higher and higher with each word Phil felt more and more exhausted.
