Introduction
Ethaeri. Homeland to many different species of the realm, from Humans to Dwarves, all Creatures, Beings and Fauna lived peacefully with one another. This was not always the case, however, as long before the Human Race succeeded to the throne and outweighed other species, there was a war to decide the ruler. This war brought flames that scorched the shores of the land, that pumped cinder and foul fumes into the very air that was breathed, and the war spilt the blood of fallen kings and smiled as the blood ran dry over the landscape. The Humans were born through the bloodshed of the War, and quickly took the throne through the brilliant tactician and warmonger Joenn I. Joenn proclaimed himself High King and slaughtered whatever Races that did not bow to him. By the end of the tenth year of Eriang, the Elvish Calendar, Joenn had made every single race, humanoid to fauna, bend their knee before his Golden Throne and proclaim their undying loyalty to himself and his House, the House of Carundar. The land entered prosperity under the reign of Joenn the Conqueror, a name bestowed upon him by the Humans he had fought for. He was branded many different names by the races behind his back, and none he knew of. Joenn ruled the land of Ethaeri until he was old, grey and incapable of making a decision. His Son, Gracien took the Golden Throne after his Dad, who died a year into Gracien's rule. It was known throughout the land that although Gracien was an experienced Marshall and expert swordfighter, he had not the skills to rule a Kingdom. The land soon plunged into turmoil, and led to the Elves uprising and assassinating Gracien. With the threat of Civil War beginning to break out, Gracien's Brother and Joenn's Second Son, Galaret, stepped into the fray and restored peace, taking the mantle of High King. Due to their treachery, Galaret stripped the Elves of their Forest Kingdom and forced them to secede from the Empire, unless they sacrificed their pride and bent the knee.
The arrogance of High King Galaret forced a Civil War upon the Elvish Race, with the Highland Elves, led by Empress Kaeria, refusing to give up their honour and bend the knee, and the Tundra Elves, led by Warchief Faeo, accepting the offer and bowing before the High King. This brought upon a violent Civil War for Elvish Independence, which the Humans refused to involve themselves into, despite the Tundra Elves bending the knee to them. Due to their allies deserting them, the Tundra Elves were forced underground by the Highland Elves, who seceded from the Empire and brought their allies, the Dwarven People of Mount Haumond, out of the Empire with them. The Tundra Elves did not perish, they adapted to their new status as the Underground Elves, and left their attractive faces and soft, bronzing skin away for more streamlined and helpful, but hideous, faces and rough, white skin to protect themselves from the conditions of the dark. These Elves turned themselves from the People of the Tundra to the Felyan Elves, drawing their name from the ancient Elvish language, and the translation they had for Felya was Cave. The Felyan Elves enslaved the creatures of the Underground, like the Bats, and experimented on them with dark magic, Blood magic. They mutated the creatures into their monstrous servants, and plotted their return to the surface. Once their Underground Kingdoms were established, the Felyan Elves discovered the ancient cities of Metal, the Homelands of the Automatons that were made to help the Humans in their conquest. The Autmatons were corrupted by the dark magic of the Elves and became their soldiers, forever becoming the slaves of the Elves that corrupted and twisted their minds. The Automaton Blacksmiths created a rare magic using their ancient ability to withdraw magic from any raw substance, and crafted this magic, a magic that could manipulate a brain and soon forever control it, which they crafted into weapons for the Felyan's to use. Once their preparations were done, the Felyans began to expand to the surface once more, kidnapping travelers from the lands and enslaving them with their new magic.
When the Tundra Elves transformed and the Highland Elves and Haumond Dwarves seceded, the Humans were left with the lesser races in their Empire. Their authority and power decreased, and the Empire saw many rebellions in the time of Galaret. Once he perished, his two sons, Goreg and Varecia, were left with the throne. With Varecia showing Magic abilities as he matured, he left the Empire in the hands of his brother and renounced his heritage, becoming the Wandering Wizard and traveling the land of Ethaeri, helping those in need with his magic. Goreg had heard the stories of the Felyan Elves' power, and sent search parties to find the missing men and women. These search parties met with the same fate as the travelers, with only one man returning to Moera, the Capital of the Empire. He told High King Goreg of the Falyan Elves, but the High King took it as nonsense and sent the man away. Once the Felyan Elves grew into an almost-unstoppable force, they emerged and marched on the Highland Kingdoms and Mount Haumond, ravaging both and sending the remaining survivors running back to the Gold Throne, begging to bend the knee. Goreg allowed them to and prepared for war. The Great War was fought for almost a decade, and ravaged the face of Ethaeri forevermore. It culminated in the battle of Moera, where the Felyan Elves and their armies invaded the city and held it under siege for almost three weeks. The combined forces of the rejuvenated Elves and Dwarves tried to turn the tide, and did so when Varecia, who had turned old and wise, returned to defend his Kingdom and banished the Felyan Elves back to the Underground using Ancient Elvish rituals. He sent them retreating back into the dark underground and created the Divide, a magical barrier that could only be broken by a man of Corundish Blood. Before he died, Varecia created the White Wolves, an Order of Witch and Monster Hunters that protected the lands of Ethaeri but never were involved in the wars that transpired. When this happened, it created a peace that was sustained for almost a century.
Almost a century onwards, and High Queen Ereissa and High King Haejar, joint rulers of the Empire, had created a bitter rivalry between themselves. They argued over the leadership of the White Wolves, causing the Order to disband and Monster Hunting to be outlawed. But during the Grand Tourney of Moera, which ended with High King Haejar besting his sister in single combat, she retreated from the city and in a blindless rage, stumbled across a crack in the Divide. A single Felyan Witch emerged from the crack and saw Ereissa. Understanding she was of Corundish Blood, she used her ancient possession magic to enchant the High Queen and make her break the Divide, before bringing her down into the depths. There, the ancient Magisters of the Felyan Empire conducted numerous tests on the High Queen, manipulating her mind and removing her memories, before changing her into the very essence of the Elves, making her into The Enchantress. She sported new hair, new clothing and a new personality, as well as the power to bend anyone forever to her will with a single kiss or flirtatious movement. She had no control over her actions, and her sub-conscious remembered everything about her past life, and was forever trying to crack the shield made over her mind and bring back High Queen Ereissa.
This is your story now, what will happen when the Second Great War returns?

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 5 authors
With a little anger of his own, Wrex loudly smashed his leg armor into the bar, making a sudden sound that silenced those around him. He spoke, saying "The dragonborn prefer honor to silence. We would much rather know the problems that we face so that we may remain strong against them should they ever overtake our defenses. All must be made strong, or when one falls, so will all. This is what we are taught from hatching. This is what we learn through our lives. This is what we understand from the deaths of others."
Var snorted softly at the Dragonborn's words, shaking her head from side to side. He was clearly a long way from home, and it was... refreshing. If only the world were so sweet and simple, that strength and honor meant something to the likes of these people. She was not one to speak of such, for she was a thief, and an outcast. However, Var had never pretended to be either. She was not in the habit of breaking promises, or making ones she wasn't sure she could keep.
Her voice may have been louder than was truly necessary, but it was the edge of bitterness that hung in the air, long after the final syllable had left her mouth.
"They are men. Cowardice is their defining feature." Her lips held an uneven line, a slight tremble of anger that was barely concealed, for even though the people had quieted, it wasn't out of respect.
After all, men only listened to men.
Done with his little speech, Wrex took a look around. It was obvious that aside from the bartender and Var, he may not have made many friends. It was obvious that the men were not likely to attack one at a time, they were just smart enough to not do that. However, the whispers of attacking all at once sounded about them like the subtle hum of a distant army's march.
The setting changes from Ethaeri to Othronn Dur
Was she truly The Enchantress? Was she truly the Queen of the Felyans, or simply some puppet that had been placed on the throne to act as a placeholder, whilst another member of her court plotted against her? Only time would tell, but The Enchantress was not a woman with patience. She needed answers, she needed an objective, and the world dominance and revenge for the Felyan race did not seem like it would happen, with the various difficulties the Felyan forces had been having.
The Enchantress remembered various things from her visions, she remembered a face, auburn hair with a matching goatee, a crown upon his head and the royal blue on his cloak. She knew this man, and she knew he was dear to her heart. Whoever this man was, she was part of The Enchantress' family, whatever family this was, she did not know.
But the main thing the Enchantress remembered was the thing that terrified her the most: A Name. A single name, spoken to the eyes her vision had her looking from, and every time it was said, The Enchantress remembered it.
